Feb 27, 2026Clearly a passion project for Digital Eclipse and Ubisoft, Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition is a proper celebration of the limbless platforming icon. His first adventure set the stage for what future titles would be and is still as charming today as when it was originally released 30 years ago. Any fan of Rayman will certainly want to check out this premium rerelease.

Feb 27, 2026Rayman 30th Anniversary Edition is a fitting tribute to one of the main mascots of the 32-bit era, and the different versions included show how a 1990s title can age well, even with some structural flaws. From a memorabilia standpoint, the timeline is wonderful, portraying everything from Michel Ancel's ideas to all the paths that led to the character's creation. The lack of the original soundtrack is a significant drawback, however, it doesn't overshadow the Rayman anniversary celebration.

Feb 27, 2026Rayman 30th Anniversary Collection shines for its historical value. Having five different versions of the first game is appreciated for its preservation, along with the tools that facilitate a less accessible experience and the extensive documentary archives. However, it may leave the feeling that the developers could have done more for one of their flagship franchises.

Feb 25, 2026Rayman – 30th Anniversary Edition, from developer Digital Eclipse and publisher Ubisoft, shows off the original game on various platforms. While there is no doubt some repetitiveness with seeing the same game repeatedly on various systems, the collection still brings some good video game history and some fantastic gameplay.

Feb 19, 2026If you've never played the original game, I'd recommend giving it a try just to learn more about this beloved icon from the era of video game mascots. Ultimately, if you're not too bothered by the music, you might enjoy it.
