    Even a forgettable version of MLB The Show still delivers a best-in-class baseball experience. It makes it hard to recommend if you picked up the last few years’ editions, but if you’ve taken a year or two off, it might be time to jump back in.

    At its core, the overall gameday feel and experience is largely unchanged. There are enough mild changes here to sway your eyes enough away from that aspect.

    MLB The Show 25 remains a solid baseball game. However, it lacks significant changes from its previous version. The addition of High School and College/University play feels limited with only eight teams. Paying $70 for a roster update and a few minor tweaks doesn’t seem worth it.
