    Very good game, nice history and dialogs. Pleasure to play a game without in game transactions... I know that the game has not much purchases and it is bad, because this game 200 times better than worst Marvel Avangers. I Hope developers understand that. 9/10 from me, just small problems with animations, another things in game are perfect.

    Words cannot describe what an amazing game Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy was. Square Enix really went all out on delivering an incredible journey I loved even more than Insomniac's Spider-Man. Telling an amazing and compelling story where all your choices matter, this game was just as much fun to watch as it was to play as I went on so many adventures with this lovable cast. While IWords cannot describe what an amazing game Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy was. Square Enix really went all out on delivering an incredible journey I loved even more than Insomniac's Spider-Man. Telling an amazing and compelling story where all your choices matter, this game was just as much fun to watch as it was to play as I went on so many adventures with this lovable cast. While I only 'liked' them after seeing their first movie in 2014, I 'LOVE' them after going on this journey with them in 2022. This game felt more like a sequel than the second movie did by really expanding on each Guardian and growing their characters, occasionally making me super emotional and always increading my love for each one of them. And while I dare not spoil the plot, I will say the journey this game takes you on comes with many twists and turns you never expect and always makes you excited to play more.

    Gameplay may be secondary to the story, but it definitely has no shortcomings. The combat is a blast, the world always charming to explore, and the music a constant intense and fantastic. Doing combos with your characters and leading your team into battle always feels so satisfying, and while you technically only control Star-Lord, you really do feel like you're always playing as a team. There are a good amount of glitches, and perhaps a crash here or there, but even so it's always easy to work around or catch yourself back up with each setback.

    Had I played this game last year, there's no doubt in my mind it would have made my Top 10 list for 2021. This game is a true masterpiece and a work of love and passion, and singlehandedly made me love the Guardians even more than I already did. I can't recommend this masterpiece enough and I hope more of my friends out there experience it. It really is flarking amazing.    … Expand

    - Gameplay, fun and fluid like all games should be, small but great skill tree which adds a few abilities to you and your friends. All of which are fun to use.
    - Story, well written and enjoyable from start to end. Even emotional at times.
    - DRAX IS AMAZING AND SO FUNNY

    Cons
    - The game has pretty much no replay ability due to it being pretty linear. Most levels you will experience everyting without being able to explore.
    - Gameplay doesn't evolve enough, im the end you are still shooting bad guys with the same guns as you did in the beginning.
    - Ending could have done with a bit more fleshing out

    I flarking love this game! Im on chapter 9 and I cant stop playing it because it gets better and better each new chapter. Beautiful graphics. Awesome game play. Entertaining story. Great 80s music! I would of gave it a 10 but I got stuck in multiple spots throughout the game where I had to restart my game to get unstuck because the traversal isn't that good, its not bad but I think itI flarking love this game!     Gráficos excelentes, excelente dublagem, dialógos muito bem elaborados e história fascinantes. O jogo só deixa a desejar na jogabilidade , visto que são poucos comandos de ataque, o que torna um pouco repetitivo as vezes, mas é um jogo obrigatório para todo fã da Marvel. Excelente jogo para todas as plataformas.

    Awesome game that seemed to come from knowhere. Great story, watching the team grow as you progress through the game is great fun. Combat is alot better than I expected after you get most of your abilities. The Writing is great throughout with a few laugh out loud moments. If you like the mcu Guardian's of the galaxy you should definitely play this game.

    What a great game! Funny at times and truly an amazing story. This game is probably the only game I actually liked playing this whole year. The story just kept pulling me back in and the gameplay was really fun even tho just like everyone else says: I wish that you could control the rest of the guardians but that wasn't a huge deal to me after the first Chapter.     I’m surprised by how good this game is. The performances are top notch. At no point did I feel like comparing the characters to the movie and I’m in love with all the characters all over again. Great work by the devs.

    Just beat GotG. Very enjoyable game. I still am not high on the combat, but the story and characters were really fun. They did a great job capturing the funness of the good Marvel movies.

    Wow, i did not expect this to be such a good game. The gameplay is certainly fun but maybe a bit too chaotic.
    Tho, story, the blabbering, the atmosphere and the music are insanly good. Oh and also it good a decent lenght of 15 hours with replayability cause of some intresting dialouge options

    A very pleasant surprise from Guardians of the Galaxy. Story is fantastic and the characters are just as loveable as their mcu counterparts. The gameplay is simple, but fun and exploring the different worlds was so much fun! The only downfall is the combat can be repetitive after playing for 20-25 hours. Would be a nice option in a sequel to switch the team leader in combat.

    Guardians of the Galaxy has an excellent story with strong character development accompanied by a fantastic soundtrack. The narrative is moving and filled with a masterful blend of seriousness and humor. There are several laugh out loud moments and several tear jerker moments. The combat is fun and plays smoothly. Overall, this exceeded expectations and is one of the best new titles of 2021.

Guardians of the Galaxy oozes with personality, sticking with that merry band of misfits well and creating amazing connections between all of them. The combat is a little simplistic as well as the upgrade system, but it really starts to pick up the more abilities you upgrade, and it was insanely fun to combine all of the Guardian's abilities, syncing them together with the correct items to do large amounts of damage to one heavy enemy of lay waste to a bunch of smaller enemies. The level design is excellent and the soundtrack, while horrendous for streamers with all the copyrighted music, has great choices. I think the biggest flaw of the game is that the mechanics of the game are really too simple, and there isn't a whole lot of depth despite the almost DMC-style of ranking system after every battle. You don't really get combos with melee or your guns, and the main way of showing style is how you combine and use your team's abilities. Overall you can tell this game had much more flavor and personality in comparison to Avengers, and doens't feel nearly as generic. It is fresh and fun, and I'm happy because there is probably going to be young kids playing this game and absolutely loving it. That, and no microtransactions plus a NG+ mode means I'll probably do another playthrough soon.… Expand

    Great game, finally some single player that is just fun to play. Interesting plot, fantastic combat and the graphic looks really good too. Looking forward to more games from this studio.

    At lot of love went into this game! Animations and storytelling are top notch. Had an absolute blast with this game and if there was a little more exploration and the ability to play as the other guardians, this would have been a 10 for me! Highly recommend this one

    Above and beyond expectations. Didn’t pick it up when I saw it wasn’t Chris Pratt. Thought it was a knockoff money grab. I was wrong! Great gameplay, story, sound, voice acting, visuals and everything. Couldn’t put it down once I started.

    After the Avangers game and Spider man: Miles Morales my expectations were... to say they were low would be a immense understatement. Since I am a big fan of the GOTG movies I still gave it a try. And I am really amazed. They absolutely captured the chaotic and crazy humor and atmosphere of the movies. The grafics on the PS5 are top tier, the planets are rich in detail and very appealingAfter the Avangers game and Spider man: Miles Morales my expectations were... to say they were low would be a immense understatement. The soundtrack is like in the movies a masterpiece. The characters and the context is more based on the comics but movies fans like I still will understand the most. Gamora for me is even a lot better than in the movies + I absolutely love the space lama. The decission system gives it a high replay value. Please a DLC or a Part 2 and more Marvel games as long as they are like this one.… Expand

    An epic adventure and one of the rare beacons of single-player games in all the puddle of **** online games. You will spend awesome 20-25 hours on very good and funny dialogs, cool story and soundtrack. I am loving this game. Though, personally, the "fighting gameplay" is not that interesting.

    Near perfect! I was super excited to play, and darn the anticipation was worth it. I experienced some bugs but not game breaking...like the slide towards the end...but I only dinged it a point for some plot convenience. Some things just happened to push the story...but still darn good. Wish I could keep playing for the first time...but it is over. Hope there is a sequel

    Pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed this game. The characters were very well written. All the actors did an exceptional job. Had some really awesome locations with really good level design. Some of my favorite parts were just chilling on the Milano listening to all the interactions. And for the love of God, keep the fridge closed!

    Combat is challenging enough where it’s not boring and the story is incredible. Really awesome experience. This was my first game on PS5. All the characters have similar personalities from the movie characters but are different enough to where it doesn’t feel copied.

    After Avengers game i lost hope on this one and i didn't buy it because i felt it would be the same , and now after a year i finally got it and i have to say this is flarkin' amazing.everything about this game is great!! Story, voice acting , gameplay. You'll never get bored at all. It's a super fun single player game that you have to try!

    This is an amazing story game. The story is really good and the length of the game is also perfect. The graphics are stunning and the game has a lot of detail. Just a bit disappointed that the characters are not the same as in the movies, but I know why they had to do it.

    Je crois que ce jeu n'est pas un succès commercial et c'est dommage.
    Le jeu est vraiment cool, les dialogues sont incroyables, les personnages sont attachants, l'hstoire est sympa à suivre et les musics parleront à tous les fans des années 80.

    So much better than how Marvel Avengers was approached ! Absolutely loved the combat and the story, Edios Monteral did a fantastic job on this one and if they make a sequel I’m fully onboard:)

    I feel like Guardians is gonna suprise alot of people. It wasn't heavily advertised so they didn't overhype it. The gameplay is fun. The combat feels smooth and is fun messing with the abilities. The dialogue and voice acting is so on point with what they would say in the movies. And the fact that they took the time and spent the money to put in all those licensed classic rock songs showsI feel like Guardians is gonna suprise alot of people.     You play as Star Lord through out the galaxy and adventure that embark on with your team. You are tied to just playing as star lord but can command the other guardians to do certain actions in and out of combat, now I never thought this concept would work to its full potential, but it does work better then any other game I could think of with this type of game play especially in battle. In combat you feel like a general on a battle field commanding your soldiers to unleash a devastating attack while you are distracting them with your blasters which unfortunately in this game feel like the weakest weapon in the game unless you are unloading a special attack, but none the less they do work. Combat at times can feel a little chaotic but its a good thing that works in this game. Each combat scenario you do will give you a grade at the end with points that allows you to unlock more abilities for each guardian. One very unique thing in combat that I never got tired was the huddle system where if you were losing a battle you could do a football huddle with the other guardians and boost morale in the battle, then an amazing 80’s song would play which amped you the player and your team up to win the battle

    While you are not in combat you are on your ship the Milano talking with the guardians finding out back stories, upgrading Star Lord Specific abilities from currency or tech pieces that you find from the places and planets you visit. When you are on planets and not in combat the games feels very familiar I would easily compare it to Naughty Dogs Uncharted from the exploration, collecting costumes and logs to sliding down a mountain side and having to jump at the last minute to make it to the next cliff before plummeting to your ultimate death.

    The Soundtrack is one thing I want to talk about in this game it is by far one of the best licensed soundtracks when it comes to video games for myself I would easily put this soundtrack right up there with Mafia 3. When it battle there is nothing greater then listening to the final countdown by Europe or I need a hero by Bonnie Tyler which I always associate with the movie Footloose. The game is filled with lots of 80’s rock and pop hits which is very cool and nice to see because what would Guardians Of The Galaxy be without the awesome licensed music.

    Each Guardian is just like how they are portrayed in the movies, Star Lord is his comical witty self, Gamora is quiet but deadly, Drax is funny but on a path of revenge, Groot can only say one sentence and yup you guess it “ I am Groot”, Rocket is the furious potty mouth raccoon every one knows and loves & I would not have them any other way.

    Guardians Of The Galaxy is way more than I expected I went into this game blind and with no expectations but I loved every moment and I highly recommend for everyone to pick this game up at some point or another. I give Guardians of the Galaxy a 9/10.

    GotG has a lot of heart and soul, which has been missing from other Marvel misadventures in video games. The game play is solid, but it shines in the dialogue and the vistas. Give it a go.

    Of the minuses, only bugs. Sometimes you had to reload the checkpoint due to the fact that your partner was stuck and he was not sent, in battle he was not, it was not possible to use his abilities.

    And so an excellent game, awesome music, a worthy plot.

The very first thing I want to mention is the tone is very fitting to the GOTG style; it is funny and charismatic. The gameplay is slightly above average and the sound is awesome.     From the beginning till the end the game is pure fun. Despite some minor issues and specific combat system it's one of the greatest games of 2021. Decent graphics, awesome storytelling and characters, the game manages to capture your attention right from the start and does not overwhelm or bore you in the process. Totally recommended!

    This game was amazing. sure there are still a few kinks to work out but overall it was a very enjoyable experience. the combat was really fun and all of the conversations/voice lines were really funny. I don't think I have ever clipped a game as much as this one. i highly recommend you play this game. Square Enix really made up for the abomination avengers game. very well done.

Had some strange difficulty spikes here and there, but nothing insurmountable, and the combat doesn't really open up until the second half when you unlock more of the team's abilities.     Guardians of the Galaxy is the Mass Effect Andromeda we wanted. The space setting, the interaction with the characters (crew), the style of combat and the gaming experience in general is a better version of a Mass Effect game we wanted; add the awesome music and the absurd jokes of the characters and you got your self a blast of an experience.

    Great game! Really fun to play, good story and really fun characters and dialogues. Sometimes its fun to just take a short break from gaming and just listen to them fight/ discuss some random stuff. There are some bugs present, but nevertheless an awsome game!

    Easily one of the best super hero games and a great game in general. Really the only issue I had was occasionally enemies would go out of bounds stopping progress but the game had good enough checkpoint that it didn't matter

    Gameplay wise some people may not be into it too much. But for me, walking around, looking at the scenery and listening to the Guardians, I was satisfied. Combat can be very chaotic, however I played it on very easy, since I was there for the story and experience.
    Great thing about difficulty is that you have so many parametets to set. You can make it (combat) as difficult or easy as you want it to be.

    All in all, for all Guardians (and Marvel) fans out there, this is a fantastic storytelling game, a must have for the fan. Great!

    Since I became familiar with the Guardians, I am loving them. It also pleases me that they haven't got a bad game yet, would also recommend 'playing' the Telltale series. I really, really hope that there is a sequel to this game!    … Expand

    Amazing game. Top notch story with links to the actual / current MCU. Combat system could have been more deep but hey that's how I like it. Length of the game was totally fine. Music was amazing, so thrilled to huddle up :) Will play it again for sure :)

    If there are any bad things to name than it’s no open world game. It’s like a walkthrough movie with some hidden secrets and adventures. BUT the dialogs are great and very funny. Every steps you make through the game is different and new. Great atmosphere and storytelling. If you want to have a playable marvel movie with a great story buy that game you won’t be disappointed

    This game is fun and beautiful to look at. The story is the real draw though. I had never read the comic or seen the movies before I played this. I ended up watching the movie after finishing the game because I wanted more.

    Excellent game, with great general and detailed story about the characters. The graphics are very beautiful. The gameplay is average, nothing special, but fun enough. It's not a 10, because I found several bugs, but nothing that spoils the experience.

    Guardians of Galaxy are the real blast that Marvel fans needed after more than mediocre Avengers. The “worst” part of the game is a mere fact, that you are not able to enjoy every single comment in the background and enjoy very well written characters.

    The story is entertaining, and it features characters from the Marvel universe that haven't yet surfaced in the movies, such as Fin Fang Foom, Lady Hellbender and the Nova Corps. Add in the requisite humor and self-deprecation and an eclectic killer soundtrack, and you get one of the most enjoyable games of the year.
