    Typical Mary Sue story all the woman are stunning and amazing all the men are fool and brutes.
    The 2020s are hilarious, these devs put breast physics on DRAX but made Gamora flat as a surfboard..Got keep their overlord Anita Sarkesian happy and desexualise those gal's..     Another modern game padded out with mindless walking around looking at stuff. Combat was fun for a short period, but quickly becomes repetative with all the usual cookie cutter loot and leveling systems you see everywhere.
    I've heard a lot of people liked the dialogue, but there were people that liked Death stranding dialogue..Both games were cringe and safe..Play the og San Andreas or Dragon age , those games had good dialogue.    … Expand

Its hold this menu button choose ability. Change character hold menu button choose ability and so on then release. See how long they last.

    Completely boring and lacklustre, Arkham Series remains the only good iteration of superhero games. Gameplay too simplistic, better off watching movies instead of this.

    The game has potential but it squanders it by being a churning repetition factory.

    It also features incredibly poor optimization and needs way too much system resources for the visuals it puts out. Boring story, uninteresting characters, hammy "comedy". Avengers 2.0 in every sense. It might be an improvement but the source is still garbage. So its polishingaturd to a shine.     This game should be renamed Marvel's Star-Lord, because you can't even play with the other Guardians of the Galaxy. You can only command them with Star-Lord. The gameplay is boring and repetitive. It feels like a re-skinned Marvel's Avengers. I appreciate the licensed tracks in this game. But I would rather the developers spend that money on actually improving the gameplay, instead ofThis game should be renamed Marvel's Star-Lord, because you can't even play with the other Guardians of the Galaxy.     There is no multiplayer. So once you beat the story, this game will go back to the shelf and collect dust. Charging $60 for a game with no replay value is a cash grab. And the greedy developers had the audacity to charge $60 for half of the game when Marvel's Avengers had both the singleplayer and the multiplayer co-op for $60. I recommend you get this game when it drops to $10 or wait until it is free on PS Plus.    … Expand

    Unskippable dialog and cut scenes. This design decision kills the flow of the early game. I is really frustrating. I don't understand why some video games want to stop me from PLAYING the video game.

    Guardians of the Galaxy hardly makes the requirements for being an actual game.
    It has good characters, story and humor until the second third of the game when the story diverts to incoherent nonsense and it takes the humor down with itself as well.
    As of gameplay, combat resembles 1990's Tomb Raider. But Tomb Raider had more to itself. It was more about puzzles, climbing and    Guardians of the Galaxy hardly makes the requirements for being an actual game.

    As of gameplay, combat resembles 1990's Tomb Raider. But Tomb Raider had more to itself. It was more about puzzles, climbing and platforming. And that was 25 years ago. Guardians offer just walking and decision making with the same impact as Horizon Forbidden West's decisions do. None.

    Rispettando i requisiti minimi fa fatica a girare con freeze, importanti frame drop arrivando quasi a bloccarsi, avviando la gestione attività si vedono dei picchi nell'uso della CPU, quindi ogni volta che inizia a bloccarsi bisogna passare alla gestione attività e il gioco torna a funzionare normalmente, ben ottimizzato.
    La trama non si collega in alcun modo ai film e non ho    Pessimo.

    Well another "film" instead of a game. Linear, boring, always talking characters... No open world.
    No gameplay at all for me.. With games like Horizon, RDR2, God of War, Elden Ring how can people be seduced by trash like this ones.. in comparison it's 0 against 10. Don't get me wrong, it's a very good FILM, but it's not a GAME, where u can live in a world.

    Looks great but the handholding utterly ruins it. at times it pretty much plays itself and it's littered with QTE's. The space battles are pitiful, it's almost on rails and it's like 'babies first space game'. GotG is great but this game is a mammoth disappointment indeed.

    Left a few points for the effort, but the movement sucks, the combat was bad. and the 'banter' was annoying. Repetitive, and I stopped after a few hours.

I thought I would hate playing only as star lord but the gameplay mechanic of calling on the other guardians was fresh and different, which I appreciated. Overall, a solid game. Wouldn't buy it at full    genuinely had a great time playing this game. I recommend playing it on a harder difficulty as the boss fights are a bit easy.

    game has a great story and characters. It's way better then Avengers. I liked the combat system but some people won't. I hope Square Enix makes this kind of games more often.

    I genuinely have no idea what people see in this game, I can only assume that the Marvel or GotG branding is carrying it. This game is one of the most unfun, uninteresting things I've played in ages. The gameplay boils down to holding the trigger and pressing a button when an ability is ready.

    The one thing I will give this game is that it looks incredible, and the writing can be genuinely good at times. The conversations amongst the guardians during missions is some of the most natural dialogue I've heard in a game. But this is completely ruined and wasted by almost all dialogue being cut off by: entering a new scene, accidentally interacting with another object or walking to far.

    A lot of the meaningful moments are also not earned by this game. If this was a stand-alone game and we didn't already know the characters, it would seem like some of the most half-arsed story telling, but it just about scrapes by because we all know who the Guardians are by now.

    Another major issue with the game is its animations, which is a big deal when your dfealing with what is essentially an interactive story game. The dead eyes during conversations, and weird faux-realism face twitches, it reminds me of Until Dawn, which while good for its time don't get me wrong, was years ago. Even just jumping, your characteer literally appears to teleport into the air and fall, rather than jump. Little things like this throughout the game really ruin any sense of presence in the world while you're controlling star lord.

    Last thing I'll mention, the puzzles. The non-combat parts of gameplay are essentially a LEGO game. And again, I love the old LEGO games but come on, they really couldn't have thought of anything more interesting? It's basically a matter of 'shoot the thing with the right bullet' or 'Tap the right character on same thing you've done 20 other times'. There's no gameplay, no skill, no solving, nothing interesting whatsoever.

    Honestly haven't stopped playing a game before finishing in a long time due to such utter boredom and I can't understand the overly high praise.    … Expand

    This game is not good for its price buy at $10 or free. I dont think this game is linear and its not really fun for that. Story is there but we have the movie storys. So didnt need another stroy and the game studio is nah we dont want them around any longer,

    Disgusting developers with their own scanning system. The scan with the r2 button does not work for me. The shooting works, the scanner does not. I can't get any further along the plot than the beginning of chapter 1! Everyone who faces this problem is advised to "wait for a fix". Was the game even tested before the release?!

Esse jogo tinha tudo para virar um excelente RPG de mundo aberto: poderia explorar planetas, enfrentar chefes tops e secreto neles, etc. Mas ao invés disso criou um jogo linear chato, enfandonho e clichê.     Terrible gameplay and unacceptable amount of bugs that ruined the experience. I started to play at hard difficulty but switched to easy half way through the game because the bugs just made it impossible to master it at that difficulty. If you prefer good gameplay and epic boss battles like in souls games then you will be disappointed. Too much repetition and rehashing of the enemies makeTerrible gameplay and unacceptable amount of bugs that ruined the experience. As a game, objectively this is a terrible game. Yea it’s massive, but in terms of variety it’s worse than the games from the 90s. The main gameloop is just terrible. The piloting game loop is bad too. I disagree with the reviews completely and feel like this was a waste of my time and money as I trusted the reviews when buying this game. I can’t believe such a terrible game received such high reviews! I think most other reviewers simply rate it high because it’s guardians of the galaxy and they overlook the fact that the gameplay is bad and buggy. I completed the game in January 2022 and all these bugs that ruin the experience are all still there! No updates to fix it! Unbelievable! This ain’t Sekiro folks, that’s for sure!     Nice Story, but the gameplay is bad and there are many bugs on PS5. The game worth 15$, but not a penny more! My girlfriend has ps plus premium, so it was free for me.

    Je me suis forcé à le finir, je ne trouve pas le jeu très amusant. Le gameplay est vraiment raté avec des combats nullissimes et une exploration désagréable. L'histoire n'est pas intéressante et vraiment oubliable. Mis à part les musiques qui sont cools, je n'ai pas aimé Les Gardiens de la Galaxie.

    This game is so overrated, it’s buggy, feels unfinished, boring sim Tory, repetitive, boring combat.
    I very rarely leave games unfinished and this is one of them.
    +1 for humor.

    Guardians of Galaxy are the real blast that Marvel fans needed after more than mediocre Avengers. The “worst” part of the game is a mere fact, that you are not able to enjoy every single comment in the background and enjoy very well written characters.

    The story is entertaining, and it features characters from the Marvel universe that haven't yet surfaced in the movies, such as Fin Fang Foom, Lady Hellbender and the Nova Corps. Add in the requisite humor and self-deprecation and an eclectic killer soundtrack, and you get one of the most enjoyable games of the year.
