    So this is the first time I’ve written a review on here but I thought it was needed. Many games now a days I feel people expect to much, and I give them all a chance. I have to say I’ve boughten every new game on the PS5 & Xbox series X and I have not been impressed with any of them until now. Guardians of the Galaxy’s story line is great, the gameplay is fun and it’s the first game inSo this is the first time I’ve written a review on here but I thought it was needed. I have to say I’ve boughten every new game on the PS5 & Xbox series X and I have not been impressed with any of them until now. Guardians of the Galaxy’s story line is great, the gameplay is fun and it’s the first game in while that I couldn’t wait to get home from work and play. I recommend this game to anyone, and give square Enix a big high five for the work they’ve created. We needed this for the next gen consoles .… Expand

    Binge played it, the combat is a little repetitive but the lore and just amount of Easter eggs, story, fun, and honestly just amazing content in this game makes it a must play for Marvel fans

    Went into this with such low expectations Based on how Avengers was, and only bought it on sale because I didn’t have anything else. Wow I was surprised. Action was awesome, story was great and even way better than the movies imho, acting was great, even small choices had funny or surprising consciousnesses. Basically everything I wanted from a great action adventure game.

    Easily my favorite game of the year. Perfect amount of combat and story. The story is also actually compelling which makes you want to advance it. I think this game is the definition of a perfect game.

    As a fan of the guardians I love this game. If I wasn't a fan I maybe would've give it a 9. The banter between all the characters is awesome

Which proves you can’t ever go by Metacritic scores to judge a game. This is a must grab game to own, enjoy and do lots of replays for years to come. The detail work that went into making the game is one that IIt’s clearly the Best Single Campaign game of 2021 with BEST GRAPHICS FIDELITY and PERFORMANCE on Xbox Series X console.     I can't find the words to express my general delight in this game! Everything about it is great, from the Guardians themselves and their humor to the great music, and a special kudos to the folks at Eidos Montreal for creating the Star-Lord Band! Love you and your game!

    Great game, from the start to the end. You want to know what will happen every step of the way, thé Story is very well written, the rythm is good. It is not very long but regarding the Story and the pace this is not a problem. I recommend to everyone looking for à good game with à great Story, lot of humor.

    I don't usually write reviews, but I ve just registered here to say that it's the best game, which I played for the last 2 years and maybe one of the best single-player experience ever! That's just WOW! Characters, dialogues, the main plot with all its twists, music and even gameplay. Honestly, I doubted that the gameplay would be interesting enough but now I understand that its simplicityI don't usually write reviews, but I ve just registered here to say that it's the best game, which I played for the last 2 years and maybe one of the best single-player experience ever!     Maybe you'll think I'm exaggerating, but it's the best Marvel game to date.

    Every scene is carefully prepared, the dialogues are great. The personalities of the characters are incredible.

    As you play the game, you form an incredible bond with the characters.

    This game Eidos Montreal's best job.

    Spectacular story telling, awesome badass moments, fun and engaging combat, insanely nostalgic and great music, and some of the best graphics i’ve ever seen. I almost didn’t get this because of how they butchered the avengers game, but I can 100% say they’ve redeemed themselves!

    This game deserve the 10, not Elden Ring.
    The combat might feel a little chunky compared to the graphic and the story but these last 2 are an absolute BLAST!
    A games that surely deserve MORE .
    One of the best games of the last decade.

    The OST it's amazing and the Guardians of the Galaxy Vibes are incredible.

    Junto a Spiderman de PS4-PS5 uno de los mejores juegos en el universo de Marvel jamás creado! Me encantó este juego, la historia es sensacional, los escenarios tremendos, si te gusto la pelicula este juego te va a maravillar, tiene un humor 10/10 y los personajes son tremendos, uno de mis juegos favoritos de PS5 sin dudas, lo recomiendo!     Me ha parecido un juegazo de los que hacía tiempo que no jugaba. A nivel argumental es una historia original, entretenida muy en la linea de guardianes de la galaxia. El doblaje al castellano es espectacular, a nivel jugable es dinámico y responde con suavidad. Muy recomendable

    Absolutely fantastic! The music, the visuals, the story, , the music, the dialogues, and the soul - it is all there! Did I mention the music?.. You know that this is THE game when the opening sequence features a fully fledged metal album made specially for this, a mention of Blue Öyster Cult, and the first password being 0451. It just made me smile and laugh non stop.

    What magnificent work the developers have done in this game. They managed to transport all the particularity and vibe of the universe of comics and movies. All the while I felt immersed in this amazing universe, really an excellent experience.

    Graphics & artstyle are top notch. Voice acting truly the best in a video game from my experience. The crew are really funny and relatable. Gameplay is also nice, mostly thanks to the combos and well when the music hits during the fight... goosebumps.
    Unfortunately didn't get the critics acclaim that it deserves but believe me I've played most    One of the best game I have ever played.

    One of the best games that I played in a long time, I wasn’t a big fan of the guardians of the galaxy but this game made me really like them, the gameplay is one of the best, it really gives you the feel like the old AAA+ games, and any gamer that play this game can feel that heart has been put in to the making of this game.

    Very good game. It's so refreshing to play a more linear and focused story driven game after all the bland open world games that Ubisoft and their likes keep pushing out. I was very sceptical after the Avengers failure, but I'm glad it turned out really well.

    The main feature of this game is the interaction among the Guardians. They argue and crack jokes just like in the movies. I am amazed at how fresh the writing is over so many hours of gameplay. This is like all of the best banter of the Mass Effect series in one game. I hope this creative team survives Square Enix’s sale of studios to Embracer.

    The look and feel of the game is straight out the comic book. The roster and some of the story elements are borrowed from the movies, but the colorful nature of the planets and NPCs are all comic book. The alien planets are some of the most diverse and creative that I have ever seen. Combat could be better. You play as Star Lord and direct your companions to use their special abilities. Star Lord has his guns, a melee attack, and his one abilities. Star Lord can also have his team “huddle up”. Choose the right pep talk and your team’s abilities refresh almost as soon as they use them. This makes every battle winnable eventually and that is kind of the point. This should all be familiar to Final Fantasy fans. Big difference here, though, is that the only upgrades are unlocking abilities. There are no levels and no need for grinding. This game is committed to maximum fun from start to finish.

    Full disclosure: this through was part of my PS+ Extra collection. I wish I had bought it last Holiday season instead of Deathloop. “Guardians of the Galaxy” is a guaranteed good time all the time. All-in-all, “Guardians of the Galaxy is a fantasy experience that you will love. Combat could be more interesting. I do give credit to Square Enix for trying new things with the combat and progression system. More people should play this.    … Expand

    This game has gone way above expectations. After the mediocrity of the Avengers game, many people were skeptical and so they should be. This game is amazing.     This game is super gorgeous and so much fun! You never get bored because The Guardians always keep you entertained with their dialogues otherwise you'll be in awe with the locations you visit.

    Much better than the disastrous Marvel's Avengers. This game is highly recommended!

    Well this is certainly not what I've expected from the game. This has been the best Marvel game I've played so far. The story and characters are superb, it's like you're looking at the next Guardians of the Galaxy movie. The gameplay is a lot of action and it may be the only issue I have - it might seem repetitive for some people. I had tons of fun. I finished the game in approximately 20 hours.

    This game is really fun! The character interaction with each other and their jokes are funny. The gameplay is a different take from both FF7 remake and Avengers and I really like it. Solid fun and humor keeps hooked.

    Really enjoyable game. Couldn't put it down, beat it in a single weekend. Battles were a lot of fun and beautiful. OUTSTANDING soundtrack (can't stress this enough) and genuinely funny. A welcome break from the MCU watered down story telling.

    Downside is the limited replayability / spaceship controls.

    Really solid Marvel game with a surprisingly great story that dives deep into each characters. The game starts slow but really ramps up after the first act with tons of secrets to explore. The combat I felt was basic but still fun if you can get into it. Overall it was a solid experience and I hope to have a sequel its way better than their previous title Marvels Avengers.

    Guardians of Galaxy are the real blast that Marvel fans needed after more than mediocre Avengers. The “worst” part of the game is a mere fact, that you are not able to enjoy every single comment in the background and enjoy very well written characters.

    The story is entertaining, and it features characters from the Marvel universe that haven't yet surfaced in the movies, such as Fin Fang Foom, Lady Hellbender and the Nova Corps. Add in the requisite humor and self-deprecation and an eclectic killer soundtrack, and you get one of the most enjoyable games of the year.
