    Lots of fun with friends if you are an Avengers fan. The game had a rocky initial release last year, but it’s running smoothly on PS5 now. The added content has been great.

    WOW and this game plays like a PS5 game!!! I am late to the party and never played this on PS4 and why did this game get such a low score!?!?! It's freakin fantastic!!! The story, the graphics, the ray tracing, the battles.....THIS IS AN AVENGERS GAME!!! I am blown away and can't state how great the campaign is. Maybe this was never suppose to be a PS4 game? This is the best $30 bucks IWOW and this game plays like a PS5 game!!! I am late to the party and never played this on PS4 and why did this game get such a low score!?!?! It's freakin fantastic!!! The story, the graphics, the ray tracing, the battles.....THIS IS AN AVENGERS GAME!!! I am blown away and can't state how great the campaign is. Maybe this was never suppose to be a PS4 game?     I haven’t completed the game yet, I played this on Ps4 and tbh, it was a a bit of a let down, once i got the upgrade for ps5, I was really impressed, graphics, gameplay, everything! (I chose ‘highest performance’). Im not a big fan of games playing 30fps, im more of a 60fps person. All in all, The game is great, its getting the Battlefront 2 treatment. Get it. It is great!

    Te game it's rising again, it was a good idea to pospose it 'til now, it doesn't have the problems it has before, that's very good, plus the cree DLC ofrece Hawkeye it's awesome

    A definitive version of the game with some remaining flaws. The campaign is now replayable, the rooster is bigger and some of the most annoying things are fixed. The devs have shown that they do care about their game. It's a good chance to check the game out.

There has been a host of quality of life improvements since then. Though Kate Bishop and Hawkeye's expansions are short they give a reason to come back and continue the grind to push your heroes level and gear scores up. Especially if you have a friend or two to play with. The biggest reason I had stopped playing the first time was the horrendous load times. Short mission + load times = not enough fun. Now that loads are quick the down time between gameplay is vastly reduced and therefore keeps the pace up and the fun.… Expand

    Good story, good graphic and frame rate on ps5, beautiful gameplay and great character design.. just a little bit repetitive but still an awesome avengers game .

    Great campaign, story and gameplay is a lot of fun, black panther is an amazing free story update. Multiplayer is its shortfall.

    Este juego solo debe de ser jugado en nextgen por la cantidad de acción, es excelente a 60 fps, las campañas son muy buenas y entretenidas los personajes están hechos con mucho cariño , su gran error es que como juego de servicio se vuelve monótono

    i bought the deluxe edition on ps4 though so it sucks to see that the deluxe edition add-ons bonuses of the game wasn't transfered to the next gen version but it's a fun game to play with friends if your an avengers fan otherwise i wouldn't recommend this game the game audio cuts off entirely the entire sound disappears in the campaign sometimes part of the effects and sound disappears noti bought the deluxe edition on ps4 though so it sucks to see that the deluxe edition add-ons bonuses of the game wasn't transfered to the next gen version but it's a fun game to play with friends if your an avengers fan otherwise i wouldn't recommend this game the game audio cuts off entirely the entire sound disappears in the campaign sometimes part of the effects and sound disappears not to mention the game decides to randomly freeze when you open the menu to change your armor set the game has broken hit ditection and hitboxes are poorly designed the game had a bad launch it runs ok on the PS5 the performance mode checkerboard rendering sacrifice picture quality which is not good the added content is great the 3d audio is bad it just goes to loud sound and quite sound the entire audio of the game is bad and glitchy and the multiplayer it's where the main focus of this game is but it fells short since mostly it's a reptitive grind that doesn't feel that much fun to play except for boss battles the missions online are kinda of the same the story it's not good it's not that bad either it could have been better if you added Thanos as the main villain infinity stones and made him playable as well and followed the story of avengers end game the brutal difficulty of this game is just artifical difficulty the enemy becomes a health spunge with increased power level which means they will always be higher level than you and increased damage and defences that one or two shots you if you do one single mistake voice actors are good graphics are good boss fights are okay but yeah that's about it if you wanna play an avengers game with your friends and your an avengers fan pick this up on a discount… Expand

    Full disclosure that I played this in May of 2023, after the service end date. So a lot of the problems a lot of other reviews and people in general have with this game, I didn't personally deal with. I had everything unlocked from the beginning and basically just played through the story plus a few additional missions so I could fully try every character. Most characters feel pretty similar, fitting one of several archetypes. The story is good and the developers clearly knew the source material very well. The voice acting is great and the game itself, while sometimes a bit repetitive, is generally quite fun. There's some good humor, as you'd expect out of these types of Marvel games.

    However, a big weak point is still a lot of the games as as service stuff, even after the service end date. The different stats and menus and gear systems is an interesting idea but poorly implemented and can be VERY confusing and barely matters anyway. It can be confusing to figure out what you are supposed to do next in the story and there is certainly a bit of dialogue that needs work.

    There's a lot of simple fun to be had with this game. I think Marvel fans will enjoy it for what it is, but most people should probably stay away. It's not a horrible game, but it's also far from great. If you can pick it up for twenty dollars or less, you'd probably be happy with the purchase.    … Expand

    Multiplayer kısmı tamamen farklı bir oyun. Grind'li ve tekrara dayalı bir looter/shooter/hack & slash bir oyun. Oyun ilk çıktığında multi kısmındaki content azdi ve bug'lar yüzünden oldukça sıkıntılıydı. Bu sorunlar oyuncu sayısını olumsuz etkiledi ve diğer oyuncular ile girilmesi gereken modlar sorun olmaya başladı.

    Bu sorunlar dışında karakter animasyonları ve skill'leri oldukça başarılı. Özellikle, (şahsi fikrim) oyun tarzıma uygun olduğu için Romanoff ile oynamak çok zevkli. Multi'nin bir diğer sıkıntısıda karakterlerin skill'leri level arkasına kilitli olarak gelmesi. Karakter ile oynamaya zevk almaya başlamak için önce level'leyip skill'lerini açmak gerekiyor. Bu da sabırsız oyuncular için sıkıntılı bir durum.

    Sonuç olarak campaign modu ortalama üstü, end-game content'i grind'dan sıkılmayan oyuncular için zevkli ve ortalama üstü. Ama grind ve build yapmaktan sıkılan oyuncular için tam bir işkence.    … Expand

    Habe gestern nun Marvel's Avengers beendet - also die Singleplayer-Kampagne.

    Nachdem ich eigentlich dachte, ich schaue nur mal kurz rein, da ich nicht viel gutes über das Spiel gehört habe und ich davon ausging, dass das Ganze auf den Multiplayer getrimmt ist, war ich positiv überrascht, dass das Ganze auch eine Single-Player-Kampagne hatte. Grafisch konnte mich der Titel überzeugen und am Anfang mit der jungen Avengers-Anwärterin rumlaufen und das Thema entdecke etc, das hat schon Stimmung mit sich gebracht. Leider flacht das Ganze im Verlauf dann immer weiter ab und man bekommt immer mal wieder die Multiplayer-Sparte und den langweilige Geloote vor die Nase gesetzt, was man großteils aber bei Seite liegen lassen kann.

    Für Multiplayer-Muffel wie mich und zu einem günstigen Preis geschossen, kann ich euch empfehlen, sich den Single-Player mal anzuschauen. Ich habe etwa 8-9 Stunden gebraucht.    … Expand

    Heroes are good. Games-as-a-service is bad. The folks at Square Enix must have been patting themselves on the back when the first saw the in game marketplace for Marvel's Avengers. They had the licensed characters, the rinse-and-repeat gameplay, and the microtransactions. With all of that, did they need compelling gameplay or bug fixes? Surely the players would be satisfied enough with theHeroes are good. Games-as-a-service is bad. Surely the players would be satisfied enough with the opportunity to buy useless skins for a game they will quickly tire of playing and then quit forever.

    First the good. Playing as the heroes is fun, super fun! Each hero (except the two archers) has unique moves and animations. Ms. Marvel is especially well animated with here body size changing powers. Forget Anthem. Fly as the real Iron Man! The mechanics for a super hero beat-em-up are well done and we should all applaud Crystal Dynamics for making this happen.

    Now the bad. Marvel has a deep roster of villains and goons for the heroes to fight. So it is a big let down that all we get are three marquee villains and a bunch of robots. Everywhere you, everywhere you turn, everywhere you look, robots. I've read the Avengers comics. I've seen the movies. The Avengers often fight wave after wave of grunts. They've fought aliens, ogres, demons, lava men, medieval knights, and the hordes of Hades. Defeating robots should be the first chapter of this saga, not the entire game. Even Destiny, a game more people have quit than any game in history, a game that started selling guns for dollars, a game that scored so low on release that some publications stopped publishing review scores, a game Activision dropped, even Destiny had the decency to launch with three alien races to fight. (And then of course Destiny reskinned those alien races for the next 7 years, but at least Destiny still charts on Steam.) Lesson to the wise, when you launch a games-as-a-service, include some service.

    More bad. Some of the enemy mechanics stink. There are glitches all over the place like falling through the floor or enemies popping in and out of existence. What irks me are the bad design decisions. Enemies will deliver area of effect damage that will stagger your hero. A few of these in quick succession becomes an unbeatable combo. Some attacks do enough damage to one-shot kill a hero and your hero will fall down and die for seemingly no reason. As with all of these games-as-a-service, the solution to difficulty is to make every enemy a damage sponge. In the Black Panther expansion, many weapons will make the screen go dark and you will have no idea what is happening. A better studio would have spotted these issues long before release.

    Finally, games-as-a-service is like a cancer that is killing gaming as we know it. My solution is to never buy micro-transactions. Of course, just by playing these games I give life to what I hate. Some "whale" with hundreds of dollars sunk into skins can enjoy quick matchmaking because "freeloaders" like myself are there for the matchmaking server. So I should stop playing the game entirely and instead spend my time and money on single player titles with strong narrative elements and darling indie games with novel mechanics. Except the Avengers game is fun to play through the main story and co-op missions are fun to play with my kids or strangers on-line. (None of my friends play this game, something you may relate with).

    Full disclosure, I spent $16 on this game in a Black Friday sale. Honestly, the game should be free-to-play. Rather than fix bugs or add diversity of enemies, the developers made more skins and upgrade material. Rather than make a must play game in service of fans, the developers fine tuned the store to encourage you to buy more skins. I have no empathy for the loss of revenue this game represents for the studio or the publisher. They saw what happened to Destiny, The Division, Fallout '76, and Anthem, and Star Wars Battlefront II and they pushed forward with games-as-a-service anyway. They saw the success of Spider-Man on PS4 and never said to themselves, "If we make a great game with these characters, people will buy it!".

    All-in-all, this game is not a bad budget title. Astoundingly enough, the developer is adding more playable content, trying to fix the progression system, and adding free skins for playing. This is a Hail Mary play that may not work. People will probably play for free skins and then quit anyway. So if you ever want to enjoy this game, jump in now before a death spiral kills it. (The death spiral is when people quit because they think people aren't playing. And then as matchmaking stops working, more people quit. That leads to more people quitting. Then the studio decides they don't want to pay for the servers so they pull the plug. This is how these kinds of games die.)    … Expand

    Не так уж и плохо, как все говорят. После Стражей Галактики, конечно, выглядит немного убого, но то после Стражей. А так вполне развлекательная сюжетная кампания, в начале за героев играть не интересно, но со временем, когда тебя дают за них покатать побольше, привыкается и играется вполне неплохо. А вот дальше в игре делать-то и нечего...Не так уж и плохо, как все говорят. После Стражей Галактики, конечно, выглядит немного убого, но то после Стражей. А так вполне развлекательная сюжетная кампания, в начале за героев играть не интересно, но со временем, когда тебя дают за них покатать побольше, привыкается и играется вполне неплохо.     Graphically it looks great. The story is, without a doubt, the best part about it. However, its gameplay structure and lackluster content buries what could have been a great experience.

    In my opinion, Marvel Avengers is an okay game with a good story. The graphics are impressive, but I found the gameplay to be repetitive. Additionally, I had issues with the controls, which felt clunky. Overall, it's a mixed experience, and I would suggest considering multiple reviews before making a decision of buying it.

    Marvel´s Avengers is interesting in the first 3 hours or 4 hours of gameplay while you play the story part of Kamala Khan.
    After that, overall, it´s a complete mess.
    Either ps4 or ps5 version, it´s the same janky game.

    This was supposed to have SO much potential, but it fell completely flat HARD due to the likes of the gameplay being repetitive, the use of micro transactions, and being an example of false advertising.

    A Marvel game on a new console, with all the licenses and support of Marvel and a all of the main characters. What could go wrong. Greed that's what.
    This game had every chance of being a phenomenal hit, but it got greedy. The gameplay is fun for around 5 hours, then you've essentially done everything the game has to offer.

    There is no doubt that Marvel's Avengers did improve a lot in its new presentation for next-gen consoles. Crystal Dynamics had a long time to develop a more solid version when it comes to technical aspects such as graphics and performance, however, the game remains the same: entertaining, but repetitive, with a so-so multiplayer and an enjoyable story.

    While the content shortage and cross-play challenges still exist, performance problems are eliminated, and bugs almost entirely eradicated by the next-gen console launch of The Avengers. Stability issues remain, but with the promise of a more consistent launch of content, the future is a little bit brighter for The Avengers.
