I really wanted to like it because the concept and type is exactly of my alley but after 4 hour in I was just dissappointed and completely indifferent with it. Continued for a while but it just got to the point where I knew I really didnt want to go back to it

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Not only that, you find the game for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and these every time you convince people to contribute content that has no soul and a good story and hit, and cutscreen that feels like we're in destiny 2. Games that are no longer better are the opposite if Years and dlc) unchanged missions, and the work you put out for the next generation of console platforms as well and with graphics, and the work you brought in a very cool character from comics. (And lots and how the game is conducted) All these things are straw that broke the camel's back. Let me agree on it this way. You failed and their game is terribly uninteresting to me that it is online I am not interested in it is a service game I am not interested in the game being blown up with microtroxies. No, what's interesting is when you'll realize that this game is already damaging eye boxes. I do not understand.

    P.S
Why why do you find Chinese on mcu costumes and even Kevin Paige one day stood up and said you did it and gave you a copyright strike.
(And the last fact is that it is this. The main character is Kamla. If it's already a game that has the word avengers written on it and you wanted the plot to be about Kamla at all, then do not make a game about Kamla called you MS Marvel.)

Awful game in every way possible. Horrible story and voice acting, everything feels bad in this game. This is perfect example how to ruin great characters and make most generic video game possible. This is peak humor of 2020s gaming.

Turned out to be one of the most misleading titles in gaming history. First off it's not an avengers game till you assemble them half way through the game. Wish it would of been a great story but was terrible.

If you ever think of a generic superherogame, here it is. But crystal dynamics still managed to make this an empty shell with marvel brand glued to it. It's just bad. Buy gotg if you want a good marvel game.

I just finished the main campaign and a few missions of Kate Bishop so that I give a proper chance to this sorry excuse of a game. It is horrible. At first I was, nah, power through it. Well I did, and it never gets fun. The intro is probably the most thought after aspect of the whole game along with the last mission, but the in between feels like an afterthought. I understand it was made to be a mmo, but this is just NOT FUN! The controls are weird, the story is bland, the quests are utterly mindnumbingly boring, some capture the flag and secure areas mmo elements on a single player game that is, to begin with, not fun. I played it through the PS extra subscription, but buying this? No, no way. Save your time and money. I feel so dissappointed. Just play Miles Morales instead. Expand

The problem is that Crystal Dynamics wanted to make a live service game without knowing how to actually make it. And because they designed it as a GaaS, there is no skill in this game's combat system, unlike the 2 games developed by Insomniac Games. You just have to deal damage to sponges, unleash powers and ultimates, and heal yourself, just like you would if you were playing a MMO. This design decision contradicts the very nature of superheroes. Can you imagine, for example, the Hulk being kicked in the ass by puny robots one quarter his size and them not being smashed with one hit? Or Thor swinging Mjolnir into human enemies and them still being alive after the hit? That's what we see in this game.

I managed to play just the intro (which is easily the best part of the game) and a couple early missions where I had to deal with waves of spawning and re-spawning enemies in enclosed arenas for an eternity. Then I had enough. And that little girl Kamala Khan aka Miss Marvel is actually very annoying, on top of being a forced diversity/woke/SJW BS.

On PS5 there are 2 modes to play the game, performance (60 fps with dynamic checkerboard 4K) and quality (30 fps with native 4K and some graphical improvements such as more destruction). As far as I know there is no Ray Tracing at all. At least loading times are greatly reduced compared with PS4.

Yeah, I hate MMOs and loot-based games such as Destiny and The Division. But I'm pretty sure even people who like these genres would really dislike Marvel's Avengers. And I'm surprised we got a GaaS game by Square Enix instead of EA or Activision. I just wish Disney had allowed Sony to make an Avengers game.

One simple rule for every game developers here.

DO NOT put Free2Play mechanics in a full priced game.
I know it can be a little confusing but, Free2Play mechanics are in fact made for Free2Play games.

Nothing good about this game, I gave it so many chances but seriously worst piece of sh*t I've ever seen in video games. Maybe as a mobile free to play/pay to win but actually no just no. Hope this developer gets extinct along with all developers of this sort. What a piece of sh*t unbelievably bad

Terrible port. Sony shouldn´t be working with square anymore. The frames goes down every time you go to the city.

One of the better upgrades we’ve seen can’t prevent the feeling that this delayed update is still lacking in content, and it’s now more of a concern than ever. [Issue#1, p.92]

There is no doubt that Marvel's Avengers did improve a lot in its new presentation for next-gen consoles. Crystal Dynamics had a long time to develop a more solid version when it comes to technical aspects such as graphics and performance, however, the game remains the same: entertaining, but repetitive, with a so-so multiplayer and an enjoyable story.

While the content shortage and cross-play challenges still exist, performance problems are eliminated, and bugs almost entirely eradicated by the next-gen console launch of The Avengers. Stability issues remain, but with the promise of a more consistent launch of content, the future is a little bit brighter for The Avengers.
