I've played about 10 games already and I love it! I haven't noticed one glitch yet in any of the games I've played! The gameplay also feels very smooth and franchise is the deepest it's been since Madden 12. I also love that mini games are back, and there's a ton of them, some new some old and improved upon. This is the most fun I've had playing Madden in a very long time!

It is solid game despite bugs glitches in gameplay and franchise mode. Menu is slow. Commentary is dull. Graphic is great especially players model

While I wish more was added as well as replacing the Frostbite Engine with a better engine, Madden NFL 24 plays up to it's strength with the new improvements that can help the series see a new long term plan ahead.

I love the game best madden in 6 years. Love playing the mini games again, like the way the gameplay feels new and challenging, no longer can you run the same plays over and over and get away with it. If your a office player like my self and want some tough challenging but rewarding game play sliders I recommend looking up sim gaming network. Also I love the mix up of cpu calls on offense.I love the game best madden in 6 years. Amazing game. Way better than last year's version. Always haters but it's a very solid game.

I don't get the hatred. People know what this game is before they buy it, so the bad reviews are likely from bitter former Madden fans who refuse to buy the game and then give it zeroes and ones every year on here, just because EA still has the exclusive NFL license. I'll concede that aspect is annoying, and I wish there were more competition out there for football simulation, but theseI don't get the hatred. People know what this game is before they buy it, so the bad reviews are likely from bitter former Madden fans who refuse to buy the game and then give it zeroes and ones every year on here, just because EA still has the exclusive NFL license. I'll concede that aspect is annoying, and I wish there were more competition out there for football simulation, but these extreme reviews don't help anyone who likes Madden and is on the fence about buying the new one. So I'll give you an honest 8 of 10 rundown:

    Pros:
-Updated player animations during and after the play. Tackling, blocking and after the whistle activity is definitely closer to real life
-Gameplay on PS5 is solid and feels really good to play, and it seems they finally made All-Pro difficulty a challenge again
-No crashes, visual glitches, or game breaking bugs that I've discovered so far.
-Franchise mode has updated some of the team relocation options; including adding new cities, and the freedom to choose any team concept for any city, but still lacks true customization and innovation. Overall it's a plus, but one with an asterisk
-Haptic feedback on the Dualsense controller is second to none, and a truly nice feeling experience
    -Mini games have returned
-Rosters have been updated (just kidding, that was for the trolls)

    Cons:
-As described, franchise mode team relocation is still very limited in terms of customization and has you still choosing presets, with a little more freedom than we've had in the last decade. Still this is a big miss, since Maddens from 15 years ago let you choose all your colors, uniform designs, type in your own team name, create your stadiums etc
-The menu UI is still slow and clunky. I never understood why it was this way, especially now on the SSD of a PS5
-For many people it may appear to be the same game, especially for those who don't bother playing it, or even care about football to begin with. I think hating EA and automatically writing the game off will definitely help it look the same for some people. It plays really well though
-Ultimate team is still something they push in the game, and I think that mode has always been crap, and an attempt to pressure someone into mictrotransactions. But being someone who has always ignored Ultimate team, it doesn't bother me that much. Old school Madden players just want Franchise mode
-Superstar mode is a "new" concept in this year's Madden, taking the place of the incredibly boring Face of the Franchise mode we've had the last few years. Problem with Superstar mode is that it's almost as equally uninteresting, and no matter how you make your created player look, they still speak like a gen-Z kid from the ghetto in cutscenes, without any way of changing your voice or body language. Nice try, but I don't come to Madden for little interactive cutscene movies with response choices while my character says things like "lit" and "fam". If I want to roleplay as a young quarterback, I'd like to do so as a version of myself, not be forced into what EA's singular idea of who an athlete is

I haven't tried the online multiplayer matchmaking yet, but I'm sure it's the same as last year's which would be a good thing since it was mostly stable and straight-forward. Overall, it's a good game. It's not a perfect 10, but I didn't anticipate that when I paid the $70. That's why these 0 and 1 reviews are clearly from people who didn't pay the $70. They were never going to buy it, but they will certainly still review the game. Funny how that happens.

I like this years version! It has huge gameplay improvements compared to last year. The AI is so much better now, finally! It calls Audibles before plays, tries to read your defense. With the proper slider sets which can be found online makes this game the best version so far. I just play franchise and sometimes an online game with a buddy. no Ultimate Team. The player faces are really really into detail. On Field all good as well and with the recent patch nice new crowd chants.

The bad - presentation went a step back. shorter intros before game, less in game data - still old Superbowl presentation -.-

All in all - great year for football!

    Summary, I enjoy this game.
My biggest issue with the game is still the lack of create-a-team. You could give me a game with a robust CAT feature and that alone would make me rather content. I play mostly offline franchise and Superstar mode. So I'm not a competitive gamer and I don't carry any baggage of those types of players. I don't think yearly releases are conducive for development

Madden NFL 24 is an excellent product of the evolution of American football, which is celebrating its second decade. If you are a fan of this sport and only watched it on television, now is the perfect moment to try your hand at the game.

Madden NFL 24 does provide a pretty good simulation of NFL football when you’re on the field. The animations and AI are improved over last year, and the games are fun and challenging at the higher difficulty levels. I just wish that everything around the on-field action was overhauled. Ultimate Team needs to be revamped, and should look to Madden NFL Mobile for inspiration. The mini-games need to be reworked, if not totally removed. And, please build an interface that’s fast, easy to navigate, and gets you pumped to play some football.

Madden NFL 24 is an improved on-field product, but everything else leaves a lot to be desired.
