I personally enjoyed the game, I liked everything, graphics, I liked the combat, I liked the world, etc. My only problem is, the story is a little bit too short, like I finished The Phantom Menace in one day. Overall I really enjoyed the game, it is like one of those games that bring nostalgia.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Expand

Excellent game. Perfectly captures the magic of the original Lego games yet mixes in new mechanics that make it still fresh and fun. There are bugs but it’s a big game which is expected.

For a lego game it blows me away, the graphics are breathtaking mixed with the same classic lego humor is perfect. The amount of content in the game is insane. They did a good job of making new missions to fully tell the story of each of the films. My only issue atm would be the menu system is sometimes confusing since it's so many menus.

I feel very disappointed. Missions mostly are boring and repetitive and just badly designed. the 1st episode of the game is the best example for that. If you want to see some for yourself, just write 'lego star wars bugs' in the youtube. Retro mode and mumble mode are a big misunderstanding. These modes suck. Open world is good, but not great (for me, a lot of people seem to enjoy it very much). Also i don`t really like the new features like this RPG styled upgrades system and the new character selection screen is garbage. But I need to admit that i really enjoyed most of the cutscenes, and lots of them made me laugh like never before. Expand

Graphics look really good and the combat is a lot more enjoyable however, the levels are so boring now they've all been shortened or replaced with these big hub areas with repetitive puzzles and boring missions.

A great game expands upon the old games in everyway with the only real problem being the challenges in every level

If you've played a Lego game, you've played them all. That said, a few complaints I've had in the past are much better here. I don't always enjoy Lego humor, but this one did get me to laugh, and if you want to keep it on, the voice acting is quite good. You can never go wrong on a Star Wars soundtrack either. All in all, it's still Lego, and that is to say, it's still just dumb fun. Expand

This game is super boring. Most of the story missions are just walking behind the characters, that's the whole mission.

Answer: 75 characters is between 10 words and 19 words with spaces included in the character count. If spaces are not included in the character count, then 75 characters is between 12 words and 25 words.

Ludicrous game breaking bugs (no fix from TT Games) that will lock your character selections after you’ve completed all story levels, halting any further progression toward any other collectibles. Thumbs down.

I didn't play much of previous lego games before this one, but I had heard it was a good multiplayer game. To be fair, it is, but it's very simple.

I was able to get some enjoyment out of this game with my wife, but I largely found myself bored.

It is especially fun with a 2nd player. the music and VA, in SW fashion, are top notch of course. i cant find a flaw, perhaps save points would have been nice. at the same time there is a lot of repetition and grinding and the game stays pretty simple/isnt revolutionary admittedly, so i cant give it more than a 84/100 - especially sine i believe playing the game alone would not be as fun, and it is limited by star wars in terms of adult themes and super powers (the natural downside of staying faithful to the source material) Expand

It contains everything that makes gamers love the Lego Star Wars games, while at the same time showing the authors' desire to push the franchise further. Some of it worked, some of it didn't, but if this sympathetic will holds out, the next game will no doubt turn out great. [Issue#319]

For longtime fans of Lego Star Wars, there’s enough of an improvement to the tried and tested formula to warrant some intrigue, if only to see how far the series has come along.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is a hit for both Star Wars and LEGO fans. It mixes the amazing universe that George Lucas developed for movies/TV with fun and games that are a trademark of the video game franchise. The storyline is really funny, gameplay is pretty friendly and you will probably love it if you enjoy Jedi stuff.
