    I really wanted to love this game, but unfortunately, it's just average/mediocre. Most of the levels feel barebones and short, and The Complete Saga's levels were almost entirely superior to this. It feels like the game prioritised quantity over quality, which is incredibly unfortunate. So many incredible parts of the older games were cut, just to make room for endless open-world hubI really wanted to love this game, but unfortunately, it's just average/mediocre. But visually the game is pretty, there's a ton of characters with unique playstyles, and it's clear the devs put a ton of heart and work into the game, so I do appreciate that. Sadly I think this game just isn't finished, and needed more development time.… Expand

    O jogo é legal igual aos outros jogos da lego, mas em termo de história dos filmes ele realmente não é tão bom, ele ignora muitos eventos que acontecem no filme, que na versão de ps2 tem e que nesse não tem, e também não tem como montar o próprio personagem igual todos os jogos da lego, realmente triste.

    It is a great change that tt games has had for the creation of lego video games, and this is without a doubt the best video game development, giving honor to the lego games of yesteryear and the star wars saga, such as its playability, and many hours of very entertaining games, being very fresh and authentic, a great title that is recommended at any age.

    Unfortunately, that's where it ends for this game. The media reviews showed promise and gave me confidence in what I was going to experience.
    However, the games main issue is its gameplay. Although improved over older Lego Starwars games with a 3rd Person shooter style and more combo driven gameplay for lightsaber wielders, the worlds and "Levels" within each episode are just lacklustre.
    Each "Episode" is broken down to only 5 main levels, broken up with large vast hub worlds chained together, which seem lacking in atmosphere. These hub worlds are nothing more than areas to spread the collectables in and on first play through will simply be a vast area you run through to hopefully find some action in your next story based mission.
    As for the 5 Story based missions in each episode; these mostly consist of a repetitive boss style lightsaber fight or a ship based level with a quick and easy to complete objective.

    Overall, I am disappointed with the core gameplay of a game that had so much potential if it stuck closer to the original formula. However the charm, humour and number of collectables in the game do justify it as a buy, but maybe later down the line.    … Expand

    Because of the “reimagination” of the Lego formula you will sometimes forget that you’re even playing a Lego game, which isn’t bad.     I give it a 4/10 because I was able to access only about two thirds of the game thanks to the infamous Maz Kanata glitch. I would have rated it 7/10 if I got to play the whole thing, but alas. I waited for a month for a fix, the developer shares no updates regarding the patch, so… whatever.

    while they delivered incredible graphics and new game play mechanics this game did not deliver. I had more fun with the Complete saga. They replaced a lot of cool levels with cut scenes and you just run around 80 percent of the time to go to another cut scene. Each level does not have the level designs like the complete saga had. A lot of Forced Humor, no pun intended. This game is to handwhile they delivered incredible graphics and new game play mechanics this game did not deliver. I had more fun with the Complete saga. They replaced a lot of cool levels with cut scenes and you just run around 80 percent of the time to go to another cut scene. Each level does not have the level designs like the complete saga had. A lot of Forced Humor, no pun intended. This game is to hand holdy. The AI bots are dumb and don't even put up a challenge making it incredibly boring. There are no risks in this game where you have to start over at the beginning. On top of that a lot of glitches, but what game these days don't have those.… Expand

    The game is terribly optimized for cooperative play on ps5. Unplayable DOF and screen tearing issues. Paid $70 and i’m really disappointed because I was looking forward to playing this with my girlfriend. Until lego acknowledges they’re handling it/fix it i’m keeping this at 0 to raise awareness.

Blow up a kiber comet, participate in a ship fight, and shoot down a bounty hunter ship.     Absolutely amazing and nostalgic game. It’s a 9.5/10. 3 things I hope they add/fix; allies fighting more in combat, more enemies throughout the worlds and online co-op. If they did that, it would be a 10/10.

A true tribute to the saga. There's a lesson for other companies that make Star Wars games, right EA? That's how it's done, respecting the grandeur of Star Wars, putting the soul of the universe createdI didn't expect to be so surprised by the quality of this game. But they decided to give you full access to the camera; bar some puzzle elements which have fixed points (which makes no sense it's 2022 come on) and those parts as well as jumping to platforms from ledges (there's a lot of ledges, more so than you'd think from a lego game). not enjoyable.

    You can't set your own waypoints, the maps are badly laid out for you. You're overloaded with collectables with no real clue what to do until like you finish an episode and have had time to read the 28434 pages of content a droid with a ? throws at you.

    Just badly directed, badly constructed (heh) and not much fun to play. Which is a shame, some of the comedy is quite good, it's mostly voiced (no mumblings although you can turn those on) and it manages to shine away Anakin's genocidal tenacities in a such good propaganda way; the 3rd Reich would have applauded the effort.

    They have a remade combo fight system which sounds impressive until you play it and wish it didn't exist. A lot of the controls for this are a buggy mess, for example if you hold down the L2 on the PS5, it's supposed to Aim and the game tells you to press R2 to throw the lightsaber at the enemy. Except. It doesn't half the time. It's easier just to press R2 to throw it although if you press it more than once the game gets confused and sometimes doesn't throw it. Try it. shake your head. It's just a buggy joke of a system.

    If you like star wars, lego and enjoyed collecting every collectable in donkey kong 64 and want more of the same. This is the game for you. If you enjoyed the previous lego games and like star wars... i may give it a pass.

    If you only like lego or only like star wars. avoid. And just watch the films, you'll have way more fun.. than whatever this was supposed to be    … Expand

    The Skywalker Saga improves upon every aspect of what a LEGO Star Wars game should be. The player now has more control than ever over their character with improved lightsaber mechanics and over the shoulder 3rd person shooting. What is perhaps most impressive is the improved story mode which now tells a complete cohesive story through a combination of levels and open world exploration. I am taking a point off, however, for the fact that you cannot replay the open world sections of the story without starting a brand new game. This means that if I want to replay a certain section of Return of the Jedi that was in between levels, I have to start a new game and replay through Episode IV and Episode V to get to that section.… Expand

Полная хронология, обилие забавных и смешных моментов, хорошая озвучка. И самое главно, игру ХОЧЕТСЯ пройти. Лично для меня, игры это посиделки, я прошёл всего 2 игры, на остальные игры просто хочется забить и удалить, но не эту. После просмотра фильма, ты можешь зайти на ту же локацию и чательно ее изучить, интересно открывать новых персонажей и взаимодействовать с другими. Как например Победить Дарта Вейдера за Энакина. He jugado a la franquicia de lego Star Wars como el que más, y este juego no está a la altura de los clásicos ni por asomo. He jugado a la franquicia de lego Star Wars como el que más, y este juego no está a la altura de los clásicos ni por asomo. Este se anunciaba y se hablaba en las entrevistas como el juego definitivo de Lego Star Wars y tras un retraso de casi 2 años, está claro que sus aspiraciones estaban altísimas y tuvieron que retrasarlo porque no pudieron cumplirlas en absoluto. No es un desastre como cyberpunk, pero es una cáscara de lo que podría haber sido.

    Positivos:

    + Visualmente se ve genial
    +Buen sonido y doblaje
    +"Buen" sistema de combate
    +Muchos personajes
    +Sistema de mejora de clases interesante

    Negativos:

    -No tiene HUB, o sea, las misiones es todo lo que vas a tener al encender el juego.
    -No tiene ni tendrá (confirmado) personalización de personaje.
    -Significativamente más pequeño y corto que mi punto de comparación, Lego Star Wars 3 (juego de 2011).
    -Se anuncia como lo que no es, un mundo abierto. Casi todas las misiones secundarias son absolutas chorradas hechas para que dure más el juego. Los mundos son pequeñísimos, no exploras el mundo, exploras 4 secciones de tamaño mediano si llega y recicladas de la historia y ale, ese es tu mundo abierto. En absoluto.
    -La galaxia está totalmente de relleno, encuentros aleatorios (sencillísimos/aka aburridos) de vez en cuando y un par de """"carreras"""". Otro elemento al que se le dio bombo en su creación y que está totalmente vacío.
    -Opción nula de diferentes modos de juego.
    -La dificultad es nula sin opción de modificarla, lo cual hace que el combate no sirva más que para mashear el botón.
    -Menús difíciles de navegar, confusos y visualmente saturantes.
    -Sobresaturación constante de la interfaz.
    -La negación total a la opción de creación de personaje da a entender que el juego no recibirá actualizaciones de contenido fuera de packs de personajes y las pocas misiones que estos puedan ofrecer.
    -(opinión personal) aburridísimo, todo es super monótono y sencillo. La historia en los niveles avanza rapidísimo. El gameplay muchas veces se siente fatal, la cámara hace lo que quiere después de que uses la fuerza o estés apuntando. Una experiencia muy desagradable desde un punto de vista físico, me dolía la cabeza.

    Estoy seguro de que sabría decir más contras objetivos, pero creo que se entiende el punto. Para mi está claro que esto fue un proyecto excesivamente ambicioso que se quedó a medio cocer por el Covid y nunca se llegó a poder retomar al 100%. Para mi su nota real sería un 4/3, pero le pongo un 0 para al menos bajarle un poco la media porque de verdad que la gente parece que no haya jugado ni un solo juego de la franquicia en su vida, o la nostalgia haya consumido el más mínimo ápice de criterio que puedan tener.     I am big fan of Lego games and played nearly every single one. And I have to say it is rather disappointing. Most of game the consists of just running through the hub to reach a boring level. Majority of the time you don't even know if you are in a level or a hub world. Hub worlds have some good puzzles and stuff but overall it is quite empty. The developers tried to redeem themselves by saying that they added over 300 characters or so. I don't give two hoots if they give us over a million characters.     Very over rated. If you enjoy being in a boring lifeless overworld running from marker to marker, you will love this. If you are actually looking for a quality Lego game, go pick up Marvel Super Heroes again

Now for the reason I'm giving it a 0.Tt did a fair bit of false advertising with this game, especially regarding content like the venators and capital ships. Venators are not in the game. Hub worlds don't change based on your era. Online multiplayer was cut and the character customizer, a staple feature of lego video games at this point, was canned. Why they would decide to make such a decision is beyond me, and this review is being used to draw attention to this. Ground vehicles cannot be bought and summoned, and you are stuck resorting to micro ships for transport (actually, you can't even use these on the ground. Why?)

    And some planets don't even have proper hubs to explore, even though they have levels set there.

    TT games falsely advertised the presence of venators for this game. Where are they TT?

    At the end of the day, we need to call TT out for not addressing the false advertising that they have done with this game, and hopefully down the line they will address these criticisms with patches and updates.    … Expand

    No. It's nauseatingly compressed and hurried. You get a 15 minutes worth of a movie in a few seconds long cutscene and then a couple minutes of running from point A to point B. And then pacing of levels is horrific. They're either long and empty or way too short than should be. Creators of this have very little understanding of "tempo" thing.

    Is LSW:TSW at least funny?

    Well, THAT it is sometimes. But between funny gags you'll get dozens minutes of boring running and shooting and a chop-suey of references to your favoutire movies.

    Also, LSW:TSW is beautiful BUT there are questionable design choices. Studs feel lighter and cheaper, and collect harder. Also Kylo Ren's lightsaber... Why'd they have to downgrade it from LSW:TFA?? Yes it is true to real-life LEGOs but it looks worse?? What is achieved with that?

    In short, LSW:TSW is the definition of Disney's Star Wars. It isn't worth your time. Skip.    … Expand

    Tan genial como abrumador, La trilogia de precuelas es la mas disfrutable debido la gran cantidad de duelos, aunque no baja el tono en las demas.
    Aunque de primeras parece bastante infantil, el juego toma la dificultad del completismo, para poder llegar a cumplir ese cien por cien ha de tener mucha habilidad y paciencia, que es donde radica la dificultad

    This is the ultimate Lego game and a must play for any Star Wars fan. There is so much love and attention to detail put into this game I was astounded. My only real issue with the game is some of the levels can be a little long and restrictive in movement as you have to follow NPC's around. But other than that this game was awesome.     Personally, I think it's a little too easy but considering it's designed for children, I'm not too suprised. The voice acting and graphics both hold up very nicely, and the nostalgia makes replaying the Lego Star Wars games even better

The levels do not contain as many Easter eggs and fun nods to the movies like the old games, as well as puzzles seemingly being non existent.The vehicle levels are the only parts that feel like a huge improvement, they are genuinely fun; but only make up a small part. While I do enjoy the cutscenes and dialogue the overuse of the slapstick comedy is off putting in contrast to the balance in the old games. Jokes are not as clever as they are just goofy. There’s probably a lot more that could be said but I’ll finish by saying, while I realise the goal was never to be exactly like the old games and in some cases comparisons are unfair as they are very different games, they are very similar titles and those who wished for a experience close to what they had back from the originals will need to be ready to expect something completely different, whether they like it or not is up them, personally it wasn’t for me.… Expand

Then the characters ability, they are all the same, also a category for character sucks, in old games every character did a thing, here you take a Hero and it's the same as another Hero or you take a Sith and does the same things as another sith.     Its okay, but several not so smart decisions from the devs nakes this game tedious. For example, in coop switching characters can teleport you to the other side of the map. Also the menu structure is cumbersome

For the value alone this gets a 10/10. its an 8 because I did have some issues with the game, crashing occasionally and not really doing anything new. but for kids it's a 10/10

    So much fun, a great comfort food type game, really stunning on the ps5, I’m 35 and enjoy a simple story based experience that allows for ample amounts of screwing off along the way. It is so much fun exploring the backgrounds of iconic scenes in between the iconic scenes. As someone who went back and forth on if I should buy or not, ultimately I am happy I did.

    Optisch das schönste Lego spiel was ich bis jetzt gespielt habe ansonsten so ziehmlich alles beim altern die einzelnen Levels sind zihemlich kurz habe auch nur die main story gspielt und war nach ca 18 stunden mit allen 9 episoden durch die nebenquest hab ich garnicht gross gemacht da man für viele sachen nen bestimmten charackter mit der besagten Fähigkeit braucht

    So far, as of completing the first 8 episodes, I've had a complete blast playing this game. I have encountered few bugs apart from a black or white screen occasionally, prompting me to restart the game and resume very close to where I restarted. Lego Star Wars TSS is simply amazing and the sprawling environments are so captivating.

    I've played many different Lego Games, some Classic ones like the old star wars saga game, and some where they tried out new stuff and focused more on an open world like Star Wars tfa or Lego City Undercover.
    None have ever felt as boring to me as Skywalker Saga.
    Let's talk about why I loved most lego games so far.
    It all comes down to how you collect the games various collectibles and what kind of impact they have. Typically you would play the first few levels and come across a few collectibles that are locked behind an ability you do not yet have. Not being able to get them makes them feel valuable. There might be some you just can't get in Story Mode, for others you're missing the required ability entirely. And I think story mode is the really important thing here. You would only be able to access these collectibles once you decide to replay that section or come back to it after the story (if it was a locked Story sequence in a part of the open world).
    In Skywalker Saga you're never really locked into story mode for an area on your first visit. Yes, you're locked into story mode during story quests, but these take place in the same area you can freely roam before and after the story bit. So if you use codes or character packs to unlock various characters you're never locked out of getting a collectible, which makes collecting them feel arbitrary. If you don't, it quickly gets old running from marker to marker only to realize 75% are locked until you unlock a character from a new character class.
    The fact that most collectibles are insanely boring, both to get as well as what they do, just adds to that. In small levels you could have some actually secret collectibles. You just destroy random **** because it's totally doable to destroy everything in a linear level, and suddenly a '1/3' message pops up. In the open world you can't expect people to find that randomly. So it's marked on the map and you can see exactly where the objects are you need to destroy. And what do you unlock? 1/5 of a useless skill. The only worthwhile skills seem to be the ones that make you do stuff faster. Not the ones adding to your combat abilities. The collectibles just have you go running around the map from marker to marker. That means the discovery process is reversed. You don't go to a spot that looks interesting/like it has a secret. You go to the spot that is marked on the map. And now have to find the thing that's special about it, which can be frustrating if the actual interaction point is a few steps away from the collectible.
    And there's so much space! The amount of map you traverse vs the amount of story you play is completely ridiculous. You enter a new map, an entire city, do 2 quests that are probably just 'walk to the point where the next cutscene plays' and get told to move to a new planet. While the same map takes at least an hour to clear of secrets!

    Some other annoyances:
    • The characters actually talk now. Maybe some people like that, I do not. The option to turn voicelines into mumbling doesn't really help, cuz 1. the mumbling is weird, 2. the characters still behave like they're talking normally instead of the overexaggerated gestures and facial expressions of the previous (star wars) games that just where a different level of comedy. Maybe it's just that they didn't find the right balance of comedy and Star wars for the dialogue.
    • The unlockable cheats feel a lot more lame than in other games. They used to feel like you're breaking the game, now it feels like the game is balanced around them. We don't have invincibility, only an invincible GNK droid. And it seems like you need the stud multipliers to be able to afford all of the stuff you can buy, not like once you turn them on your money problems are fixed.
    • 2 player mode SUCKS. It takes all the rest of the enjoyment out of the game to play it in couch coop with splitscreen. The camera is way too close, if your screen is split vertically (which it will ALWAYS be since there's no dynamic split screen) your character is blocking like 1/2 of your view. There's friendly fire (which is a staple) but it's hard to avoid in this one. Try throwing objects at enemies with the force while your friend is fighting them with a lightsaber. And while doing so you'll notice the objects you're holding with the force go offscreen in splitscreen mode, because there's no rescaling, no thought put behind it. It just takes the middle part of the screen and puts it on one side to make space for another characters view, and that's all the work they put into coop.
    The reason I still gave a 6/10 despite all of this, is that it can still be moderately fun playing *in single player mode*. Tedious, yes. Gets boring fast, yes. Few things to look forward to, yes. But there's loads of characters, cool graphics, and a combat system that could make you feel badass.    … Expand

    Mountains of quests for every era, far and away one of their biggest rosters of all time, if not the biggest roster they've ever done.

    Tons of planets to explore, each of which are large and expansive with many different zones and areas.

    It never outstays it's welcome like a lot of other Lego games, main quests are quick and to the point, no convoluted puzzles that'll leave you scratching your head for like 20 minutes trying to figure out what to do.

    The voice-acting is a bit... off in places, but besides that it's phenomenal and done very well, made me and my nephew laugh very hard at points. My only other complaint is a personal one and that's that they didn't include more expanded universe content, only stuff from shows and movies, would've liked to see RC-1138 AKA Boss from Republic Commando, or Revan from KOTOR, since this may well be the very last Star Wars outing we'll see from TT it would have been great to see a lot of those characters.

    Either way, this turned out to be phenomenal, congrats to TT, and thank you for all the work you put in. The series you started on ended on the highest note possible.

    10/10 experience, even if you aren't a Star Wars fan, please pick it up, it's pure fun.    … Expand

    My first Lego game because I love Star Wars, but now I’m a fan of all Lego games. Fantastic game, so much to do. Surprisingly good visuals and they stayed so true to the Star Wars story that even so much dialogue is spot on. You won’t regret buying this game.

I did not play through all of it yet, but so far I like it.     Just not that great of a game, sorry to say. It has all the IP it needs, it has all the mechanics it needs, it has everything it needs; it just doesn't execute. Instead it becomes a point chaser, where you complete the same puzzles over and over and over again. Maybe it plays better for children but as an adult, just doesn't satisfy.

I did really enjoy the game and had a lot of fun playing it. It felt less like a lego game and more like a big budget video game in graphics, sound and gameplay.     This is my second LEGO game, first was Harry Potter and i have the same joy to Play this game. I expected from this game to be light and Simple with not many features inside. And damn! The game is pretty cool! After 6 hours what i can say more, graphics are beautifil, gameplay is pretty okay sometimes repetetive but i pretty enjoy it

    Brilliant game with great graphics and fun gameplay. Level design is a treat and boss battles are fantastically cinematic. One drawback is that there are soo many collectables in the open world which makes the larger planets become a big repetitive and boring.

    I went into this game hoping it would be similar to the complete saga only to find out the episodes are trimmed down to about an hour long. Even though it looks really nice and plays well, it comes up short for me. If you like exploring maps made up of Lego, then maybe this game is for you. If you want to relive the movies in Lego form, it's not.

    Game is alright, but if you are 18 yo or older, you might get bored quick.
    Game does not have all the objectives from previous Lego games.
    Game is a lot going from A to B and then back to A, and lots of cutscenes.

    This game was clearly a passion project for the developers. The level of detail and the amount of content is truly impressive. Playing the skywalker saga in 4K was truly a blessing. The graphics are amazing and it breaks the barriers of what it means to be a lego game. The game has the same witty charm that the original star wars saga had that we all grew up and loved. The characters are so expansive and impressed me with the detail. A lot of characters have completely different fighting styles from each other which makes you immersed in the game. I have spent many hours collecting different kyber-bricks on the many planets you are free to roam and explore.
    However, there are a few bugs and there have been times I have had to restart the game in frustration that the AI has broken, not allowing me to continue the story. The game has also crashed on me a few times through my playthrough which has made me slightly annoyed.

    Dieses Spiel war/ist sehr unterhaltsam und witzig, leider hat es manchmal das Risiko abzustützen oder hängenzubleiben.

    Dennoch habe ich es genossen und viel gelacht.

    Falls ihr die Story nochmal erleben wollt, oder das Spiel nicht spielen konntet, hier habe ich einen Game Movie für euch gemacht.

    Eu sempre fui fã dessa franquia, porém dessa vez eu consegui ver um jogo LEGO, realmente como um projeto grande e com bastante carinho no desenvolvimento do game, muito bem feito e diferente dos anteriores, e ocasionalmente bem divertido

    I like the game. It's fun and funny there is lots to do and many collectables . Performance and bugs are a slight issue but are easily fixed and easily fixable in patches I assume

Guns in this game are horrible I mean it's Lego Star wars they're never going to be good. Nothing happens in Galaxy mode or nothing interesting you just kind of a walk around and do **** for people I mean NPCs won't even attack you if you attack them first they're just kind of die. That basically means after you beat this game you beat the game and you're never going to play again because who the **** wants to go take **** yodel 5 hours to go kill a couple droids that die instantly because this game is for baby's. **** remember in the old Lego Star wars the complete saga where you got to fight your friend as Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan, they decided to up that by making your friend be R2D2 as you fight Anakin
    , Now you might be thinking well I could just go on free mode and **** do the same battle as Darth Vader and that would be cooler right. No **** you you have to be Obi-Wan if you like it or not every 5 seconds I will force you to be Obi-Wan and if you do not continue to be Obi-Wan I will actually just force you to be Obi-Wan. Yeah **** free play in this game. Sorry for the bad grammar metacritic doesn't see what I did wrong unless I **** commit several rituals

This game is a masterpiece(atleast what I played so far) The graphics look as if your moving real legos on your screen. Best of all, the game is fun.     This game is amazing and was certainly worth the wait. It's so big with so many things you can do. It's amazing for star wars fans and lego game fans alike. And I love both. I think this is the best lego and maybe even the best star wars game.

    It's been a long time since I've actually had fun in a video game and Lego Skywalker Saga is definitely FUN. It's an absolute must play as a star wars fan even if you have never played any Lego games.. and vica versa. The only gripe I have with the game is that getting the platinum trophy is going to be a MAJOR grind..

    The game itself is amazing and extremely fun with all of the areas to explore, along with some smaller open world like places. I feel as though this game has some.of the best space flight and space combat, mostly because it is very user friendly and I am a horrible pilot in other games. The one thing this game lacks though is online miltiplayer. I think if they add that it would be a 10.

    Banger of a lego game and is a massive nostalgia trip. They nailed a lot of the mechanics I just wish there was more combat activities to do after its all done. Can’t wait to see what they add!

    It contains everything that makes gamers love the Lego Star Wars games, while at the same time showing the authors' desire to push the franchise further. Some of it worked, some of it didn't, but if this sympathetic will holds out, the next game will no doubt turn out great. [Issue#319]

    LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is a hit for both Star Wars and LEGO fans. It mixes the amazing universe that George Lucas developed for movies/TV with fun and games that are a trademark of the video game franchise. The storyline is really funny, gameplay is pretty friendly and you will probably love it if you enjoy Jedi stuff.
