Jul 21, 20252024's Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was already one of the year's best games, delivering an incredibly immersive and engaging action-adventure that recaptured the magic of the iconic archaeologist's silver screen exploits. But thanks to noticeable visual and performance enhancements, including native 4K resolution, 60 frames-per-second performance, and advanced ray tracing – as well as some slick DualSense tricks – the PlayStation 5 and PS5 Pro versions now offer the title's definitive experience.
-
May 12, 2025The Great Circle is nothing short of being one of the greatest games ever created with a swashbuckling adventure, brilliant and innovative gameplay, jaw dropping visuals and audio design and score off the charts. All I can say is thank you so much to Machine Games and Bethesda; playing this game felt like taking a time capsule back to my childhood, sat by my dad watching Raiders with not a care in the world. Indiana Jones has found a new lease of life in video games and I’m confident this wont be the last I see of this iconic character.
-
Apr 14, 2025The visuals take full advantage of the PS5’s hardware, with ray tracing delivering breathtaking lighting and realistic detail. And if you’re playing on the PlayStation 5 Pro? Prepare for stunning native 4K resolution and buttery-smooth frame rates that make this an adventure for the ages. This also includes lightning-fast load times to the seamless SSD optimization, every aspect of the game is designed to keep you in the action.

Apr 14, 2025Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was a phenomenal video game when it was initially released on Xbox, and it’s only gotten better with this PS5 release. The same excellent foundations of stealth, exploration, and puzzle-solving remain as strong as they were the first time around, with the PS5 and PS5 Pro enhancing the experience further through the neat implementation of DualSense functionality and some additional visual enhancements that leave Indiana Jones and the Great Circle looking better than ever. Combat may still be a drag, but it’s not the main focus in any sense and is a minor blemish on an otherwise incredible experience. If this is what we can expect from Microsoft’s turn towards becoming a multiplatform behemoth, then the future looks very bright for Xbox games appearing on other platforms.
-
Apr 15, 2025Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is an absolute gem of a game and it shines brightest on the PS5. Yep, that feels weird to say since this game is made by team Green; but by leveraging the added tech the PlayStation 5 has the team made the game feel like it was made especially for it. All the work that MachineGames has put into it really made the game shine in a way that; well, it just can’t on the Xbox. If you have been waiting for the PS5 release then I am here to tell you that this game is going knock your socks off and I am not even on a PS5 Pro; I can only imagine how well it handles an adventure of this magnitude.

Apr 15, 2025Indiana Jones and the Great Circle from developer MachineGames and publisher Bethesda Softworks brings the Indiana Jones world to life with a great story and fantastically designed game.
-
Apr 14, 2025The PlayStation 5 version of Indiana Jones and the Grand Circle is a paragon of excellence. It’s visually impressive, offers solid technical performance, and provides genuine fun. It also maintains everything that was brilliant about the original release and stands out for its careful porting. A memorable game, now available to almost everyone. All that’s missing now is the Switch 2 version.
-
Apr 14, 2025A cinematic blockbuster playable and enjoyable from start to finish, with very few pauses, a rare attention to detail and an almost touching gameplay expertise. Indiana Jones fans will live a dream lasting 20 hours or more but even those who have never particularly loved the famous archaeologist have the opportunity to enjoy one of the best action-adventures of recent years.
-
Jul 23, 2025he Great Circle delivers the coolest and best Indiana Jones adventure in decades. Got a PS5 Pro? Then you’re in for the ultimate experience, if you ask us.
-
Apr 14, 2025The king of the popcorn action-adventure experience comes to PlayStation, and he does so in the grandest of ways.
-
May 27, 2025It’s an amazing adventure that feels more like Indiana Jones than the film series has in quite some time, which is definitely an accomplishment. Absolutely pick this one up, you won’t be disappointed.
-
May 5, 2025Indiana Jones and The Great Circle is a worthy addition to the Indiana Jones canon. Graphically stunning and so much to do, almost to a fault. You could tear through the storyline in short order but you’d be selling the game short. We had a little trouble with the fisticuffs but that’s more down to our crap timing. This is pretty much all you could hope for from an Indy game and grabs back the mantle from the Tomb Raider games with aplomb. Fantastic.
-
Apr 28, 2025Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is an excellent tribute to the franchise and also the best product the series has received since its original trilogy. With gameplay focused on exploration and melee combat, and an engaging narrative, the title is a must-play for both fans of the legendary archaeologist and enthusiasts of the adventure genre.
-
Apr 18, 2025Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is about as ideal of an Indiana Jones experience as you can hope for, and it's easily one of the best adaptations of a film franchise. It captures everything that made the best parts of the franchise shine, while avoiding the pitfalls and missteps of its weaker parts. It's a love letter to everyone's favorite whip-wielding, fedora-wearing adventurer, and the game shows why he still has a place in video games, even among the Nate Drakes and Lara Crofts. Only some slightly weak stealth elements bring down the game a tiny bit. It's a cliché, but ... well, this game belongs in a museum.
-
Apr 16, 2025The PS5 version of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is as impressive as its PC and Xbox counterparts—if not better. It stands out as one of the best action-adventure games in recent memory, with the iconic Indiana Jones himself serving as the perfect cherry on top.
-
Apr 16, 2025A brilliantly realised and atmospheric first person action game, that turns the spirit of Raiders of the Lost Ark into a fully-fledged adventure with role-playing trimmings.
-
Apr 14, 2025Indiana Jones and the Great Circle looks amazing on Sony consoles. A new opportunity to dive into an adventure you will never forget. A shinning jewel for the PS5 catalog.
-
Apr 14, 2025For long-time fans, it’s about the complete package, which is epic. It’s inspired me to rewatch the entire franchise — which only further endears the Great Circle — and kept me on the edge of my seat, glued to the expertly weaved story-into-gameplay structure. It’s a great adaptation by building gameplay into an elongated narrative that stays true to the character. The Great Circle is strictly for the fans, in all the right ways.
-
Apr 14, 2025The real question is: How does the PlayStation 5 port perform? As it turns out, quite flawlessly.
-
Apr 14, 2025Indiana Jones and the Great Circle arrived on PlayStation 5 just four months after its Xbox and PC release. With stealth-focused gameplay, FPS perspective, and DualSense support, it delivers an impressive adventure on Sony’s console as well.
-
Apr 14, 2025Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a finely crafted experience with an effortlessly charismatic lead, and some wonderfully exhilarating set-pieces.
-
Apr 14, 2025Indiana Jones and The Great Circle is, quite frankly, one of the best action-adventure games I’ve ever played. Microsoft’s multi-platform strategy may have initially appeared quite jarring to some, but it should be seen as a gift. MachineGames have crafted a first rate experience here. From its riveting puzzles to its sprawling exploration, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a treat to experience, and one that has been wonderfully enhanced with added immersion for the PlayStation audience. The more people that play this exceptional title, the better - and that’s exactly what’s now been made possible.
-
Apr 14, 2025MachnineGames delivers with this port of one of 2024's greatest games, and fixes some of the bugs that detracted from Indy's fantastic adventure the first time around. This is the definitive way to play Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on a console.
-
Apr 14, 2025Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a highly recommended experience for fans of the character and the action-adventure genre. Despite minor technical issues and inconsistent AI, the game stands out thanks to its strong narrative, excellent combat system, and exploration filled with intriguing secrets.
-
May 14, 2025Indiana Jones is back, and is looking for his own path away from other games of the genre. Focused on puzzles and exploration and with some moments of action and humor, it brings us a new adventure story with all the features that made the movies great.
-
Apr 14, 2025Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is one of the best adventures that the video game has given us in a long time. Despite not being a perfect game, what MachineGames leaves us is a work of great quality; which now receives interesting improvements in PS5 and PS5 Pro to boost its technical section.
-
Apr 14, 2025Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a faithful, fun, and surprisingly effective adventure. Machine Games succeeds by focusing on exploration, cinematic storytelling, and accessible puzzles rather than intense gunplay. The game impresses with iconic locations and an immersive soundtrack. Combat leans into stealth and melee, staying true to Indy’s scholarly nature. While pacing can slow down and puzzles feel overly simple, the experience remains authentic, offering around 20 hours of main story and up to 35 hours of total content. A journey that honors the legacy of the iconic hero and stands out in the genre.
-
Apr 24, 2025A great choice for fans of the franchise or adventure game lovers, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle delivers a very complete experience. Its journey around the world is great and well-constructed, full of twists, exciting fights, challenging puzzles and many other surprises. The technical level could be a little higher, but it does not compromise a must-have adventure for your library, no matter if it's on PC, Xbox or PlayStation.
-
Apr 18, 2025Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a new entry into the tomb raiding genre that takes its cues not from the games themselves that have come before, but the films of its namesake that originally inspired it all. This is the authentic Indy experience, immersing you in a new narrative adventure worthy of the legacy of those classic movies. It is so faithful to the source material that there are times little annoyances creep in. While those annoyances betray the game achieving perfection, they don't spoil an otherwise excellent experience overall. Any fan of Indiana Jones will be well rewarded giving this game a try.
-
Apr 15, 2025Indiana Jones and the Great Circle delivers both high calibre adventure, story and performance in spades, to the point it feels as though it’s wading into “uncharted territory” for its publisher. The decision to bop a Nazi should be a foregone conclusion, however the lack of balance in stealth and combat systems kept me in limbo, and left Indiana Jones and the Great Circle just a stone stele’s throw from true greatness.
-
Apr 14, 2025The PS5 version of Indiana Jones: The Great Circle perfectly embodies MachineGames' vision. With the distinctive features of the PS5, such as the DualSense controller's haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, players can physically experience core elements of the game like whip usage, combat, and artifact investigation. The unique sensory experience created through this new immersion brings a whole new level of enjoyment to the game.
-
Apr 14, 2025If you own an Xbox or a gaming PC, chances are you haven’t missed the chance to throw on a fedora and leather jacket—whip included—in digital form. But if all you have at home is a PlayStation 5, this is a golden opportunity to experience what’s likely one of the best stories featuring the American archaeologist. Enjoy it for the gameplay, the story, or Indy’s personality—but whatever the reason, make it yours.
-
May 6, 2025Despite some disappointing technical hitches, Indiana Jones swings onto PlayStation 5 with a satisfying crack of the whip. Sporting excellent writing, great direction and immensely satisfying gameplay, MachineGames have delivered the ultimate in Indiana Jones wish fulfilment. The hat may fall off at times owing to the glitches, meaning the Xbox or PC versions are probably your best bet, but this is still a treasure worth hunting on PlayStation.
-
Apr 14, 2025The game also utilizes the features of the DualSense controller. When Indy punches Nazis, you can feel the haptic feedback, and thanks to the adaptive triggers, you can feel the pressure points when firing firearms.
-
Apr 14, 2025Externally, the PlayStation 5 version looks very good. The main characters, familiar from the movies, do not look exactly identical to their predecessors, but they still make their point, complementing the plot parts of the story during the dialogue sections. In terms of voice acting, the main attention is naturally focused on Indiana Jones, and Troy Baker succeeds in this area excellently, raising the atmosphere across the board. However, the supporting characters are not always up to the task, as the more open adventuring can sometimes cause unintentional repetition in dialogue or activation at the wrong moments.
-
Apr 14, 2025Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is just good old fashioned fun. Its simplistic gameplay lets it down a little, but with vibrant environments brought to life with stunning detail, excellent writing and performances across the board, and a fun globe-trotting Indy adventure that nails the tone and feel of the film series, we had a blast from start to finish. If you’ve been holding off from playing The Great Circle, then now is the time. The PS5 takes an already brilliant adventure and makes it even better.
-
Apr 14, 2025For what Indiana Jones and the Great Circle sets out to do, I think it succeeds in every aspect. This is a game made with adoration and love for the legacy of Indiana Jones; for anyone that has a history with Indy, this is essential. If you can look past some rough edges, there's a diamond in the rough.
-
Apr 14, 2025We believe there's still room for MachineGames to fully realize the potential of the greatest adventurer of all time. But at its best, it's a game that puts you right in the shoes of Henry Walton Jones, Jr. like no other, and it's safe to say that it surpasses the last two films. For fans of the character, it's a solid recommendation.
-
Apr 18, 2025Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is an enjoyable game. While the simplistic gameplay is a bit disappointing, I had a good time from start to finish, with vivid environments brought to life with stunning detail, a script, performances and a fun adventure that captures the tone and feel of the movie series.
-
Apr 14, 2025To be clear, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is good fun. The presentation is spot on, and it’s an example of how nostalgia can be traded on in a way that is fun, rather than desperate. But as a video game, it’s yet another example of how the AAA blockbuster end of the market is totally incapable of breaking away from the overly safe and familiar, and the inflexibility of these “video game design best practices” means that no property is allowed an identity of its own anymore. Every gameplay feature, character, environment, item and puzzle needs to be the exact clone of the successful examples we’ve seen before and in the end, even punching Nazis starts to feel too rote for the joy that it should provide.
-
Apr 25, 2025As a quirky, slow-paced adventure game, The Great Circle has its charms. As a faithful adaptation of the Indiana Jones franchise, it’s a somewhat misguided project. I enjoyed my time with The Great Circle overall, it’s just not the kind of game I can readily recommend to someone. You have to be chill, not necessarily in search of a thrill.
