    Hzd used to be my fav game of all time and this sequel is so much better in terms of everything, they improved literally everything that bothered others. It's a bigger jump than uncharted 1---> uncharted 2

    Lives up tot he hype in every way. Loving every minute of this game. They took what we loved about HZD and improved upon the gameplay and told an amazing story. If you enjoyed HZD, you'll love HFW.

    Mad Xbox fanboys review bombing, ignore them, it's obvious that most of the people rating zero didn't even play the game or played it for like 3 hours until the end of the tutorial.

    The game STARTS SLOW. The prolouge is actually boring, I agree. Zero dawn also started slow and got really good once you reached the desert. Same here. The later game fights are insane, side quests are    Mad Xbox fanboys review bombing, ignore them, it's obvious that most of the people rating zero didn't even play the game or played it for like 3 hours until the end of the tutorial.

    Ninguém que pegou o jogo no dia 18 conseguiu terminá-lo até hoje. Estou com ele desde o dia 18 e ainda estou na primeira parte. E que jogo lindo e dinâmica, melhoram tudo que tinha de ruim em Zero Dawn. Tem tanta coisa legal para se fazer no game, que você perde a noção do tempo quando esta jogando Forbidenn West ❤️. Foi uma compra bem valida!!!

    I had to post a review after hearing about the review bombs. Always love to see people who didn’t play the game giving their reviews.

    So I’m about 10 hours into the game so far, and I have got absolutely lost in this world. Horizon Forbidden West improves on almost every single area from the original game. Sequels are a difficult thing to do, and boy did they do this right. The visuals    I had to post a review after hearing about the review bombs. Always love to see people who didn’t play the game giving their reviews.

    So I’m about 10 hours into the game so far, and I have got absolutely lost in this world. Horizon Forbidden West improves on almost every single area from the original game. Sequels are a difficult thing to do, and boy did they do this right. The visuals are absolutely stunning, the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers feel great, wether you’re using your bow, roaming around on a charger, or exploring some ruins, it just all feels great. The settlements feel so alive. I found myself just watching what some of the settlers do throughout the day. There’s so many amazing side quests to get lost in, and many of them have complete stories of their own instead of just being fetch quests.

    And lastly, the area that surprised me the most; The story still has that same sense of mystery and discovery that game Horizon Zero Dawn it’s magic. This game is an easy 9/10 - 10/10. My tip? Don’t ever trust the gaming opinion of anyone who gave this game a zero.     … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Just wow. Vastly improved from the original, the animations, skill trees, npc facial animations, massively expansive world. Few things that I liked very much:
    * breadth and depth of the customization from the equipment to the skill trees.
    * lots of “builds” to try out.
    * fighting machines is still so epic.
    * side quests are well thought out with some culminating that I didn’t expect to be intertwined with some other sidequest.
    * lots of enemy variation and combination. Give me a thunderjaw any day but that’s better than widemaws with skydrifters     … Expand

    Played 20 hrs (10 hrs main quest):
    -main quest is interesting as it was in 1st game
    -dialogues are MUCH better in terms of direction and sense -all the activities from 1st game are here but they've developed (example: tallnecks are not only climbing walls, but have small quests/puzzles connected to environment) -new characters are cool - graphics in 4k is mind-blowing, 60 fps is kinda    Played 20 hrs (10 hrs main quest):
    -main quest is interesting as it was in 1st game
    -dialogues are MUCH better in terms of direction and sense
    -all the activities from 1st game are here but they've developed (example: tallnecks are not only climbing walls, but have small quests/puzzles connected to environment)
    -new characters are cool
    - graphics in 4k is mind-blowing, 60 fps is kinda cool (my advice is to play in 60fps but switch to 4k in cutscenes)
    -there are some visual bugs/glitches but it's okay
    -world is living its own life and sometimes it's breathtaking (hello Keanu Reeves haha) - singing city, holographic Vegas are only first examples

    Amazing so far, nearly everything has been expanded and upgraded. I'm especially impressed with the sidequests and facial animations. Don't let all the crying xbox and Nintendo non exclusive whingers fool you, this is a game for the history books.

    Amazing game, huge step up from the first one. They improved on lacking areas of the first one but keeping the base. Narration is incredible and characters feels alive just like the world. Still some things need to improve but a great game. If you liked the first one, you'll love this one. People are just review bombing it so i'm givin it a 10 but it's probably a 8.5/9

Even side quest and errands and jobs feel like it’s all part of the main story. The graphics are just beautiful. The best graphics I’ve seen on next gen so far. The machines seem a bit harder than the first game which I love. The devs definitelyHorizon Forbidden West is the perfect sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn. The way they capture you with the story and graphics is pure enjoyment. Even side quest and errands and jobs feel like it’s all part of the main story. The graphics are just beautiful. The best graphics I’ve seen on next gen so far. The machines seem a bit harder than the first game which I love. The devs definitely upgraded like they were suppose to. Yes there are some hick ups with bugs but it’s relevant with a game that just came out and I know the devs will fix it. Aloy’s is the definition of what PlayStation can and will do with games.     I normally don’t review games but figured I should because of the review bombing. If you’re a fan of the first game you’ll love this one. They improved on just about everything which is insane because HZD was a masterpiece in my opinion.

    Haven't played all the way through yet, will probably update once I have. Moral of the story is if you liked the first one, you'll love this one. It improves upon every aspect of the first game, and is incredibly fun. On PS5, the graphics in fidelity mode are jaw dropping, and the story so far is engaging and great to play through. Personally, I haven't encountered any bugs in myHaven't played all the way through yet, will probably update once I have. Moral of the story is if you liked the first one, you'll love this one. It improves upon every aspect of the first game, and is incredibly fun. On PS5, the graphics in fidelity mode are jaw dropping, and the story so far is engaging and great to play through.     Une suite qui améliore tous les aspects du premier : graphisme, ost, sound design, gameplay, 43 machines différentes (!), 10 types d'armes différentes pour des approches différentes, des quêtes secondaires intéressantes, tous les PNJ sont travaillés etc ... La liste est trop longue !!

I am really shocked by the detail of theI have been so eager for return to the world of Horizon during the last 5 years because I was really amazed with the first installment. With Forbidden West all this things has been enhanced and I am completely blown away. I am really shocked by the detail of the characters from the smallest things to the most notorious. The story is a masterpiece of video game sci-fi that makes me fall in love. And I'm a super-fan of this genre who has explored countless classics. Possibly many connoisseurs of science and technology things understand it when they go deep into its lore and world which is perfectly based. If the story seems boring to some it is simply because they do not pay the necessary attention or they are people who complex things are not for them. These days I have become completely addicted to the game until I completed it 100%. Coffee is cheap and an incredible adventure calls!… Expand

    Na minha opinião um dos melhores se não o melhor game de 2022 , estava aguardando ansioso pelo game e a espera valeu a pena, o game está lindo com nvs mecânicas, máquinas e muito +, como smp a Sony não decpciona qualidade dos games é muito alta

    The audio is very good as well. Walking into a tavern you can hear the laughters and chattering of people, the sizzling of food cooking, the chopping of chefs prepping the food, and booming music that matches the atmosphere. As I walk around the world I can hear every detail: from each indivual footstep that I take, to the bird taking off, to the mechanical noises of the machines nearby.
    Story and side quests have also improved over the prior release. You get to see many of your favorite characters from the previous game along with a whole new cast of likable characters. Each one has their own motives and story to tell.    … Expand

    A masterpiece. I am now 15 hours in the game and positive surprised. I thought after the phenomenal Zero Dawn it can just get worse, but so far the game is on the same level. Graphics and acting even in side quests have improved a lot. I experienced some bugs though, but nothing that distracts you from your game experience.

    Another amazing job done by Guerrilla Games. It's been so long I forgot how much fun I had playing Horizon Zero Dawn. I'm 6 hours in and couldn't be enjoying the game more. Not sure about the PS4 or PC but on the PS5 so far the game has ran flawlessly.

    Takes everything good and bad about Horizon Zero Dawn and makes it even better. One particular improvement that grips me is the improvements on facial animations. The world feels alive with actual characters rather than stiff, unfeeling robots.

    one of the most polished games i’ve ever played. no bugs. great control system. great story line and the way it’s told. the way the story is told is one of the best i’ve ever seen. the graphics are great even on performance mode for PS5. the sequel i’ve been waiting for that out does it’s predecessor Horizon Zero Dawn. I for sure wasn’t expecting it to be better than HZD but it is is.

    Horizon has enchanted me again. After a slow start, a graphically beautiful, sophisticated sequel comes, polished in every aspect, and underscored by a great soundtrack on top of that. The sequel was simply a success. Everything that worked before works even slightly better now. [Issue#317]

    Horizon Forbidden West is Guerrilla's best game to date, taking Aloy to new heights with a blockbuster release that meets the high standards set by PlayStation in recent years. While it's totally worth fans jumping in on day one, it's perhaps better to wait a few weeks until all the bugs are ironed out.

    Horizon Forbidden West is exactly what everyone thought it would be: an amazing game. It has an open world with plenty of things to do and places to explore, fights against some really well-developed machines and stunning visuals. The feeling is that the second game of the series improves on what was already great, and it feels rewarding and fun to play. It is another single-player masterpiece from Sony.
