    One of the best games available on ps5.
    Storyline much worse than previous game, I would say ridiculous in the end.
    but the game is awesome, great graphics, new mechanics, awesome open world with tons of things to do.

    This game is a masterpiece, I don't know why always reviewers underrate gorilla games but what I have experienced was beyond a masterpiece, don't look at weird ratings and reviews, enjoy this fantastic game. Also photo mode is insane and surpasses even naughty dog games !!

    One of my favorite open-world games of all time. It made me want to explore every corner of the map, complete every quest, and earn every trophy. And it looks so beautiful, it filled me with a childlike sense of wonder in the process.

    Geez what a tough year for Alloy again, this one was amazing too, its wonderful how everything was improved, it deserves to share the praise along God of War and Elden Ring.

    Absolutely an amazing game! Makes some key improvements over the first one in gameplay, graphics, and quality of both main missions and side missions. Enthralling story, cast of characters, with excellent combat, traversal, and graphics. A must play on PS5.

    Horizon Farbidden West is a masterpiece, but a masterpiece that contains small but tangible flaws Like limited and not very attractive platforming. But his strengths make him ignore his small weaknesses. Strengths such as an attractive role-playing system, polished gameplay, better and enjoyable hand-to-hand combat, and a dynamic world.

    Horizon Forbidden West is an amazing sequel and a tangible evolution in all respects compared to its predecessor. In addition to being one of the best open world maps of the last few years, Horizon Farbidden West has a lot of variety in it. It is also considered one of the best role-playing titles, and in an era when the role-playing genre is not as strong as it used to be, and titles suchHorizon Forbidden West is an amazing sequel and a tangible evolution in all respects compared to its predecessor. In addition to being one of the best open world maps of the last few years, Horizon Farbidden West has a lot of variety in it. It is also considered one of the best role-playing titles, and in an era when the role-playing genre is not as strong as it used to be, and titles such as Fallout 3 and New Vegas are better than their new versions. Horizon Farbidden West is more complete and ambitious than Zero Down in every way. And the role-playing elements that have improved the gameplay and eye-catching visual effects are one of the most effective factors of the success of this game. The only disappointing part is the game's limited platforming, which lacks much appeal

    Bland story, generic characters, Aloy talks too much when exploring, was fun first maybe 10 hours then got repetitive, wouldn't recommend to be honest, only good thing is I got it on black Friday no where near worth 70 dollars

    The best game on PS5 I've played in 2022. Game of the year without any doubt. I can't point any weakness of this game...it's just masterpiece.

This game is so broken I don’t know how many glitches I got playing and I had to keep reloading the game and they got carried away with the challenges, a board game, racing, melee challenges plus the hunting grounds. Otherwise the story is beautiful the graphics is amazing I loved the first game but this game is broken.… Expand

    Beautiful. Rich story, some sick side quests, nice combat, nice machines, good gameplay. Gorgeous. Though something is missing for me in comparison to Zero Dawn.. and backseat aloy is really annoying at times.

    Terrible combat no huntress fantasy after 30hrs and the game doesn’t open up. Melee is useless aloy gets ragdolled across the map. Not worth the money.

    Nearly Perfect. Voice acting breaks immersion. Gameplay is fast and exploration is fun. Story is enjoyable and the central mystery is engaging. My critique is when it’s supposed to be set in a harsh hunter gatherer wilderness, most of the men are portrayed as weak, making food, stitching clothes, when the females are the strong leaders and hunters. If you want to kill a robot TRex youNearly Perfect. Voice acting breaks immersion. Gameplay is fast and exploration is fun. Story is enjoyable and the central mystery is engaging. My critique is when it’s supposed to be set in a harsh hunter gatherer wilderness, most of the men are portrayed as weak, making food, stitching clothes, when the females are the strong leaders and hunters. If you want to kill a robot TRex you better believe the person leading the charge has the build of Amy Adams. And when going to rescue a group who are fighting a 30 foot tall flame and acid robot, the voices of these people are like Chris Rock, Kevin Hart and Wanda Sykes, or current day san-Fran latte drinkers. It takes me out of the immersion when the bodies and voices just don’t fit the situation. Would be like playing God of war and you reside Thor and he sounds like Eddy Murphy… Expand

From the new improved graphics with the devs seemingly mo-capping every single interaction with a character to the improved combat mechanics and the great story, everything feels elevated to a new height and I put about 156 hours into it and was consistently wowed and impressed. I don’tAlmost a masterpiece in my eyes. Everything about the game felt bigger, better, and definitely next gen.     Definitely a step down from the first game. In all fairness, that was to be expected because HZD was such a novel and original concept/idea that there was almost no way but down from that.

    HFW suffers from bland characters (with few exceptions), and a lackluster story that goes completely off the rails towards the end. Someone compared it to Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions, which seems    Definitely a step down from the first game. In all fairness, that was to be expected because HZD was such a novel and original concept/idea that there was almost no way but down from that.

    The story doesn't offer too many interesting elements. The most interesting one from HZD was Aloys backstory and the story of... well, the state the world is in, really. But that story has already been told, so what's left? Not too much besides adding "just one more bad thing" and clan wars. And the latter I couldn't care less about.

    Another issue is Aloy's writing. The way she acts towards a certain character we know from HZD makes no sense. Nothing that character has done warrants that treatment at that point in time. Furthermore, she keeps talking during gameplay, sometimes pretty much spelling out solutions to puzzles after less than a minute of looking around. Look, Aloy, I love you, but you need to shut up for a minute.

    The gameplay is largely the same, which is okay, I guess. More of the same.

    The new areas to explore are unfortunately rather forgettable. The only one I remember is the flooded underwater area you visit at some point during the story. The rest is also "more of the same" but in a different location.

    I didn't encounter too many bugs a few months or so after release, there was only a racing minigame that broke in a spectacular fashion, which was more funny than annoying. Performance was good, the 60 FPS mode is lovely. It's so smooth but looks beautiful at the same time. I hope all developers adopt this on console.

    Honestly, unless you're a die-hard fan of the world of Horizon and you're super interested in clan wars, you should probably skip this game or get it at a steep discount.    … Expand

Es ist in jeder Hinsicht eine sinnvolle und gelungene Fortsetzung, die dem Vorgänger in nichts nachsteht. Schade das es durch den Elden Ring Hype etwas untergegangen ist. Zur Story, oft wurde kritisiert das man nicht eine ähnliche Faszination aufgreifen konnte, wie der Vorgänger. Ich hab so oft wie in kaum einen anderen Spiel einfach in die Landschaft geschaut und gestaunt, wie gut das alles aussieht. Die Kämpfe machen auch wahnsinnig viel Spaß und die verschiedenen Maschinentypen und wie detailliert diese ausgearbeitet sind, lassen mich immer wieder staunen. Auch wenn mich der Aufbau der Open World nicht so sehr stört wie andere, für eine Fortsetzung würde ich mir ein ähnliches Konzept wie in Zelda BotW oder Elden Ring wünschen. Ich sehe trotz meiner hohen Wertung einfach noch viel Potenzial!… Expand

    Horizon has enchanted me again. After a slow start, a graphically beautiful, sophisticated sequel comes, polished in every aspect, and underscored by a great soundtrack on top of that. The sequel was simply a success. Everything that worked before works even slightly better now. [Issue#317]

    Horizon Forbidden West is Guerrilla's best game to date, taking Aloy to new heights with a blockbuster release that meets the high standards set by PlayStation in recent years. While it's totally worth fans jumping in on day one, it's perhaps better to wait a few weeks until all the bugs are ironed out.

    Horizon Forbidden West is exactly what everyone thought it would be: an amazing game. It has an open world with plenty of things to do and places to explore, fights against some really well-developed machines and stunning visuals. The feeling is that the second game of the series improves on what was already great, and it feels rewarding and fun to play. It is another single-player masterpiece from Sony.
