    The team at Guerilla have completely outdone themselves. I am playing the game in Resolution Mode on PS5. The second the game started, my jaw dropped when seeing how incredibly stunning the graphics look. Truly the best graphics I’ve ever seen in a video game to date. The world is so much more vibrant and beautifully detailed when compared to Horizon Zero Dawn, to the point where it almostThe team at Guerilla have completely outdone themselves. The voice acting is phenomenal, and the facial animations are some of the most realistic I’ve ever seen. The mix of incredible graphics, engaging integration of the Dualsense capabilities, and 3D audio make this feel like a true next gen gaming experience - and that says a lot considering that this is a cross platform title.     I was able to stay away from any kind of marketing just to discover the game by my self and I'm 100% satisfied with what I got. For an open world game it absolutly lives up to the hype.

    A technical improvement on the original in every way. The animations are unmatched and everyone on ps5 needs to give themselves the chance to play this game. Hands down the best game out this year so far.

    Horizon Forbidden West is a must play for all PlayStation owners, and for everyone else as well. The production level on display is staggering, everything in the world from the NPC's to the leafy undergrowth is meticulously detailed. Exploring all that lovely detail is a blast, because the world is filled to the brim with worthwhile activities and secrets.

Great Game Runs great on ps5 and I can't wait for the next installment to be a ps5 exclusive so the developers can fully exploit the full potential of the console without having to worry about accommodating last gen devices. They still did an amazing job at getting such a huge and beautiful game running smoothly on old tech so well done to them. As for the game itself, everything that was great in zero dawn is even better now. Combat, exploration, narration, it all comes together really well and the side quests this time are way more interesting. Sadly Aloy still whispers her lines like she's afraid to be heard and it gets old fast. The rest of the voice cast is for the most part excellent, even for minor characters. All in all a great adventure that I hope more will get to enjoy on ps5 soon.… Expand

    Without a doubt, the best game I've ever played. As a Zero Dawn fan from the beginning, I couldn't wait for this to come out. I'm in love with all of the new elements they've included to make traversal and fighting more enjoyable and exciting, and I can't wait to give this game my full attention. Except for one minor platform bug on the release date, which was swiftly addressed the sameWithout a doubt, the best game I've ever played.     The game artistically depicted a real life situation if the world ended and our saviour was a woman who had a spear and rides on robots. Personally l love the story which takes us on a journey to get a fortnite battle pass.

    Without throwing any spoilers out this games exceeds in being better then the first Horizon game. The story , combat , stunning visuals are beyond what I was expecting. You can clearly tell that everyone working on this game put their full heart and soul into the breath taking game. I found myself stopping many times to just enjoy the view and soul chilling music.     Agarraron todos los consejos de la gente y lo implementaron de manera espectacular. Mejoras en el combate, el mundo abierto, las misiones secundarias y sobre todo que se ve visualmente asombroso. El único detalle que le pongo es la escalada en las estructuras que ojalá hubiera un poco más de libertad, pero de ahí en fuera muy bien.

    This kind of game happens when a developer takes their time to get things right. The relationships progress naturally and the story continues beautifully. They have improved some of the weapons and fight mechanics, and retained the best of the last game. Bravo!

    The first things I notice when I played Forbidden West for the first time was how amazing the game looks, it have improved leaps and bounds compare to Zero Dawn, they had improved the facial animation in the game, and the character have more life as they improved the voice acting in this game as well.

    The new design of the UI and Inventory system is definitely better than the first game, and the new skill tree in the game is much more in depth as they offer a lot more variety of perks depending on your playstyle. Stealth is much more viable in this game due to the skill tree and the new equipments that are available in the game which is a surprising welcome.

    As much as I love this game, it's definitely not a perfect game and there's some flaws in the gameplay that I would like to point out. Climbing on a terrain in the game is super janky which was one of the complain I had with the previous game too same goes when Aloy is trying to jump. Trying to play the game in 60 FPS may cause some minor flickering especially when you're in a battle.

    The story in this game could have done more as I was expecting more given that we waited for 5 years for a sequel. The story have a slow start, especially the first five hours of the game but I'm glad that it start picking up. Without spoiling anything, I wish they could had cover more on certain characters and tribes. Overall I do enjoy the game and the story and it's worth the time I spend on the game.    … Expand

    At initial launch the game is definitely buggy, but I haven’t experienced anything atrocious. Aside from that the world is beautiful, the combat is awesome with tons of variety, the story is much improved and expanded on compared to the first game, the under water traversal is great, and Sony’s first party studio Guerrilla Games knocked it our of the park with this one!

    This game met Most of my expectations. Exceeded others and over all was a very good game. I played it almost nonstop every chance I got and finally finished it last night. I only had a single bug where frame rate dropped due to memory leak towards end but easy fix.

    Great game. So much to do and the side quest DO matter. Everything ties to the main quest. New machines that have a familiar feeling. Updates to the combat and traversal is a plus. Many options on how you want to play. You. Can go as fast or as slow as you like. Must play, game if the year contender in a big way. The graphics alone leave you smiling.

    What a true next Gen game should look ! After starting every second is breathtaking!

    Most of the time you spend 3 hours playing and when you look at your progress you’ve done 1% because exploration on an gorgeous world make you lose yourself for eternity ! Every console should have a “Horizon” for their fans!

    This game is beautiful. That's how I'll start this. The game runs well, and there is a lot to do. If you go on Twitter you'll see people using this game as cannon fodder for whatever side of the console war you stand on. I love Xbox and it's my primary system. But Horizon Forbidden West is a well made game that deserves recognition.

    For those giving low score to any game just because of the console wars: How fkn dare you use the console wars to invalidate the hard work of these passionate developers? Instead of giggling in front of your computer while giving a zero on fkn metacritic of a game you haven't even played, go get a job, a real job.

    Just a few hours in the game and already hooked. It feels like I am in a movie playing the main character as I see the story unfold. Very few games gives you this kind of feeling

    This game is a masterpiece. Graphics, music, gameplay and story are exceptional. Want to emphasize dialogs in this game, characters with real-like emotions and body movement, it's like talking with real people. Great costumes too. Great game, having a pleasure playing it.

    When Metacritic allows games that are this genius to be bombed by people who do not play the game — MC loses credibility. This is the best game I’ve ever played, the gameplay is super tight, the story is brilliant and it’s next level.

    There are 2 things I hate the most in video games, wokeness and those who have to find wokness in everything. Dispite what a bunch of reviews are saying, Horizon Forbiden west is not Woke. Now that that is out of the way, HFW is an amzing game in all aspects. The graphics are just amazing. The story is great and there is a ton to do but nothing feels repetitive.     Yes, okay ...it is a bit more "clunky" with the movement but, the game is awesome. I think it's a fun game, now with more of a challenge and it's a beautiful game too. One of the top 10 must have games for Sony players.

    Horizon has enchanted me again. After a slow start, a graphically beautiful, sophisticated sequel comes, polished in every aspect, and underscored by a great soundtrack on top of that. The sequel was simply a success. Everything that worked before works even slightly better now. [Issue#317]

    Horizon Forbidden West is Guerrilla's best game to date, taking Aloy to new heights with a blockbuster release that meets the high standards set by PlayStation in recent years. While it's totally worth fans jumping in on day one, it's perhaps better to wait a few weeks until all the bugs are ironed out.

    Horizon Forbidden West is exactly what everyone thought it would be: an amazing game. It has an open world with plenty of things to do and places to explore, fights against some really well-developed machines and stunning visuals. The feeling is that the second game of the series improves on what was already great, and it feels rewarding and fun to play. It is another single-player masterpiece from Sony.
