E nitidamente um evolução do primeiro jogo em todos os quesitos combate, animações exemplo : agora e possível perceber emoção nós personagem , Ambientação e de fazer você ficar horas andando pelo mapa só olhando a ambientação, missões secundárias agora faz você querer completar elas estão bastante legais e também te dão recompensa com armas melhores e também agora os robôs e outro nível tipo agora quando você está lutando contra um ou mais ele busca te precisionar em algum canto para não deixar você fugir e outra também quando você sai do raio de ameaça do robô no primeiro jogo era só fugir agora fugir não dá porque eles vão te seguir a onde você for exemplo eu tentei fugir de um robô terrestre e ele viu que eu atravesei o lago nadando ele simplesmente deu a volta atravessando um tronco caído para onde eu estava resumindo nota 10 pra Ambientação e de cair o queixo de tão linda , nota 10 pra gameplay tirando um único bug que e de vez enquanto a aloy quando pula e agarrar em algum lugar ela atravesa uma pequena parte do corpo pra dentro do lugar mas volta na hora dou nota 10 também para história, antes no primeiro achava ela meio cansativa agora a história melhorou demais te passa mais emoção e faz você querer jogar ainda mais.… Expand

    First of all, shame on Metacritic for allowing trolls and other console worshippers to review bomb games less then couple days out. Not just HFW, but Halo Infinite and other games in the past. Writing a zero review just because you don’t like the story is trolling and not valid. Now that I got that out of the way, after playing since day 1, HFW takes everything wrong with the first game and takes it to a whole new level. One of the thing that impressed me are the meaningful side quests. The stories are very engaging and not just a fetch quests like the first game had. Also the variety in machines type is incredible. They added so many machines that you could create a separate Horzion game and call it Horizon Hunter (Monster Hunter reference). The graphics are beautiful obviously and looks a lot better then the first Horizon game. Not to mention the characters animations are phenomenal and night and day difference from the first.… Expand

    The game does a tremendous job of expanding on the original! Impeccable graphics, cut scenes are well thought out and character animations are some of the best ive ever seen. 10/10!

    This game is it's fantastic and fresh as the first one and even better. The combat is so much fun, having to shoot a giant machine gun off of a giant rampaging metallic dinosaur to weaken it and make the fight a little easier is awesome. Or maybe removing an antenna off an enemy to prevent it from calling and reinforcements. The game is very well done

    Horizon Forbidden West is a stunningly beautiful game. It's visual aesthetic is incredibly pleasing, traversing through these environments is enjoyable and vastly improved from zero dawn. Not to mention the map is quite expansive and there is more than a handful of things to do, explore, loot, fight and discover.
    The story is as engaging as zero dawn was, as long as you're a gamer who    Horizon Forbidden West is a stunningly beautiful game. It's visual aesthetic is incredibly pleasing, traversing through these environments is enjoyable and vastly improved from zero dawn. Not to mention the map is quite expansive and there is more than a handful of things to do, explore, loot, fight and discover.
    The story is as engaging as zero dawn was, as long as you're a gamer who doesn't mind dialogue/cutscenes or you're a person who enjoys acquiring all the lore/knowledge you can before moving on.
    The skill tree is deep and detailed allowing you to boost your preferred style (Stealth, Spear combat, Archery, Traps ETC)
    The enemies are beautifully designed and contain a vast variety in regards to the robots, humans however are fairly standard the only variations there are armour style/colour and clan name really. but that is to be expected as the focus is the robots.
    In terms of the positive Horizon Forbidden West adds a tonne of new mechanics, enemies, challenges, combat abilities, weapons and a whole heap more making for a hell of a time.

    However, on the other hand there are a couple of issues holding this game back from a perfect 10 those being;
    the combat, while having an expansive skill tree is quite a slog on the higher difficulties and by slog I don't mean souls like in which you must learn the patterns and parry timing I mean you need to be using a tonne of arrows to remove the enemies weak points and then combining that with the use of a large quantity of traps, this really reduces the flow of combat. I'm not saying all enemies should be one shot on the higher difficulties. However, they shouldn't be as spongey as they are. Difficulty should increase the amount of damage dealt to Aloy and the awareness of the enemies not increasing the arrows they can take by 150
    A second thing is a simple thing and its just general movement issues like Aloy not grabbing on to things and plummeting or her simply not jumping to the next grapple point (this is where the glider comes in handy)
    Apart from these couple of drawbacks I find everything to be beautifully crafted. well done & Congratulations Guerrilla.

    For those who enjoyed the first game or open world games generally, this one is highly recommended. The story is fun and the side missions have stories in them so they’re not just repetitive. The game mechanics are different enough from the first game to make it interesting but also familiar. I also appreciate the character development and Aloy’s world weariness. Lots of fun.

Everything from the sandy beaches of the West to the deserts of LV. This game had my jaw dropping the entire time I played it.     The story continues the Aloy saga. What I loved avout Horizon Zero dawn, they made better in fForbidden West! Graphically and storywise it is a great game and they gave Aloy more character!

    O melhor jogo da Guerrilla Games sem dúvidas. Uma grande evolução em relação ao primeiro jogo e uma grande amostra do que está por vir nessa nova geração de consoles. Essa nova geração será marcada pelos detalhes, muito detalhes. É surreal o que conseguiram fazer. Um show a parte.

    Horizon forbidden west is vastly improved from the first game in every where. The world is not only looks beautiful (the most beautiful open world game of all time) but there is so much things to do in it too. Side quest are so detailed and so rewarding combat is very intense and very fun! Facjal anmition during cutscene is mindowing get this one ASAP if you own a ps4 or ps5!

This is not AC. HFW is like a 9. It's gotta be. It's huge, it's got crazy good graphics, tons of content and runs smooth most of the time. Also, it can be challenging enough on at least hard mode. New, unique weapons differ from the first game. Some minor glitches but overall, very solid for a Day 1 release in these times. Story has decent moments later on, voice acting is crazy good but sometimes cringey. The voice acting is clear and high quality but the stuff they say is pretty lame most of the time. The social animations are very good in a way, but since it looks so good, you can really see the faults with the eye contact and expressions, the main missions do this better. The presentation is flawless, the music is pretty legit and the world/amount of things to do is massive as hell. Great Job Guerilla !!… Expand

    O jogo está incrível, a guerrilha conseguiu melhorar os defeitos do primeiro, e melhorar em muito as qualidades,os gráficos, a jogabilidade, a movimentação da personagem está incrível, notavelmente a Sony preza sempre pela excelência em seus exclusivos, esse foi mais um que veio pra detonar.

    I’ve been playing nonstop since minute one of its release and I’m amazed, I feel I’m disrespecting the developers if I don't stop to look every detail in every inch of the game, listen to every NPC, try every technique of the gameplay, the new water and air visuals and dynamics, It finally feels like the new generation is here and what it is capable to do and it looks and feels impressive!

As a pc and xbox gamer I havent played but have watched the game be played through. It looks pretty damn decent. Though the story isnt up to the same quality as the first game. Which I beat earlier this year. Still solid and beautiful game. Doesnt deserve the hate. And itI just read a comment saying someone would rather play ac valhalla.     Llevo más de 25 hs jugadas y la verdad que es muy adictivo, empezas algo lento al principio pero va tomandote tu ritmo....

    Las gráficas son más que increíbles de los paisajes, la naturaleza, el océano etc te quedas maravillado con el motor gráfico de Guerrilla... La banda sonora es exquisita ya sea si estás en una zona tranquila o cuando empiezas el combate...     Horizon2 améliore en tout point le premier épisode. Tellement beau, une chouette narration avec de belle surprises. Un jeu ultra plaisant à faire, à jouer et à parcourir.
    Il reste néanmoins classique sur son OW ou ces mécaniques de jeux ( qui étaient déjà très bonne si bien exploité par le joueur dans le 1 ). Beaucoup de bug d'animation avec un système d'escalade bien degueulasse.

    I'll start off by saying I didn't have much expectations for this game, in my opinion the first game was technically impressive and combat was fantastic but it suffering from a pretty basic open world design aspect in terms of progression and the side content would be hit or miss. I'm glad to report that HFW addresses my complaints with the game and offers one of the most unique open world WRPG experiences in a very long time. The world of HFW has alot more depth and vertically in it, you can't just follow a map marker or compass to get to your destination like in an AC game/Rock Star game/Ghost of Tsushima. Instead this game has more of a emphasis on environmental traversal and exploration. Similarly in Death Stranding a major aspect of that game was environment traversal on foot with the option of vehicular mobility, this game does that too but incentives you to get off of your mount. And given that it's a much more fast paced game with a more agile character to work with, traversal is more fun in this game. There's no feeling like gliding off cliff in a game with vast dense landscape like this.
    Now regarding combat, what can I say? The combat is fantastic, retains everything that was amazing about the first game and builds upon that in a very fleshed out manner. There is now fleshed out melee combat which the first game lacked, coupled with new skills and specials to unlock. In terms of raw gameplay they've introduced superb quality of life improvements ranging from large to subtle, while also allowing the user to customize upon that as well.
    Side content and open world activities in HFW are everything I've ever wanted them to be. The characters are more life like and your actions feel like they have an impact on the world and the lives of characters in respective regions. You could play the first with or without side quests and it wouldn't matter. But here in HFW you can't help yourself but to be involved with the world and it's people.
    The visuals, of course, Decima Engine strikes again, this visuals are truely something to behold on the PS5 at native 4K, while looking up to par on base PS4 aswell but I'd suggest to try your best to snag a PS5 for this game.
    And here's my most favorite aspect regarding this game. The sound design, to put it simply, it's the best in the industry, no question. They went above and beyond in that department in this game, and accompanied with the PS5's tempest audio engine, it is absolutely mind blowing. I played the game with a pair of open back HiFiman, and I can't describe how masterfully crafted and technically impressive the sound design is for this game aswell as it's composition, think of the OST as Witcher 3 meets Dune. Nobody seems to be talking much about this and jeez it's criminal.
    Story writing wise, as I've mentioned before the characters are more life like, they took a story with already a ridiculous amount of depth and amplified that depth when more, there's a genuine sense of threat in this game I will refrain from talking too much about this aspect as I don't wish to take away the experience for others. But I will say that if you're a fan of Kojima-esque stories about annihilation and extinction, the story will indeed resonate with you.
    That being said the game has some problems, but they're minor. As it is with the launch of any large scope open world game, the game has a memory leak bug, a very occasional pop in issue, and a clip in bug. These will be patched within a week or so, personally I haven't encountered them but these technical issues do definitely exist but I assure y'all this isn't some broken unoptimized dumpster fire of a launch like other games I'm sure you all are well aware of. Despite that, the game is remarkably well polished and if you pick this game up a week from now, these issues won't be a cause for concern, however I will still deduct points for this.
    My final rating for this game is 9.5/10, it would've been a solid 10 if these minor technical issues weren't present at launch, but then maybe that's just me looking for a reason to deduct points. I highly recommend this game, go pick it up.    … Expand

    Amazing game, beautiful graphics in resolution mode, it is in all ways better and improve then zero dawn. One negative - performance mode = resolution is pretty low, ist checkboard to 1800p but probably from 900p, its not Sharp, actually it looks worst than zero dawn on ps5 (60fps 4k dynamic)

    This game is absolutely stunning! It improves on the original in every possible way. Once you start you won’t want to put the controller down. This is a 3rd person, single player, narrative driven game. Those looking for a game where your choices have a large impact on the game though won’t find it here. This is Aloy’s story and it’s wonderful.

    If you enjoyed the first game or open world action games in general you'll love this one. The enemies are unique, the combat is fun, the world is interesting, and it is without a doubt the best looking game ever released. I know some people have experienced odd bugs but I've only noticed some pop in here and there but it isn't a huge issue. I'm playing on the PS5 in resolution mode.

    I’ve played around 10 hours of the game and I can say it’s spectacular! It builds upon the first game but isn’t a whole lot different. So if you are looking for a new experience it isn’t for you. But I really enjoyed the first so I have no complaints with this one.

    Amazing game. Best graphics on a console game, not even close. Story is great, combat is much better and improved compares to the first entry. Water graphics and physics are incredible like wtf?

    Horizon has enchanted me again. After a slow start, a graphically beautiful, sophisticated sequel comes, polished in every aspect, and underscored by a great soundtrack on top of that. The sequel was simply a success. Everything that worked before works even slightly better now. [Issue#317]

While it's totally worth fans jumping in on day one, it's perhaps better to wait a few weeks until all the bugs are ironed out.

    Horizon Forbidden West is exactly what everyone thought it would be: an amazing game. It has an open world with plenty of things to do and places to explore, fights against some really well-developed machines and stunning visuals. The feeling is that the second game of the series improves on what was already great, and it feels rewarding and fun to play. It is another single-player masterpiece from Sony.
