    Excellent game with a lot of fan service! Must have for all Harry Potter universe fans. You literally get yourself inside this universe and have a chance to experience your own magical adventure!

    Hogwarts Legacy is a outstanding game it's a Harry Potter game that has everything that the fans wanted and finally we have a structure to build on to it. It's massive and rich lore from the wizarding world. Story makes sense to the lore to which I was worried but no it was done with care. The game is massive and when I say massive it's large open world to explore deep pass the HogwartsHogwarts Legacy is a outstanding game it's a Harry Potter game that has everything that the fans wanted and finally we have a structure to build on to it. It's massive and rich lore from the wizarding world. Story makes sense to the lore to which I was worried but no it was done with care. The game is massive and when I say massive it's large open world to explore deep pass the Hogwarts grounds. Story is basic nothing too hard to understand however wish it had more oomph. But it's a good story and setups for a sequel in my point of view. Hogwarts Legacy gives lot's of stuff to do like collecting pages, demiguises, keys etc. And they do reward you with unique costumes and brooms. The game is very customizable with wand handles and outfits. Also you can sell your clothes but won't lose in transmog. You can collect Fantastic Beasts and breed them and also they give you materials to upgrade your outfits and perks. Spells can be mixed with charms and defensive spells or offensive. Yes, you can use the unforgettable curses. Side missions are a hit and miss though however they don't take too long to complete, side stories are among the best here as I called them loyalty missions. There are mini games like arenas, broom time races, dueling and others. Not as much but they do have their rounds. You can brew potions and use the most OP cabbages to attack your enemies and they are extremely OP. I have no negative things about Hogwarts Legacy, it's a magical experience to walk the halls of Hogwarts as I have imagined when I was kid and once you hear that theme from Harry Potter it will make tear up and excited. It's lengthy and my 80 hours of 100% everything my score is a 10. And those Merlin trials are ridiculous alot but hey I still had fun with them and also that extra quest was the best side quest in the game. My score is a perfect 10.… Expand

    Love this game. Big potter fan. Love open world action RPG's so this is a perfect game for me. Playing on xbox series X and the game looks great and plays very well. Highly recommended!

    This is the game every Harry Potter fan has been waiting for! Even if you’ve never read the books or watched the movies and know nothing about the fascinating world of HP do yourself a favor and check it out. This is a very beautiful and addictive RPG. The combat, characters, storyline, exploration, everything about it is top-notch. I was very worried it would turn out to be mediocre andThis is the game every Harry Potter fan has been waiting for!     Its the Harry Potter game that we all wanted when we were kids. The world is beautiful and just running around Hogwarts is a ton of fun!

    I support EVERYTHING about JK Rowling, and purchased 3 copies for myself and friends. We're loving the game! Everything i wanted from her world is here.

    Best Hogwarts Game of the decade since Quidditch Worldcup by EA/Warner Bros. interactive on PS2. Which makes the lack of chess and Quidditch Is missing in this otherwise Stellar outting. This is a master class in Hogwarts games other wise. While I personally would have loved a sim aspect of going to class I Don't mind a "Trails Of Cold Steel" approach to schoolwork. This is not The BestBest Hogwarts Game of the decade since Quidditch Worldcup by EA/Warner Bros. interactive on PS2. Which makes the lack of chess and Quidditch Is missing in this otherwise Stellar outting. This is a master class in Hogwarts games other wise. This is not The Best action RPG ever made, but a great open-world RPG with a lot of lore and a few characters thrown in for good measure., is what You'll find yourself in. when You Start playing. it helps but are not required that you know the extended universe to enjoy, but can set you on a path to another world that'll be yours forever. ;-) Graphically is it a beaut. not technically something to write home about but aesthetically pleasing to look at. fair frame-rate and a Game that keeps you on your toes at all time with technicalities That ask you to cast spells in the right order and in combination to for powerful attacks with attacks of powerful mystical attacks. It's a RPG with Just the right amount of technique and action to achieve a beautiful game that is as vast as your curriculum.… Expand

    I wanted to wait until I'd got pretty much all the game done, but man this game is huge! What can i say, Hogwarts Legacy is phenomenal! yes, there are a couple of minor technical issues (lighting problems in performance mode and a very lacking VRR mode) i'm sure these issues will be fixed in short time, and yes there are a couple of open world tropes but even those are just fun to do. TheI wanted to wait until I'd got pretty much all the game done, but man this game is huge! The gameplay is so varied and satisfying that no task ever gets boring. The combat is perfectly balanced and incredibly well designed, the broom and mount traversal is fantastic, the scenery and world design is stunning, the characters are great and all voice acted very well and all the side quests are really fun, Not to mention the main story, which is very engrossing and well written. Then you have the room of requirement that is almost a game in itself. I actually found myself laughing out loud and saying '"no way!" everytime something new occured in the room. I could go on gushing about all the little details and secrets (and there are hundreds!) but I'd have to write a book! Basically Hogwarts Legacy has succeeded in spectacular fashion, where most other open world games fail. The Horizon games are fun, but the writing and characters are dull and forgettable AC Valhalla had a great story and characters, but much of the gameplay was very repetitive etc etc. Hogwarts Legacy is up there with the best in the genre: Red Dead 2, GTA 5, Ghost Of Tsushima. For fans of truly great games this is a MUST play. For fans of great games who are also big Harry Potter fans...well, you'll struggle to put the controller down!… Expand

    You wont meet Ron, Hermoine or any of the other well known characters.
    But you might meet a few distant relatives! This game is set in the late 1800's! Iam only 5 hours in, ive not even got my broom yet-which i cannot wait for!!     Iam playing on ps5 in performance mode and it looks really good!
    Iam not a graphics wh*re, i prefer a silky smooth experience!
    Sound wise it excels!
    A gorgeous meandering sound track of background music, weaving its way around your ears, as you explore.
    Authentic spell sounds, spark, flare and flash as you cast your wand.
    Like i said its not a Harry Potter game, but its definitely an authentic Hogwarts game!
    Spells are easy to use so far, quite straightforward to do combos as well.
    Again iam only 5 hours in, but i can tell its gonna be a really good experience!
    Its a very deep game, full of lore. The castle is lovingly created, a maze of rooms and corridors. But u wont get lost, theres a magical path guide you can follow, or use floo chutes to get around instantly!
    Hogsmead is also created with passion, all the shops, the pubs, it feels like a living breathing town!
    Ive not had any bugs as of yet, its been pretty flawless!
    Its a game that takes its time though and cannot be rushed.
    Theres plenty of action though.
    I can highly recommend to all ages and all sexes.
    Character creation is fairly expansive as well.
    There are plenty of clothing items to pick up, wand parts as well.
    Theres a transmog system, so u can have the benefits of an item of clothing, but can make it look more appealing, by making it invisible, or make it look like another item of clothing!
    If your a Harry Potter fan, this games for you.
    If your not a Harry Potter fan, this game is still for you!
    For me so far its 10/10.

    We all have to put out there for this studio to know: This game is so **** good! The love and hard work that I am seeing is mindblowing! I literally lost myself exploring the castle, didn't know where I was, from where I came, but was a feeling of lost that I didn't experienced with a game for like 5 years.     In the last year I have played and beaten Elden Ring, GoW Ragnarok, and Horizon FW - this game is as good as they are on every level - even more so if you’re a fan of the Harry Potter Universe. Incredible visuals and details, solid story (so far), and a really fun combat system. My only gripe is that I can’t sit in the chairs just to relax and take it all in!     This is not only the best Harry Pottee game ever, it’s literally Game of the Year material. Outstanding graphics, amazing characters and voice performances, great story, a magnificent open-world and more surprisingly, the combat system is a highlight! Everything about this game is perfect! The replay value is INSANE! Watch out for record breaking sales. It is THAT good!

    This game is pure magic. I've not had this sense of wonder and fun in a single-player game since Zelda Breath of the Wild. The game is more detailed, awe-inspiring and beautiful than the movies. And I can't wait for the developers to flesh the game more since they've already laid the foundation so well,

    The game is not for people looking for school sims though.

    What is up with the haters..this is a awesome game ...there us no legimite reason to give this game a low score...i dont understand why people have to ve so bitter and sour...just give the creators of this game some credit about the hard work they have done...come on guys...this is a good game...havent enjoyed a game like this in years

    A Masterpiece the amount of details in every frame is phenomenal its a faithfully recreated version of the world in harry potter can't wait for even more sequels from Avalanche.

    The hype is real! The game is absolutely fun and I seriously can’t put the game down. I might get fired from my job because I’ve called off multiple days in a row just to finish playing the game. Btw. I haven’t been focused on the story because all I’ve been doing is flying around doing a bunch of side objectives and getting completely lost in the world and all the things you can do inThe hype is real! I am over the halfway point through the level cap and the main story missions that I am currently on right now require me to be level 10 (I have over 20 hours into the game right now and essentially still at the early points into the game and have unlocked most spells and skills can you believe that?!).

    Lots of complaints about the transphobia thing but you know it’s their loss honestly, they want to complain about a real good game let them, the ones who play the game will understand how great and fun it is. To my honest impression, was a bit scared that Hogwart’s Legacy hype would ruin the experience for me and it’s very rare that a game meets those expectations. Don’t think, if you’re hesitant on getting the game, BUY IT! It is worth every single penny.    … Expand

    Really enjoying it even 50+ hours in and there's still lots of fun stuff to do.

    I stayed up a little too late last night playing this and now my eyes are tired, worth it.

    Hogwarts Legacy has a great character design and could have had a great story too but the story is not so strong. the gameplay feels great and exploration is so entertaining. visually its great and Hogwarts castle is so detailed.

    Hogwarts Legacy is definitely a beautiful-looking game that doesn't have a groundbreaking story, but does have a beautiful world, a fun combat system, broomstick flying, and of course an incredible amount of side quests and missions. [Issue#325]

    It's been a decade since we've had a full Potterverse game, but the wait has been well worth it. Hogwarts Legacy gets just about everything right, with its involving storyline and myriad of main and side quests. Perhaps its finest feature though is Hogwarts itself, providing as much joy in just exploring the halls as performing set tasks. We doubt a single Harry Potter fan will be disappointed. We certainly weren't.
