    how can you hate your audience so much that you can do such a thing? do you have a quality control department? it's just a terrible, bogged-down game, such masterpieces were ruined. models, textures, geometry are just terrible quality. protruding algae column from the ocean, curved textures and so on. everything is very sad. rockstar's reputation has sunk to the bottom.

    Those who give this game a positive rating need to reflect, is this due to the game being "upgraded" or was it just that they didn't manage to utterly annihilate 3 classics? You're enjoying the old story, and you would enjoy better with the mods that they took down.

    Horrible, buggy mess of a remaster. They can't get a PS2 game to run at 60FPS. Do yourself a favor and just stick with the originals. The game is fundamentally broken. The cops were randomly going down cross streets in San Andreas instead of chasing me. It doesn't even feel like the same game. Sadly I am not surprised at games being released in a completely broken state anymore.

    I'd really prefer to own the original versions. The 'enhancements' actually make the game look and feel much worse in some key areas. Rain effects which make it difficult to drive, awful facial hair which just makes cutscenes less engaging, removal of many great songs and it's surprisingly buggy.

    One of the worst remaster versions ever made, even the bad KI from GTA 3 is the same as 20 years ago. The KI drives with a car you should protect against a wall and you fail the mission. It is so bad that it hurts, this edition is not even worth 1$ in a sale. Forget about this triology and keep your good memories about the games.

    Fidelity mode is a disaster. Performance mode offers an occasional 60 fps but dips frequently. Let’s talk about that rain. It’s terrible, ugly and distracting. This is the laziest remaster I’ve ever played. It’s 2021s biggest disappointment. The PC modded versions we’re 100 times better. This collection feels rushed, unfinished, and like a cash grab.

    They banned mods, removed original games from stores, cut out many music tracks, made ugly cartoonish characters, games are filled with bugs, it's based on poor mobile ports, basically the old game with new lightning and lazy AI upscaled textures, and yes they're charging 60$ for it. nothing else than a zero

I will be demanding a refund and lucky me i still have the original GTASA on my pc. The originals not only look better but also feel better in the way of driving and gun fights.     The rain effects look laughable. It looks like they hired the director of the Birdemic movie to create the rain effects. That is very embarrassing for a videogame franchise that is owned by a company that made billions of dollars. The character models look even worse and more cartoonish than the original. The characters look like they were created using WWE 2K20's character creation. Makes sense, considering WWE 2K series is also owned by Take-Two. Some songs on the radio are missing. The developers could have at least replaced those missing songs, but they were too greedy for that. The pool minigame in GTA San Andreas has terrible physics. And you can't even play with another friend with a second controller, when you could do that in the original version. You can't take pictures and save them in the Gallery section like you could in the original. In what world does a PS5 Definitive edition has less content than the original PS2? Imagine charging a ridiculous price of $60 for less content.

    The developers that advertised this game were extremely greedy and anti-consumer. Using vague terms such as "GTA V inspired controls" leaving us to speculate what that means. They decided to remove the classic versions of these games before even showcasing what this so-called "Definitive Edition" even looked like. It should be up to us to decide which version we want to buy, not the developers. The developers knew that if they were to call this horrendous game GTA Trilogy Remastered, then less people would be interested in pre-ordering this game. Speaking of pre-orders, the greedy developers had the audacity to open the window for pre-orders without even showing any gameplay. This outrageous greed makes Activision and Ubisoft look like saints in comparison.

    There is no multiplayer. So once you beat the campaigns, there is not a reason to play this game again. Charging $60 for a game with no replay value is a cash grab. And they had the audacity to take out the couch co-op multiplayer from GTA San Andreas. This is why I hate when consumers value nostalgia over quality. It just encourages developers to make cheap and lazy cash grabs. Don't get me wrong, these games were great when they first released. But by PS5 $60 standards, these games are the laughing stock of the videogame industry. I don't recommend this pathetic excuse of a remaster at all.    … Expand

    Remaster não é remake. Atualização gráfica não deve ser cobrado novamente a quem já tem os jogos. Principalmente quando se trata de um remaster tão porco. Mafia 2 foi remasterizado decentemente e foi dado FOR FREE pra quem já o tinha. 2K tb pertence à T2. Rockstar está se tornando aquilo que tanto temíamos.

    Iconic songs cut, weird graphical glitches, sections of the map you can literally fall through, cut effects like fog and haze, uncanny valley looking characters, inconsistent lighting, lazy menus, strange highlight effect when shooting people, controls that somehow are worse than the original. Just play the originals

    The cars are like paper they explode so easily. The amount of bugs in just a few missions was astounding. The overall feel is horrid. It's a $15 game that they are charging $60 for effectively ripping off every customer.

I already have the classic 3D GTA Trilogy on steam and I wanted to try this new experience of this masterpiece on Next gen consoles since It’s been so long I’ve played the classic GTA SA on PS2 at first gameplay the new HD GTA IV or V like mechanics and controls are a nice touch also made the game played on a controller much easier is the graphics and lots of bugs or glitches that kept me frustrated. In my experience I mostly found them on GTA San Andreas for example while riding on the hills or mountains on a motorcycle, for some reason I end up falling below the map this already happened twice for me and the rain effects are terrible as you cannot see anything in front of you. I hope a large patch will come soon but as of now its not worth buying all three games. I decided to give it a 0 since it’s not the best experience and not the remastered game I was hoping for. Very poorly made game unexpected from the developers since we are used to have decent well made games coming from Rockstar but this one is just a disappointing mess of a remaster… Expand

Раньше разработчики делали игры-шедевры, TES oblivion/morrowind, Mafia the city of Lost Heaven, GTA 3/vice city и примеров много. Игры более чем достойные, проработанные до мелочей, в которых хочется исследовать мир и наслаждаться каждой минутой игры. Но это всё в прошлом. Сейчас на арену вышли экономисты. Вы делаете продукты ориентируясь на будущие продажи, бряцаете такими громкими лейблами как vice city или san andreas, а на деле получается поделье первокурсника на 80 Гб, которая не может соревноваться качеством даже с мобильными версиями. Моя оценка 0. Вы наняли стороннюю, левую студию, для выпуска "ремастера", сделали пластилиновые фигурки персонажей, поруинили всю физику в играх добавив тонны багов, но что вы не забыли сделать, это добавить тонну цензуры в угоду повесточке! Иначе ж захейтят, обрушат вам рейтинги. Раньше вы не боялись высказывать своё мнение, не боялись делать игры для людей и проработанными, а сейчас для вас главное продажи.     This game needs a PATCH asap. The remastering is a good idea, but really needs to polish more details in order to be a Rockstar game. For now ( 14 November 2021): 0/10. Wouldn't recommend buying in its actual state honestly.

    How do you manage to copy and paste a 19 year old game and somehow make it worst? This is not even including the bugs, crashes and glitches that were not present in the original releases. Rockstar even removed the original versions from the store. Plus, Rockstar loves going after modders that try to improve the game. Shame on you rockstar.

    Utterly shameful for these developers to launch this "definitive edition" in such a state. Rockstar has one of the largest number of developers, with very high profits and revenue associated with their various games. Very confusing how such a major and material error occurred here.

Looks like they did nothing buy slap a reflective skin on the cars. They basically upgraded nothing and you can't even keep track of all the issues, cause there are so many.     Honestly this is just a mess. Some environments look good whilst others don't, the character models now all look like cartoons unlike the originals which tried to look as realistic as possible.

    No effort was made to enhance the controls either, and in general this whole game feels cheap and rushed. Low effort by Rockstar.

    This trilogy has many problems but I can still look past that & give this game a 1 or 2 if it weren't for one glaring problem, REMOVED music in a package called the definitive edition, I've seen games remastered with removed content (e.g. the Nathan drake collection) but it didn't boasted itself as the best way to play these games, this from a billion dollar company is inexcusable

    The 3 games look awful now, like a mixture of the old games and newer ones from like 2009 so it just doesn't work and the faces are terrible. There a ton of bugs and the game is poorly optimised. I expected much more than this rubbish :( DO NOT SPEND MONEY ON IT!!!

    Even in performance mode it still often drops below 30 fps. Many songs in the original version were deleted. Due to the increased number of characters and vehicles, GTAIII and VC feels harder than the original version, they only added checkpoints at the beginning of the mission. Seriously? I don't think it's worth 60 dollars, it's only worth up to $30.

    Disappointed that such a well established company did not bother to QA and had released the game in this state. Completed 50% of Vice City in the first weekend, and now I cannot load the game as it just crashes to the PS5 dashboard. Therefore, unplayable at launch. Should have patched before launch and not months down the line. Lack of professionalism.

    I'll never say that again. This is an absolutely horrendous remaster.

    If they really do choose to remaster GTA4 and RDR, I hope they invest a lot more time and money into it than this.

    From the Definitive Edition of the iconic GTA titles emerged a technically unfinished remaster, which remained halfway. The content is and will always remain timeless, but the way to get to it and to enjoy it is simply not good.
