    Paid $90 dollars just to get time soaked into spending more money on cars. Painful and heart breaking. I spent hundreds of hours in Sport.

    ARGH! Another gaming franchised killed by corporate greed. Don't get me wrong. I was enjoying this game, until the pay-to-win crap went online. This is just as bad as when Battlefront II (EA) came out, but I don't think Mickey is going to fix this like Battlefront II. Overall, I'm sick and tired of what has happened to the gaming industry.     The amount of greed from polyphony digital and sony is amazing.. they really botched this launch, I was so excited to play this game but it's full or micro transactions DRM and never ending grind. This is simply not fun.     I wish there was a number lower than 0 we could use. This constant gouging of customers is hitting an all time high and yielding absolutely nothing for the player. Let’s just patch a simple way to earn items faster, make it extremely long winded to get said items and make the player pay real money for minimal things like cars that you used to get with just a minimal to moderate grind.

    Polyphony and Sony are so dirty for hiding the exorbitant micro transactions. This was supposed to be a remastered Gran Turismo 4 with GT Sport online qualities. I returned it to Amazon in disgust.

    Updates have killed the game. Single player still relays on servers so when they go down you can’t play. It’s so much harder to earn credits now they’ve nerfed race bonuses

    Sony ruined the whole game!! I am not playing GT7 anymore! go get Assetto Corsa or some other sim racing titles for PC and say NO to the exploitation

    I'm appalled. GT7 appears to be the game of exceptional quality we all expected but the recent patch (1.07) is an affront to all loyal supporters of both PlayStation and Polyphony. I checked in with all of my normal reviewers the day *before* the patch, saw decent reviews and bought the game. By the time I played for the first time patch 1.07 was live. And of course.. no refunds. I'veI'm appalled.     DO NOT BOTHER BUYING THIS GAME. It is microtransaction haven. You can't play offline because it's a single player game but ALWAYS ONLINE!

    Due to absurd always online DRM and server maintenance outside of my control, at the time of this review GT7 gets a genuine zero. There is no game to play. No graphics, no sound and no game. Shameful.

    Another game where we gamers are lied to, absolutely disgusting. Whoever made this decision should be fired. When are they going to learn that you don't screw over your loyal fans. Screwing over everyone just so you can exploit a small amount people with money throw away.

    What can I say that hasn’t already been said? This game has been littered with scummy “live service” micro transitions that completely take advantage of the consumer. This is NOT ok, Sony. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

They integrated hefty pricy MT and considerably lowering the earning you can get in order to make some people pay to get some vehicles. Graphics looks flat and looking like a PS3 game since polyphony graphic engine is way too old. Even Forza Motorsport 7 looking way much better than GT7 and wasPolyphony Digital Scammed the initials reviewers by hiding their micro transactions scam.     I feel like I’ve been rip off just like with EA Battlefield 2042 crappy game. No it’s STILL NOT a triple AAA game it should have been. Polyphony Digital is like 343 Industries they can’t make AAA games. For the Polyphony Hypocrisy micro transactions scamming methods I put a Big Zero rating.

    Very disappointed about the game in general but specifically about the awful strategy of Sony and Polyphony about this game. Impossible to gain credits and forcing us to put more money in the game through micro transactions. Not worth the price.

    It saddens me how low this franchise has gone since the golden years of GT. To resort to this sort of behaviour of not letting initial reviewers play the game that have the microtransactions should not be allowed legally. The day-one patch changed the mechanics of the game so much it can be considered a totally different game.

    Yeah got played by the game I was excited to play. Shame. Do not buy until devs take action and go back to what the game was meant to be, what it was at launch before the update.

    With the path this game is on it is not worth playing in the least bit. Forza (series) has won me over bar none, come to racing games. I was super hyped for GT7, but they obviously favor microtransactions over anything and proceeded to make the game online only for single player career modes, and made it even more grindy. No thank you im good.

I spent so much money on this game and found that I couldn't play it easily during the rest.I still need to spend so much energy or extra money to buy the car I want to play with.     And the fact that the game is not playable offline except for the crappy music rally mode is completely eggregious. After spending 70 bucks for a game itself you’re left with a product which asks almost 200$ for single one of the most expensive cars. After the latest patch economy of the game became even worse.     Lots of potential for a really fun game here. Great graphics, so much attention to detail in the cars and tracks. Overall pretty fun gameplay. The cafe was a cool addition and fun to play through. I enjoyed the progress through missions and got a sense of accomplishment as new areas were unlocked. I wish there were more pages to explore and would love that to be part of future contentLots of potential for a really fun game here. Single player must be online for some reason and server maintenance shutting the server down for more than a day only to come up with a terrible patch ruined the game. There seems to be some very short sighted upper management decisions that cut rewards for racing in half making it a massive grind to obtain credits and buy cars. This was a full price AAA game, I had no intention of paying more real money to buy cars to race. Give me a free game if you want to attempt this monetization model. The greed is glaring and the minimal spike they’re going to see in micro transactions will be lost ten fold when they try to release another game after this. My personal viewpoint is that they got my money for the game, they won’t get a dime for the micro’s and I won’t be buying future releases from polyphony if this isn’t fixed. I have no interest in playing at all in the games current state.… Expand

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
