Update - it looks like Polyphony Digital might actually be listening, as I did receive an in game credit token for 1 million for compensation to the 30 hour outage. They've also written a decent update on the fact they will make substantial changes in an early April update. I'm going to be cautiously optimistic here, which is why I've updated the review.

Decent driving game hiding a free to play economy behind a 80$ entry fee. This game is using a lot of insidious tactics to push you towards its overpriced microtransactions.

I'm very disappointed in the latest installment of this beloved series. I have all the previous game, and none of them full price 80€ game had such micro-transaction pressure.
The amount of money you make in the game make it a complete plain to pay with in game credit for the most expensive car. This is NOT how micro-transaction should work. not for a free to play game, and certainly not

Grind or pay, but you can forget the fun...

And the Solo campaigne required connection is just a spit in the face. I cannot play when your server are offline? You're wasting my time Polyphony Digital....

You drop the ball on that one. I will change my score if you patch all this crap though

    March 7th 2022 Update
Upgraded the rating to 7 because last patch 1.11 improve economics a lot.
Won't go higher because we are still required to be connected for solo play which is a big downside
Could add some cafe menu on pit stop, changing weather, endurance races, cars from other countries, circuit experience, GR1 cars, VGT cars, etc.
I've finish the cafe menu solo play with only 80 cars... and most of them are not a million credit car. Am I supposed to mindlessly grind a billion credit to buy the 300+ remaining cars, most of them costing several millions credit?
I would have expected a better polished game from PD instead of a game as a service with constant update.

Now, this is a racing/driving sim, not a crash sim..., The driving/racing experience is really good, much better if you have a sim racing wheel, in my case i used the Logitech one, not the best one, but did the work.

Now the only flaw this game has, is the microtransactions, thats a no for me, on this type of game microtransactions shouldn't be allowed, really pathetic that GT7 has them.

Another flaw GT7 has, is the only 1 type of multiplayer gamemode it has, you can race with other players online but, somewhere about 20 races you can get bored, it's always the same, i think it has potential for more online game modes.

Other than all that, the game feels great, it is really a true driving simulator, hope the next game releases better than this one.

Update: Pleasantly surprised PD had acknowledged community sentiments, and provided clear plans for improvement with concrete timeline. Will adjust score again when the patch comes online

As a long time GT fan, it beyond pains me to see the current state of this beloved franchise. The scariest part is that the fiasco is not caused by incompetency by Sony or PD. It is a cold and calculated operation to deceive and manipulate the playerbase to maximise profit at all costs. They knew what they are doing. Did they anticipate the backlash? Most definitely. Did they care? Most definitely not. They did their math and knew the minority of whales would more than cover the damage done by alienating their loyal fanbase of 25 years.

The whole game has been designed from ground up to maximise MTX. Elements to promote MTX has been weaved into almost every aspect to the game. From obvious ones like the inability to sell cars and FOMO, to the subtle ones like the background of the credit earning screen made to resemble a top-up card.

After the community made their voice heard, PD and Kaz effectively doubled down on their appoach while offering nothing but empty and vague promises. The appearance of the McLaren F1 (a fan favourite) for 18.5m following by the Porsche 917K at 18m following the backlash is almost hilarious.

Given how Sony and PD have reacted, there is unfortunately little optimism that they will backtrack from their "ostrich head in the sand" approach. A shame really, how this once legendary franchise will end.

Had the potential to be a 9.5 game, but I cannot give more than a 0 for the disgusting way Sony and PD had deceived and betrayed their loyal fanbase.

Online was a joke at the start with tuning because if you didn't have the same tune that literally everyone else had to copy then you're not competitive. so I'm at least glad they went back to BOP.

However visually its stunning and every car has great detail and sound along with great physics but I am greatly disappointed.

All PD had to do was make an offline single player modeled after GT4 and just implement the sport mode that we know of from the previous title. It is that simple!!! you then appease to everyone.

Nope we just got an unfinished rushed title.

The game looks and plays well, but the menus are frustrating and slow to navigate and I expected more from the multiplayer modes. You spend a lot of time just waiting. The campaign is fun for a while, but the AI drivers are very slow, so it gets too easy if you drive the recommended car with the recommended performance, even without any assist.

In a nutshell, doesn't live up to the legendary series. First of all, the menu and all outside racing activities are incredibly boring. Roulette mechanic is shameful, 95% of the time you get the crappiest thing when you spin. It's obviously a crash grab with micro-transactions. You have to grind a lot to get access to higher tier races. Gt café is really repetitive and boring. The AI isIn a nutshell, doesn't live up to the legendary series. After many years, we have a new version of the Gran Turismo series. The title marked with the number 7 turns out to be a game with two faces.

The positive one is the driving model, changing weather conditions and the changing time of the day. You can feel the differences in driving between individual car models and the influence of the installed parts on the driving characteristics even more than in older GT games. This is the basis for making Gran Turismo 7 a very good game in the future.

Unfortunately, the rest of the game makes it mediocre. One can get the impression that Polyphony Digital designers stopped with knowledge about User and Customer Experience in the 90s.

Badly designed game screens. For example, after a race in the Cafe menu, you have to click OK more than 10 times to exit. If you also get a car and gain a level, the number of clicks reaches about 15. Who designs games like that?

Players cannot enjoy split-screen mode until the completion of specific single player challenges. It is no different with the online mode. What's more, when setting up a room in online mode, we can only choose the tracks that have been unlocked in single player. Do you seriously want to decide for the players how to have fun? It is as if LEGO forbid building own sets from bricks and restrict customer to building only the one from the manual. This is ridiculous.

Back to online. Qualifications removed, room settings cannot be saved, existing room settings cannot be edited, grid cannot be edited. The game has been devoid of basic functions that allow players to have fun with theirs friends. Instead of progress, we have regress. GT7 is unplayable in this aspect. Anyone who plays Gran Turismo with friends will stay with the Sport edition.

The lack of new tracks, well-known single player challenges from previous games, and few new cars make the GT7 feel more like a remaster of previous parts than some new and special game. A small number of changes can be understood in a series that is released every year like FIFA, NBA, etc. But not in Gran Turismo that is released every few years.

The characters added to the game are uninteresting, their presentation is more like a browser game than AAA (avatar and written text). Their statements are as boring as if they had been prepared by some poor text generator. It’s better to read Wikipedia.

Back to UX / CX again. Changing screens activate playback of a new song, so it’s impossible to listen to entire song. It sounds more like jingles. Car descriptions cannot be scrolled using the steering wheel. The Thrustmaster T500 steering wheel works with the PS4 version of the game, but not with the PS5 version. HUD is not customizable. Videos (as boring as those generic texts) cannot be skipped. I could go on and on like that.

Generally, Polyphony Digital does not learn anything, GT games are painfully repetitive, good solutions from competing games do not go to GT. In fact, even good solutions from the series disappear (online lobby settings).

Considering what I wrote at the beginning, there is hope that GT7 will become a better game. I hope as soon as possible, before GT7 disappears forever from the disks of our consoles.

We need SPEC 2.0 ASAP that will especially fix online lobbies.

    Pros:
    + driving model
    + weather conditions
+ change of time of day

    Cons:
    - unplayable online mode
    - no new track
    - challenges pasted from earlier games
    - no significant changes
    - terrible User and Customer Experience

    The bad:
The 3rd person racing view makes the cars look very bad, they lack details, reflections and textures. Requires permanent online connection to play the campaign and “off-line” championships such as GT Sport. Non-existent collision engine (after crashing fully, the control of the car remains the same). If there is a disconnection in the middle of a championship, you lose the progress of the races and when the connection returns you will have to start from the beginning of the event, you return to the starting grid (pun intended). The sound section is rare, taken from pre-made sound libraries, like those comic TV series, only the recorded laughs were missing. It is not possible to start a championship and let the days go by. Anachronistic, boring, absurd and redundant menus. Day 0 already has extra payments and DLCs in the store to buy cars if you don't want to be stuck in the first races always. Cars that in GT Sport cost 4 USD here cost 40 USD. Ray tracing only in photo mode (it doesn't have it in the race). Decent car modeling on a poorly lit gray background to make a visual trick and highlight the car modeling (very cheap programming trick). The coffee mode is boring, there are no “text only” character voices, so let's read

    Lo Meh!:
Accept it once and for all, Gran Turismo stayed in the 2000s and no longer knew how to advance, the last "Great" Gran Turismo was 3, after that neither the press nor the fans accept that the saga is well dead. This game looks more like a Gran Turismo Sport re-skin. Unless you have a lot of friends in garages and you want to dazzle them (or sell them) with those car posters that stick next to a model in a bathing suit, that's just what this game will do. I don't care if they say it's a "Prologue" edition and then they release a VSpec or ASpec version, I don't believe them anymore so save it.

The game is based on predatory microtransactions, to the point where the game is intentionally creating roadblocks to funnel you towards microtransactions. In a "free to play" game, okay, but not a game you pay 60+ dollars for. The level of funneling as absolutely insulting.

Races do not have a real payout, for doing a long endurance race you get barely anything. The credit payout across the board is extremely and intentionally gimped. This mixed with limits on what cars you can actually purchase, and time limits on those create a situation where they are trying to get people to crack out the credit card and just funnel more cash.

All of this, mixed with the fact this is ONLINE ONLY. YOU CANNOT PLAY THE GAME WITHOUT INTERNET OR SERVER CONNECTION. This review comes in during the 24+ hour server outage caused by a bad update on PD's side. The game has been out for 2 weeks and people cannot play it. This is going to cause major issues in the future, and effect the lifetime of this game.

DO NOT BUY THIS UNTIL WE SEE PD BEGIN TO FIX THESE MAJOR ISSUES

The game forces you through 'cafe' singleplayer missions to unlock content. But these races are mostly always chase the rabbit style races, where you start right at the back and have to catch up to the leader. It's just a shame that the AI is so terrible - they will brake mid corner, and ignore you being right next to them.

It's 2022, and Polyphony Digital has somehow made worse AI than indie simracing studios. The campaign isn't fun if you're even remotely fast.

The game teaches you so much about racing... But there's no actual racing found until right at the end of the singleplayer campaign.

With a proposed AI improvement Sophy, begs the question... Why release the game without this? AI is such a core part of a racing game.

It's a shame, because the rest of the game is great. Cars and tracks are beautiful as always. Tuning is fun. Microtransactions suck, but they are optional. The physics are massively improved, more sim like, and the wet weather handling/dynamic weather is amazing. The last license test is a great example of this. They came so close to making the perfect racing game, but without the AI to back it up, it's just a track day/car collection game. A shame. Sophy AI cannot come quick enough.

I get free 2 play vibes from the economy in this game( You can’t even sell cars). Only difference is that you have to pay full price first. Then we have the lack of communication during these server maintenance windows that never seem to end. The ongoing maintenance while writing this review was supposed to last 6 hours. Instead it’s been 24 hours and not a peep from Polyphony. The game went from a solid 8.5-9 to a 0 for me. I can’t play this disgusting piece of sh*t. And that’s not just because it’s impossible to even start during the maintenance. But also because the complete and utter disrespect to the fan base. Congratulations Polyphony Digital. Lack of career mode content and progression, too many free new cars that you can't sell to upgrade others. Missing classic race tracks (Grand Valley, Pikes Peak, London, Rome, Seattle?). Short version:

    + lots of content
    + graphics
    + accessible
    + good on controller
    - no fov adjustment
    - no wheel configuration of any useful sort (two sliders for ffb strength are EVERYTHING)
    - no pedal configuration or calibration
    - no UI configuration
    - pushy microtransactions
    - slow progress and takes time to get to fun content
    - multiplayer requires unlocking with couple of hours of gameplay
    - a lot of text to scroll down like in 90's rpgs

It's been almost 10 years since we have gotten full Gran Turismo experience.
And I hate to say it - I'm slightly disappointed.

Not by content - there is a LOT of cars and activities.

When it comes to tracks it's not as good - stable selection of known tracks and way too many of imaginary ones that games tends to focus during single player campaign.

Missions, quests, licenses guide you towards progression that means new cars and track. And it is slow - after 20hrs in i'm still somewhere near the start.
Of course game pushes microtransactions everywhere to remind you that it does not need to be that slow, and you can buy progress.

What is not really bad is that very often you are forced into worst possible car/track combo that is just not fun to drive.
On top of that those involving „AI” are basically putting you in the end of a computer generated cars (it's not AI) that are glued to their line and don't react at all to your presence, so they end up being more of an annoyance than competition.

Multiplayer is still fun, just got turned into best combo of tuning parts to win instead of be faster to win. Differences in cars are way bigger than what you will get using default setups vs custom ones in real simulators.

And what is worst - it's a failure in technical department - not graphics as those are excellent for console standards but all other aspects -
want to change FOV? Forget about it - forced to sit really close to 75" TV and feel like a kid in a truck with everything out of scale and problems with judging distance and speed? Bad luck pal.

Want to adjust pedals deadzone? No way to do it.

Want to adjust details in forcefeedback? Nope
Want to adjust wheel angle? Not even nope - even if you want to do it from the wheel itself on start of every race game will autoadjust to what you've set on a wheel making it virtually impossible to change.

Want to adjust UI so it does not burn out your OLED? Nah
Want to move around UI elements so driver list does not impose on rear view mirror? He he he

So still a Gran Turismo game. Nothing more. If you plan to play once in a while on a controller - go for it, you will have a blast. If you want something deeper - that is not a game for you. Get ACC or even first Asseto Corsa. GT7 feels like game from early 2000s with modern graphics - more of a remaster than new original title. When it comes to PC competition - it's way behind. Titles like Automobilista2 just live it in the dust when it comes to driving mechanics, fun and modern engines.

The next generation realism is primarily felt in the outlier situations, and less so in the regular races. The extreme high speeds of the super cars feels absolutely next gen, it is difficult to put into words, but it is unlike any other game - you can truly feel the delicate grip you have to the road, you can hear the wind speed outside of the vehicle, the very subtle camera trembling, it’s all incredible. Another extreme is the handling while going through elevation changes, you can really feel the suspension of the vehicle getting harder or softer when cornering while uphill or downhill. The drastic changes in handling during extreme environment conditions such as rain is very tough and you can feel the fight with the poor grip. The attention to detail is fantastic, for example on a sunny morning track with recent rain, naturally the asphalt dries faster in the sun, so the side of the road that is still in the shade has wet asphalt and worse grip, it’s insane. The dynamic weather and time changes are fantastic. The World Mode menu system was overhyped, it really is just a new presentation of the same menu you would expect. It’s fine, but I find it odd that the based a lot of the hype around this menu system. It almost feels like they added menus and dialogue which take longer for you to actually get into races.

The graphics are stunning, as expected. I personally preferred the ray tracing mode for this game, because the game automatically shows you a replay after you complete your race, and it’s definitely noticeable in the replays. The sound design actually made a bigger impact than I thought - some vehicles are loud and roaring in the cockpit view, while some of the other vehicles are less loud but you can hear the wind resistance and gravel hitting the underneath of the vehicle more clearly. I wasn’t really thinking of the sound design going into the next generation of sim games, but the acoustics of sound bouncing off of surfaces in tunnels and against tall walls makes a huge difference in the replays. Otherwise the sounds are a relatively forgettable soundtrack and the same sound effects you remember from the other GT games.

For racing sim fans, this is the ultimate package, and it reaches new levels of realism. With that being said, I would love to see the GT team take a shot at something new next time. I really like the idea of a full fledged rally game. Imagine racing through heavily wooded areas in a snow storm with the realism of Gran Turismo.

Now to comment on what everyone else is whining about. I don’t like the always online, but it doesn’t bother me. I don’t like the the micro transactions, but it doesn’t bother me. The game really increases with the grinding when you start transitioning from the beginner/sports cars to the super cars, they just become very difficult to attain. It doesn’t ruin the experience, but I just don’t have the time to grind hours for one car to move forward. This doesn’t really begin until around 10 hours into the game. I think this was a terrible move, but it can be easily reversed by just allowing you to sell your extra cars like in any other Gran Turismo game. It lowered my score from an 8 to a 7.

It seems Jim Ryan and other PlayStation executives have seen the success of other greedy predators (WOOPS, publisher's) like Phil Spencer and Xbox (who's Forza Motorsport 5, 6, and 7, Halo Infinite, Halo 5, Halo Wars 2, Gears 4 & 5 all have filthy Micro-transactions in them) and pushing Polyphony Digital to do the same. Some cars can cost up to $29 real world dollars. It's foul, and has been unlike Sony up to this point. Now, I will not be overly slamming Polyphony Digital for the always online connection for the Single Player portion of GT 7. But it is unacceptable. I personally have come not to expect much from PlayStation when it comes to server side support because they have routinely cut support for their games much earlier than their main rivals Xbox. That said, it is still BS as no Single Player portion of any game should rely on internet connection to servers. Stop it.

The game lacks a proper carrer mode and the main progression is tied to what should have been some side challenges for collecting cars and learning about them. The game has a lot of inconveniences for the player. You need to switch menus for things that should be available all in the same menu section. Car maintenance and tuning are separated into different menus screens, wide body kits and regular body kits are also separated in this manner. To simply change the colour of your car you need to create a livery project, choose your main color, save the project and apply it to your car. Cars are separated into 3 different dealerships and the opportunity to buy some cars is only available for a limited time. This wouldn’t be an issue if the game wasn’t obviously putting money roadblocks in your way to try and have you spend on micro transactions. You are unable to sell your cars but the game let’s you buy in game money as micro transactions.

Overall its has fun gameplay and a lot of content but it doesn’t have a player first mentality like the old games had.

The UI is horrendous for a current game with a lot of clicking to move around. The avatars that interact with you look like stolen clip art and very unoriginal. They have never ending dialogue and the cafe owner wants to lecture you on cars every time you try to get new races.

The music is also a mix bag of annoyance, Final Fantasy and 32-bit golf. Why did they feel the need to remix classical music as digitized jazz? It will then flip to a modern song which is jarring. Forza at least offer channels so you can decide what genre to listen to.

The game has also become a live service with all of the trappings of loot, real money for in-game currency and prize wheels. Why do I have to sit through a long, drawn out animation, to see what prize I get.

Both Sony and Polyphony should be ashamed of this game and where it has gone. They took a series that was 100% about cars and racing and made it 10% of a bunch of modern garbage. Spent all the money on ways to make more money and not on the heart of the game.

It’s just weird and to me,it feels like a complete gimmick. “I prepared a menu for you” which are 3 races and 3 cars that you will unlock. What menu? What cafe? I turn this game on to race, not to role play . Feels like a Jrpg system with weird dialogues and not everyone is a fan of those, including myself. The café should be an option but they made the whole single player experience revolve around it. The other thing I really don’t like is the lack of qualifying laps before a race..what? Why are there no qualifiers?? You always start dead last which means you’re going to have to beef up your car and trade paint constantly because you have 5 laps to overtake 15 cars. Again,it’s weird. That’s not how racing works in real life and this is supposed to be the real driving simulator right? Makes gran turismo feel like a cross between a sim and an arcade racer. I don’t understand why polyphony decided to take these unnecessary risks when every single fan just wanted a good old fashioned gt game on current gen consoles. I get it,some people are new to it but include these changes as an option instead of turning the whole game inside out. At least they kept the replays thankfully. 7 out of 10 for me. Expand

All the new stuff around driving is unnecessary and almost frustrating. Probably this is a Gran Turismo which Ubisoft would make. I don’t like the car upgrade section at all and how I can adjust settings. I don’t like the coffee store. I don’t like how the campaign is divided into countries. Too much sequences to skip when you would like just driving. The HDR implementation feels less vibrant. The weather conditions has increased but sunny day looks again almost better than all others. The lens shift effect on the sides doesn’t feel as dramatic as in GT Sport. The sharpening of the asphalt near at bottom of the screen has reduced. In GT7 again, I can’t disable the mirror in the carless view, also I can’t change the vertical angle of the camera.

My biggest concern is the visual fidelity of racing which is almost equal to GT Sport. The raytracing effect isn’t noticeable when driving. The city tracks often looks like playing GT2 on the PS5. At night it doesn’t looks well at all. Weather conditions don’t provide enough visual impact. Just some more trees here and there I have noticed.

Long story short, the best Gran Turismo experience you can get in 2022 was already provided by GT Sport.

    Appendix to the VR mode:
The new VR mode is a huge step into the right direction, it is more serious integrated as GT Sport VR mode. But it couldn’t catch me personally. The immersion isn’t just good enough for me. The car interior really shines out, but everything else outside the car isn’t as much detailed. The feel of drive is good but it is so much far away from the immersion when racing in Wipeout VR. The latter offers still the best racing experience on the Playstation VR system, immersive-wisely.

The game is extremely grindy and dangles pay to win solutions in front of you at any chance it gets. Game is offline for more than a day only a few days after release. No communication whatsoever. If they decide to make the single-player mode online-only to protect their microtransaction system, they should at least be competent enough to keep servers running with a functional version of the game while working on the update. Also, the way they are pushing their 'optional' mtx system is disgusting. How is $70 not enough for a game with such high sale numbers?? Greedy! The game is great but is ruined by horrible executive decisions.

The cars handle really well too - at its' core, it has everything a really decent driving sim needs.

But the menus and user experience is horrendous. As in proper, bafflingly bad. And because of the way the game is designed you are constantly in this menuing system almost as much as on the track, if not more, so it's a complete killer in terms of how enjoyable the experience is.

Add to that very limited free play options - you can't design your own races or just pick from the selection of cars and... well, race. In a racing game. And then add to that an always online requirement for single player and hideous microtransactions that inevitably lead the game design to feature hefty grind mechanics and... well, you have a ball that has been well and truly dropped here.

This should have been great. It isn't. And that's a crying shame. As said, the racing itself is fine - good even - but there's many more games, even within the GT series itself, which does it just as good, if not better, without having to deal with the maddening nonsense that surrounds it in GT7.

Wait for a hefty sale or get it second hand.

Ok so here is my full-fledged 115 HOUR REVIEW of the game:
-Definitely a step up from Sport (but a step down at the same time). GT7 has much more content, a meatier campaign, and a more exciting lineup of cars. However at the same time, the main “campaign” is nothing more than “complete menu book this complete menu book that” and it’s not even that long (20-ish hours or so). And post-game content, at least at launch, isn’t enough, like for example there is only ONE event shown for Mount Panorama, a track that I enjoyed in 6 and Sport. And some cars, ESPECIALLY the Legend cars, are a MASSIVE grind to get. I get it’s based on real-world prices but dang it’s too high.
-The Dualsense features are amazing, it vibrates everytime the car changes gears, and it vibrates in a certain side of the controller when I accidentally go into the shoulder. And it helped me master manual transmission, thus making Automatic for me obsolete.
-Graphics, it's Gran Turismo so of course it's amazing in the graphics department. However sometimes it lags on the PS4 version especially in rainy weather.
    -“I would say the internet-required thing may be worrisome but tbh I have a stable connection so this is more of a nitpick. I'd say as long as they update the game to be playable offline once it has reached the end of its life cycle, then I don't see this much of an issue” says my stupid-a** 1 1/2 months ago. The internet outage during update 1.07/1.08 IMO ruined Gran Turismo’s reputation. The moment GT8 is announced to require an internet connection, HA! COUNT ME OUT. However, that’s not the worst feature of this game;
-The push for a live-service model (microtransactions, feeling incomplete at launch, car rotation/overpricing). Seriously I’ll say it again from my previous review: F**K MICROTRANSACTIONS. I’m never, EVER, paying for sh*t in this game, I already spent $118 for this game, isn’t that enough? And the direction this game is taking to becoming another AAA live-service game by making the game “better” by releasing it unfinished then updating it, it just feels lazy. Like PD made GT4, a game that feels so complete at launch in an era where internet isn’t prevalent, no such thing as a PS Store, and regular updates/patches wasn’t a thing. I want a GT game like that again PD.
-And lastly they patched the SRT Tomahawk glitch through update 1.15 so my only method of grinding credits is now gone sadly. RIP Tomahawk you were a real one.

Verdict: GT7 made me smile in its few hours or so. However that magic disappears once you reach the half-point of the campaign and it drags on post-game. I’m burned out from this game and I’m left disappointed. It might get better overtime but as of right now, it’s best for me to shelf this game and move on to better games.

There was always something I fancied taking for a spin.Oh and don't forget shuffle racing! This was removed from number 6 and was a tell tale sign that Polyphony no longer cared about the fans, about what made rooms fun. From then on its been lacking in content and focused on FIA integration which about 0.00001% of us give a t*ss about. Such a shame. No more city circuits except for the rather boring Tokyo route, still so many classics missing too. The campaign mode is boring compared to older titles. You have to go to cafe, get new thing to do, go back to cafe, rinse and repeat. Pathetic. They've giving it a nice coat of lacquer and it does look good, not amazing, only the cars really look just about next gen, but overall it's good. Problem is, it runs horribly sometimes and races can be consistently stuttering throughout, others every now and then, ruining any immersion. When GT 5 couldn't hold 60 it had screen tearing, which I'd take over stutters any day. If number 5 was still online, I'd most definitely still be playing that. Have fun shuffle racing with a great community and then kit up some everyday cars and have a laugh. It's all gone and what's left is the empty shell of what once was great. This feels like less than half a game when compared to the PS1/2 and 3 era. More than disappointing, to any real GT fan, it's a disgrace. Expand

(EN) Gran turismo 7 has shown great potential since GT 4, realistic graphics, used car returns, licenses etc. The microtransactions will indeed be a future problem but it doesn't completely affect the work. One thing I miss is being able to sell our cars, and also the game's loot could be more generous as we only get a few bucks in the draw. Expand

Good, but after few hours I think it's repetitive and boring. Please polyphony digital, add new events.

Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
