    Cuando un desarrollador saca una secuela de un juego, muchas veces lo tachan de continuista o que parece un DLC. Gotham Knights no es una secuela de la serie Arkham, pero indudablemente en el inconsciente lo comparamos con ellos y si es así, entonces es juego que decepciona.     I see what it could be with more love and at least a year of serious coding and optimization. And that makes it even worse. Because I must say, this is a piece of sad **** and they know it. They knew that this game was not ready to be published. This would be a good game when they published it like "Early Access" but as a full price "Our game is so good" game? Hell no. Don't buy it. Disgusting and real games should ban developers like this, we need to see such developers go extinct there's no place for their evil agendas in fun and games. 30 fps 21 on bike unbelievable spit to the face for every DC fan.

    Very enjoyable Batman game!

    For those who think the combat isn’t as hard hitting as the Arkham games, remember to upgrade your gear after every patrol: the game throws loads of new blueprints, materials and mods at you. That’ll keep you punching hard. Do the Knighthood challenges early to unlock unique traversal modes, they’re fun and make getting around the city easier.

    This game is everything to me, we get to experience the members of the bat family to know how useful and powerful they can be!
    With patches, updates and DLCs, this game will be 10/10!

    This game is one of the most overheated games I’ve seen . It is really good at the story is amazing. The cut jeans are good, but they don’t use of the graphics to their peak potential. One main complaint, a lot of people talk about was how they did not like the combat system. I have thought this through and I think that people are just bad at this game and they won’t admit.     It's ok. I'll first list the things I didn't like and partially annoyed me, afterwards the good things of the game. First of, its looks aren't as good as the could be. Secondly, Gotham seems desolate and the collectables aren't any fun to collect. The game is indeed pretty repetitive and combat techniques aren't as impressive as the ones in other games like this. The last major point ofIt's ok. I'll first list the things I didn't like and partially annoyed me, afterwards the good things of the game. First of, its looks aren't as good as the could be. Secondly, Gotham seems desolate and the collectables aren't any fun to collect. The game is indeed pretty repetitive and combat techniques aren't as impressive as the ones in other games like this. The last major point of criticism is that the traveling combined with the already listed desolate Gotham is pure boredom, it's again really no fun at all.

    Now, finally the things I really like and appreciate about this game. The story lies in the average but the whole backstory of every character is impressively detailed and really heartwarming for true Batman fans. Last but not least, the voice acting is above the average. The emotions are truly well delivered, especially by the main-cast.

    All in all it is a game I'd only recommend true Batman fans to play. If you're not interested in the sidecharacters around Batman andsome fun easter eggs there a many better open-world games you can play.

    Провел в игре кучу времени, взял платину и вот что хочу сказать: после обновления стало действительно лучше, но проседы фпс еще есть. Механика героев не отличается разнообразием. Камера иногда в компании не слушалась, из-за этого тайм трайал пришлось проходить заново. Кнопки для взаимодействия не прожимаются, если не встать под определенным углом. В игре есть куча ненужные механикПровел в игре кучу времени, взял платину и вот что хочу сказать: после обновления стало действительно лучше, но проседы фпс еще есть.     The story is greatly thought out and very interesting though it may not be perfect and has some weaker moments. The main characters we have here have charm and all have different personalities and feelings and struggles. The graphics are pretty great and the game may run at 30 but honestly it doesn't take that long until you get used to it.

    And lastly the gameplay, the strongest part of the game and the game that has the most potential, the gameplay is extremely good and all the characters play differently and are all fleshed out. I don't understand the hate for the gameplay here, its truly very good and satisfying when using all your momentum abilities, hacking electronics or beating down foes with Barbara, using your piercing bullets from a range and being a brawler with Red Hood, using his acrobatic skills to his advantage and bouncing from enemy to enemy with Nightwing, playing stealthy, using your staff to strike enemies fluidly and teleporting from enemy to enemy with Robin. It's all so good!

    Some key issues I have with the game however is levels can sometimes be tedious to get through as the level design isn't very well thought out and honestly very average. Some story missions feel very lazy and half assed forcing you to do some crimes and just slapping a cutscene at the end of it. The gear system can monotonous as you constantly have to create new gear when leveling up and swapping your current gear with gear that just does more damage and so on and so forth. Some enemies are just very annoying and tedious to get through as some higher tier enemies or the talons for example will continuously dodge your attacks. And a final complaint would be the fact that sometimes you may have to grind to do certain missions or you'll find that enemies/bosses will be health sponges and it can get very annoying.

    But overall, we have a very solid game here and I would recommend it to anyone, the core of the game has lots of potential for a sequel with the main issue being that the game is just rough around the edges in a lot of aspects, but again with the main core mechanics, story and characters being overall very good. 8/10    … Expand

The game gates story missions behind grindy fodder content, clearly designed for a live service game that was changed into a co-op one-off action adventure game late into development. The poor performance of this game across platform does not help matters.

Arkham Knight had more love put into it and creativity, We are no longer in a age where technology is a bottleneck. it's the creativity of the devs, But damn it why did they decide to limit the FPS to 30?     Una decepción. Soy fanático de los Arkham y del universo Batman y este juego es un insulto a lo creado en los tres anteriores. Repetitivo, simplón y sin carisma. Coge lo mejor de la saga Arkham, los combates y la exploración, y lo hace aburrido, monótono y repetitivo. Dejé el juego a mitad y lo vendí.

There are some odd things with how the grappling hook targets perches and how you sometimes get a bit stuck on top of the perch and need to jerk around a bit to get loose. I have had no framerate issues. It doesn't try to be an Arkham game, so why are people comparing them? It is not like peopleEnjoyable coop experience with great takes on lovable villains, a good story and fluid combat. The games combat is passable for what it’s trying to focus on (being online multiplayer), but it gets bogged down by certain points that felt like they had co-op in mind. As for the writing and story, it’s mediocre.     I though the pacing was very slow, running is slow, combat is slow, the motorcycle is kinda slow and janky and you have to unlock the gliding hability. This seems to me like a trick to make the game last longer. Story is fine. AI ia not very smart. The chapters structure doesn't seem to make that much sense to me, but it's not really a problem. visuals are not really next gen.

    Finished the game, IK the performance is terrible at optimization, but yeah the game story was good and somewhat immersive. I also would love to see they bring Batman back in a DLC to play. The four characters are totally unique and have the potential to make them different.     One of the worst games I have played in 2022. It doesn't even look like a next gen game with poor graphics and frame drops. The story is horrible with unlikable characters and villains. Even the voice acting is bad. Travelling through Gotham is slow and boring. I know is a different game from the original trilogy but damn ... they didnt even try.

    I wasn't that bothered with the frame rate or graphics. The city looked nice, the story is OK, and I actually enjoyed the different suits you can craft for each character. It was a fun premise to play with the bat family. The problem for me was the gameplay and combat which felt clunky, slow, and repetitive. I'm not sure why they decided to do a button smasher vs the incredibly fun thatI wasn't that bothered with the frame rate or graphics. The city looked nice, the story is OK, and I actually enjoyed the different suits you can craft for each character. It was a fun premise to play with the bat family. The problem for me was the gameplay and combat which felt clunky, slow, and repetitive. I'm not sure why they decided to do a button smasher vs the incredibly fun that was free flow combat from the arkham games. Couldn't finish it yet as it gets so boring.… Expand

    Gotham Knights is a fun co-op experience, but is weighed down by horrible writing, repetitive combat, and clunky mechanics (which an update yesterday actually fixed some of). If you enjoy the Batman mythos (as everyone should), you will enjoy this game. If you expect this to be an award winning Rocksteady like Arkham game, you will be immensely disappointed. Go in with low expectations,Gotham Knights is a fun co-op experience, but is weighed down by horrible writing, repetitive combat, and clunky mechanics (which an update yesterday actually fixed some of). If you enjoy the Batman mythos (as everyone should), you will enjoy this game. If you expect this to be an award winning Rocksteady like Arkham game, you will be immensely disappointed. Go in with low expectations, grab a friend, have fun, and you'll enjoy this like you would watching a bad movie in a theater with friends.     Graphics - There is a video in the wild that is gaining popularity comparing this game with Arkham Knight. It's pretty clear that the game from 7 years ago is graphically superior, which is odd. Beside the much ballyhooed lack of 60 FPS in a current generation game, there are a lot of quirks in the game's physics engine whose oversight is    I'll break down why I give this game a 4.

    Graphics - There is a video in the wild that is gaining popularity comparing this game with Arkham Knight. It's pretty clear that the game from 7 years ago is graphically superior, which is odd. Beside the much ballyhooed lack of 60 FPS in a current generation game, there are a lot of quirks in the game's physics engine whose oversight is baffling. Red Hood's hoodie drawstrings famously stick straight out at a 90 degree angle, Batgirl's cape hangs limply over one shoulder while she blasts down the road on the Batcycle, etc. You can't put out tripe like this and then also throw a $70 price tag on it. Further, Gotham City itself is devoid of almost all life. Civilians exist but you will likely only see 3-4 at a time, if that.

    Controls - I've been playing video games for just over 40 years now, and I can say that Gotham Knights' controls are some of the worst I've encountered. There's no way to lock onto enemies so you often end up attacking randomly. The camera gets stuck on objects so you end up attacking nothing. Your character will come to a full sudden stop if they come close to any object higher than their foot. Interacting with objects like computers or boxes requires that you be in a precise range and face the object square on, otherwise you only see that you can interact with the object but not do anything with it (despite the fact that it is only six inches to your left). You are often left traveling around using the grapple gun, and the game has almost no logic as to where you will fire. Want to go straight up? Maybe you can, maybe not. Want to jump across the street towards an objective? Maybe you fire backwards or straight up instead. Extremely frustrating.

    Game play - The basic game play loop is just that...basic. Light and heavy melee, light and heavy ranged attacks, and a dodge. That's it. No parry, no cool gadgets beyond your chosen characters' ranged weapon. You can grab enemies once you've weakened them for some strikes or a throw which does no damage on its own. You have "Momentum" moves that let you use new attacks, but are fairly useless as they often only delete one or two enemies. The gear system is nice for the character customization, but other than that, it is just another chore. Travel is done via either the aforementioned grapple gun, which is terrible, or by Batcycle, which is nearly as bad. You can run over the few citizens you see with no consequence. Hitting a wall or another vehicle has no consequence other than bringing you to a sudden halt. The Batcycle is what I would expect to see in a $5 shovelware title, not an alleged AAA game. There a lot of "challenges" to finish but they are virtually all the same thing. There are collectibles as well, but between how numerous they are, how lifeless the city is, and how bland the gameplay is, I don't know how anyone can stomach collecting them all.

    All in all, this one is a huge disappointment. There are a LOT of QOL improvements that could be made to maybe get this one another point, maybe two, but at its core, Gotham Knights is just not a good game. I don't know that I can recommend it even when it inevitably goes on sale.    … Expand

    Red hood shouldn't be moving anything like that nor Robin. The characters and story feel rushed.
    The graphics are OK. All in all its an OK game by people you can tell aren't DC fans and haven't really pushed the game past the last one.

Either don't revive batman or let him STAY alive, the way they did it just makes you so disappointed. FPS kinda sucks but it's mostly fine. The gameplay is great and I've seen many reviews on YouTube that say the gameplay repetitive but it's not. The city was made well but there aren't very enticing incentives for exploring it. Also the Nighthood suits (the best suits in the game) being only transmogs was disappointing too as colorways can't be applied to transmogs, not to mention that they dont have cowl, symbol, glove, or shoe options. The same goes for the **** suits that are locked behind DLC. The stealth is very well done and the combat system using momentum bars works very well. Also the skills unlocked via the ability trees neither make you seem too overpowered, nor do they seem meaningless. btw fire whoever designed Jason Todd's hoodie strings… Expand

    Really feels like a last gen title. EVGA RTX 3090 FTW3 ultra, and the stuttering is unbearable! Game lacks any sort of polish to it and feel like another generic rushed out cash grab. And to top it off, pre-rendered cut scenes?!!!! Come on WB Montréal, you should know better.

Half baked graphics, 14 hour long main story with no side content, janky controls that feel like ps3 era, can’t even run a stable 30 frames (constantly dips below 20), and a DISGUSTINGLY predictable storyline. This is a free to play game at best. Save your money.

If you genuinely enjoy DC comics and it’s characters then you will love this. I’m also not a FPS baby as I have played many successful games at 30Fps(plague tale). I preordered it knowing it wasn't a continuation of the Arkham series, and instead knew it was a new spin. I've currently done all the Mr.Freeze, Clayface, and Harley side quests and am about level 25. I've seen really no glitches, the combat is more arpg like than the Arkham series. The storyline is compelling and has me wanting to play more. People complaining about the 30fps have either not been gaming long or haven't done the homework. It’s flashy, has some decent variety in enemy types and crimes, and just has not gotten boring for me. The story is interesting. It’s engaging, it feels decently rooted in the city you run around in. A city I’m aiming to 100% just like Spider-Man. It’s a comic book game, don’t get me wrong, but it wears this on its sleeve and still manages to at least touch on the multi-dimensional layers a human can have. The game knows it’s gritty, nonsensical, and flashy. The characters even know this. The suits and color ways are absolutely mint to go through and wear out on the town. I mainly main Red-Hood but can be quite honest when I’ve found myself losing time with the other characters and their options. It’s steeped in variety and gives incentive to actually wear the new gear you craft or catch (unlike Avengers/Marvel’s Numbers) I’m still randomly swapping out suits for either elemental reasons, critical chance reasons, or style; often the game aligns all three of these at once in a suit for me. I’m in love.

    Is it worth it for 70$?? I don’t think most games are without a decent amount of support for the game given after launch. As for right now, without the optimization rolled out, gauntlet mode released, or possible DLCs mentioned, I’d only recommend this game for about $45-$55 range. I think the developers should definitely reap the rewards of their efforts but I, like most, worry about my own financial/enjoyment situation more than I do being persuasive. It’s a fun game. More fun if you love the characters. Story holds onto you, world is just flashy and interesting enough to keep you, combat feels very open to many styles. Worth it for me!! 81/100    … Expand

    After spending 50+ hours in this game, I can safely say the critics are wrong about this one. It is very similar to Marvels Spiderman games, mixed with elements of Destiny. Combat is a blast and Gotham is so much fun to navigate around. The story is great too.

    This game feels like it was trying to do the Arkham series without doing anything Arkham was known for stripping it of perfected mechanics. Like the gliding and grappnel that felt smooth is replaced with jerky jumps and grapples that stop you dead each time , stealth has been all but cut with previously stated imprecise landings, overly long stealth take downs, no gadgets, poor hiding, and enemies that can’t even be taken down stealthily or not which makes the whole thing moot.

    All in all a poor showing especially for a game with so much potential and a previous legacy that had already perfected it. I’d say don’t waste your money and just replay Arkham City with mods. You get something a bit new and you don’t have to pay $70.    … Expand

    There is nothing to do in the open world. It's just a boring and lifeless world. The developers had a trailer showing off the batcycle in slow motion, and I can now see why they did that. It was to hide the fact that the batcycle in this game is extremely slow. You would think that a futuristic sports bike would at least feel faster than a soccer mom's minivan. Forget the minivan, this poor excuse of a motorcycle is even slower than a garbage truck. Despite how slow the bike is, this game still somehow manages to drop in FPS when driving it. That just proves how lazy the developers are to optimize their game.

    The co-op multiplayer is a complete joke. You can only play up to 2 players. Are you freaking kidding me? There are four playable characters in this game. One would assume we would be able to play up to 4 players, but the developers were too cheap and lazy for that. I don't recommend this poor excuse of a next-gen game at all.

    Recomendaría probar el juego cuando los problemas de rendimiento se arreglen con futuros parches y por supuesto cuando este a un precio menor. 70 dolares por un juego como este es una estupidez.    … Expand

    Jesus Cristo, impeçam a WB Montreal de produzir jogos da DC. Este jogo consegue ser inferior em TODOS os quesitos comparado ao Arkham Knight de 2015.

    This game is alot of fun solo (and with a friend) gameplay is fun and combat is great however it is different to arkham Points docked for mediocre back end and technical issues

    The game is a ton of fun for fans of DC and the Batman Family. Even if you don't know much about them, the combat is not Arkham but it's excellent in its own right. The gameplay loop is quite addictive. My only wish would be that I could take an AI companion with me if I wanted. It is only 30fps on PS5, but it doesn't ruin the experience, at least for me, at all.

    And those who criticize the optimized in-game have forgotten that Arkham Knight on PC has 30fps

    Really good game has its issues but other than that it's really good, some great boss fights and missions, only problem is the fps drops and sometimes weird animations. Awesome costumes to unlock and loads of criminals to beat.

    30+ hrs into the game, and it's evident that this game needs the player to put those initial hours in to really open up (similar to days gone), but once it does open up, it's almost like a love letter to the bat family comic book fans! This game is in no way unnecessary or bad. It's above average in the initial hours, and good to almost a masterpiece post those hours!     I don't know about others but I love this game. When it comes to wanting a game that really makes you feel like being a superhero this is the best I have ever played. Going out night after night and waging war on crime of the worst city in the world. This is exactly what I wanted and what I got.

    I’m sick of all the whingy cringe, cry babies carrying on about a game they haven’t played because of “30 FPS” or that have played it comparing it to the Arkham series. Do I get a few frame rate drops? Yes but I also got them in elden ring and we all know how that game was received.

    This game has had so few glitches and problems that I am thoroughly surprised the game actually exists. It is not an Arkham game and stop comparing it to it. “Oh but it’s the same studio” yeah but not the same team… do the same barista make your coffee at every franchise? Exactly, quit it.

    The combat is fluid, the bike controls like a dream (albeit a little slower that you’d expect…) the story is good, character development is good, character design is good, world building is good, everything about the game is good. This game isn’t a masterpiece, sure but it definitely does not deserve the hate it’s been receiving. Gamers need to quit it with jumping on hate bandwagons for stupid reasons.    … Expand

    The game is not bad and serves you a lot. You want a hero? You have four. Want big missions? Usually you have about three going at once. You want side missions? You've got a city full of them. Which doesn't mean it's a great game. Just good and solid. [Issue#323]

    Not being content with being one of the most soulless products released under the Warner Bros. label, it is also extremely underwhelming from a technical point of view. Gotham Knights was originally developed as a multi-gen title, but PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions got cancelled. Despite this, the visuals underwhelm and fail to impress and manage to look worse than the last major Batman instalment released seven years prior. Capping at a mere 30fps might be excusable if this boasted the most cutting edge visuals on the market, but it manages to look cheap and dated. For a AAA production from Warner Bros., this should have been a visual tour de force, with top writing talent, and have evolved the gameplay to compete with its contemporaries. Maybe it can be salvaged over time with updates, but currently it's one of the most droll and sloppily designed triple-A products of 2022.

    Gotham Knights would be a great game, its sandbox approach to exploring Gotham is top-notch and its story keeps you just engaged enough to keep playing. The problem lies in the game’s lackluster combat and endless fighting cycles of beating up the same factions over and over and over with little to no variation to dialogue.
