Aug 6, 2021Honestly this game I played months ago and couldn't bring myself to finish. It was completely forgettable and the combat adds nothing new to action gameplay. It looks decent and has fast loading screens, but the voice acting was garbage and the maps are uninspired.

May 23, 2022Expected a better game overall....
Pros
1. One of the best looking games on PS5
2. Combat is addictive and fast paced
3. Valorplates and weapons look amazing in my opinion
Cons
1. Too repetitive 2. Very grindy and boring endgame
3. Story is non existent 4. Dying is inconsequential as there is little to no penalty -

is it worth 60? no not at all, is it incredibly fun? yes! the combat and loot/min max experience feels really good and overall it seems very polished in the loot/combat department. How can the game be improved? idk but the game is missing something, idk what it is but when you play you will notice that it just doesn't feel full -
Nov 16, 2020Awesome graphics and combat but the story is a little thin. Great to look at and play though.

Aug 4, 2022Looks great but anything else is not.
Gameplay is fun but repetitive, the story is laughable. There is a conflict but the characters have the personality of a potato and the backstory. -

May 1, 2021Sabe...

Nov 24, 2020Godfall is sadly another game with good potential but lacking execution. From the lacking story to the repetitive missions. But its not all negative, the open world is beautifully shaped and the mechanics feel good. Would reccomend to buy Godfall in a sale and not for full price.

Nov 15, 2020Juego bastante deficiente y que se repite en demasía. Si puedes pruébalo antes de adquirirlo

Dec 4, 2020The story is your average "Guy turns to bad guy" story. The fighting is confusing, like really? No canceling attacks? The missions are bland. It's a scam.

Dec 31, 2021To me godfall is the definitive meh game.
It's not bad but not good either, combat is alright but nothing special(and a little confusing at first trying aim using a cross-hair in a strictly melee focused game) , and the cut-scenes somehow come off as ridiculous and overly serious at the same time.
Like I said it's not a bad game but I also wouldn't recommend playing it. -
Nov 15, 2020Good graphics terrible gameplay zero fun gets more repetitive than sea of thieves empty world terrible boss respawns virtual broken on pc save your money

Dec 1, 2021Unfortunately the game seemed like a hack n slash mobile phone game ..although it has fantastic visuals n does make great use of the ps5 ,also the audio is of very high quality ..but I couldn't tolerate the game my self had an hour or 2 and never returned to it

Nov 14, 2020the game is very expensive it is not worth it all and still does not have subtitles in portuguese, thankfully I won the free game in the promotion of AMD

Nov 24, 2020Not a good game at all .. but is not a 0 that's for sure, the story if it can be called like that is almost non existent, game is repetitive and not rewarding (for all the grind). The only think positive are the graphics and even like that is not something that I would call next gen...

Nov 21, 2020This is a $20 indie game with a shiny coat of paint trying to act like a $70 AAA game. It also has severe stuttering and frame rate issues that affect the gameplay. Wait till the price drops and the patches to fix it up.

Nov 18, 2020Very repetitive combat, lack of content, and very buggy. No diversity of combat, no story, and the devs already said they aren't gonna improve on the game. For 70 bucks the game isn't worth it, it's not worth it at a lower cost in the future with no plans from the devs to improve on the game

Dec 2, 2020This game has some stellar graphics, and also pretty fluid combat mechanics. My biggest gripe is that because there is no matchmaking. The game is advertised as an online only 3 player co-op looter. The bosses are designed for 3 players. Yet there is no in game matchmaking. This makes you mostly end up playing solo which can be extra difficult for some boss fights. GAME NEEDS MATCHMAKING!!

CD-ActionJun 9, 2021The only thing Godfall has going for it is its great combat system. Everything else just came along for the ride. [01/2021, p.42]

Feb 10, 2021Godfall doesn’t do anything egregious or worse than any of the other disappointing looters of this generation, but it does almost everything equally as badly in a weird perfect balance. This is what makes it so frustrating. There is definite potential for a gem inside this game, but it’s so busy with being a downright average-at-best looter that it loses all semblance of actual personality, a key component to maintaining a looter game. Impressively non-existent story, incredibly derivative art, classes which mean absolutely nothing, a deceptively small loot pool, technical issues up the wazoo, terrible endgame design and a horrific netcode all add up to a visually pleasing but soulless affair that can’t even begin to escape being categorised as anything more than a flashy tech demo.

Jan 25, 2021After wrapping Godfall, I was left with the feeling that it’s going to be a one-and-done. I can’t see myself doing its endless trials or repeating the endgame boss fights — it just doesn’t feel like there’s anything more to work towards. The graphics are great and the combat is enjoyable, but it gets samey too quickly and ends up as a typical next-generation launch game that will be soon forgotten.
