    Highly recommend. Also, side quest is crazy!!!

    God of war ragnarök is a masterpiece level game. We rarely see such a story presentation next to great action.

    Overall, a disappointment. The current director is nowhere near as talented as the last one. Playinh as Atreus on GMGW mode is pathetic. I had fun for awhile, but this game does not have any replayability value. Its just an average game really.

    Same game as 2018 with a couple little things added, your typical repetitive Sony game that follows a safe formula. Your freedom in this game is very limited kinda like Uncharted where you can only climb on yellow painted ledges because Sony thinks we are too dumb to know where to jump.

    The game is filled to the brim with bugs and just interruptive and bad enemy design. When playing you feel far more anger than fun. Riddles are nice but thats not the point of a god of war game. The characters are bland and annoying. To justify a "part 2" the equipment gets stuffed with new "pseudo pieces" that feel just unneccessary.     This game left me speechless. I had high hopes after the last GOW game, but that one also set the bar so damn high, i could only hope that Ragnarök would be equally good. And my expectations and hopes were blown out of the water. This is the pinnacle of gaming. The story by itself is better than any movie i have seen in my life. The way Kratos and Atreus develop and grow during the game is inspiring. And i love how the game is a perfect continuation of the first game, and has a perfect ending too.

    There are a lot more new and terrifying enemies, a lot more gods, bigger map, better side quests, and more beautiful atmosphere than in any game ever!

    I am truly inspired by all the people who had a hand in creating this game, you all rock!

    I laughed, i cried, i screamed and had intense moments. This game marked a moment in time for me.

    The story telling plus the gameplay combine… just shows how Sony is ages ahead of all the competition. Amazing game!

Y'all HAVE to tell me how is that **** deserving of more than 5/10, when the gameplay should've been way better, we could've had dual wielding, have the capacity to switch characters during battle (like any proper rpg), jump + air combos, future Atreus & another weapon. Why is the plot full of inconcistencies, like why neither Atreus nor Kratos understand that Durlinn is aIt's trash. Y'all HAVE to tell me how is that **** deserving of more than 5/10, when the gameplay should've been way better, we could've had dual wielding, have the capacity to switch characters during battle (like any proper rpg), jump + air combos, future Atreus & another weapon. Why is the plot full of inconcistencies, like why neither Atreus nor Kratos understand that Durlinn is a traitor & the weird behavior of Tyr is because he is Odin disguised? Or are they just braindead in this entry? & yes, it IS a plot hole or an inconsistency, 'cause they are SUPPOSED to be extremely smart, Kratos back in Greece solved giant puzzles crafted by Daedalus, the creator of the labyrinth & Atreus is his son... why couldn't they see right through fake Týr? Why is Odin sooooo dumb? I mean, you don't go to some1 who is searching for a supposed dead man & show/express you're bothered or annoyed by it. It basically confirms the dude is ALIVE! Ok it was so that he could trick them & gather info by posing as him, but he NEVER used anything he learned among his enemies to have a leg up, so he's a moron regardless… Expand

    I A good game and the best game I played and brought platinum in it, but it has a negative, which is if they made the series more than 3 parts and gave more space to the story

    The game's combat was freaking amazing a straight 10/10, the best soundtracks ever in a God Of War game but the story was lacking not in a bad story sense but it was lacking the momentum of a God Of War game so id give 8/10 to story.. so all that said 9/10 is a perfect score for this game..

    the game is perfect in a lot of ways everything is good in this game. The story good,gameplay good,characters good even the side quests are good and I didn't get bored at all. and if heard something wrong about it is just Elden Ring stupid fans

    But damn the fight system is just **** Almost trying to be a demon souls game which is clearly not.
    The blocking System is just awful and very uncreative. This for me completely destroys the whole game. Even if everything else is insanely good.

    I can't help but tip my hat to the entire Santa Monica team. The deeper you delve into the game, the more you'll be drawn into the stunning story of a father and son against the backdrop of perhaps history's most horrific war. Throw in some casually endearing humour, great and fluid gameplay, and wrap it all up with an amazing audiovisual experience. [Issue#323]

    Thanks to an amazing cast that’s doing an outstanding job, a compelling story told through the eyes of multiple characters, and top-notch combat, this epic and heartfelt journey strikes all the right chord. It’s impossible not to recommend God of War Ragnarok, but just in case you had any doubts, I strongly advise anyone mildly interested in gaming to play Santa Monica Studio’s latest masterpiece.
