    Un des meilleurs jeux auquel j’ai pu jouer. Bien meilleur que le dernier Horizon ! On ne s’en lasse pas. Je suis même allé jusqu’à le platiner !
    L’ajout de l’île d’iki est vraiment une bonne chose. Comptez environ 150 heures de jeu pour tout finir et rincer le jeu en platine ou une 20aine d’heures je dirais pour finir juste l’histoire principale.
    La direction artistique est scandaleusement    Un des meilleurs jeux auquel j’ai pu jouer. Bien meilleur que le dernier Horizon ! On ne s’en lasse pas. Je suis même allé jusqu’à le platiner !

    If there is ONE REVIEW you can trust, I want you to put all your faith into me and take my word when I say this game is one of the best open world games ever and it’s well worth every penny you spend on it. The PS4 version was good, but the PS5 version takes this game to the next level. The PS4 version was good, but the PS5 version takes this game to the next level. The resolution and frames per second are nicely enhanced, as well as the loading times which are INSANELY fast. The sheer level of detail within the world such as the foliage, particle effects, character details, and just the overall diversity in the world is breathtaking.

    The controls are very responsive and the adaptive triggers are SO well implemented. Just traveling across a bridge or different form of terrain will change how the triggers react. You can feel every bit of pressure when you pull back on the bow. The soundtrack and voice acting is very good. NOTE: I played it with Japanese audio and English subtitles which is the way I highly suggest you play it. It made it more immersive and I found the Japanese voice acting to be really good. You can really hear the emotion in the dialogue even if it’s not your native language.

    Ghost of Tsushima made me put these incredible developers near the top of my list for favorite developers in the industry. Their previous works were good, I enjoyed all the Infamous titles and earned all the trophies for them, but Ghost of Tsushima is in a different universe in terms of quality and the love that has been poured into it is overwhelming. This game to me solidified Sucker Punch as some of the best in the business. Please support amazing developers, especially ones who you can tell poured their heart and soul into the game like they did on this one. I expected some fun combat, but what impressed me most was the amazing story and dialogue, especially the further you get into the game. I’ve literally played every game you can think of, but this game in particular impressed me the most with its story telling because I did not expect such a powerful and epic journey as the one you get in this game. The way the story unfolds and its discussion of Honor and how far will you go to stand by it even in a time when people don’t deserve it, is just so cool and a great idea for this setting. The code of the Samurai is Honor, and sometimes living by tradition or not evolving when the world around you is dishonorable can ultimately cost you everything. The Expansion ‘Iki Island’ is gorgeous and again, the story is massively impressive(especially towards the end), and it made me tear up. Overall, one of the best stories in an open world game, ever. Overall, Ghost of Tsushima ends up in my TOP 3 favorite open world games of all time. It cements itself with The Witcher 3 and the original Red Dead Redemption. I’m so thankful for these developers and this phenomenal game. Thank you so much Sucker Punch. If you’re reading this and you haven’t played it yet, GO BUY IT! It’s a must own for PS5.    … Expand

    Loved the core game and this is one of the the best open world action games ever created. The landscapes are just breathtaking and the story and characters are just amazing. If you enjoy AC Valhalla you will definitely love this game. Now that is taking advantage of the PS5 hardware the game is even better barely takes two seconds to load the game.

    I bought the deluxe version of this game back when it first came out and platinumed it.
    Being able to play this again with rock solid 60fps and 4k native plus haptic feedback makes it worth playing again. Also the added lip sync to jp audio makes it a little better to watch the cutscenes even though its nowhere perfect but it wasn't in the English one either so no big deal.

    Screw the haters, sure im not that much of a fan of the 10 bucks upgrade as it should have been free imo. But i think the game deserves the extra cash and then some for giving us such a great experience with the multiplayer for free. Also to you people saying there is no difference from this game on ps5 and ps4. You either 1 need stronger glasses or 2 have not played it and are lying.
    Because there are distinct changes to the game on ps5 that ps4 users can only dream of.
    With crazy fast load times, 60 fps native 4k and haptic feedback from the controller there are plenty of great stuff added to a already legendary game so please STFU    … Expand

    An exceptional upgrade over the original that you only understand when you actually play the game . Absolutely mind-blowing graphics lots of quality of life tweaks no loading and plenty of new content makes this a complete package. 80% of people haven't played the game so ignore them

    The bad: maybe too much of a good thing. Ghost of Tsushima has the same issues with open world gameplay people complain about with games like Horizon Forbidden West and the Assassin's Creed franchise. There are questions marks everywhere and most are the same things: follow the fox, cut down bamboo, or collect a headband. Side quest all boil down to go there and kill this. This is why most people never finish games. (My advice for anyone thinking of abandoning a game is to instead lower the difficulty and stick to the main story missions.) A lot of the bloat is ameliorated by the tight focus of the missions and side missions. My play through was a little over 40 hours, which is quick for this kind of game.

    The controls max out every possible button and button combination to the point that you will constantly hit the wrong button at the wrong time. The clutter of controls is very reminiscent of Read Dead Redemption 2 and the tendency of the player to accidently gun down NPCs instead of saying hello. One thing Ghost of Tsushima does that could be fixed for the ease of the player are battle stances. You have to select different stances to fight swords men, shield men, or pike men. Why not have the Ghost auto select the stance depending on the enemy? One less button combo to press would very much help the player.

    One of the best PlayStation exclusives ever just got even more awesome! Incredible story, visuals and music lift this game up to an amazing experience that is steeped in Japanese mythology. This is the definitive version with all content and next gen upgrades - the only way to play this emotional masterpiece. Can’t wait for the next instalment, bravo Sucker Punch!

    I haven't got to play this game yet, but I will consider this version a reason to buy a PS5 along other reasons of course. I just don't think that it's fair that this game get review bombed, because some people are unsatisfied with paying for an upgraded version.

    Amazing game, the story is a bit bland but the overall game is very much worth playing. The quality of life upgrades and the expansion are great. This is a must have for PS5 owners.

    Definitely one of the best looking games on the PS5. Nearly everything is top tier in this game except I find climbing pretty bad, the AI can sometimes be dumb and few other nit picks is why the game didn't get a 10 from me

    GoT was already an amazing game, and this just added to that. Do I think it was bad for them to charge for the PS5 upgrade? Yes, but I had to pay way more when the console first came out to upgrade other games, and I don’t have a problem paying $30 to a company who made an amazing game.

    Then I upgraded to a PS5 and sold all I had of PS4 games with my PS4.
    The little I had played it, I remembered I had a BLAST! Now that it got a proper PS5 release (I'm no fan of gameboost or whatever minor ways they try to upgrade PS4 games to PS5...) I decided to get it again! This is the best game I've played in    I only caught a glimpse of Ghost of Tsushima on my late PS4 days...
    Then I upgraded to a PS5 and sold all I had of PS4 games with my PS4.
    The little I had played it, I remembered I had a BLAST!

    Now that it got a proper PS5 release (I'm no fan of gameboost or whatever minor ways they try to upgrade PS4 games to PS5...) I decided to get it again!

    This is the best game I've played in a very long while!
    There's TON of gameplay, Quests, Collectibles... I'm 34hours into the game and I'm about halfway (from what I guess...)

    It is AMAZING and I can't put it down!
    Difficulty is ramping up just nice too!
    By the end of Act 1, I tought that the game was getting easy but by Act2, I realised ennemies are now dodging more, have more abilities and more health.

    If you like open world games with A LOT to do, you owe it to yourself to get this game!
    If you did play it for PS4, I do understand it's not worth its full MSRP for you but see no reason to give it a 0 rating for that matter...    … Expand

Its a love letter to the samurais amazing Japan and all in all this one of those legendary games that set the reference. Do not believe those negative scores, they unfortunately not able to get their hands or aDidn't play the version on PS4 when it came out. Now playing it in on Ps5 its simply amazing.     O game está simplesmente fantástico! Tudo que se exige de um triple A está ali, e é digno de um game de nova geração ( mesmo não sendo). A concorrência tem que comer muito arroz e feijão pra chegar nesse patamar aí. Parabéns à Sucker Punch Productions.

    I am so happy I gave this game another chance. At first I thought it was just an Assassin's Creed clone so I traded in my PS4 copy. But this time I played the whole story, and it is amazing. Once you get through the first act it really takes off. There is one part where you are defending a castle, and it is one of my favorite parts in gaming.     Almost perfect game made better. Feels refreshed. The haptic support alone is worth the upgrade… FLUTE HAPTICS. Paywall? Y’all can’t afford $10 to get the next gen features? The graphics are the same, the game is the same… don’t hate on an amazing game because of your principles.

    Finally Ghost of Tsushima gets a better score, but still deserve higher. The dualsense implementation with the haptic feedback and adaptative triggers make it feel like a new game. The new Island Ikki DLC, new armor, new stance, new horse armor, and new enemies and boss. The $20 for the PS4 and $30 for the Ps5 so worth it.

Much like Naughty Dog had progression from platforming with Crash Bandicoot, to Jak & Daxter, and arriving to large storytelling with Uncharted & The Last of Us, Sucker Punch has done the same. Sly Cooper served as their foundation, Infamous was honest fun, and now Ghost ofAs a lifelong fan of Sucker Punch, I took a full month to play through their newest masterpiece, Ghost of Tsushima. Much like Naughty Dog had progression from platforming with Crash Bandicoot, to Jak & Daxter, and arriving to large storytelling with Uncharted & The Last of Us, Sucker Punch has done the same. Sly Cooper served as their foundation, Infamous was honest fun, and now Ghost of Tsushima surpasses them both and pushes them to that same level of masterful storytelling. Ghost of Tsushima is an absolute beauty. The gorgeous environments are so breathtaking I could spend another month just riding around the beautiful island of Tsushima, seeing falling leaves, crashing waves, and adorable foxes. Being put in the shoes of a lovable main character in Jin adds another level of joy as he struggles with the concept of right and wrong based from how he was raised versus how the pain of war unfolds. Along the way you meet many characters with their own side quest lines, and honestly they were equally as enjoyable as the main story.

    The combat in this game was also perfection; Sucker Punch clearly learned a lot from both Sly Cooper and Infamous and put them both to work here, mixing elements of hack and slash with stealth and techniques, this game truly was perfection from beginning to end. It's also very generous with checkpoints and giving you a bit of health if you keep dying at any portions.

    If I have any complaint at all about this game, it's only a minor gripe about some of the side-quests and some of the main narrative. This is not a happy game; it has beautiful moments and things that make you smile, but this is war and war is not pretty, and sometimes the side-quests reflect this by being terribly depressing with no good feels to walk away with, and I do prefer a bit of balance. But that really is a tiny drop in the a large beautiful ocean that is Ghost of Tsushima.    … Expand

    One of my favorite games ever just got better. Glad to have more. The devs have really outdone themselves. I can see the fake people are at it with the review bombing and frankly this game is well done. Is it for everyone? No probably not but it's incredible and amazing for the people that want this kind of game. Can't wait to see what the future brings. With this company and for Ghost.

    I have been playing ps4 version of ghost of tsushima on my ps5. As soon as I downloaded and played ps5 dc version I immediately see the jump in graphics and gameplay improvements. The dual sense features are implemented in JIN's movement, sword and most of interaction. 3d audio is nicely implemented in following guiding wind.

    Ghost of Tsushima is a stunning game. I have never before played a game with such a vibrant open world. It feels lived-in, it feels living. Before GoT I never experienced ASMR from a video game. Now I do. The falling of leaves, petals etc make this a magical world akin to something from a Studio Ghibli film. Equal parts Journey, Bushido Blade and Tenchu this is a game that has been constructed to please the people who forked out for it. Comparing it to TLOU2 is unfair to Naughty Dog because GoT blows it away. I dont know why anyone would choose TLOU2's edgelord nihilism over the magic of GoT - a game whose creators went out of their way to make enjoyable. Also comparisons to Assassins Creed persist but speaking as a fan of AC since the first one (though not so much recently) I am not throwing the games under the bus when I say that AC has never been this good. Not even close. Jin Sakai is a great MC who veers away from the preaching that has become commonplace in Western games and proves that gamers do not need forced MCs who mirror them at the threat of twitter mob outrage. There could be a case made that it is not as long as some other open world games but I would counter that there is no extraneous flab in GoT. Just classy, relevant substance. Its side missions serve a purpose, add to the plot and build the world Jin is trying to save. The add fuel to Jin's desire to save it at all costs. It is so refreshing to have side missions that serve a purpose and aren't just 'Deliver this persons frying pan'. It is a game that makes you care about its casts philosophies without badgering you with encyclopedias on why you're supposed to care (a la Death Stranding). Its world is magical and you want to protect it as much as Jin does. It isnt an exercise in making you feel like crap like TLOU2. It captures the essence of nature and play (which in reality are intertwined anyway). Ghost of Tsushima is a strong contender for Game of the Year and it would take something godlike to deny it.    … Expand

    I just go around making everyone bow to me, that and pretending I'm in a Samurai movie defending my honor. No other game has even come close to the sword action Ghost of Tsushima offers, and if you liked the original, you'll love the director's cut.

    I picked up the base version of this game originally on PS4 digitally, and it absolutely blew me away. The way they use light in this game and the overall design & graphical fidelity is stunning. Then, on top of that, you add stellar stealth mechanics similar games like Assassin's Creed can't even nail; matched with a combat system that isn't the most complex but isn't overly simplifiedI picked up the base version of this game originally on PS4 digitally, and it absolutely blew me away. The way they use light in this game and the overall design & graphical fidelity is stunning. Then, on top of that, you add stellar stealth mechanics similar games like Assassin's Creed can't even nail; matched with a combat system that isn't the most complex but isn't overly simplified The combat is fun and enjoyable, and even when you mess up, it's one of those things where you know it's you that made a mistake and not the game cheating you. The story in this game is fantastic and compelling from start to finish, not to mention the side missions that only flesh out the whole story even more. I did end up buying the PS5 version physically when it launched. The PS5 version adds Haptics to the whole experience and somehow increases the already amazing graphics... I do believe there's also a framerate option for those who prefer higher framerates.
    It includes the DLC expansion story of Iki Island, which in itself was absolutely phenomenal. They also include a multiplayer mode now that is entirely free... it's a lot of fun, and for those who enjoy gaming with friends, I could see spending countless hours there. I haven't spent much time with it as I prefer single-player campaigns.    … Expand

    Not everything is original in Ghost of Tsushima, but everything it does it does great. An absolutely fantastic game that has ended up on my top 5 games of all time list. And the Director's Cut doesn't change the game in any big way but includes a lot of improvements.

    People saying " IhhH NoThinG NeW!?!" dont know what they are talking about there are improvments to the base game and also a whole new dlc with Ikki Island that adds 20-30 Hours of Playtime so 20/30$ is ok for this version of the game. And its still the best looking game out there and so much fun.

    Incredible experience and a perfect stop-gap until we can play the full sequel. Great additions like the new Armors and Horse armor. Mythic tales and new duels. The antagonist is also different and interesting.
    The story in particular delves deeper into Jins backstory and is really great.

    It's an amazing game simple as. The story, the graphics, the combat, all next level. The landscape is gorgeous. Interesting characters. The continued support from the developers as well needs to be commended. They've done an excellent job addressing issues and implementing new improvements. The DLC too is excellent.

    What more is to say, about a game with great scenario, battle mechanics, graphics, everything? The Game Of The Year voted by the fans, but the critics were just got paid not to give this title! But we all know who really won the 2021 awards and why (despite the bombing) is the highest user rated game of it's generation! ;)

    Beautiful scenes and graphic, one of the best soundtrack, no bugs, beautiful feeling and atmosphere, very good fighting mechanics, and actually meaningful side quest with zero repetitive element. Collectibles are also fun to collect. This game is perfect 11/10. One of the best of all times.

A company put out a fun multiplayer mode,ade DLC and did a PS5 upgrade and it is review bombed because they charged a reasonable amount, but they could not part it out for change. Idiots. Ignore the stupid, they sadly out number the rest of us.

    Que una expansion tenga tanto contenido como si se tratase de una nueva entrega se merece todo el reconocimiento y merito, es una pasada y el precio esta muy bien, vale cada centavo y es la mejor vesion del juego con todas las mejoras y contenido nuevo, sin duda uno de los mejores juegos de play junto a God of War y The Last of Us

Feeling the wind, the sound of the flute, the pulling of an arrow, the cut of the blade and much more give one of the best Dualsense experiences ever.     The addition of iki island makes this an already great game greater. Was surprised with the horse charging mechanic and its implementation. The visuals are topnotch. The new sarugami armor brings a new playstyle to the table. And did I mention the visuals? every few meters I'd stop in awe.

    The game that was already Great, became perfect with this expansion.
    The graphics are absurdly stunning, the music, the feeling of being in the feudal era in japan never felt more exceptional.
    The Iki Island story is dense, and the game makes my jaw drop every 3 minutes.

    Well done update for a great game. Lots of new content is complemented by a ton of new gameplay elements. More content was missing from the basic game, otherwise there was nothing to complain about. And now everything is fine. Reason to buy Playstation 5 if you don't already have one.

For players who have already cleared the game, playing the Director's Cut version is still an unforgettable experience.

    It’s more of a regular DLC paired with some improvements for the PS5 rather than a true director’s cut. However, the developers do deserve praise for how skillfully they inserted the expansion into the narrative of the base game. The story about Jin’s past and the sins of ancestors is great (as opposed to boring side quests), new enemies pose a challenge, and the game as a whole shines on PS5’s more powerful hardware. I wish the visual improvements were more noticeable though. [11/2021, p.31]
