    About 10 hours in and really enjoy the game not a perfect 10. but have to give it a 9. Nothing is perfect but this is close. Been a huge fan of the series ever since the SNES and i for one enjoy the new combat system. Looking forward to playing this one multiple times to the end.

    This game includes some of the most jaw dropping spectacles I've ever seen in any medium. I am constantly left speechless and often teary-eyed. The combat is some of the most intricate and explorative I've experienced. The soundtrack gives me chills as it weaves in and out of situations seamlessly. The narrative and performances come together in ways I will never forget.

    The quality AND    This game includes some of the most jaw dropping spectacles I've ever seen in any medium. I am constantly left speechless and often teary-eyed. The combat is some of the most intricate and explorative I've experienced. The soundtrack gives me chills as it weaves in and out of situations seamlessly. The narrative and performances come together in ways I will never forget.

    Honestly, it is a somewhat innovative game, you cannot say that it is super innovative, but it is trying to bring back the essence of the Fainal Fantasy of yesteryear. However, it does not have that magic formula that caught you with the enveloping story that must have a Final Fantasy another radical change was the battle system, it's very complicated, it looks a lot like forspoken, but IHonestly, it is a somewhat innovative game, you cannot say that it is super innovative, but it is trying to bring back the essence of the Fainal Fantasy of yesteryear.     - The combat is fun if you give it a proper chance, learn the combos, and utilize the different tools you're provided with. You can finish the entire game spamming square, just as you can finish any turn-based FF spamming basic attack, if you hate yourself.
    - Eikon battles are kept simple, but as the big spectacles they were advertised to be.     - Clive is an incredibly well-developed main character that I loved from the very early parts of the game through to the end.
    - Side-quests are world-building extensions. They range from fetch quests to interesting lore tidbits. Entirely skippable if they're not your thing. Some have a very good story.
    - Played through the entire game on graphics mode and it looked amazing. Can't comment on performance mode.
    - I do have nitpicks about the game, but they didn't take away any enjoyment while playing. Such as:
    - magic-system could be more expansive,
    - You have party members by your side most of the time, you just can't control them. More banter would've been nice.
    - Few incentives to explore, but it is possible to do so.    … Expand

    Such an adventure, has the soul of a Final Fantasy and the conbat mechanics are just amazing and fun. The story is magnificent and on the same level of the best games of rhe franchise.

And yet the core, the spirit of the series is more intact here than it has been for many years To the quality. I've been enjoying the game for 50 hours now and I haven't noticed a single bug until now. The game runs smoothly and the transitions from the game to the video sequences run seamlessly into one another. Of course you can complain about the performance mode, but that doesn't make your masterpiece unplayable. I bet it will be reworked. I also don't know of any game except now Final Fantasy 16 which was released on day one with no errors. Not at Microsoft and not at Nintendo either. Made very strong Square Enix. Gameplay. The focus on the action layout and no longer on the long-winded round-based battles, as in the past, is not only good for the game but also makes it much more interesting for many players. Please do not get me wrong. I grew up playing everything Final Fantasy. But let's all be honest. Turn-based battles are not only boring, they also take the pace out of the game. It just doesn't fit our time anymore. That's why I love the new direction. to the story . The storytelling and staging of Final Fantasy 16 leaves all other parts previously released looking old and boring.. Final Fantasy 16 is dirtier, more dramatic and more gory than any other game in the series. Final Fantasy has finally come of age and it suits this franchise incredibly well. The characters suffer and have flaws. They doubt themselves and question their actions. You don't give up. You sympathize with them and mourn. You laugh and you cry. But above all, you never want to put the Gampad down because it is so incredibly exciting. I can only recommend you. Buy and play this game. It's worth every penny.     Folks who are review bombing simply for being exclusive for 6 months are pathetic. This is a good game that deserves great review scores. Not only is the combat fast and smooth, the story is compelling, the acting is superb, and the world is beautiful. The music kicks ass as always as well. Don't listen to the trolls, play it for yourself. It's great.

    Top 5 Final Fantasy for me. Has everything you could want in a final fantasy. Action has a lot of depth if you are wanting it but is easy enough to get by if your not into action games. Deep story and interesting twists and turns.

    Great combat and a great soundtrack, eikon battles are massive and epic.
    you can do a lot of combinations thanks to the eikon mechanics you can also equip other eikon abilities to a specific eikon, the hunt system and the exploration is great, lots of open areas to explore and of course, the story is great, amazing at it's core!

    So I’ve tried a couple different final fantasy games and the story is always great but the gameplay/combat has never been my thing but with 16 the gameplay is really good combat is smooth my only problem with this game is the side missions are terrible mostly fetch quest not much fun.

    This is a really Great Game So far I have put in about 30 hours into the game and Can't get enough of it, Hopefully, I should be completing it in a week or 2 as I am slowly enjoying the essence of this game and the design by Yoshi P, as I work in Game and VFX Studios and I know the painstaking time it takes to deliver a new IP or a Movie, people who have no knowledge or have never workedThis is a really Great Game So far I have put in about 30 hours into the game and Can't get enough of it, Hopefully, I should be completing it in a week or 2 as I am slowly enjoying the essence of this game and the design by Yoshi P, as I work in Game and VFX Studios and I know the painstaking time it takes to deliver a new IP or a Movie, people who have no knowledge or have never worked in this field should never be allowed to review. The world is beautiful and the graphics are great, but some of the animations and motion blurring are kinda bad. The music is probably some of the worse in a mainline final fantasy game, and SokenHonestly, I'm not sure why this game is rated as highly as it gets.     I was very excited for Final Fantasy XVI prior to its release, and through all of my hours in the game so far, it has thoroughly delivered. The storyline is gripping and there has already been multiple strongly emotional moments, many coming after or during the climactic Eikon boss battles. I can’t wait to play more of this game, but I have reached far enough in it to tell that it is absolutely a 10/10 video game, not because it has absolutely no flaws, but because it is so incredibly fun and jaw-droppingly beautiful to experience.… Expand

    De todos los que he jugado este es el que mejor relacion calidad grafica, combate e historia que hay.
    La unica pega es que se calienta un poco la ps5 en algunas cinematicas.

    it's not perfect, could use more Rpg elements & exploration.., but the action, story, characters, pacing and whole feeling is something truly special.., only few games like TLOU1/2 have achieved in the past years of narrative driving action-adventures such hights

    An amazing experience with unbelievable boss battles and an amazing story. Play the game start to finish, you won't be disappointed. Don't believe the butt hurt among us that hate just to hate. Too much toxicity, a majority of it, comes from a small green portion of gaming. They have nothing better to do

    Final Fantasy XVI is an excellent game in every way. If you're a fan of the series for the stories and characters, you won't go wrong here, and if you've avoided the series for, say, turn-based combat, the sixteenth installment offers the perfect opportunity to get started with this legend of the gaming industry.     New numbered FFs are good again. Stunning to look at, with new, punchy combat, and a great yarn, it is, if anything, too focussed, lacking a bit of the weird. [Issue#30, p.78]
