    Best game. I love all FF's games in general. but this game has topped it. As a fan coming from Yoshi P's FFXIV Game as well. This game does so much and fills in a lot of your time with beautiful storytelling and heart wrenching dialogue. It will definitely be something you will love. Don't listen to the bad nay sayers who just think one mindedly. This game is worth a shot. !

    This is a divine game created by P. Yoshida. I can say that this is the best Final Fantasy game since the 21st century, not to mention the best Final Fantasy game ever made. It goes beyond the boundaries of RPGs, and beyond the genre of games to bring us the best experience possible. Just as everyone is moved by Michael Jackson or Freddie Mercury, Yoshida P.'s game will make people feelThis is a divine game created by P. Yoshida.     Le doy un 10 y porque no hay más nota. Un juego que debe ser jugado por la comunidad. Ojala existiera en más plataformas y lo pudieran disfrutar más personas es la única pega que le puedo poner. Tiene algunos aspectos que se pueden mejorar, pero tiene lo que tiene que tener un Final Fantasy. Tiene buena historia, una banda sonora espectacular, personajes maravillosos, un sistema de combateLe doy un 10 y porque no hay más nota. Un juego que debe ser jugado por la comunidad. Ojala existiera en más plataformas y lo pudieran disfrutar más personas es la única pega que le puedo poner. La guerra de consolas hace daño a videojuegos como este y no se valoran y que si merecen la pena.

    I'm an OG Final Fantasy fan, I played the very first FF1 and FF2 on SNES and have been in love with the franchise ever since. FF15 was a disappointment, even though there were some cool elements to it.
    So when I saw FF16's first combat trailers, I was worried. I really hoped for a good old turned based JRPG    This is the first time I bother writing a review. This game deserves the effort.
    I'm an OG Final Fantasy fan, I played the very first FF1 and FF2 on SNES and have been in love with the franchise ever since. FF15 was a disappointment, even though there were some cool elements to it.
    So when I saw FF16's first combat trailers, I was worried. I really hoped for a good old turned based JRPG and what I saw was more like a Devil May Cry type action game.
    But I was WRONG, the combat system is extremely FUN! I'm 100+ hours playing the game and I'm still going out of my way to fight extra enemies, NOT because I need the extra XP, but because COMBAT in FF16 is really fun, there's no ending to the amount of new combos you can do, and switching Eikonic Abilities allows for a lot of customization.
    And of course... the storytelling is one of the best ever made, it doesn't pale in comparison to The Witcher, The Last of Us or Cyberpunk2077.
    This is a game of the year contender, without a doubt. Everyone who can play it, should play it ;-)

But I do not like ff16 from what has been shown in trailers. so to be honest I didn't have a high expectation and didn't Pre-order this game. Until the demo is released, it's just mind-blowing and I make a PO for a physical copy right away.

    So far so great, the game makes me happy, and    My very first review of a game on Metacritic, I am a u40 gamer who loves FF franchises very much. But I do not like ff16 from what has been shown in trailers. so to be honest I didn't have a high expectation and didn't Pre-order this game. Until the demo is released, it's just mind-blowing and I make a PO for a physical copy right away.

    So far so great, the game makes me happy, and can't leave my sofa, perfect feeling when you have low expectation but received an amazing game experience. Love the game very much.    … Expand

    For me this game eliminated pretty much all aspects that are usually annoying to me in these types of games: like having to manage 10 party members gear and skills and therefore spending half the game in some menu or cringe anime like characters you can only roll your eyes at The game still does have its cheesy moments but the story overall is very „grounded“.     I enjoyed every second of this game, it made me smile so often. THE BOSSFIGHTS ARE JUST P*RN WITH COMBAT AND SOUNDTRACK, THATS WHAT I HOPED TO SEE IN GOW RAGNARÖK, BUT RAGNARÖK BOSS FIGHT WAS RLLY MEH AND GOT A 94, BUT FF16 IS A GAME YOU CANT COMPARE TO OTHERS, JUST PLS PLAY IT U WONT REGRET!!!

If you're a fan of the series for the stories and characters, you won't go wrong here, and if you've avoided the series for, say, turn-based combat, the sixteenth installment offers the perfect opportunity to get started with this legend of the gaming industry.     New numbered FFs are good again. Stunning to look at, with new, punchy combat, and a great yarn, it is, if anything, too focussed, lacking a bit of the weird. [Issue#30, p.78]
