    Absurdo com a franquia.

    Falta inúmeros elementos de RPG. Falta variação de tipos de danos (corte, pancada, fogo, gelo), falta resistência física e mágica. Falta variação de builds e variações no estilo de combate. Não estou me referindo ao combate em turnos, mas na variação de gameplay. FFXVI é um ótimo jogo de ação linear (um irmão gêmeo de Devil MayCry) do tipo que você curte a    Absurdo com a franquia.

    I did write a longer review for this game. It's over 3,000 words (roughly 20,000 characters) but Metacritic only allows 5,000 characters. I wish I could explain my point fully. But for the sake of honest scoring. I will give this game a 10. Not that it's perfect, but my final score is 9.5 and they don't have .5 scale on this so I top up to 10. It's super engaging combat, deep character development, beautiful music, emotional story, marvelous semi-open world landscapes, fantastic art direction, fully detailed models and clothing, rich in lore and side stories. To sum it up: XVI has a combat of hybrid Devil May Cry, spectacles of Godzilla, sidequests of FFXIV, music of grand orchestra, story of a perfect mix between Final Fantasy, Attack on Titans, and Game of Thrones (with so so much better ending).     Absolutely loving it. I tell you what. The little details for me make it great. The more you move the stick the faster you run, no hud when exploring, the combat is the best in the series I've played for years. The story is very cool so far. Cid is the best character.

    Seriously, let's be honest, this is a good game, great in some aspects, but definitely not so Final Fantasy-ish.     Seriously, let's be honest, this is a good game, great in some aspects, but definitely not so Final Fantasy-ish.
    There's no party whatsoever, you fight alongside npcs that may or may not be there, it wouldn't matter. And sometimes they kinda distract you, with Thorgal jumping around, Jill spamming spells everywhere, while you try to understand what the hell is going on with Clive flashy moves.
    Npcs who sometimes have little to no personality. Jill will never be as good as Tifa, Aerith, Rinoa, or Yuna. And it's a shame, because others like Cid are very good.
    Same for the antagonists, many of them are poorly written and developed.
    Another huge letdowns are the complete absence of party customization (no equipment, weapons, setup), and that there's basically no depth in combat.
    No elemental weaknesses or strategy, you can take down a Piros or a fire based boss with Phoenix fire moves, lol.
    About enemies, there's no variety, and except for some iconic foes, they're too generic. Bees? Deers? Wolves? A FF game deserves something better.
    Same goes for the world and areas, they're too generic and poorly designed.
    There are also lightning issues in some dungeons, everything looks dark and grey.

    What's good then?
    Well the story is great, and some fights are epic. I'm halfway through the story and can't wait to take down the next antagonist.
    Clive is a great MC alove the way he's developed and the story of his family.
    Combat way too DMC-ish for a FF but good without a doubt.

    So a good game that feels like it's developed from SE team C, while A and B are creating a true FF which is FFVII Rebirth. It will be a nice adventure, but not a good FF.    … Expand

    The story, graphics, music, voice acting, and gameplay are top-tier. FFXVI has some of the greatest combat encounters ever created in a video game that flow seamlessly between cutscene and real-time action with jaw-dropping graphics and visual effects without a hint of loading or visual degradation. A deeply emotional and engaging story, with    Final Fantasy XVI is a spectacular game.

    The story, graphics, music, voice acting, and gameplay are top-tier. FFXVI has some of the greatest combat encounters ever created in a video game that flow seamlessly between cutscene and real-time action with jaw-dropping graphics and visual effects without a hint of loading or visual degradation.

    A deeply emotional and engaging story, with a soundtrack that motivates and pulls at the heartstrings, and astounding vocal performances from the entire English cast.

    White knuckle, fast-paced, action combat with an ability system that encourages experimentation and customization to find your preferred playstyle and ability build. Incredible boss animations and visual effects are the cherry on top.

    The sum of these components makes FFXVI stand out from the rest of the pack.    … Expand

    Eu gostei muito de Final Fantasy VI, até hoje acho que não joguei nenhum RPG que chegasse próximo da experiência que aquela obra prima da Square me deu. De fato um dos melhores jogos já feitos, mas aqui fica a pergunta, será que vou voltar a jogar um RPG desse desenvolvedora? Porque aqui em Final Fantasy XVI não será infelizmente, aqui é apenas mais um hack n slash como tantos outros.

    As I sat there watching the credits roll, I basically came to the realization that this would be a good game if it had any name other than Final Fantasy. As a Final Fantasy game, however, it doesn't live up to the legacy of the franchise.

These would be fine if it was trying to be its own thing. But it's trying to be a FINAL FANTASY game. Tack on the awful performance with obscene motion blur in quality mode and severe frame drops and stuttering in performance mode and it just isn't worthy of all the 8s, 9s, and 10s it's getting. I struggle to give it a 7. It's honestly closer to a 6.

    Slightly better than FF15, but that's not exactly a high bar to clear.

VocêFinal Fantasy XVI entrega tudo que um amante de fantasia procura. O Jogo te envolve de uma maneira única com personagens incrivelmente bem desenvolvidos e me transportou para outro universo. O Clive é um dos melhores protagonistas que já vi. Determinado, destemido e que se precisar fará o que for preciso para mudar o mundo. Mesmo que isso cause consequências imensas para todos. Você entende o personagem e sente o mesmo que ele. É uma experiência única. O Combate é gostoso demais. Poderia ser mais difícil? Poderia. Mas serviu de forma muito satisfatória pro seu proposito. Há muito tempo não me divertia tanto com um jogo e principalmente com a história que é COLOSSAL de tão ABSURDA! Me emocionei demais com fim dessa jornada que vai estar pra sempre em meu coração.     One of the best games they've ever made! The story is well structured, the characters are in-depth and well-detailed. The settings are epic and medieval, wonderfully inspired by a Western world, the combat system is a perfectly accurate interweaving of combos and basic attacks that do not bore where the player can indulge himself as he prefers.     Jogo incrível, épico e com momentos únicos que te farão grudar na cadeira ou te animar pelo acontecimento. Excelente aventura e história. Não dou 10 por alguns problemas de desempenho, mas nota 9 vale com muita tranquilidade.

    Acredito que a Squarenix querendo popularizar a franquia, removeu muitos elementos de RPG, game muito fácil, semelhante ao que aconteceu com o FFXV, lamentável o rumo que a franquia tomou!

The music, phenomenally done and memorable. The characters, well written and leaves you rooting for them. The world, beautiful with wonderful and grandiose sights.     El juego es sencillamente fantástico, en cuanto a su apartado técnico va muy bien, sus gráficos son muy llamativos y su jugabilidad va escalando conforme pasa la historia, siempre hay nuevos elementos y poderes con los que entretenerse mientras buscas tu combinación ideal que se adapte a tu estilo de juego, aparte de eso se agradece el hecho que venga doblado al español latino, las vocesEl juego es sencillamente fantástico, en cuanto a su apartado técnico va muy bien, sus gráficos son muy llamativos y su jugabilidad va escalando conforme pasa la historia, siempre hay nuevos elementos y poderes con los que entretenerse mientras buscas tu combinación ideal que se adapte a tu estilo de juego, aparte de eso se agradece el hecho que venga doblado al español latino, las voces de la gran mayoría son muy buenas... Aunque en algunas ocasiones sientes que se repiten las voces de algunos actores de doblaje en otros personajes terciarios qué si bien no serán relevantes en la historia puede que te saque de la inmersión. Las misiones principales son muy buenas, las secundarias pueden quedar a veces como algo repetitivas pero ayudan a profundizar en la historia que quiere presentar el juego y en algunos casos se obtiene materiales necesarios para la mejora de armas que no se consiguen por otros métodos. En general diría que es un Final Fantasy muy entretenido y que vale la pena jugarlo!… Expand

    Final Fantasy XVI has exceeded my expectations, its a very enjoyable and immersive story that FEELS like a Final Fantasy game! I've always had a clear favourite Final Fantasy game in my mind but this one has me second guessing myself so I'll put FFXVI as my Top 1-2. Well done to SquareEnix and all involved in the creation of this masterpiece!

    Juego sublime, gráficamente una belleza y el diseño artístico una genialidad, muy bien optimizado aunque hay que tomar en cuenta lo que comentan los analistas acerca de los inconvenientes en modo rendimiento, yo lo estoy en modo calidad y estoy impresionado con la potencia gráfica, cero glitches y cero sobrecalentamiento.     The story felt elongated towards the end which made the payoff feel less impressive. The lead up felt weakened to me instead of properly empowered by a resounding crescendo. Its high points were really high so it definitely had its peaks and valleys. The story itself is decent I would argue. Very enjoyable with great scenes and memorable lines. If Square Enix describes this game and its story as a thrilling roller coaster ride I would advise you to not lose the picture of the theme park due to one ride. Its actually a mix of rides. With lines in between of varying wait time to get back on the thrilling ride.

    The enemies were fairly easy and simple as well. I am happy they were not too hard but at times the fights seemed more necessary for prolonging the game rather than giving the player a challenge. Several I would argue were not important to the plot whatsoever. Some served solely as spoon fed XP.

    For any Final Fantasy fan I recommend playing this. I would consider this a must play. We should see, note and applaud the technical depths they went to to create a such a great combat system and see where else it can be applied in their history of games. Its different than the usual battle system but its a refreshing take on the games recurring themes via an action rpg presentation method.

    FFXVI really frontloaded some awesome moments to hook players, but in the end, it ended up delivering a half-hearted action game that feels like a blatant rip off of Game of Thrones and Devil May Cry.

    Truly a fantastic experience . This is my first game into the final fantasy franchise and definitely will not be my last. This is a work of art through and through. Kudos to everyone involved. 2023 is the year of AAA games!

    I mean...just wow! This is such a surprise! I havent been waiting for this. I werent aware it is being made. I was thinking this is the year of Diablo 4, Zelda or SF6. Well nope FF16 is really breathtaking. Its not like D4 or the other games arent great. But compared to FF16? Damn, this is spectacular. I love it. I lost hope in this series and boy im glad I was this wrong. Only 10,I mean...just wow! This is such a surprise! I havent been waiting for this. I werent aware it is being made.     Just incredible. I’ve been hooked the whole time!

    My only wish was for side quest to be more interesting, I’m not a fan of fetching side quest.

    Modern approach to gameplay that respects and preserves its roots. At times a bit of an empty world lacking incentive to explore outwith the main plot. Could use some more humour and tongue in cheek dialogue as it does take itself a bit too seriously at times. Seems to be a another case of rushing a game out before it's finished, but still fun to play.

    Game of the year contender. Some of the most epic boss fights ever in a video game. Amazing soundtrack, great story, voice acting and characters. Can’t wait to play through again!

    Final Fantasy XVI is an excellent game in every way. If you're a fan of the series for the stories and characters, you won't go wrong here, and if you've avoided the series for, say, turn-based combat, the sixteenth installment offers the perfect opportunity to get started with this legend of the gaming industry.     New numbered FFs are good again. Stunning to look at, with new, punchy combat, and a great yarn, it is, if anything, too focussed, lacking a bit of the weird. [Issue#30, p.78]
