    Has nothing to do with football anymore. Too fast paced, games always finish with 10 or more goals, which is completely unrealistic. This is because the game is online focused, they made it like this so a match is never truly over, even if you're winning or losing 3-0. Not a simulation at all.

    They have somehow taken the fun out of a once fun game. I understand things change but the fact this game basically plays like basketball is too far. The idea now is to pass pass pass pass and tap it in the net. Dribbling and pace are pointless as they do not work. I just want to have fun and I’m winning every game I play and am left so unsatisfied after each match.

    This is the worst game I have ever played. Decision making is horrendous, passes always goes to the wrong direction, players can never head the ball accurately. You aim the shot and it goes very wide. You direct it at goal and it always goes to the keeper. There is nothing that works in this game. Every single mechanic is broken. Goal keepers are superhuman. Physics of the game down right horrendous. Attacking player’s dribbles into my player and somehow passes him like he is an hologram. Square play never gets intercepted even when you position your player to intercept it. I honestly cannot name one single thing good about this game. Not one single thing they got right. This game turns ny best of days into the saddest most frustrating days in just two matches. F**k off EA for charging $100 for this and I will never buy an EA game again… Expand

The game is completely unplayeable from only one reason: World class difficulty is way too easy and legendary and ultimate are impossible because the AI will not let you do anything. Simple as that. All I wanted from this game was to play career mode for a bit and have some games, but wow this game is truely terrible. I ended up uninstalling and writing it off the same night I downloaded it.     It's just a copy and paste, the only 2 big changes they make for this game r, 1st the name change from fifa 22 to fifa 23, 2nd price increase to $70. Everything is the same. I feel sorry for ppl who only play pro club, getting excited and pay $70 to play literally same shiit over and over.

    Fut 23 ist ist ohne meta Spieler nicht spielbar. Diese Spieler sind teuer und man müsste zusätzlich zum Spiel minimum 200€ in Packs investieren. EA ist und bleibt ein Karnevalsverein

    The worst football game ever created. Defenders don’t tackle, keepers can’t make a save, and it is so unashamedly rigged online that it doesn’t even make an effort to mask this. I thought FIFA 22 was bad, but my god, this absolutely takes it to the next level.

    For the hundreds of millions of dollars EA "earns" with this game the game is incredibly bad and lacks any real commitment by the company. The only thing EA cares about is FUT FIFA Ultimate Team and to sell kids and teenagers packs, packs and more packs. A good competitive squad costs upwards of 4000$ and pro players will have to shell out thousands of dollars each year to stay competitve - for me this is epitome of a pay to win title and the gambling mechanics with lootboxes containing random players - Mbappe costing around 1500$ - a single player out of 11 in your starting squad is insane. EA tries to market it and belittle concerns saying this is merely "surprise mechanics" but there is several research papers that show that this can lead to compulsive gambling and I have heard numerous first hand stories of people saying they know people that actually spend way too much on games like these that are being sold to 0+ - children and teenagers. The industry tries to lie to us and tries to picture them as rich people, while the "whales" - the people spent the most are - same as with real gambling addicts that are addicted to e.g. slot machines - rather poor people that fall victim to these predatory in game lootboxes. It is no coincidence that in Belgium and the Netherlands EA has been banned from selling packs in game in FIFA.… Expand

    This piece of **** is all about momentum, dda, scripts and lootboxes. Nothing else matters. You can be the best player in the world, you can be winning 4:0 and you will loose 6 goals in a row in 15 min because every single straight pass will come through your defence. LITERALLY THROUGH the legs of your defence. You will get nutmegs, your defenders will hit each other, they will pass straight to your opponent even if you aim in the other direction. THIS IS PATHETIC.

    FIFA 23 is perfectly serviceable, the gluttony of FIFA fans won't find much to complain about. Truth be told, the formula is so one-dimensional that it is hard to get wrong after iterating on the same product year after year. Subtle tweaks to gameplay do mix things up, but not enough has been done to refresh the modes on offer. Either EA are out of ideas, or they are storing them up for their next game in their new franchise. Anyone looking a football game in 2023 though should certainly stick with the tried and tested FIFA.

    If better hair physics is what you were hoping for when it comes to the new edition of FIFA – you’re in luck! The hair looks gorgeous now. But as for the other, more important things we need, it is the same as always. It takes a bit of improvement and a lot to pay for it.
