    Capcom, seriously? The game feels outdated and clunky, battles are chaotic and drown down to smashing buttons furiously (and inevitably getting hit since there is no parry and evade is a skill). The graphics are decent but there are no destructible environment (unless you are a dinosaur). C’mon, it’s 2024! If I shoot a puny wooden bench in a park with an exosuit’s rifle I should rightfullyCapcom, seriously? The graphics are decent but there are no destructible environment (unless you are a dinosaur). C’mon, it’s 2024! If I shoot a puny wooden bench in a park with an exosuit’s rifle I should rightfully expect the thing to dissolve into smithereens! Same thing for trees and cars. Combat is disappointing and unsatisfactory, especially for the assault classes (which you will probably soon give up in favor of one of the shooters). There are no ways to do combos nor parry and you will get inevitably damaged if you try to fight in close quarters! Unless you have a witch doctor spawning curing spells, every close combat class is quite a clunky mess. And now, the biggest disappointment: ONLY ONE LEVEL!! Seriously? We paid $59 and all we get to fight is the same battle in the same level with the same tired objectives! And, in case you want to buy more suits and customizations, everything is a micro transaction! And now the nail in the coffin: Leviathan. The boring AI that is supposed to be ominous (but instead is a joke) has to do its boring spill every time you start a game, in a tiring procession of teleportations and repetitive voice overs saying “you are fighting faster/slower than the other team”. The game looked great in the trailers but what was deliver yesterday is a fraud!… Expand

    You cannot be serious!?! This should be a free to play game. Thye are charging full retail then want more money for battlepass,cosmetics and extra suits lol!! Greed,Greed and more Greed.

    And the game itself..wowee what a boring bare bones yawn fest. You have seen everything the game has to offer after the first match.

    Game should have been free to play or on PS+. This price is NOT worth it. The gameplay loops is fine, but it’s bare bones. Not even after years of additional content would I pay this price. XB players got a deal, PS got robbed.

    in the end it's a good multiplayer game that's very fun, but it absolutely shouldn't have come out for 60 euros, you can't make me pay that amount for a game and put in it: battle pass, lootbox, exp boost, cosmetic bundle, basically a free to play structure. in fact at present the game is worth the "ticket" only on gamepass.

    the story is terrible but it's just a pretext, you can't expect an oscar-worthy writing based on "mechs vs dinosaurs" premise. the armors are very nice, fun gameplay, ai to improve.

    pros:
    -mech armor are great
    -gameplay is fast and fun

    With:
    -heavy monetization in a game sold at full price
    - the story is terrible
    -ia of the dinosaurs Need improvement

    Game is ok, but becomes boring after a short while. Its very similar to other co-op game as well, nothing to make it stand out to other games. Will be higher rated if there are more content in future, but I can only give it a 4 for what is available now.

    Sharp presentation and visuals with rock solid performance, even during hectic scenarios. Combat is fun, with each Exosuit feeling unique and controlling well. Good variety to dinosaurs. Interesting premise and plot. A few missions that deviate away from PvEvP are very fun.
    Bad- Objectives can get very repetitive, and sticking to PvE limits them even more. Story-telling is    Good-

    Bad-
    Objectives can get very repetitive, and sticking to PvE limits them even more. Story-telling is disjointed due to the Access Map and requiring data to uncover more. Bizarre UI that feels unwieldy at times and annoying at others. Horrendous and unfunny dialogue at times. Reliance on BikCoins for everything feels limiting. No "true" PvE, and Dominators feel very annoying to deal with.

    Thoughts-
    Of course, this is a live service title and more content will be added later, but you have to wonder how often this same formula can be repeated – with the developer “fixing” things post-launch. Whether Exoprimal will have a robust enough player base remains to be seen. For now, if you want to slay dinosaurs with cool mech suits and can deal with all the flaws, Exoprimal may be worth a quick look but not much else.    … Expand

    Pure PvE and PvP modes are missing, but may be planned for release in the next few months.

    Honestly the game is pretty good as far as everything "game" goes, with the BIGGEST negative being the $60 price tag without the content to back it up. If the game was free-to-play like Warframe, I'd recommend it in a heartbeat, but unfortunately it is not. Right now I can only recommend checking out the game for free on Game Pass, and maybe waiting 2 or 3 months until the content in the game starts to be worth closer to $60.    … Expand

    Actually a really fun game, especially for a short brainless Dino slaughter season.
    Only problems the game have are the fact that there is only 1 Game mode (currently) which makes it seem a bit empty.
    Also the Customization is not really there.
    Yes you can build a little bit but can’t do stuff that really sticks out or changes the way of how to play that character

    The RE engine is totally outdated by now which explained the disaster that is this game - Poor visuals and horrible performances and stuttering, shallow and uninspired gameplay, inconsistent and bad online connections, and so on.

    Capcom please develop a new engine already to compete in the modern era!

    The story is interesting but becomes bland and boring after a few minutes, the problem is it's very repetitive, the content is very few unless you play online games to move the story. Each play is from 10-15 mins. If you want something to get addicted to and don't mind the repetitive play, this is the game for you, else go play something else.

    The nagging AI is annoying and also is a bit meta and makes you ask why you're playing this game? The other team is faster.... Yeah got it shut up lol... And there is the key issue. Even the pve is pvp. I'm more a solo gamer soo.... Exoprimal isn't    Has potential and needs work. Will Capcom do it like others have?

    This is a very fun action arcade style game. Each suit plays differently and team composition matters. It's like Overwatch but with a PVE making up 80% of the game and PVP making up the other 20% of the modes you play. It has 10 player raids, 5v5 PVEVP race to finish the objectives first modes, and then PVEVP modes where each team plays against each other with the ability to kill oneThis is a very fun action arcade style game. Each suit plays differently and team composition matters. It's like Overwatch but with a PVE making up 80% of the game and PVP making up the other 20% of the modes you play. It has 10 player raids, 5v5 PVEVP race to finish the objectives first modes, and then PVEVP modes where each team plays against each other with the ability to kill one another directly as they race to finish their objectives. Modes for the direct PVP sections are Deliver the payload, smash pillars with your teams hammer, and collect data points. The PVP sections are my personal favorites and actually require some good team composition to win. So far I'm about 35 games in and I'm having tons of fun.

    The games low points are no load outs (you can create builds for each suit and having to customize that before you go into a match and not be able to switch to a different build mid game when you can switch suits is a bummer). You can't skip in match cutscenes. The story unfolds across static screens with Voice over for 80% of it with a cutscene once in awhile.    … Expand

    Have low expectations but managed to beat that - Bland game got old in less than an hour.

    Capcom is drunk and released a low content F2P game for full price. Could be a pricing mistake and will change score once they fix this.

    Why wasn’t this game made available via my PS+ subscription….. I thought Sony PlayStation had the marketing rights for this game as it was announced during a PlayStation event …… not happy paying RRP to play the same game as my friends on alternative platforms!! Sony should do better for those that invest in their ecosystem!!

    Great game ruined because there's no Dodge or block, you just receive the hit like b*tch, also I noticed there's no different maps, there's no different battle modes, they should get inspired by COD or PUBG, more maps and modes and add dodge button.

Bunch of Dinos running in the same direction and don't even bother about you. You just keep shooting forward and will kill someone. Not even the killing is fun due the Dino's are stupids and very bad animated. A miss frankly. Wouldn't suggest atNot impressed at all.     The game is a blast. A little repetitive not worth 60$ but being on game pass is a positive. There is a roadmap with new game modes and rigs going to be added. There is actually new content added today.

    This game is online only. So once the developers decide to shut down the servers, this game will end up in the trash can. Charging $60 for a game with no offline modes is a cash grab. The developers were too cheap and lazy to make an offline singleplayer campaign. It's funny how Capcom has become an internet darling, just because a bunch of no-name spineless critics recently gave their games high scores. These critics are literally the same bully-victims who thought they were entitled to a date with "hot chicks" just for being a "nice guy" in high school, how can anyone take their opinions seriously? Regardless of their opinions, let's be honest with ourselves. Capcom is literally the Ubisoft of linear games, make no mistake about it.     Un título divertido para jugar con amigos y también para completar los logros/trofeos aunque si que es verdad que algo repetitivo. No obstante, el juego merece un notable porque su rendimiento en consolas es excelente pese a la cantidad de enemigos en pantalla, y eso es digno de admirar.

    This game is an extremely refreshing Multiplayer game that either People are upset its not dino crisis or only played it for an hour and grouped it in with all the pay to win games. The loot boxes can not be bought with real money and the only thing asking for extra $ is the battlepass to get the goofy looking outfits for most characters.

I thought the same thing but the AI Chat GPT narrator/DM made a 10 player co op raid where it combined the two teams (that usually compete against another) into an epic boss fight that was not easy and lasted nearly 20 minutes.

    We barely beat the boss and I    Ok so this game is more of a 8/10 but I know many will boot it up, play a match or two, and think it has no variety, maps, etc.. I thought the same thing but the AI Chat GPT narrator/DM made a 10 player co op raid where it combined the two teams (that usually compete against another) into an epic boss fight that was not easy and lasted nearly 20 minutes.

    We barely beat the boss and I thought "WOW that was one of the most fun moments I've had in Co op in a long time". Sure the story is oddly placed behind secret files you randomly get through playing and it will seem like your going through the same maps at the start but eventually things start changing and new enemies appear, along with new bosses and hopefully more 10 player raids.

    Gameplay is fast and well optimized I locked at 60FPS on high settings at 1440p and GPU use is low 30's(3070). IMO game needs some balancing as rigs like Barrage are so OP he can hold down entire lanes by himself while others struggle. Also game has no team reqs as you will spawn in and everyone is playing attack and no tank or healer is present or required. We have actually won matches with no healer as this is no overwatch meta.

    Now the Elephant in the room is the forced PVP, for me I actually enjoy it a lot as it brings something fresh to the horde mode shooters. I have had matches where we are losing badly and the enemy team gets cocky and decides to run over to our area to PVP and my char will team wipe them leaving their obj open to be destroyed for an easy comeback. Overall if you want a FUN co op and somewhat PVP horde mode shooter that is free on Gamepass def pick this up.    … Expand

The game itself is simple enough and easy to jump in and out of. It's one of those games that, especially when you're burnt out on the min-maxing of Diablo, finishing the story of FF16, orThis game is great. Truly a hidden gem. It starts off a little slow and doesn't do a great job at telling you from the jump that the more you play, the more you CAN play, but it's still fantastic. The game itself is simple enough and easy to jump in and out of. It's one of those games that, especially when you're burnt out on the min-maxing of Diablo, finishing the story of FF16, or getting a little tired of your typical shooter, this one is a great alternative to play until your next big title.

    You really have to give this game a little bit of time to flesh itself out. That isn't to say "you have to play for the game to get good" because I don't agree with that method. This game is intentionally staggering how much you have access to early on as a sort of easing-in of the mechanics and systems you'll run into the more you play. There is a firm "play this many games" system that unlocks further maps, dinosaurs, and mods for each exosuit that is intended to serve as a sort of tutorial of the game. It's well worth the time and becomes easily addicting.

    All that said, the story is fairly interesting but isn't really necessary to follow. It's all about playing the game and enjoying the minute-to-minute.    … Expand

" exactly the game adapts and expands as you progress, The co-op nature is not to be understated this is a game where you can meet some great people and have blast shooting dinosaurs...and the other team. Great game.

The progression is good, the story narrative is horrible, the gameplay is amazing, the variety of maps not.     Quick PVP-PVE matches, with hordes of enemies that present a moderate challenge. A very fun game to play with friends, where the level of complexity increases as you play.
    It can become repetitive, but with the announcement of partnerships with other Capcon franchises, in addition to the prediction of the inclusion of new game types and new exosuits, promises a lot of fun, if this really comes to fruition.

    Don't believe these idiots saying there is only one map to play over and over. The game also has a story that progresses as you play, and more and more maps/dinos/raids open up as you get further. It is a great game, basically what I was hoping overwatch PVE would be.

    I'm interested by the story and the gameplay is pretty dynamic and fun. But the interface control with controller and lack of crossplay parties is sad

    I love the game it plays nice, good gameplay nice exosuits to test out and not a bad gameplay loop. Only need some more content and good support. It won’t blow you away but in every aspect this game is decent. Gonn play it for a long time for sure.

    people are complaining about the lack of content while overwatch is a rigged pile of garbage for like 8 years now. i have a great time with the game. its simple and fun. the basegame is amazing and with more content on the way i got something to look forward to. no rigged algorithm..no unbalanced stuff. its how games should be these days.

    You can very easily tell who actually played this game. If they tell you that the game mode never changes, they barely played it. It's not perfect, it's best in class though for this genre. And they have way more planned for it. Capcom does it again.

    There's something to be had here. I wouldn't pay $70 for it, but it's Capcom so I had to give it a shot. Only reason it gets a 10 from me is the fact that it plays better on PS5, the best place to play, whereas the Series X, and Series S-Potato have tons of issues.

As you level the Exosuits and unlock more mods, you slowly become the badass mech the trailers promised. Graphically, it is not world shattering but is in no way bad.     this game has made me realize you don't need a hyped up marketing campaign to know what a good game is, Looking you at you Diablo 4 ( the game bores me to sleep with how repetitive it is). Exoprimal has no reason to be as fun as it is but everything works so well. the only issue is that it takes a couple hours to really unlock more content but, its totally worth it.     I love dinosaurs and this game helps scratch that itch. Very fun when you have a full group of friends. The little I have done with random fills has also been good, no toxic people so far and actually fun groups. The roadmap also keeps me hopeful with how soon a lot is coming out for it.

    Sooo how did we get here? This came could and should have been the next overwatch but when over watch was good but instead we get a mess. A microtransactions mess. At full price. With extra live service junk...at full price. FULL PRICE unless it's on game pass where it's free. Play when free. Hard pass until then. Shane on capcom for ruining this fun cool dino robo romp! GREED :(

    Anyone complaining about repetitive gameplay didn’t play long enough for it to open up. The more you play the more game modes and enemies you unlock. It’s brainless coop fun. What not could you ask for? Try it and you’ll understand.

    A flashy, fast and cool experience Exoprimal has players blasting away at the dinosaur hordes in their thousands. At its core the game is a lot of fun, but it suffers from the usual live service game downsides. How long will it be supported? How will the balancing change? These and other questions can really temper the otherwise fun shooty dinosaur filled experience.

    Exoprimal is quite fun and shows much potential to be something more. However, the fact that it only has one game mode currently makes it quickly fall into repetitiveness.
