    Of course, it is not a perfect game, but the reason for the 10 is obvious. It is currently a very underrated game, and manages to be better than Fifa, an expensive and fully licenced game that is the same dumb arcade game since I can remember.

    This game has a great potential, especially for offline game, full manual players. I don't get all the bad reviews. There is a learning curve and the game is just different than what it used to be,

    The game is done well, but it deserves a 6 out of 10 for 2 reasons: the matchmaking is really bad and you can't enjoy an online match, and some things are obviously wrong (some offsides are obscene)

    as a fan of pes 20/21 games i was dissapointed to see this. i hope they can fix physics and players response and add more content later. game looks ok though and the pace is right. i really hope they will improve it.

    Konami, for reasons only they know, have decided to abandon the name Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) in favour of what they are calling e-football. Unfortunately they’ve scored an own goal from the very start, and it’s hard to see them ever recovering.

    Barely playable at launch, the latest patches do ensure it at least plays a pretty good game of football now, but there are still just so few    Konami, for reasons only they know, have decided to abandon the name Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) in favour of what they are calling e-football. Unfortunately they’ve scored an own goal from the very start, and it’s hard to see them ever recovering.

    Barely playable at launch, the latest patches do ensure it at least plays a pretty good game of football now, but there are still just so few features and options (outside of the online mode seemingly designed solely to take your money) that within an hour or so you’ll be left wandering what you’re supposed to do.    … Expand

    I hope this game gets better after the update. Graphic is realy low. Cant see clear the grass from main camera. I hope this game get better in future.

    This game is so bad, cause Konami start cross play with mobile. Its took time for good develop and game is adapted for phones, so game on console is suffering this. Its still ping pong style and game let win sometimes wery bad players. Why? Cause wery bad players every loose, so they dont play that, but if you let they win sometimes, you can get somecoins from them. Think about that, manual pass bring this game essence of reality, you want pass center front the goal area, you overshoot and you scored goal. But with autopassing this cant never happen, its same stereotype. This game has very bad shooting, finaly easy pass with triangle button is worst in pes history, There is no defence tactics only two individuals!! A lot of nonsense penalties, Wery bad defending, this game hase no accelaration, accuracy in run, this run with defend is horrible. There is much more stupid and nonfunctional things. This game is not ready and if will be, it will be wery bad. Konami wants only money, they dont care on gamers. One of the worst soccer what i ever play, maybe this is worst. Ind if start microtransaction game is not fairplay, not for great team for money, no. Like i said, they let win wery bad players, cause they want their coins. If you play with noobs, they will make easier for them and make it harder for you. Its like punch in my face with this unfair konami fraud.… Expand

    So after playing eFootball, here are my thoughts about the game.

    The game was a rebrand of PES but sadly it didn't too good, the UI is a issue, the colors of blue and yellow is not a good fit. However the pre-game intro cutscenes is a good add as well as the stadiums intros, but it's the only good thing. Gameplay is a problem, the game is suffering from bugs and something there can be    So after playing eFootball, here are my thoughts about the game.

Gameplay is a problem, the game is suffering from bugs and something there can be framerate issues and it can be glitchy at times. Ball physics is a mess and the animation are not that consistent. Graphics is not good, it never was good as the teasers. The big problem is that the game is lacking content.
    Overall, I cannot honestly recommend eFootball. What would be a big step for the series instead turned into a mobile based game, and it's disappointing because the teaser shows promise of the series only to instead become a disappointment. And for the game that was supposed to be a next gen makes it more disappointing.

    Far away from perfect but good progress with latest update.
    Still looks like a demo. Gameplay have some response issues to change between defence - offence, especially in collusions

    Awful, plays like a mobile game.

    Absolutely loved PES 20 and 21.

    Played 4 games, deleted and then purchased FIFA. FIFA has absolutely awful defensive ability, but at least I am playing a next gen not mobile game.

    I have been a fan for PES for 12 years, although there were some years that it was not good, but I can say this year is the worst. What the hell did they do with the gameplay? Terrible graphics and a lot of bugs. They did a really good job of 20 and season update 21, I thought PES is coming back after a long time had been taken over by Fifa.     Jogo lixo !!!! Toda hora sai gol de Kick off isso não é futebol nem aqui nem na china fico indignado com esse bug por que maior trabalho para construir a jogada para fazer gol ai vai o adversário faz gol de kick off e ainda vira a partida e isso acontece sempre chega desinstalei o jogo de todas as plataforma que tenho e ainda me arrependo de ter agastado dinheiro nesse jogo de ping ping maluco

    In an 100% unfinished game, the only option you have is playing against opponents that most of them are GRANDFATHERS if not dead. Kahn, Beckenbauer, R.Carlos, Beckham, Owen, Romario. PUKE. Just name it eFootball back to past or time machine. And you don't have any option to avoid those pay to win players. NO. PUKE. I won't comment about the AWFUL lag on online matches most of    No no no!

    In an 100% unfinished game, the only option you have is playing against opponents that most of them are GRANDFATHERS if not dead. Kahn, Beckenbauer, R.Carlos, Beckham, Owen, Romario. PUKE. Just name it eFootball back to past or time machine.

    And you don't have any option to avoid those pay to win players. NO. PUKE.

    I won't comment about the AWFUL lag on online matches most of the time, the scripted performance of your players against those paid players (suddenly everyone is like drunk) and the full of bugs gameplay (red cards or penalties that you can only laugh with).

    Forget about the funny bugs in this game: I never imagined the sheer amount of downgrades eFootball would introduce in terms of gameplay, when they have worked so hard to make PES the de facto king of gameplay. The ball physics have gone 11 years back, the passing physics, the shooting physics, the entire feel of the game is as simple-minded as that of a mobile game. Gone is the nuancedForget about the funny bugs in this game: I never imagined the sheer amount of downgrades eFootball would introduce in terms of gameplay, when they have worked so hard to make PES the de facto king of gameplay. The ball physics have gone 11 years back, the passing physics, the shooting physics, the entire feel of the game is as simple-minded as that of a mobile game. Gone is the nuanced off-ball player movement that invited intelligent and purposeful passing. Forget about tactics, you now have 5 varieties to choose from instead of the hundreds of varieties you had. Player awareness... What player awareness? The ball rolls (i.e. skids) all over the pitch ignored by one player after the other. But what about the manual physical defending I was so excited about? Yeah thaey replaced the Pass button with an Pass+L2 broken mechanic which magnetizes your defender to the ball till he steals it. It's just way more forgiving and can shove a plyer from the back and steal the ball, no foul given. The referee -the biggest change I wanted to see- is actually WORSE than last year's game. I can go on and on forever. Net physics downgraded.... etc. What a disaster of a game launch. This game needs 1-2 more years of very hard work to turn things around, that's how hopeless it is at the moment. Oh, and I'm not saying this because "I don't want to relearn the new game"... I actually haven't lost a single game online despite using full manual controls. The game just blows and is a disgrace to Konami. At the very least, it's no longer called PES. Imagine seeing this as a positive.… Expand

    eFootball 2022 in its latest version (1.0) shows some occasional glimmers of former PES glory, but it is still painfully far from being a full-fledged game, both in terms of features and gameplay, which is ruined by sluggishness, weak AI, poor animations and questionable physics.

    eFootball 1.0.0 version is a substantially better game than the one we got in september. However, it does little more than the bare minimum to actually be considered a game - what we had before was pretty much a tech demo. With an array of missing features and unforgivable absences in its game modes, as well as an improved yet inconsistent gameplay, eFootball is to PES what MK Dons is to Wimbledon FC.

    Yes, at least eFootball 2022 does now have a fully-fledged mode to take it past the point of being a demo, but it’s still lacking so much more than you’d expect from a 1.0 version of a game.
