To this end, we decided to create a new soccer engine with a newly built animation system and revamped game commands.
    The final result was even more impressive than we had originally conceived.
    We went beyond the border of PES, into a new realm of virtual soccer.
    To signal this new era, we have decided to part ways with our beloved PES brand and rename it "eFootball™"!

    Launching a game, even free-to-play, in such a sorry state is a total lack of respect for the user, and in this case, for the history of the once best soccer franchise.

The game has since been updated, making it a much more tolerable experience than before. I can't wait to see what they can do with future updates.… Expand

    We really can't go one year without being served an awful F2P title, can we. eFootball 2022 is nearly unplayable due to broken cameraWe really can't go one year without being served an awful F2P title, can we. eFootball 2022 is nearly unplayable due to broken camera positioning, unresponsive controls and aggressively cheap opponent AI while your teammates that you don't control just stand there sniffing ass. This game is not only a disgrace to Konami's already faded name but to Soccer in general. The only positive about this laughable catastrophe is that it's free - barely. I say that because it comes at a cost for your soul, the mental toll that comes with fighting the attrocious gameplay. I never imagined I'd ever say this, but...play FIFA instead.… Expand

Imperdonable lo de Konami, que volvió a cometer el mismo error de 2013-14 y otra vez nos trató como basura a los fans. Siquiera alcancé a comprarme en formato físico el gran PES 21. Sad… Expand

Dybala and Insigne can win against Benzema in aerial duel.. Defenders move from their position leaving big gaps in defence, even if tactics is all defence.... Practicaly KONAMI destroyed all the fairness and fun in the game after update 1.0.… Expand
