    You have verrrrry limited storage and you drop ALL YOUR GEAR when you die. Oh god it is a frustrating mess that doesn't deserve the hype, it's all nostalgia goggles except for the art design and atmosphere, which are excellent

    Unplayable, it keeps crashing and deleting savegames. I had to restart from the beginning twice.

    The game is beautiful and awesome but the servers are always down and now you have a queue to play it so the servers can handle it. This is absurd!

    It is an amazing and legendary game with a lot of nostalgic value. The resurrected version looks good. But the performance by Blizzard with the server and patch issues is just unacceptable. Have they not tested anything before rolling it out?

    I had great fun with the game until last week, first i lost all of my online characters, then after the newest patch i can't even press play, id doesn't do anything.
    I'm giving it 3 more days before I go for a refund.
    She really Blizzards is going down the drain.

    Very dated game indeed. Only for die hard fans. Normal player will get bored too soon. They should remake it, not remaster.

    Ive had the game almost a full 2 weeks. No new patches. Game consistently crashes. Sometimes losing hours of play time. Absolutely unacceptable to not implement an autosave feature.

    This game is closer to a 1 than a 10 by far. Why?

    If you have played Diablo 2 on PC prior to resurrected than you realize this game is built for online play... Trading, farming, grinding levels, etc. On PC you don't have to play with 8 people to get more loot. You can just set the game to 8 player difficulty and get that same XP and loot.     The consoles is nothing like Diablo 2 as far as online goes and your ability to increase loot and XP. If you have played through Hell you will realize farming, grinding and trading are none existent in groups. The lobby is not included, the player numbers are non-existent and the game feels completely empty.

    Its not D2 as I remember nor is it D3. It is solo Diablo 2 with a ridiculous loot wall at the end. Buy the PC version or stay clear.    … Expand

That is weird as all high-level content is about trading and grouping up with other players. Now I have 50 lvl char and for the time being I have met only 3 (!!!) players in party finder for the whole gaming    the remaster is good enough. Runs smooth and great.

    Diablo 2 was a fantastic game, but it came out 21 years ago. The genre has moved on and this reboot offers nothing new for the price of a full game. It just doesn't make sense. Has been published purely to cash in on old IP.

    The game is barely functioning, not even talking about the amount of bugs in the game.
    You don't even have the ability to play since the servers are always unavailable.
    It is obvious that Blizzard didn't want to put any money on resources for this game, hence the terrible servers.
    After warcraft 3 reforged, and cyberpunk i can't trust any company. last pre order I ever make for any game.

    Server issues affecting even offline game mode. After several updates a blackscreen error started to pop up. At the moment it seems pretty unplayable.

    Что могу сказать. Ремастер сам по себе очень хорош. Однако я уже 5ый день не могу поиграть. Даже при игре оффлайн персонажем - он просто не сохранился. Это издевательство.

    Но игра не дает в нее поиграть, увы

    Do not buy any console version of this game. No lobbies, no chat, MM is broken, bugs and server issues. There are some performance issues and sometimes game is struggling to run smoothly. Console will HARD CRASH is console geos to rest mode with D2R suspended. Customer service is useless.

    Graphics are nice and it is fun to play when it works. Loading is much quicker compared to PS4    Do not buy any console version of this game.     You'll need an internet connection even to play offline. You can loose your progress anytime. You can not refund your purchase. I feel scammed. It's s beta-quality game for a full price.

    99 level for two characters and one of them on Hardcore mode, without booster of XP - 1000+ ours!!! For the Platinum trophy. This is insane.

    I thought that it is easy to make the same game 20 years later, but something went wrong. This game is just rubbish. It disconnects, it says that you don’t have the character anymore and you need to make it again, that you don’t have Internet connection, but I have 500 Mb/s! And it has the longest downloads for 2021! I wanted to send this game back to Blizzard, but I was refused for return!

    Same goes to remastered graphics. It has it's flaws like terrible assassin and amazon faces but overall it's incredibly good. And here goes a big BUT. Blizzard yet again failed to create a stable network and connection.     This game is simply unplayable. The servers are down frequently, and you can’t access your characters offline. There is now a waiting queue to connect to Battle.net, and you’ll spend more of your time waiting to connect than you do actually playing.     This is a censored version of Blizzard’s classic looter. What was the point of bragging about how much attention to detail was given to replicate the original’s graphics if you couldn’t get the basics of the character models right? All the classes look like they’ve aged 20 years as if the models actually aged in between the original and “remaster”. Blizzard even censored some of the enemy models and backgrounds. Blizzard knew the outrage from fans over the changes they made to the character designs and doesn’t seem to care and released it in this condition anyway. The only reason I gave this game a 1 is that you can switch back to the original uncensored graphics but that kind of defeats the purpose of buying a remaster in the first place and that doesn’t really fix the ugly models which are still present. Don’t support this “remaster” with your money the original unbastardized version is still available to play.… Expand

    Really wish I could give this game a 10 cause I love it when I can actually play it. But everyday since release in the mornings atleast this game has been unplayable. If your thinking about getting this game dont or expect to be really dissatisfied...

    You can basically only play single player on console. Terrible lobby system. Just buy it on PC. I would not recommend buying it on console, unless you like playing SSF.

    If blizzard don’t take action this game will be dead on arrival on consoles. And knowing blizzard I am not holding my breath.

I reached 3 times Act3 and the game crashed and sent me back to the start of act 2. we are talking around 10 hours of gameplay from act2 to act3. f@ck you blizzard. really. i was a fan since warcraft1 but this is enough. you f-us once with warcraft3 remake, you did it withUnbelievable.     While the remaster brings little new to the table other than a fresh coat of paint, cross play and remade cutscenes. Diablo II and its expansion feel as exciting, threatening and as ruthless as ever. The lions share of the quality-of-life improvements are found in the console version, with an excellent use of the controller, added hotkeys and general accessibility. Yet, the remaster does nothing to dumb down or meddle with the overall experience. Instead, for returning players, this is Diablo II as you remember it to be. For new players, while missing a lot of features that most ARPGS have today, there is a lot to love about this aging gem and it is still worth experiencing even decades later.

    Diablo II is one of the best ARPG's in gaming history, and Vicarious Visions haven't made many changes for Diablo II: Resurrected. Visually, there's a stark difference and it looks great while keeping the atmosphere. A few quality of life changes help keep this fresh and make it playable on consoles, but it just doesn't go far enough at points. This ageing master may have had a facelift, and it's one you can have a fantastic time with, but you can hear the creaking of its bones.

    Certainly it's great to see an all time classic enshrined and restored for modern day use. Additionally it opens up the game to exclusively console players that never played the original Diablo 2 on PC. There's no denying its significance in gaming history, and looks wonderfully sharp in 4k, but the age of the source code is evident. Diablo faithfuls will get a great nostalgic kick on the clunky ever-grind that is Diablo 2: Resurrected, but it would be a difficult recommendation for any series newcomers.
