    Played the original ps3 version and then gave up as it was too hard. Since then finished all the dark souls and bloodbourne since and decided to wait until they remade it, which they have, and its spectacular. Very soild and much better than the original. Bluepoint need to do all the From soft games as they look and run superbly.

Blue Point ha tocado los justo para que el gameplay no se notase anticuado, como el arreglo de la cámara y la implementación del rodado en 8 direcciones (antes era 4). Además han añadido un grandísimo modo foto y un editor de personajes muchísimo mejor que los que incorpora From Software. EnIncreíble puesta al día, respetando los elementos del original, pero gráficamente espectacular.     Simply incredible. They not only remaked it completely from a graphical standpoint, but they did Quality of Life improvements to make the experience in line with modern days combat. Bluepoint are wizards.

    A fantastic game with Dual Sense and the Pulse 3D support. I played it on PlayStation 3 before, but this remake still give me hyped, definitely will do more exploration in the game.

    Vale, dejando a parte la de gente retrasada que esta haciendo review bombing, este remake es una obra maestra, es de los mejores remakes que he visto, no diré mucho más por que es el primer souls y es algo que debes experimentar por ti mismo.

    Beautiful global illumination in a stunning performance mode at 60fps with outstanding fidelity makes this game look and feel amazing, the 3d audio with haptic feedback will make u jump out your seat when getting surprisingly ambushed by tough enemies. This game is full of content to keep u busy for many hours. Demon's Souls for ps5 is a true masterpiece.

    This is an absolute travesty, I see no reason to give it anything above a zero when its quite literally the exact same game I already own but with an "americanized" artstyle. Bluepoint "remade" a great artists masterpiece by turning it into a disney animatronic ride where you need to be at least 110cm tall to enter.     Un jeu sublime, tant par son visuel que par son ambiance et son gameplay. Bluepoint frappe fort et devient maintenant un studio incontournable dans le milieu du jeux vidéo.

    This Demon's Souls remake is just woaw...
    Graphism are just so incredible and the dualsense just make the game more impressive.
    For 70$ or 80€ (in europe), i really recommand it. If you want to feel the true next gen, you will have it only for 80€ and that's a good point too.
    In my opinion this game deserve so much game awards price !!!

    Does it have a buggy launch? Not really. It's possibly the most polished souls game you'll play on launch. Of course there are some cheesy exploits that have been overlooked, but overall, you can run an entire playthrough without encountering any.

    Is the art style generic, or worse than the original? No. Well this is subjective, but I quite liked the art style. It's insane how Bluepoint pulled off some good looking picturesque scenes with such high fidelity photorealism. Also if you dont like the art style, you can change the filters in the settings. Which give it a more ps3 look.

    There really isnt much I can add further, it's a solid game which isnt as brutally hardcore as other souls game, and I quite enjoyed it for that. It's a nice balanced experience that's perfect for casuals and veterans.    … Expand

    What a masterpiece. Bluepoint did a stellar job maintaining the integrity of the original game, while sharpening it's visuals. This is the launchpoint for the "Souls" genre. The atmosphere, difficulty, combat, and lore are incredible.

I've beat dark souls twice, Bloodborne once and dark souls 3 once which was my favourite. didn't like ds2 and ran out of steam on sekiro. I didn't play the original Demon Souls, but this remake is absolutely genius. To me, a more casual from player, it feels like a true sequel to Dark souls 1, with the slower paced combatI love FROM games, but I wouldnt call myself a true veteran.     This is how we give a second chance to a masterpiece. This is by far the most beautiful game I've ever played, lights and shadows like we've never seen. And the gameplay is not old at all, this is trully modern and people giving this a bad score are not video-games lovers.

    Amazing game, like any Souls the game design is perfect, and the gameplay demanding, but for the first time a Souls comes with high level graphics, a lesson for From Software, hope Elden Ring won't be less beautiful!

I am personally a big souls fan and have now played all of them, demon souls being the only one I hadn’t played before. This is arguably the best remake out there. Blueprint did a fantastic job bring this game into the next generation. I played in performance more and never got any frame dips, I would recommend not playing this in cinematic mode, I could tell any difference out side of slightly higher resolution. If you like a challenge and are on the fence about getting this game I absolutely recommend it. I now understand why people call blue point the king of the remake.… Expand

    What is there to say, its a souls game. They took the game that started it all and built it from the ground out and gave it a rocket engine to boot.
    I love this when it came out on the ps3 and love it even more on the PS5.     Amazing game and excellent launch for the new generation of consoles. This and miles morales are the only games that feel next-gen and it's easy to dismiss it as a remake when Xbox launches with absolute Nada, nothing. A little hard but that's the fun of it. Play as a royal if you don't want to git gud.

    Disgraceful remake. FromSoft's art direction is lost here thanks to western developers thinking they know better. The environments, the lighting, the NPCs, the bosses and enemies, the voice acting, the sound design, and the soundtrack all have very drastic and awful changes to them. Don't get this if you're a fan of the Souls games.

    Realmente sorprendido de la calidad de este juego, normalmente en los juegos tipo souls el apartado grafico no es lo principal, pero con demons soul tienes todo 10/10 jugabilidad y graficos. Realmente lo disfruto mucho.

    Bluepoint just prove that they’re the best studio for remakes give them any game and they will do it justice, not just demon souls feels fresh but they manage to keep it authentic like the original one but make it feel different in the same way.     The game is beautiful and I know they wanted it to be like the original, but they could have made the game a little more fun and the bosses more difficult, I know many had trouble passing the game but I found it very easy compared to other soul's games . but no less is a good game.

    I went in expecting Demon's Souls and what I got was a mix of Nioh and a generic Souls style game. The art style is far from the original and it shows that the people in charge did not understand the art style of the game and much less the idea behind the characters.     Nice game. The best Souls in graphics and art, but, Bluepoint failed in many easy things like the HUD, the soundtrack and some character modeling, ruining part of the essence. Anyway, this is probably one of the best Souls ever made, and that´s something amazing

    A fantastic launch game that everyone should have in their collection. The amount of detail that went into everything, I mean even the sounds are unbelievable. All in all, the game may be a little bit challenging, but when you finish a “Boss” or Demon, you’ll never want to put it down.

    Bluepoint completely destroyed the Soundtrack, Art Direction, Sound Design, Atmosphere and Environmental Story telling of Demon's Souls. Anyone who played the original Demon's Souls, but also likes this abomination is not a true fan of Hidetaka Miyazaki, From Software and the Soulsborne games. Only people who didn't experience the original Demon's Souls can like this garbage remake,Bluepoint completely destroyed the Soundtrack, Art Direction, Sound Design, Atmosphere and Environmental Story telling of Demon's Souls.     Blue point have improved themselves already in shadow of the Colossus remake so yes demon's souls is a great remake they improved alot of things i didn't play the original demon's souls so i don't know what they changed but still this game is one of the best game that i ever played Pls: sorry for my bad English

    This is the best remake ever, it adds new stuff while preserve the orignals essence. Everyone should at least try it, i know people will say that its too hard but it isnt, the game is very fair with the player

    It’s a perfect remake and I think the only people who might be disappointed with it are… the die-hard FromSoftware fans. You see, the new Demon’s Souls shows clearly how much Miyazaki’s games have evolved throughout the years. The Dark Souls series simply does everything better. The remake looks like a prototype in comparison, while still being way ahead of other developers’ achievements in this genre. [01/2021, p.46]

    Overall, Demon’s Souls is still the most interesting and varied game in the Souls series. This remake not only looks lovely on the PlayStation 5 but is also a joy to play with all the tweaks and improvements that have been introduced. Now if only people would look past its supposed difficulty and see its carefully crafted intricacy instead.

    I went in expecting the world out of the Demon’s Souls remake and it delivered me the galaxy. I don’t normally speak this highly of games, but this is the one exception. Absolutely every facet of the original has been enhanced and it has stood the test of time. Bluepoint has done an incredible job at not only reinvigorating an underappreciated gem, but also leveraging the new technologies afforded to them with Sony’s new system. While there are a couple of minor technical blemishes, they don’t take away from how good of an experience this game is and Bluepoint’s diligence as a developer will surely see these kinks ironed out. This game is a system seller.
