    The Void engine strikes again. Разрабы опять по-свински отнеслись к пк игрокам, высрав этот кривой кусок кода. Это говно статтерит, дропает фпс до 40 и ниже на топовых видеокартах. И ладно бы было чему лагать. Игра представляет из себя локации-кишки с графикой 2005 года. Так что ставлю заслуженную 1, а разрабам желаю банкротства.The Void engine strikes again.     So boring. I was so excited for this game based on the trailers and showcases at cons. But this game is boring, not fun, uninteresting, and a ripoff. Wish I could get my money back

    Sorry to write this, but it's completely impossible to play RT mode on PS5. The mode itself looks disgusting (what happens to the shadows cannot be described in words), so it also starts at 30fps. Dear Arkane Games, please fix RT mode to PC level and make it 60fps. I really like the game, but what happens to the technical part is just awful.

    I liked the atmosphere of the game and the graphics were decent, didn’t have any bugs in the 6/7 hours i played and the voice acting is some of the best ever. But surface level stuff is all this game is. The stealth gameplay is ps3 level primitive and once you get some loot in the first few hours its so mind-numbingly easy it borders ridiculous.     The mission/lead setup seems novel at first but you quickly realise everyone plays exactly the same and it all takes place on 4 areas which are about the size of an average 6v6 cod map which obviously gets tedious very quickly especially as you keep having to go in and out of areas and advancing time and figuring stuff out yourself and repeating over and over and over again. It’s so unrewarding and doesn’t match the grossly outdated gameplay. The story seems decent but it’s a chore to follow with all the hoops you have to jump through just to play the game. This game feels like a £20 indie rather than a full priced headliner. Worth that price if you are willing to do almost all immersive legwork yourself and don’t mind an extremely slow paced repetitive grind. Otherwise avoid.    … Expand

    Game is extremely boring, graphics are poor and concept is just confusing and not fun! In fairness I didn’t like dishonoured either so not sure Arkane games are for me.

    I read all these reviews praising this game, I dont get it. This game is so cheezy. I cant get into it. I keep trying but I dont know, I loose interest within a half hour. I keep giving this game an honest try but for some reason it just doesn't do it for me. You die and return back to retry everything. Kinda like returnal. This game i feel like is trying too hard or something. TheI read all these reviews praising this game, I dont get it. This game is so cheezy. I cant get into it.     It's currently unplayable due to a bug where you cannot exit the menu. I'm waiting for a patch to fix it before playing any further. I suggest others don't buy the game until it is fixed.

And these devs should be ashamed of themselves for making a game with 12hr playtime and 3 hours of gameplay.

    I guess Microsoft got its unicorn. Hopefully Elderscrolls 6 doesn’t suffer the same garbage shortcut date as this pile.

    After Dishonored was good, but the sequels were not i was worried about this. And yeah its not great. Main characters are not likable, we can't the player character at all. Very few areas and its only one day repeated. Its a trial and error to pass this, you don't feel get any sense of progression from playing like other Bethesda games.

Only second to the worst game I ever played in my life, Cyberpunk 2077. The dumb AI didn't notice me when I was right in front of them. And when they did, they can't even be consistent.     The graphics are terrible and look very cartoonish. This whole "artstyle" stuff is just an excuse for developers to be cheap and lazy. When I pay $60, I expect high quality visuals, especially if it is a next-gen only game. The loop stuff is also an excuse to make the short campaign longer. The sound effects are laugable. The animations are trash. The physics are beyond horrible. The textures are pathetic, especially the water textures.

    The multiplayer is so boring. You can only play 1v1 invasion. No team deathmatch, no capture the flag, no nothing. The greedy developers were too cheap and lazy to develop a multiplayer that can hold at least 4 players. I don't recommend this game at all. Nothing in this game screams next-gen.     Graphics: somehow the game looks worse than the footage we saw before the delay, which already looked bad.
    Story: boring and predictable.
    Conclusion: avoid this game, it is not worth it, Arkane simply have lost their touch.

    Despite great looking animations and overall style of the game, it is a mess.
    Repetitive as hell, you will have to do same thing over and over, I know the concept, but when you need to run throw whole location to turn a switch to run second location and get a piece of paper to make this 4 more times.     Whole story is consistent of UI mess and a tons of letter / notes and other staff that I have beed bored to read after 1st hours. Resurrection is special threat - if you die in crowded location, you will respawn in the same place, which leads to two more death and loop to reload. Please spare yourself and don’t play it.     Dishonored reskin. Looks like a ps3 game. Thank God we live in these times where you can actually see gameplay online as opposed to having lived 20yrs ago and buying the game randomly and hoping it doesn’t suck. This is a hard pass for me.

    It's a enough good game, while we know that right now there is no new cool games among all remasters and remakes. It feels Arkane's love for details and multiple ways to go through. But there is many bugs and sometimes I don't want to believe that Arkane make such buggy project. Also ending is not satisfied.
    Still the game is cool. And it's cooler the most of latest new title.

    Basically HITMAN "find target" mechanic with some Dishonored gun feeling.
    Pretty bad. I'd give it a 4 but i wanna lower this to 0 so people bombing it to 10 stop fanboying over a game that adds nothing new to the table since hitman already did it.

Clunky controls and aim sensitivity maxed takes like a full 3 seconds to do a 360° spin. Will rate it a 4/10 when those are fixed, because this game still kinda sucks… Expand

    This game is a disgrace to what Arkane used to put out. Worse world interactivity than Dark Messiah (a 15yo source engine game released by the same dev), worse AI than that game and Dishonored (and many other, more prolific old PC games), edgy, **** voiceacting, and PC optimisation is a joke.

This is the only game that does this, so I'm led to believe it is definitely a software issue. I filed a ticket with Bethesda.     Another game from Arkane that doesn't measure up to the original Dishonoured. You can't kill the visionaries the way you want to. You have to get them together in very limited ways at certain times. This means playing the same levels over and over again until you discover what the visionaries weaknesses are.     The time mechanic doesn't factor in at all because although you are stuck in a time loop it is split into morning, noon, afternoon and night. The only thing is you can spend as much time as you want in these respective time zones and the areas you choose to spend a time zone in but there is no real time timer like in majoras mask so the whole premise doesn't really work.

    Since triple A games face have become so free form that you can usually do whatever you want when you want this game doesn't allow for that and feels outdated for it.

    The abilities have been recycled from dishonoured aswell and renamed. Arkane manages to disappoint more and more with each new game since the original Dishonoured which I don't think they will ever surpass.

    I'm a few hours into this now, and i'm.. bored? The FPS shooter stuff feels very last gen and not interesting, the game world feels dull, the AI is average, the story isn't all that interesting. I'm probably in the minority, but I don't feel compelled to boot up the PS5 and carry on with this.

    I feel like I'm missing something with this game.

    By far one of the clunkiest games to come out in the last 30 years. Ai is lazy, level design is claustrophobic, and movement within the game is disastrous getting you killed more often than not. I will not be buying another game made by Arkane after experiencing this poor excuse of an IP.

    Avoid if you are planning on using a controller. The game feels awful to play if you have a bit of experience with first person shooters. The sensitivity seems to do almost nothing when you crank it up or down, and there are no real fixes for the issue. The game might've been great if they were to fix this issue, but it is unlikely given the age if the game.

    The well known menu bug still exists even after the last patch. This bug makes the game unplayable, because you have to restart the game when it occurs and because there are no saves within a day you will lose all your progress on that day. If you‘re unlucky, several hours of effort are gone. It occured to me twice within 4 hours of total playtime. 4 Hours of wasted life.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Too grindy. Dumb bosses. There are only 4 maps that you play over and over. If you die in the gas chamber or ice, then you lose everything, wasting hours of collecting residuum. It's a game for children with hours of their life to waste on some boolean values. If you have a job, this is not for you

    This game lts no a shooter. Is a rouguelike with to bad in mechanics. There only 4 scenarios not pretty good and tiny. I know the game it's about a Bucle that you had to stop it, but it's annoying earing one and one again the same dialogs and killing the same bosses too repetitive. Grafics looks good with one or two bugs and the story is fine but this condition the game mechanics.

    Deathloop offers well-designed stealth levels under the core gameplay of Roguelike. At the same time, the variety of weapons and special powers also support the exciting combat. Julianna's "invasion" adds the uncertainty of the game, but may also spoil the player's experience.

    I’m honestly surprised, because I did not expect to have so much fun with Deathloop. It draws some gameplay ideas from Dishonored, but introduces time-related mechanics, offers an intriguing story with interesting characters and has its own unique and coherent style. It’s an original game, full of surprises and addictive, but not necessarily easily digestible for everyone. For me however it’s one of the best titles of 2021. [11/2021, p.22]

    Deathloop is Arkane at its best, combining its system-driven immersive-sim gameplay with a unique and fascinating story set-up. Excellent presentation and style, along with fantastic dialogue and character performances makes Deathloop one of the most innovative games in years and a valuable PS5 exclusive.
