    The worst COD by far, especially storywise. Not one thing this iteration does better than any cods before it. Been buying them every year but this one left such a horrible aftertaste in my mouth than I'm just gonna skip the next couple of them unless they fire the people who made and wrote this garbage.

    Ignore these Call of Duty fanboy 12 yo's who gave this game higher score. This would be better if it was actual add on for MW19 because it's basically a reskin and nothing else. CoD is becoming again copy pasted **** like over 5 years ago. MW19 looks more next gen than this garbage

It is way worse. I talked a lot about WW2 with my grandpa who was lucky to survive. These groups themselves are not at all a problem but the way they are prefered over accuracy only to satisfy the modern spitit is really sad. People, german as well as allied, gave their lives for their countries and their sacrifice isn't honoured but is instead ridicouled through female elite snipers "kicking some Nazi butt" as a review of this game once stated.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game is bankrupt of any kind of creativity. All of the characters common from a specific war stereotype. Polina had a good story, but the overall mission was quite predictable and her father dying wasn’t really much of a surprise to me. However the rest of the campaign is terrible, story wise. Arthur is in my opinion, a shallow character and the stereotypical leader. Worse is the scripted events and cutscenes. I felt like I was watching the game instead of playing it, and sometimes scripted events occurred (the instant when polina shot the German flamethrower dude in the back and set him ablaze, and the grenade thing in the last mission). Overall, the story is filled with cliches, and by the end I was happy it was over. Multilayer is WORSE than the campaign. The time to kill is essentially the equivalent to COD ghosts time to kill, and the maps just make you act like a chicken with your head cut off, just searching for kills. Worse, killstreaks like the dog suck, insta killing the player, and you never know when the dog come because it sometimes comes right behind you. Gun play is okay, but the progression actual sucks. the team MVP is terrible, and it’s clear the devs simply recycled animations because they were too lazy. Don’t even get me started on zombies. Treyarch was put in charge of creating the mode, and they screwed it up big time. Reminding you this was the same studio that created the mode and what I is, and they screwed up. I can’t believe how bad it is. For anyone wishing to pick this game up, do not. It is essentially an insult to the gamer community, and a cash grab. The game is overpriced and worthless. In fact, this game makes COD WW2 look like a better experience.… Expand

    An absolute pitiful try at a call of duty title. The campaign is so bland with characters that are so boring and unlikable, fully unlovable, faces that are straight punchable. The Multi-player is boring. Maps are repetitive, zombies Is an absolute joke. Do not waste any money on this trash. I'm so happy I got a refund.

    Качество игры - ниже плинтуса, я бы сделал лучше.
    Проблемы мультиплеера: 1) Респавн в бою. Вы появляетесь всегда перед противником и мгновенно умираете в 75% случаев. 2) Если вы кого то убили то он заспавнится сразу же сзади вас и вы умрете. 3) Настройки по умолчанию.    Про сюжет - не исторично и близко, разработчики не умеют запускать браузер и поисковую систему. Считайте, что его нет.
    Качество игры - ниже плинтуса, я бы сделал лучше.
    Проблемы мультиплеера:
    1) Респавн в бою. Вы появляетесь всегда перед противником и мгновенно умираете в 75% случаев.
    2) Если вы кого то убили то он заспавнится сразу же сзади вас и вы умрете.
    3) Настройки по умолчанию. Кнопка идти в перед не назначена, все кнопки дико перепутаны. Чувствительность мыши была в ноль.
    4) Графические баги, мерцают текстуры и тени.
    5) Оружие. Как будто школьник на юнити игру делал, картонная палка без отдачи.

    Vanguard could have been a good game, but lags, packet burst & dev error 5573 make it frustrating to play! The Story is too short. But the worst part is, there is no RB Zombies and no Easter Egg! Very very disappointing! 80€ for an unfinished game. Definetly too much! Im done!

    I wasted 65 dollars for this game as avid lover of the call of duty franchise. I've put up with the worse and by far this has to be the worst call of duty I've ever played. It's so boring I couldn't even get past the first mission of the campaign because it was so boring. Looked so dull and just boring. I gave it another chanced and literally went to go get some salad ate then slept withI wasted 65 dollars for this game as avid lover of the call of duty franchise. I've put up with the worse and by far this has to be the worst call of duty I've ever played. It's so boring I couldn't even get past the first mission of the campaign because it was so boring. Looked so dull and just boring. I gave it another chanced and literally went to go get some salad ate then slept with the campaign still on! You honestly couldn't pay me to play this game. No amount of money is worth the frustration of the campaign The COD WAW campaign was extremely better than this. How do you let a 2008 game with dukie graphics out shine you 13 years later. This games a joke. The multiplayer I find enjoyable and quite fun. Until you get your cheeks clapped and pummeled by the STG-44 with vital. Or the 2 shot kill BAR. The time to die is let alone cheeks but then you allow a 2 shot kill gun no way. I've tried not using meta I played 2 weeks in with the LMG42 and had a positive kd (1 .14). And was having fun but did not enjoy getting clapped by low levels in 1v1 situations by a gun who fist pumped me to the other side of the moon with VITAL. They've lowered the skill gap to let your casual player have more fun while also punishing the experienced player who's put time day by day hour to hour grinding the game. The multiplayer would be good if they just removed vital. That would make the guns balanced. AND THE WORST OF THE WORST ZOMBIES OMG THE ZOMBIES.

    All I'm going to say is I'm absolutely devastated. Zombies was the thing to get on after you got bored of multiplayer then get back on multiplayer as a fun rotation cycle. But the zombies this year was just boring no Easter egg, no wonder weapon, no packer-punch camo skin. Like come on wtf COD. AND JUST MAP AT LAUNCH, NO ROUNDBASED MAPS. I've played it multiple times to force my self to like it. But just experience dread and pain as the other zombies players in our public matches. The only time I have fun playing this game is hearing others complain about zombies in my match. And how there only playing to use the camos on multiplayer.

    To sum it up this game is a let down. I had hope but that hope soon turned to BUTCHEEKS STG-44 VITAL PUMMELING.    … Expand

Uninteresting story with "woke and inclusive" cast of badly written characters, bugs and random crashes, makes you wanna puke when you play it.

    Multiplayer is fun but also suffers from "woke and badly written Operators", unrealistic gun tuning, and imagine, NO GERMAN SOLDIERS AT ALL in ww2 game... Just stick to MW19 or even Cold War...    … Expand

    like 70% of the negative reviews are just negative reviews with no actual basis as to why it's negative.

    the game is fun, i enjoy it alot. The gunsmith is weird but fun, to see how you can change guns into monstrosities. I think most of the people that leave the negative reviews are just bad at the game smh.

The low TTK eliminates the impact of strategy and weapon builds as every gun is one-three shot, and you spawn right in front of enemies half the time. I won’t even go into all the bugs, even if they fixed everyone this would still be THE WORST COD EVER RELEASED. Once Caldera drops on the 8th no one will play this anymore, you can’t even find games now and THIS GAME WAS JUST RELEASED! This game will be officially dead on 12/8. Save your money, trust me, it’s not worth it. I don’t know what game all these 8+ Star rating people are playing but they need to either disclose how much Activision is compensating them to say that or put that crack pipe down.… Expand

    Enemies can hardly be noticed on the map.
    The 100 years old weapons are a piece of crap.
    After playing hundreds of hours on Verdansk, it's time to say good bye.

    bad game, no balance in multiplayer ... that weapons, that cards, poor respawns of the enemy, then in the face, then behind, and sometimes right in me ... there is no zombie mode ... there is no content from the word at all, another checkpoint part, it's a pity the money cannot be returned, I would have bought better Battlefield 2042

    Multiplayer is completely unplayable for me on PS5. The lag and latency issues ruin what would otherwise be a fun shooter. My connection is completely fine— black ops and modern warfare run like a dream as does warzone. Until this is sorted then I’ve just flushed 70 pounds down the drain.

    Constantly throws on Chinese servers. I live in Russia in the Far East, the Trans-Baikal Territory region. For good reason, I usually play on European servers, with a ping of 100-150, less often on Russian (80-100). But why the hell throws me to the Chinese, where my ping is 250-300, it's impossible to play, 9 out of 10 games I play with the Chinese. The game is good, but this fact spoilsConstantly throws on Chinese servers. I live in Russia in the Far East, the Trans-Baikal Territory region. For good reason, I usually play on European servers, with a ping of 100-150, less often on Russian (80-100).     A soulless, uninspired and basic shooter. The most simmered down form of the COD formula with the only upside being it's on next gen with better graphics. Historical accuracy has been thrown out the window. If you want a real WW2 experience I suggest the several other WW2 games in this franchise (World at War or WW2 2017) or even BF5.

    Call of Duty: Vanguard is a great Call of Duty entry with absolutely stellar ser pieces, fantastic visuals, and plenty of modes surrounding an excellently fun campaign. The only downsides are the muddied stories… not to mention what is happening in the company that published it. Highly recommended for CoD fans and people looking for a bit of mindless fun set in WW2.
