    Even when COD is same every year they managed to make worst COD ever! Bad visibility make game campery only, terrible spawn points and pointless kill streak spamming make this game really annoying. Adding forgetable campaign and bad instance of zombies make it even worse :(

    -controls are clunky
    -another WWII CoD
    -the sound is not fixed - they lied. There are times where my sound glitches so much it’s not even funny. It’s not even just about footsteps that you can’t hear (yeah, you still can’t hear them) -you always hear random weapon firing in the background that has nothing to do with what’s going on, it’s quite hard to focus on real game sounds -the    -controls are clunky

I’ve had games where I was literally the only one landing enough shots in a row to get a scorestreak, because if you die, you lose whatever kills you had accumulated towards it. Cold War’s was way better
    -horrible map designs. Some maps are way too big and some way too small for the different pacings. It should be limited to whichever pacing it was designed for. 6v6 on Red Star is just plan horrible. The designs of Das House or just plain bad. Just to give a few examples.
    -TTK is way too fast.
    -I personally don’t care about SBMM so I’ll leave that out of my review
    -some challenges for camos are just dumb - point blank range for snipers?!?
    -everyone gets the same operators, even your enemies, so that gets confusing really fast.
    -unlocking operators is tedious and boring.
    -brink back perk cards
    -I’m leveling to 55, playing the camping and putting that one in my library and will go back to Cold War until MW2 comes out in 2022.    … Expand

    The absolute worst Call of Duty they have ever put out. The gameplay is a step down from Cold War, the worst zombies mode ever released, and the worst, most cringe, terribly written campaign I’ve experienced maybe ever. While everything is bad, the writing is far and away the worst of it all. How this got the seal of approval from Activision/Blizzard I don’t think we’ll ever know.

The multiplayer is sabotaged by servers that make it pointless to play, and spawning that's so aggressively bad that it has to be an intentional choice. The time to kill is very short, so either you have amazing internet or you don’t even know you’ve been shot until a killcam starts.

    Singleplayer campaign is god awful, it's another cinematic movie experience because we don't have enough of them and we don't have enough games trying to preach and lecture us about something. It is truly a disgusting and disrespectful approach to the war it is meant to be covering, it truly is fan fiction for people who don't like games. Polina is the Mary Sue feminist strong woman character, then we have the bizarre option of a black British soldier who is apparently from a well off wealthy family who is incredibly intelligent (during that time, definitely not accurate) and we have a rogue German soldier along with a Yank and someone else... An odd cast of misfits who never are we truly interested in anyway. This is what happens when you let gaming journalists sway your decision making with games.

    Zombies is just bare, for as little content it provides it deserves as little content written about it. Abysmal.

    I'm not sure how, but it feels even worse than last year's call of duty cold war. To be honest I feel disgusted by the fact that I bought this, and I regret it 100%, and since this is Sony, I already know I'm not getting my money back regardless of how little I played. Last year's installment atleast had really fun zombies, this COD has nothing.

The game's extremely buggy, has one of the worst zombies modes in the entire series, poor characters, and a bad story in general that seemed to be very political with character choices. The campaign should be playable without a patch, but the developers were too cheap and lazy to make that happen. The short campaign only lasts for about 5 hours, and the greedy developers are charging $70 for this game. The gameplay is pretty much the same as the last game.     For goodness sake, what is it with these videogame developers being so obsessed with making a bunch of military games set in World War II and even the first World War? Enough already. Most people that will buy this game don't even know the Big Three Allies and its leaders of World War II, let alone when the war took place. This just goes to show how out of touch these developers are with their audience. People who love books would be interested in World War, not gamers. If they are going to make another World War game, then at least be historically accurate. They couldn't even get that right, which begs the question why couldn't they just make the game about a fictional war in modern setting? And just like any other modern big budget videogame studio, the developers added woke SJW trash in the game.

    The multiplayer is beyond horrible. The maps are so poorly designed. The spawn points are pathetic. The zombies mode is easily the worst zombie mode I have ever played in a Call of Duty game. The mode is objective-based rather than round-based. It lacks challenge compared to previous installments. You can't even pause in zombies mode when you are playing solo. The physics are poor and the AI is incredibly stupid. I don't recommend this game at all.    … Expand

    I downloaded it on Christmas Day. I didn't start to play it until this week. I was shocked how poor the graphics were on the xbox one. It literally looks like a 360 game. It plays like it also. The plane handling is garbage. How could a AAA game get it that wrong? The campaign plays like Battlefield 1. (groups of small stories). The multiplayer is, however, the game's strongest area out of the three, but the campaign is just historically wrong, and if they want females in the game as 50% of the campaign, then don't try to overwrite history.     Finally after so many low ratings I can give a solid 9 to a game (which turns into a 10 as here it's only zeroes and tens).
    Graphics, animations, facial expressions, story, gunfight honestly I liked all of it. Very very enjoyable the game, pretty much the only one that feels next-gen so far. Highly recommended to anyone that liked Modern Warfare series.

    Bad things happen when you mix games with politics. This game is a perfect example. So we have a black leader that is apparently aloud to lead units into battle in the year 1944 which is hilarious given the volume of racism at that time. But then comes the evil Nazi whatever rank he is that has a habit of roaming around town to slaughter civilians for no apparent reason, wasting needed supplies for the war effort with his iconic patrol and his best of the best Nazi commandos dressed in super cool clothing, cause they are the best right? So they gotta look the best. And then she faces the Nazi ds3 boss and his goons while alone. After she kills all the goons the legendary bossfight begins where amidst a ridiculous monologue he gets stabbed 5-6 times in the ribs and is yet able to stand, talk **** and move. Whats even more ridiculous is how is how he disappears after every stab instead of blasting the **** out of her with the dragon breath shotgun or whatever. After 15 minutes of casual British interactions they go to the roof where it's her turn to do the monologue **** and also talk **** for another 10 minutes, saying **** out of a 10 year olds brain, and she finally ends his hell of listening to her by kicking him off the building. Then there's the white supremacist narcissistic badass American pilot that gets shot down and is rescued and taught by an all black badass unit the value of giving up his "white privilege". Finally the Aussie that is absolutely discriminated upon from his tyrannical British colonial oppressor of a commanding officer that is a white male and a hardcore racist addicted to power. So black power, woman power, white male that learns the values of being black and the absolute victim of racism that ends racism with a punch and then proceeds to be jailed. Instead of making a war game that depicts the war with historical data, we have this woke call of duty "minorities version". Well it makes sense if you want to appeal to the woke brainless mob, but sure as hell the politics clean cod fans didn't ask for this. But you know, everything is political these days. Really can't wait for the lgbtq dlc. In this "historically accurate" ww2 game. In 1942. And of course the critic reviews are appealed by this politically correct video game that is meant for entertainment. As for the Nazis, the pure exaggeration of their evil made it hard to watch. The idea that the writers have for evil, is as naive as a 15 yo girl that is obsessed with these boy bands of questionable sexuality. First off the maps are garbage and trying to implement blitz mode was the worst idea possible as it just causes more spawn issues than the game already has on normal pacing. The guns are broken and can easily take out anyone and even the gun you get at the first level can be the most powerful gun in the game.     Guns are so damn bad to use, especially on first levels: you always need to fully level it up to unlock attachments that make them viable. Until last level they are garbage or almost.
    Shipment is now on a crippled version on TWO DIFFERENT LAYERS, never seen anything so dumb in my life before (in last years any old map ported to new CoD games has been ruined).
    I could go on, but I'm so sick of this game that I stop here.

    This game has sense only if played to unlock/level up guns for Warzone.
    Most of the time, not even that way.

    Save your money, buy anything else.

    The destroyable walls are the worst thing after SBMM. Useless.
    Weapons have more options then use. Unplayable. I would give one point cause it looks good, but sadly Activision is full of sex offender (hope thats the englisch werden) so thats 0 points

    This game is a huge disappointment from the start. The campaign is bland, multi-player is buggy and zombies is complete trash and useless. I'm a huge zombies fan since WaW and this zombies mode broke my heart. I honestly can say I teared up on how they ruined the zombies mode. They had so much potential with it and they just threw it out the window. What a shame.

    The movement of a plane looks like a Toy.
    All tanks look the same.

    Campaign is not that bad, only one iconic character with an interesting story, Polina.
    Multiplayer maps are pretty good, much better than MW, but not even close to Cold War's. Camo challenges are really painful and take too much time.

    Zombies mode has never been worse than this. No round-based map, no wonder weapons, no easter eggs, no intel, no pack-a-punch camo. Pretty poor.

    This is not a triple A project. I bought it for the sake of a network company and a zombie mode. There is absolutely no content in zombies. 3 tasks and 3 zombies for the whole game. In a network game, they do not show on the map where the battle is going on. Taking a perk for this is nonsense. All weapons are like shooting sticks. The sound environment is disgusting

    Call of Duty: Vanguard is a great Call of Duty entry with absolutely stellar ser pieces, fantastic visuals, and plenty of modes surrounding an excellently fun campaign. The only downsides are the muddied stories… not to mention what is happening in the company that published it. Highly recommended for CoD fans and people looking for a bit of mindless fun set in WW2.

    Even though the campaign is extremely predictable and the multiplayer is plagued with tones of issues, Call Of Duty: Vanguard is, after all, still a Call of Duty title, and will appeal to all hardcore Call of Duty fans.
