    Nothing special! It seems like to be systematic to publish a extremely ugly and bad beta that the final game do not look that bad for a 2021 shooter. But to be honstest its the same grafic level for years (what a shame) For sure the game mechanic is good but in fact its the same as in every COD just with new textures.     Keep in mind, most games released now a days are far from complete. When it comes to Vanguard, the game definitely need a good 8-10 months more to stew. Campaign is probably the only bright spot of the entire game which isn’t saying much. Multiplayer and Zombies are absolutely atrocious! “Packet Burst” is a phrase you’ll be seeing a lot when playing Vanguard. Multiplayer and Zombies are absolutely atrocious! “Packet Burst” is a phrase you’ll be seeing a lot when playing Vanguard. The enemies seem to kill you before they even pop up on your screen. The worst part about Multiplayer however, is the god awful spawn locations! I can’t tell you how many times I would spawn DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF THE ENEMY! Needless to say, it’s insanely frustrating to deal with. Even when the game first starts, it doesn’t take more then 1-2 seconds before you are already killed due to the awful spawns. In my opinion, it’s gamebreaking. Previous COD’s gave you a good 15-30 seconds to get into position before running into an enemy but Vanguard decided that the player needed to jump into the action right away, whether they are ready or not. It’s just awful.

    Many of the weapons are currently broken. Meanwhile, the “sweats” all use the same load out and attachments and why not? You won’t have much luck getting kills in this game unless you use the STG44, MP40, Or the Type 100. Hopefully we won’t have to wait long before we get some weapon buff/nerf patches to even things out. The new “blitz” game mode is exactly as advertised… sheer chaos. With the game already suffering when it comes to fair spawn locations, adding smaller maps and larger teams just make the game even more frustrating. A lot of players have resorted to camping and head glitching to get ahead in this game. Of course, nothing new in the COD universe but as I said before, coupled with the many bugs, glitches and poor game mechanics, it’s a recipe for disaster. There are some good aspects of the game however… the weapon customization is decent. The graphics are gorgeous as always and the game is nicely optimized for PC players. When it comes to Vanguard however, the cons heavily outweigh the pros. I’m optimistic about what the future can hold for Vanguard but the devs really need to buckle down and fix a lot of the flaws this game has.    … Expand

To this is added a very little awake ia.on the multiplayer side instead we have the addition of a new fun mode: we are talking about the hill of champions, a sort of tournament in duos and trios where the players will face each other as in a normal team deatmach but with the difference that for example you have 5 lives and your team is killed 5 times you are eliminated. The players will therefore have the task of keeping as many lives as possible in view of the final match. The maps have also been improved by adding larger maps with more cover. multiplayer now it must be communicated that the skill rank based matchmaking has not yet been fixed, giving more unbalanced games and favoring the strongest teams.

    Better than Cold War in every single aspect. The large variety of maps, improved graphics, improved hit detection and improved gun sounds all smash Cold War. The campaign is short but sweet! The Zombies mode is also a solid addition and tries to do something different than the standard round survival maps. It's not a perfect game by any means but it is a large improvement over stinky Cold War.

    Oh boy this again. People knocking it for not being as good as some other call of duty. Modern Warefare 2019 was a 10 in my book. Cold War was also great. 8.5. This is also an 8.5. I personally have already played more zombies then the last one. I like the way you have a hub and little missions and can bail out when you want. How a game with this much quality stuff can get less then an 8.5 seeing as what else is out there is crazy. Is guardians of the galaxy fun? Sort of? Acting is better, it’s funny. Combat better then COD or more fun? No way. Multiplayer? Nope. How could that game get a higher score than this? It’s crazy. COD is the only game that is continuing on with the classic half life style teary first person shooter. I think people forget the market isn’t Saturated anymore. This is it.     This game by no means is great. It's ok at best and definitely the worst of the three. The story mode, so far, isn't half bad. The characters are compelling enough to keep playing through even though it seems PC at times. It's nothing fantastic and pleases through narrative but who plays COD for the story mode. It may be fun at first playing with some friends but overall is very repetitive and becomes tiresome quickly. Last you have multiplayer. There's nothing that really stands out on multiplayer. Most of the levels are ok at best. The weapons are nothing to be excited about. Some are way overpowered and need to be nerfed. The killstreaks can be a pain. The worst part of all is dealing with constant hackers and cheaters. Almost every other match you're bombarded against a team who can easily shoot through walls and kill everyone while you're cornered at your spawn point. There needs to be better presence in banning these individuals. Hopefully when they launch their new cheating system, it will help out. Another annoyance is the long after game summary and voting system. It takes up too much time and seems unnecessary plus you can not back out during it. Overall the game is ok. Nothing spectacular. There is still plenty to be fixed and hopefully improved on if they want to keep people playing.… Expand

    I had high hopes as I really liked Cold War. Man was I disappointed. The MP experience is a total mess. You spawn right in front of enemies. Sometimes the same enemy two times in a row. Matchmaking is a joke. Matches are often lopsided and players quit mid game. Lot of mods for weapons but the system is actually a step down from Cold War. I'll start with what I like about this game: the story and multiplayer. So, the multiplayer is basically the same as MW 2019, but cod has done this before. Just look at BO1 and MW2. BO1 completely copied MW2's killstreak system and its gun system. Why people like it is because it expanded upon multiplayer with alternate modes. The point is, even the best cods have taken elements from each other, and MW 2019 is loved by casuals, which is cod's target audience. That is what cod has always been: an arcade shooter for casual gamers. The campaign, while short, delivers a fantastic story with a jaw dropping ending. Seriously, now all the new games are going to be inner connected now that Project Aether is in Vanguard, which means Vanguard is canon to CW and since Zakheav is in CW that means MW 2019 is canon to Vanguard. I have a feeling that all the cod games are going to follow suit and become sequels and prequels to each other rather than just in their own separate universes. Okay, now that the good is done, let's move onto why this game is a 7: zombies. Vanguard Zombies is so terrible, so bad, that I would rather play through all of Ghosts' campaign than play another second of that.… Expand

    This is not a triple A project. I bought it for the sake of a network company and a zombie mode. There is absolutely no content in zombies. 3 tasks and 3 zombies for the whole game. In a network game, they do not show on the map where the battle is going on. Taking a perk for this is nonsense. All weapons are like shooting sticks. The sound environment is disgusting

    The multiplayer is a bad version of MW2019. 2/10

    The zombies takes all the worst aspects of BOCW zombies and outbreak and somehow makes them even worse. 1/10

    The campaign is actually pretty decent, but because it’s single player and played the least out of all the modes it has very little effect on the final rating. 7/10

    Can't believe i'm even saying this about Call of Duty, but this game i seriously fun. It's nothing extremely new or groundbreaking, but it still managed to be way better than my expectations. Marketing was absolute trash for this game, so i wasn't even waiting for it, but i wanted to pass time until GTA Trilogy comes out, so i bought it and it's good.

    Really solid CoD, possibly my third favorite after Modern Warfare (2007) and Modern Warfare 2 (2009). Good 4-6 hour story (depends if you take your time or just rush), fun multiplayer that has some spawning issues that need to be fixed.

First night playing , and at 10:30pm EST we all get booted because they decided to update the servers mid game. On top of it this game looks and feels un-finished and should have been delayed !! Operator's are all junk compared to previous game. On top of it they added operator level up.. should have just left it with challenges !!! Where's OUTBREAK and BASE ROUND Map ???!!! 7500$ for first pack a punch ??!! No wall weapon's, can't update weapon rarety , no wonder weapon's, yet but I see no potential for the zombie mode. Get rid of the covenant junk. Only 3 missions in zombie's ?! Only 3 different kind of zombies.. ohh man I've never wanted a refund soo bad after purchasing a COD game. Biggest disappointment in history for me. I'll just keep playing Cold War zombies.… Expand

    Call of Duty Vanguard is my favorite Call of Duty in a long time. It has great storytelling, and great characters. I wish it was a little longer, but I did play on the easiest setting. I probably had 5-6 hours of gameplay. I only played the single player campaign.

    I played the PC version with everything maxed out at 4K, and my frame rate remained well above 60fps. I played on a    Call of Duty Vanguard is my favorite Call of Duty in a long time. It has great storytelling, and great characters. I wish it was a little longer, but I did play on the easiest setting. I probably had 5-6 hours of gameplay. I only played the single player campaign.

    I played the PC version with everything maxed out at 4K, and my frame rate remained well above 60fps. I played on a 10700k and RTX 3090. This is a beautiful game with a lot of heart. If you liked the original COD games, you’ll most likely love playing this one.

    Sound is awesome, some of the guns don’t have as much punch as others, but I felt like the sound was well done.

    What a fantastic game. I have completed it in about 7 hours. The campaign is one of the best I have played on ps4 in a very long time.

    One of the best graphics of 2021, idk what battlefield is doing, because they should learn from Vanguard. This is complete product. 16 very good maps, over 30 guns, single player (battlefield doesn't even have that, what a joke), fun multiplayer, very, very, very few bugs.

    This game is supposed to be set in WW2, but is just as unhistorical as it can get. Single-player is even worse than in CoD:WW2. Multi-player is ok. Game has a lot of bugs and feels unfinished.

Well, just to give quick reality check, from now on, women will be included in every war themed video game ever. This is the future of video games. So either deal with it or find a new hobby. For a ww2 game this is an insanely awful take on it. Nothing is accurate.

    The zombies is such a large bruh moment that you'll pass out from dissapointment trying to play even 10 minutes of it.

    Overall there is absolutely nothing about this game that drives me to boot this up instead of any other game.     Not a bad game overall. But the story mode is short and really not worth playing through more than once. Zombies is at its worst here, literally no fun to be had with this mode. And while multiplayer has gotten better gameplay and machanic wise, overpowered guns, lag, bad hit detection and poor map design makes it ulmost unplayable. Wait for a steep sale on this one.

Challenges for mp and zombies are incredibly boring to do since they don’t require you to do anything that puts you outside your comfort zone, and finally, and I don’t know if it’s just me but champions hill has the worst spawns I’ve ever seen in an fps game. I enjoy this game for the most part but if your a die hard zombies fan hold off and see if they fix things in a couple months. If you liked 2019 MW then you’ll like the mp and even if you didn’t I still think you should give it a shot. Idk why but this games mp has just been fun.… Expand

    Finally after so many low ratings I can give a solid 9 to a game (which turns into a 10 as here it's only zeroes and tens).
    Graphics, animations, facial expressions, story, gunfight honestly I liked all of it. Very very enjoyable the game, pretty much the only one that feels next-gen so far. Highly recommended to anyone that liked Modern Warfare series.

Instead, your character is tasked with dealing with anti-aircraft cannons before dawn, initially taking a fall from your plane into enemy lines. The mission is excellently paced. As for the campaign as a whole, it expertly tackles the issues it presents.

    The multiplayer is innovative upon the base of Modern Warfare. The destructive environments, although seeming somewhat gimmicky at first, add new variety to each map in the game, demonstrated best on Decoy featuring with plenty of large destructible walls to move, shoot and throw equipment through. The weapons are as visceral as they were in MW, with the return of the amazing animations and sounds featured previously. The game is well balanced; this is lent to the new and improved gunsmith system now letting the player include 10 attachments on their weapon at once at all times. Any gun can be what you want it to be, but they all have their different strengths and weaknesses. For example I turned the Automaton, which is a rather weak gun compared to the initially unlocked StG 44, into a long range beast without even using the gun for long. Plenty of the weapons are also not common to be seen in the WW2 games, which is great that new and unique weapons that we haven't had our hands on that often are being included now. Operators now have their own individual levels, with skins and items to unlock along the way with additional bonuses for using their favourite weapons: this is a brilliant addition to the regular levelling of COD. The return of skill based matchmaking certainly does make the game less fun for moments, but it doesn't impede too heavily.

    The zombies mode is a brand new fun experience, although it avoids its round-based roots and instead going for a more beginner friendly Outbreak style experience, although on a smaller scale. As well as including many features from Cold War such as field upgrades, now taking the form of your own dark aether entity, upgradable perks make a return, now being upgraded within the game and not permanently which adjusts progression as not a feat of your perks, but your own personal growth as a player slowly improving at the game. A new feature are covenants, which are additional skills your player obtains by getting hearts from objectives, with different effects. You can have 3 at once and they can be upgraded, these are very welcome to the game in addition to perks. Although missing round based maps entirely and the charm of older Zombies modes due to the operator system again, the mode is very enjoyable on its own. There is no main quest on launch until Season 1, or maybe even Season 1 Reloaded. This is very disappointing, as they are a main part of zombies and have been for years, it's baffling that it isn't featured. This should've been a side mode in S1R, really instead of the main mode.

    I have so far enjoyed my time with Vanguard and this may be SHG's best COD title yet, improving upon their previous failures by taking into account what made people enjoy games like Modern Warfare 2019 so much. The lack of round based zombies is disappointing, although where it innovates in its brand new features, and entirely new take on zombies is good, but where the game lacks right now could be improved as the game goes on.    … Expand

    Zombies - seems rushed and simplified.

    As a student of history, particularly the World Wars, im pretty saddened and sickened by this game's
    handling, never seen so much agenda driven nonsense in a video game. Clearly the demographic isnt someone whos been playing COD for 15+ years with a passion for historical conflicts.

What they have is solid but it's super half-baked and feels wrong given that there is no round based. The balancing, especially with new special enemies, is horrific as maxed automatic guns end up useless by wave 15. Overall, if you like MP and a solid campaign recommend this game. If you want a good zombies experience, wait for a free weekend or play the old games you're not missing much.… Expand

Puedo opinar con criterio muy objetivo que este CoD Vanguard es de lo mejor que han sacado en AÑOS. Cabe destacar que mi opinión se enfoca al multijugador, pues pienso que es un error enfocarnos al modo historia, pues hegemónicamente (por desgracia), entendemos el CoD como un juego multijugador, por lo que en este caso pienso que debería enfocarse la opinión en este apartado.
    Puntos favorables:
    + Gráficos. Muy buenos, algo que se esperaba pues utilizan el motor gráfico del último Modern Warfare. Cabe destacar que a día de hoy que escribo la reseña, el juego tiene algunos bugs gráficos, pero es normal, pues hace 3 días que ha salido.
    + Jugabilidad. Armas muy balanceadas, se nota que se han esmerado en este tema, también en el tema de movimiento del personaje ha mejorado mucho, es muy fluido y dinámico.
    + Armas: El retroceso de las armas y la sensación de disparo son especialmente satisfactorios. Aparte, se nota que han autorizado licencias, el 90% de las armas tienen el diseño y el nombre original del arma en cuestión, se agradece, pues genera mayor inmersión.
    + Sonido. Espectacular, de lo mejor, jamás visto en un CoD nunca.
    También han quitado el punto rojo del enemigo en el minimapa cuando este dispara, a no ser que selecciones una habilidad especifica para el personaje para ello. Esto es perfecto, siempre se ha pedido, de este modo se le da más importancia al sonido.
    + Escenarios / Arte: Mapas muy variados, de todo tipo y con unos entornos muy acordes a la época en que se narra el juego, muy bonito todo, mucho trabajo detrás del apartado artístico.

    The zombies mode is a bare bones version compared to other treyarch versions of zombies. There are no round based maps, no easter egg, no pack a punch weapon camos and the list goes on. There are 3 objectives to do in the map which gets repetitive after doing for an hour. There is no replayability in the game besides levelling up your guns, getting levels or going for high rounds.     I have played MW, ColdWar and now Vanguard. Personally, I wasn't a big fan of Coldwar because the mutiplayer was unplayable for me. SBMM was too strong. I've been playing for 15 hours now and the game is good. The engine is smooth, the graphics are good, and the overall gameplay is good. The opposing team is mixed with good but also bad players, feels like mw2.

    They turned zombies into a Satanic witchcraft game by making covenant with 4 demons and drink there blood for perks... not cool I would never got the game if I knew

    The game is a complete flop. The worst zombie experience ever. It is unfinished, we paid for a beta. Dont buy this trash.

    Call of Duty: Vanguard is a great Call of Duty entry with absolutely stellar ser pieces, fantastic visuals, and plenty of modes surrounding an excellently fun campaign. The only downsides are the muddied stories… not to mention what is happening in the company that published it. Highly recommended for CoD fans and people looking for a bit of mindless fun set in WW2.

    Even though the campaign is extremely predictable and the multiplayer is plagued with tones of issues, Call Of Duty: Vanguard is, after all, still a Call of Duty title, and will appeal to all hardcore Call of Duty fans.
