    This is good battlefield, but I am speaking only about "rush" mode. For me, battlefield was all about analysing the battlefield. It is important how you move, how you analise situation, how you use gadgets and interact with squad. In this battlefield this is the most significant skills.     I understand why people are upset about the game's state at launch. It was filled with bugs and glitches that really made the game a lot less fun (even though some of the bugs were hilarious).
    But i think that the game has gotten much better since launch. Almost all the bugs and glitches has been removed, there has been added new content to the game and the envoirnmental destructability    I understand why people are upset about the game's state at launch.     And the introduction of classes to the game has really added a whole new layer to the game and it really encourages teamwork.
    Overall i think battlefield 2042 is much better now but sometimes it just doesen't quite feel like battlefield. Sometimes. So don't purchase the game blindly as you might be disappointed alt least if you are a fan of the old BF games, but if you just want some pure multiplayer mayhem i think it is worth it at least if you can grab it on sale cuz 70 bucks can be spent more wiseley.    … Expand

    After several updates, this game is good now. You should give it a try! Graphics are nice, new weapons and characters give more options to player. After playing mw2 for weeks and getting back to battlefield, I can say that I enjoy bf 2042 than mw2.

    after several path releases the game now runs much smoother.
    More content and maps along with the inclusion of Rush mode now bring this up to the version that probably should have been released.
    Well worth a look expecially if you can pick this up at a reduced price

    I cannot believe how people treat this game! It is an absolute masterpiece and there is literally not a single con to this game. I love it, paid full price for it and am deeply grateful with all my heart to developers. Honestly the lowest score it deserves is 8/10 but as long as there are no real competitors to this game as a multiplayer shooter experience it is definitely 10/10 for me.

    Battlefield 2042, despite the horrendous launch that it had, has shaped up to be a perfectly competent and enjoyable experience that I have had the pleasure of sinking many hours into and plan to sink many more into, with updates still happening and planned.     That said, the team behind the game from what I have seen is ignoring user input with unwanted things, and there are pretty bad connection issues I have encountered several times despite a perfectly working network connection. The game is still rough around the edges, but they have certainly improved the game and it has a lot of potential if they do not give up on it. Hope to see more people hop on, and for those who left to hop back on!    … Expand

    Game is getting better by the patch but it’s at a slow rate. We’re put in an endless waiting cycle to wait for the next month with a big patch that hopefully fixes all performance issues. Currently it’s been about 5 months and the game has had no content, and is still glitchy. The overhauled scoreboard is the best scoreboard we’ve gotten in a battlefield game but was 4-5 months to late.Game is getting better by the patch but it’s at a slow rate. Personally I feel that the art team has content lying around, but the game’s development clearly had issues. EA/DICE clearly made the decision to first fix the game and then release content (in summer). As a fan of the franchise I really hope this April’s patch is the one that fixes the major game breaking issues, but I don’t have confidence in that anymore. With content coming this summer I’ll probably start playing when that time comes.

    EDIT: Season 1 launch has been very good, game performs very good on PS5 and bugs are rare. Content was very small but it was high quality, I like playing through the battle pass and the content in that is also very quality stuff (some games have it worse). While the content from the store is quite pricy, they are in my opinion actually very cool (would like to see more army like skins though), I see a lot of people running around with skins from paid bundles so its must be the general perception too.

    I hope that the next season contains at least 2-4 maps, 2 vehicles (preferably jets) and over 4 weapons.    … Expand

    New update and map are great, and so are the flashback conquest maps from older games in the series! Just need to add them to the default rotation!

    I don't care what people say. its one of the best battlefield ever made
    portal mode is awesome. graphic is so cool. its so nostalgic to play bf 3 in portal mode. I think that's a good idea to remove classes and add specialist. one of my problem in bf4 is I cant have stinger and claymore together . but now with removing classes I can have them

    Это лучший Battlefield в который я играл!!! Графика,физика,звук,атмосфера войны на высоте. Не понимаю почему люди занижают оценку этой игре. Я не встретил ни одной проблемы в игре, играю на PS5. Игроков в Battlefield 2042 много, загрузка серверов быстрая. Возможно проблема в том что у людей очень слабый PC и они не могут запустить Battlefield 2042.Это лучший Battlefield в который я играл!!! Графика,физика,звук,атмосфера войны на высоте. Не понимаю почему люди занижают оценку этой игре. Я не встретил ни одной проблемы в игре, играю на PS5.     I’m a long time battlefield fan( sense bad company ) and BF2042 definitely brings back some good fun, I’m giving it a big fat 8. Battlefield 5 was the only battlefield I disliked a lot, this battlefield has been getting a lot of hate(I understand to an extent ). However this is just my opinion. Exited to see what’s to come and the potential it has!

    Solid game After the patches. Brings me back some BF 4 feelings. The specialist system is new compared to the old class system but you get used to it and it is fun

    I dont get why so many people are SO negative about this one. I have played and loved BF since the very first one back in 2002 and every bf had its twist in its own way. Everyone will have one in mind which has the most nostalgic value for them but that doesnt take away that bf2042 is an absolute piece of art on its own.

    I can confidently day: I'm having a blast. Ofcourse there are the    I dont get why so many people are SO negative about this one.     The game is great, I would say just a fantastic atmosphere!)) It has problems, but I think they still have time to fix the mistakes! And of course it's so sad that people underestimate ratings by unreasonable conclusions, at least it's fun in the game!

    the game is good, I liked it very much. but what they say about her is true. I liked all the operatives and the new weapon. Portal mode is also good. if there weren't many bugs. eh

    Well the graphics on the PlayStation 5 are pretty good. to me at the moment there are 127 games on the ps account and this game deserves more than 3.0

    I reviewed my PSN activity last night and have over 1000 hours into Battlefield games in total, starting with BC2, BF3, BF4, BF1, and I played BFV the least of them all and I played every one of those at launch.     2042 is no worse than any other Battlefield at launch, and after getting to about level 25 I have found that it has some unique aspects that really start to shine the more you play and explore with the possibilities. Looking forward to its evolution and improvements. Not sure what to say about the super negative reception other than it hasn't been my experience at all, occasional bugs but nothing crazy -- playing on PS5 with crossplay disabled -- it works great and is awesome. As with most polarized topics these days, there is a loud and vocal minority. I wish them luck and am sorry their experiences haven't been up to their standards, would anything please them though?    … Expand

    Super fun Battlefield game, probably the best FPS in years! Don’t get why it getting review bombed, probably the cod and halo fans! Yes there are some bugs but it’s still been highly enjoyable! Would really give it an 8 as it has bugs but as it’s getting review bombed I will give it a 10

    In my opinion, this is one of the best game relased in the last few months. Just a pair of bugs are the only problems I’ve seen (flying veichkes). This is a really funny game, I’m enjoying it and everyone should too. Portal mode is awesome, there are not too many maps/modes/guns but I’m sure they would add more in the next months/years. For the moment, I’m really enjoying it!

    While the repetition and lack of content cooled my enthusiasm a bit, I am excited to see where DICE can take Battlefield 2042 from here — if current industry trends hold, I’m confident this will be a strong addition to my already-full shooter rotation after a few months of additions and updates.
