    Looks like demo, not a real game: the world around is not interactive, the dialogues are cringe-worthy, and the idea is copied from bioshock.

    There is nothing on the box or in description that specifies that an internet connection is required. To bad for a single player.

    Disc install offline at 38GB. When going to the main menu you are unable to start new game without the download. Ok for those who want digital. I want physical copies.

    I like it. The World building is awesome, texture resolutionis not the best, but how they put everything together makes the game look beautiful. Gunplay and melee feel very good, and the crafting system is well put together. The pacing in the early game and the story/dialogue are lacking in some aspects.

    у игры действительно хороший сеттинг, неплохие миксы на музыку. Сам же геймплей - тотальное говнище. механика боёвок скучна, а сами бои несбалансированы. Также оптимизация игры отвратительна, особенно сравнивая её с недавней ААА игрой "Hogwarts Legacy" или тем же Cyberpunk2077. Настройки графики падают более, чем в двое. менее заметной проблемой является управление. Плазмиды выставленыу игры действительно хороший сеттинг, неплохие миксы на музыку. Сам же геймплей - тотальное говнище. механика боёвок скучна, а сами бои несбалансированы. Также оптимизация игры отвратительна, особенно сравнивая её с недавней ААА игрой "Hogwarts Legacy" или тем же Cyberpunk2077. Настройки графики падают более, чем в двое. менее заметной проблемой является управление. Плазмиды выставлены неудобно, сбор предметов пытались сделать интересным, но он ужасен. Также в игре случались краши раз +- в пол часа, а с такими редкими сейвами это критично. Сюжетная часть тоже оставляет желать лучшего. Главные герои абсолютно непривлекательны. Подача игр через дневники смотрелась терпимой в bioshock, но прошла куча времени и такой способ подачи сюжета смотрится ужасно.     Reading all the negative reviews one thought comes in mind - you definitely can try to teach a pig a couple of words in English, but all you get at the end is “oink-oink-oink”.

    я был искренне поражен что меня, человека который всю жизнь играл в шутеры и мобы зацепила подобная игра. игра полна недостатков и оно понятно. There is nothing superfluous, the worked out dialogs, there are no stupid dialogues and quests as in Fallout 4 in which the dialogs were written as if the students of primary grades .. good mechanics of the game as a sip of fresh air after any already tired run shoot.     5 Years of waiting!!! And I'm very satisfied. Cool atmosphere, good optimisation, nice story. As for me we haven't seen such good games long time ago. The best thing here is that developers made the story as they wanted it to be, without following any "modern rules" and pleasing "different audiences".
    Nice jokes, nice arts, funny dialogs. The story is NOT genius, philosophical, or    5 Years of waiting!!! And I'm very satisfied. Cool atmosphere, good optimisation, nice story.     Я как человек который поиграл в BioShock могу сказать что Atomic heart лучше и поистине офигенная игра. Вот скажите игру кроме The last of us ( не лучший пример приведу но все же ) в которой можно расчленить хорошую проработанную Rtx модельку. Атмосфера ПРОСТО БОМБА!!! !!!!! Боёвка на мой взгляд хорошая но про неё нечего сказать в отличие от оружия.     After almost 6 hours the game leaves me with mixed feelings. If it weren't included in Game Pass I would advise against buying it at full price. I particularly criticize the following points:

The few firearms are actually completely inferior to the ax and therefore useless. If the opponents grab you, you've actually lost, because the time for the quick time buttons is too short.

    The mission design repeats itself constantly. You always do the same stupid tasks to progress. Collect five special items and bring them to a specific location.

    The game does not know whether it wants to be a stealth game or a shooter. You have to constantly turn off cameras to avoid being discovered and overrun by hordes of enemies. If you turn off a camera (which is on every corner), a robot will immediately come and fix it. And since there are so many cameras, at some point you totally lose track. In the end you will be discovered and overrun.

    Conclusion: The world is really great, but the gameplay is unfortunately quite boring and sometimes frustratingly annoying.    … Expand

    I’ve played it for around 6 hours on PS5. There was one glitch but after that it is a smooth experience. I’m glad that mundfish finally released the game as it emerges into anti-utopian atmosphere providing a fresh view on USSR and robots possible future. Main character is bit strange but in a way a funny dummy-soldier. The whole game feels like an entertainment show. For me I don’t feelI’ve played it for around 6 hours on PS5.     I didn't expect much from this game, but I was wrong. The game is absolutely fantastic and buys you from the first scene. Those who lived in 80ths-90ths will understand the charm of the details and design on the maps. That reminds Fallout series a lot but from the Soviet perspective. Absolutely 10 from 10 for the atmosphere and storyline + plus details - all the things like sovietI didn't expect much from this game, but I was wrong. The game is absolutely fantastic and buys you from the first scene. Those who lived in 80ths-90ths will understand the charm of the details and design on the maps. That reminds Fallout series a lot but from the Soviet perspective. Absolutely 10 from 10 for the atmosphere and storyline + plus details - all the things like soviet propaganda, story, and small pieces which will probably will be understandable only to native speakers, in this game look brilliant. The best science fiction in 2023 (IMO) so far. The story is based on the soviet wave where striving for the best life in utopia led to global collapse. People who like science fiction such as Strugatsky Brothers, Isaac Asimov, Ray Bradbury, and Rob Sheckley will appreciate the storyline.
    The gameplay consists of Bishock mechanics, however, you can dodge hard attacks which reminded me of Soulslike games (taking to account that the bosses are pretty hard in there).
    Music and sound are incredible - again it seems to target post soviet native speakers. Music dynamically changes according to the environment, as in Fallout - a lot of Radio playing songs from different soviet and post-Soviet eras.
    As it was shown in the trailers - damage is visible on the mobs when you are attacking them in melee. Weapons and spells felt good :) Almost all the things which were announced by Mundfish are in the game.

    Taking to account my low expectations Atomic heart took mine now. I Hope Mundfish will not stop and will continue to work on this alternative universe like Fallout Series.    … Expand

    Atomic Heart is really awesome game in the setting like Bioshock. So if you like that games, the game will also best fit for you. Really good atmosphere - soundtracks, visual and common aesthetic.

    Sometimes maybe a bit boring, also we waiting path with subs size, FOV settings and other small and bugs which don't broken gameplay for ideal game but anyway it brilliant game in general.

    A breath of fresh air! Great game world, amazing atmosphere, lots of emotions and fun! The game does not care about "fashion trends" - here you will not be forced to love whom, to whom how to address and how to identify. You just break away from reality, as if you are reading a fantastically cool book!

    Awesome game. Two things which impressed me most are great optimization and absolutely fantastic atmosphere. I do agree that game has some questionable gameplay features but as this is the first project of the Mundfish I can close my eyes on them. Fantastic work Mundfish !

    Been overwhelmed and had a lot of expectations for AAA but it is not an AAA title at all. Kinda fun to spend few hours in soviet Utopia hence the gameplay is repeatative and mediocre. Kudos for 2-hour refund policy, thanks Steam!

    As a retrofuturism fan I really wanted to enjoy it, but apart from the style its just meh. Either wait for a discount or get it on GamePass, its not worth the full price.

    A wonderful game in the setting that literally no AAA company has done. There are flaws associated with the open world, but fortunately you can just skip it for the most part by running without paying attention to enemies

    After 2 hours of playing, I realized that this game is what I needed after all these dull games - such as Gotham Knights, the developers very well conveyed the spirit of the USSR in a parallel world where robots fully live side by side with a person, quite an exciting game mechanics , with a combination of different abilities and game mode.     Troppi bug. Mi ne è capitato uno dopo l'ultima patch che non mi fa piu andare avanti perché quando prendo un ascensore nella storia mi sprofonda sotto la mappa. Ho ricaricato il salvataggio più volte ma nnt. Già come gioco in se ha diversi limiti, poi se capitano pure questi bug è grave.

    Nothing special. Like many others are saying the combat feels very bad, the open world isn't really open, there's only like 6 enemy types in the whole game and it's very short for a full priced game.

    The best game in the last 10 years. Thank you very much. I live in France and my neighbors really liked it. I still can’t understand, it really happened?))) Better than BioShock and Fallout combined! 12 out of 10 stars

    when the russians started downgrading psychonauts 2 for lack of russian localization they were wrong, when everyone is downgrading atomic heart for things unrelated to the game they are wrong too.

    I fell in love with the game, when i saw a trailer about a year ago. When i saw the trailer with the Pugacheva's song remix and nice gameplay, resembling BioShock games, i will wait the game release. After the release, I'm saying it's a masterpiece. Nice USSR atmosphere, great use of Soviet and Russian songs, great gameplay and a lot of references dragged into this game for a long time.I fell in love with the game, when i saw a trailer about a year ago.     Good game. Great attention to detail thanks to which the game is very atmospheric and immersive.
    The plot is interesting, I have not yet completed the game, but I can say that the quality is at the level of the AAA project. There is no liberal propaganda that bothers everyone, only Soviet brutalism.

    Another clunky Bioshock knock off that also steals ideas from Last of Us, but fails to deliver immersive gameplay and combat. Alternative look on communism are kinda interesting but that's it. Optimisation could be better, and how we can release without few gamebreaking bugs, right? Overall pretty bland experience, not worth your time and money.

Gunplay feels n1, ihit feedback is super n1. Skills feels impact ful. Rpg system feels well for me with upgrading weapons / skills / perks. I like the storry and hope we get more!

    The game, I really liked it, Visually looks just gorgeous. One of the best games I've played in the last 5 years. The graphics and gameplay are just on top. I bought it on PS5, the optimization is great. minimum bugs. Friends, I recommend it to everyone!

    Game itself is poor copy of Bioshock, but it is half of a problem. Another half is way worse. Now russian learned how to turn their propaganda into video games, this game is filled with anti-ukranian symbolism, and pro-russian propaganda, they even have can of pork mins colored in Ukraine flag colors. This is just horrible.

    The game is amazing! The graphics are super, the atmosphere is incredible. Great soundtrack and very interesting story. The optimization in this game is the best I've seen in the last 2 to 3 years. As of today, almost all post-release games need improvement. Everything in this game is 5+!Do not listen to anyone, feel free to buy. This is Bioshock, only in the Soviet Union!

    This is Sovietpunk! An amazing game with a detailed world and good humor with lots of references. Awesome design and great sound. Very good optimization, which is very rare in recent years. And finally, the gameplay in which you relax and not routine work.

    The game is FUN. There is some bad dialogue, it borrows heavily from other games yeah. But its FUN, and ran well at release. Graphically impressive and again FUN. I don't understand the criticism, but its largely unfounded. Mundfish had an excellent outing and with future patches and updates i can only imagine how much better this game and their studio gets. Definitely recommend.

    Gameplay is very challenging and addictive. Mele and range weapons feel great to use. Guns also sound very meaty.     There are also death screens that are incredibly well done and your death screen is different every time you are killed by different enemy. Animators really did outstanding job (same for upgrade animations)! I just love small details like that. You can really see that developers put effort into making this game amazing to play. Love how you leave marks of damage on enemy robots from melee and range weapons. Decapitation and high lvl of gore is also present in this game that was well done. There are also upgrades in this game that can heavily impact your gameplay once you fully upgrade certain thing. Boss fight are very challenging and satisfying, which I didn't expect in fps game to be honest.

    There is also good amount of puzzles in this game, at start they are simple, but gradually they do become more challenging and interesting. It feels very rewarding once you solve the more challenging ones.

    Game atmosphere is incredible and makes game a very immersive experience. Story will make you wonder and keep you interested from start to finish. Main character and glove voice acting on Russian is great and also adds to immersion. I did also played it on English, at first VA was weak, but it did grow on me. But I do understand people who do not like it, therefore I strongly suggest Russian dub.

    Honestly, for this developers first game ever, this is incredible. I'm blown away. I will keep a close eye on Mundfish studio and their future projects.

    I warmly recommend this game to everyone.

    Huge disappointment. Such things happen if you hire painter to do foreman's job: you get unique facade but absolutely useless conditions for living - the same with playability of this game here.

    Despite being both fussy and clumsy throughout parts of the barely 15 hours the game lasts, Atomic Heart has just enough character and cool sequences to make this a game that might be well worth a closer look.

    Atomic Heart is full of stuff that will absolutely make you love it immediately, but each one of those things comes with a major flaw that ultimately pulls it back from being a great game. It's far from perfect, but will still give you hours of awesome story, world, gameplay and music.
