    AC Valhalla plays way better on PS5 than PS4. Would strongly recommend getting this version, if possible, but PS4 version also has free upgrade.

    I wasn't expecting this game to have two maps, i wasn't expecting it to have so beautiful graphics, i wasn't expecting this game to have so good voice acting, i wasn't expecting this game to have so many secret/hidden locations, i wasn't expecting to enjoy combat as much as i do in this game, i wasn't expecting this game to have so beautiful music, I wasn't expecting any of that, but it'sI wasn't expecting this game to have two maps, i wasn't expecting it to have so beautiful graphics, i wasn't expecting this game to have so good voice acting, i wasn't expecting this game to have so many secret/hidden locations, i wasn't expecting to enjoy combat as much as i do in this game, i wasn't expecting this game to have so beautiful music, I wasn't expecting any of that, but it's all here, better than ever!… Expand

    Assassin's Creed games is basically closest we will ever get to actual time travel. Visiting these old cities and locations is just amazing. Of course it's still fiction, but so is Red Dead Redemption and that's fine. Still close enough.

    Makes me wonder why they even did Odyssey like they did. It clearly didn't work. I'm not saying it was bad game, it had some good stuff too, but overall Valhalla stands out as superior in basically ever way. AC is finally back!

    Out of Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla -Valhalla is easily best one. Bringing back old elements, deleting ones that were never needed. Very enjoyable AC game.

    AC: Valhalla doesn't exactly re-invent the formula, but i think for now it's a good thing.
    They fixed what went wrong with Odyssey and brought back missing elements while making story, characters and world better. With next one they need to do some complete overhaul, but Valhalla is good beginning for next era Assassin's Creed games.

    Ubisoft really did well with this one, been at least 3 years when i actually enjoyed their games. Odyssey was fine, but boring really fast. Valhalla feels like breath of fresh air.

    Boring boring ubisoft! We re playing the same game with different skins every two years. Black flag was the last ac decent game. Valhalla is faraway from ac lore. Eivor is a ruthless conqueror who kills innocent villagers. He doesn't serve the light, he is the darkness itself ght, he is the darkness itself

    Where's all the Professional reviews for PS5 version? This version should get way more attention than PS4 version. It runs 60fps and looks way better! Come on, bring in those reviews please!

    One of the best games i have played this year, seriously. Final Fantasy VII Remake was nice too, but this one has so much content and most of it is good.

Valhalla is very well made game, it just runs better on PS5 than on PS4, that obvious. But as a game, it's very good Assassin's Creed game. In fact it's one of the best open worlds Ubisoft has ever created in any of their games ever. That alone shows that people who are part of gaming at least understand and acknowledge that it is well made video game!

    This is game is best to be played on PC, PS5 or Xbox Series X, but that should be like obvious. Highly recommending this game!

    Whoever dislikes this game is not real Assassin's Creed fan. It's a fact! This game has every element that makes AC game and it's a good one at that. And if someone dislikes it because it has big map not just one city then maybe time travel back to 2010 or something, because 2020 clearly isn't for you. Every game is doing it. Maps are getting bigger. Rockstar does same thing, CdprojectWhoever dislikes this game is not real Assassin's Creed fan. It's a fact! This game has every element that makes AC game and it's a good one at that. Maps are getting bigger. Rockstar does same thing, Cdproject does same thing, everyone does it. Odyssey problem wasn't big map, Odyssey problem was too much pointless content and grinding, that's all gone in Valhalla. What's left is interesting and meaninful content and no grinding. Valhalla has two big maps and England has many cities where parkour is possible, very similar to Unity. Overall very good game. Unity was nice, but Black Flag did huge map even before Unity. Valhalla has best of both worlds. Even tho i really like Unity, it got bit boring after a while. That's why i like big maps where you can go somewhere else than city, you are not restricted in that one area.… Expand

    Pretty good, here's some standout things:
    Voice acting, Graphics, World design, Story.
    Fine or Average things: Combat.
    Bad: Some bugs as expected in large open world game.

    Maybe little bit early to review it, because i haven't finished main story, but i like it a lot.
    I hardly had any interest in missions in Odyssey, but Valhalla is different. Might be one of the best games i have played this year, alongside Doom Eternal.

    Combat (to me) feels okay, i have read some youtube comments that "combat is so bad", i strongly disagree. I bet they watched some youtube who told that he didn't like combat and now some people just spread false information. It's not perfect, but far from bad. Would recommend.

    Fantastic game. So much do see and do with hidden stuff and collectables. Graphics are superb so looks real, combat is good and the music is perfect mixture of relaxing and medieval charm. Story is also really good and overall im hooked and loving it

    This is good, i mean it. But Far Cry 6 needs to be something completely new, they can't make another Far Cry 5, NO, because we already have that game. It has to stand out, it has to be different, if it isn't, delay it already! And next wave of Ubisoft games needs to have complete re-invention in 2022-2023. Stuff like Prince of Persia remake with weak animations needs to be gone, forever.This is good, i mean it. But Far Cry 6 needs to be something completely new, they can't make another Far Cry 5, NO, because we already have that game. It has to stand out, it has to be different, if it isn't, delay it already! And next wave of Ubisoft games needs to have complete re-invention in 2022-2023. Valhalla is first good step into the future of Ubisoft, it's really well done game, but now things need to go even further. Really DEEPLY focus on writing, Valhalla is good, go even more deep! Invest more into your products, you have good directors, give them all the freedom the need! I know you can make good stuff, you have done it past, you can do it again, i really believe it.
    I believe in you Ubisoft, because i have really liked some of your games (AC 4 Black Flag, AC Unity (after patches obviously), Far Cry 3 and even some Ghost Recon Games, even Watch Dogs 1 was good, even tho it wasn't perfect. I would hate to see you go down like this. What you did in 2019 is unforgivable, but every company messes up at times, In fact all your games have better writing than Fallout 4 or Fallout 76, not that it's good comparison, but just saying. But you need to take Rockstar as your inspiration and i feel, in a way you already do. That's good! Just focus on quality, fix more bugs before release and just do good games. That's all it takes. I'm so far loving Valhalla and i have high hopes for Far Cry 6 and future of Ubisoft, Please don't let me and all your fans down!    … Expand

    Very good so far. Story is nice enough, way better than Odyssey. Combat is okay, graphics are fantastic.

    An absolute broken mess. I would love this game if not for the staggering amount of game breaking bugs. At first it seems ok, just a little bug here and there but as you progress it gets worse and worse to the point where you simply cannot complete certain tasks. This is not a "fake review" like all the 10/10s say. This game is so buggy its unplayable.

    Overall good game for first 25 hours. Ends up too repetitive and you start to see the flaws within the game. Combat is very flashy but feels clunky af to use. It was designed in a way that makes it look good, sacrificing feeling good. You’ll know what I mean after you’ve played it for 10 or so hours.

    One big positive is the game world looks absolutely beautiful.

    Pretty much Witcher 3 without any of the characters and less side quests but an overwhelmingly massive map where half of the time you are grinding to be able to even survive in certain areas. Oh, and no monsters. Or magic. Or Witchers. Still recommend as I have pretty much all of the ps5 launch titles and this game has somehow hooked me the most. Making this review a 10 since people withPretty much Witcher 3 without any of the characters and less side quests but an overwhelmingly massive map where half of the time you are grinding to be able to even survive in certain areas.     There are two competing experiences here: that as as Assassin, and that as a Viking, that either on its own feels like it might have been a triumph and better than this good but not great Assass-king hybrid we have.

    Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla effortlessly plants its banner as the best open world RPG available for the new consoles. This Viking epic flexes its gore-soaked, tattooed muscles when it comes to world-building, and medieval England wows with its enchanting untamed vistas. It’s also portioned out at a steady pace and, if not for the repetitive, limited combat, Valhalla could have ranked even higher among our favourite games in the series.

    Is Assassin’s Creed Valhalla the best entry in the series yet? Some would be tempted to say so. While the map size might overwhelm some players, it remains an easy game to mainline with the right navigation mode turned on. In fact, the quick load times help to make this an even easier task than in previous generations. This is an iteration of Assassin’s Creed that has a bit of everything from the previous games, as refined as we have seen to date.
