    I swear to god, this is one of the worst games I have played in a while. The main story is a boring mess with forgettable characters and repetitive sequences, all you do is go to a different part of the map and recruit allies by doing the same thing over and over. The side content is non-existent, literally all you do in this pathetic excuse of a video game is ride your horse for milesI swear to god, this is one of the worst games I have played in a while. The side content is non-existent, literally all you do in this pathetic excuse of a video game is ride your horse for miles upon miles to press a triangle to pick up a wealth or do some stupid and uninspiring world event like talking to someone for 10 seconds and then leaving, most of these activities are also broken or glitched. The worst thing is that you need to grind these events to level up before you can go to a higher level area unless you want to get one-shot by the enemies. Talking about glitches, this game has a plethora of bugs and issues that really affected my experience, from minor visual issues to more severe and game breaking bugs. I admit some of them were very funny to experience like flying enemies or me randomly leaving the earth’s orbit but mostly they were annoying as hell. I played as a male Eivor but for some unknown to me reason everyone referred to me as a she and wanted to bang me, not sure if that’s a glitch or the developers couldn’t be bothered to record a few more lines depending on your gender. The world is pretty empty though gorgeous at times. Enemy AI is pretty much broken and I might even say non-existent, too many times I was fighting with a group of enemies and most of them just stand around doing nothing especially archers that seem to glitch all the time. Raiding is boring as hell as all you do is just find a bunch of chests and press the damn triangle to open them, that’s it, that’s the raid done. I liked the Vikings and all the stuff about Norse mythology and the modern day story-line but everything in this game is either bad or mediocre at best. I honestly don’t know why people are praising this empty buggy game. I’m not looking forward to future Ubisoft games if they will release them in this state. I’d give it a 4/10 but seeing how many fanboys are giving this game a 10/10, I’m giving it a fat 0. I understand that you might enjoy this game but it’s objectively boring and repetitive, and definitely not deserving a 10/10 but I guess the vikings made everyone wet their pants. Pathetic… Expand

    What Ubisoft is making with this franchise is shameful, they are destroying the whole series. If you enjoy historical periods, like a nice and immersive narrative, like precise gameplay, is a huge fan of a great story, and love the AC franchise, don't buy this game, you will find only frustration and disappointment, Valhalla has one of worst endings of all time in the games industry. ItWhat Ubisoft is making with this franchise is shameful, they are destroying the whole series. The graphics are pretty yeah, but the levelling system completely lacks substance, the world is bland despite its beauty, and the lack of meaningful side content is abysmal. A lot of cool concepts are introduced, however hardly any are followed up on. Along with this the game is a technical mess plagued by bugs and progression blocking glitches. The combat lacks any impact, even when playing on a higher difficulty. Eivor is somewhat compelling as a protagonist but in the end they feel very bland and lacking in personality. This point is particularly notable as you spend an incredibly bloated 100 hours with them. Within 100 hours, eivor has less personality than Bayek did in the first section of his game. The bird is pretty cool though I guess. I’m a pretty big AC fan usually, as I really love the historical setting (despite its inaccuracies), but this was well and truly a let down. I hope Ubisoft learn from their mistakes and improve upon the new AC formula. Also the micro-transactions are outrageous, selling reskins of gear that was in odyssey and origins, the price of these reskins? Around $15. If you have fun with this game, that’s great, but as a huge rpg fan I cannot recommend this bloated mess of a game. 4/10, I regret purchasing the game and wish I didn’t complete it.… Expand

    I really dont u nderstand this score. This game is 3 steps back against Odysse. There is too much bugs and glitches one per hour. When you fighting you fell like this game has no physic. Heavy enemy flying like paper. There are any foot steps in the dirt. NPC are totaly stupid. See videos about it. If you compare this scrap agains other Owords, then you have to see that this is like badI really dont u nderstand this score. This game is 3 steps back against Odysse.     - Магазин, опять этот %$#@& магазин, который дает тебе сэкомить время на сборах ресурсах - идите нахрен с такой игрой, где full прайс дает тебе возможность играть в AAA по правилам FTP.

    Резюмирую: я больше в жизни не возьму игр от Ubisoft. Для меня это мертвая студия с огромной прибылью, серия Assasin встала в один ряд в моих глазах с FIFA, Call of Duty.    … Expand

    Utterly disappointing. Even after buying it on sale. It's hard to name a good thing really. Graphics are somewhat below average. Odyssey felt better looking to me. I had so many glitches in the first hour I was furious. The story is not engaging. Characters are overall boring. Building your village is a cute feature. But not implemented in an interesting way.

It’s basically traveling to a location, doing a few useless quests for people you barely know & then fighting the main “boss” of that area by raiding him. Over and over for hours! We don’t want a bad Witcher 3 clone every year set in another part of the world...there are literally 2 Assassin’s in this “Assassin’s Creed” game, that’s 2 more than there were in Odyssey but even that aspect of the game is just pointless because all they do is act like a deposit box for a collectible. Don't waste your money! The gear that you unlock throughout the game looks okay but wait until you see what they have for sale in their store page, store gear looks miles better when compared to what you unlock by just playing the game. They clearly put more effort into the store gear than they do on unlockables. The level of greediness, to sell a game for $60-$70 and still manipulate people into buying stuff from your store by putting the best looking gear in there. They built up the AC series just to milk the player-base but hey we saw what happened to the recent COD and BF 2042 games. At this rate, Assassins Creeds fall is inevitable and I can't wait to be there when the sales drop and players decide that they had enough of your bs schemes. This is no longer a fun game, it's a platform to sell micro transactions and expansions.… Expand

    Why I cannot use weapons riding horses? Why some enemies refill their life bar without a reason? Why is the storyline so boring? Why should I fall into water if I'm climbing a mountain? Why???
    Because this game is broken and boring.
    I love the saga, and this is an enormous step back!

    Worst Ac game completely turned me off the franchise... Bright red enemies made stealth unbearable and combat was stiff and repetitive... awful experience.

    For 3 installments. I think AC had nothing to add except making the make more massive and repetitive.
    I failed to see what's new in this game. The story isn't interesting anymore. It just became more massive. And with being massive. I started to get bored after sometime skipping conversations and just want to get through the game.

    As much as I enhoyrd it firstly I hated it to the end, the problem not only, that this game is toooooooooo long, to compleate last region, you need to be much more higher level, than you will be at that momebt and you will die more you could imagine. And there I’ve hoped ubisoft will do it right this time...

I’m playing it on a 4k HDR tv and a brand new ps5 and it looks mediocre at best.     Once again another low point for the series, I hate the departure from the assassins story and gameplay looked like the witcher rather than assassins creed. I just wish for ubisoft to actually put the effort for once and make a good authentic assassins creed game.

    Boring is the first word that comes to mind, there’s no reason a game should be this long and be this boring! Repetitive as hell, and the characters other than the ACTUAL assassins are forgettable. Overall wouldn’t recommend unless you enjoy doing the same thing over and over again with a boring story thats only good at the end.

    The most boring AC game i have ever played (played every one last of them). Eivor has 0 charm, Basiim is interesting but only appears in literally 5 missions. Combat system is worst than Odyssey, the animations are trash and the "parkour" is like C-3P0 climbing a wall. Worst AC high diff

    I haven’t played an Assassin’s game since Black Flag and I have to say I was amazed with how great this game is. It’s a living breathing open world and I could easily lose myself in it for weeks on end. Beautifully detailed and fully realised locations are technically astounding and a great showcase for the PS5. I haven’t set sail outside Norway yet because there is so much to enjoy in theI haven’t played an Assassin’s game since Black Flag and I have to say I was amazed with how great this game is. It’s a living breathing open world and I could easily lose myself in it for weeks on end. Beautifully detailed and fully realised locations are technically astounding and a great showcase for the PS5. I haven’t set sail outside Norway yet because there is so much to enjoy in the local area I don’t want to leave yet. I was surprised this hasn’t got an average in the 90s, but it sounds like it’s been unfairly judged by the number of previous games in the series and the constant need to see improvement. But I can see it from a fresher perspective and it’s a fantastic. The developers should be very proud of their achievement.… Expand

    The WORST AC of all time and I played everyone since the first one. Shoulda called this the searching for explisive barrels hours on end simulator, because thats what the majority of your time spent with this game will be. I'm 30 hrs in and give up, this is not anything closely resembling fun

    - The gameplay is clunky and buggy, and utterly annoying. The camera work is horrible; the targeting (R3) has an awful cursor almost invisible in the mid of the battle, etc...
    - The story starts a bit strong and interesting, but after 10min or so, it simply tumbled into eternal boredom. I'm not kidding when I say that I almost fell asleep playing this game.    … Expand

Oh and yes, the ending: you run as directed and, instead of starting the cutscene, you go through the stairs.     эта часть полная помойка, играл во все части начиная с первой, первая конечно не была с интересным геймплеем но игра сама была как прорыв, потом вышла вторая и я прогуливал школу в свое время, после черного флага и шикарной Юнити(правда разработчики как обычно патчем убили графику, Юбисофт это рак игровой индустрии, зачем резать было если у меня всё шикарно работало?) потом пошла всякаяэта часть полная помойка, играл во все части начиная с первой, первая конечно не была с интересным геймплеем но игра сама была как прорыв, потом вышла вторая и я прогуливал школу в свое время, после черного флага и шикарной Юнити(правда разработчики как обычно патчем убили графику, Юбисофт это рак игровой индустрии, зачем резать было если у меня всё шикарно работало?) потом пошла всякая ориджин одиссея, там от ассасина ничего не осталось но да ладно, конвеер на имени АС, но Вальгалла это совсем уже слишком, игра напоминает на смесь из сессионки из For Honor, паркур уже для галочки ибо это не тот паркур что было на основе Ассасина, графика как по мне не лучше чем было в Юнити, там поработали на отлично… Expand

    Bleh. Nothing in this game feels good to do, it feels lazy and unfun. I know it's not a very in depth comment, but this game is just a waste of everything that went into it.Leave it to AC to make a viking game boring. Pretty impressive to make something this mediocre at everything. Not to mention this is just too bloated and grindy.

    A game so bloated, so repetitive, so devoid of any genuine inspiration that it relies on an endless drip-feed of upgrades, buffs, cosmetics, etc. to keep the player engaged. A broken lighting system, innumerable bugs, and gross historical inaccuracies top off a thoroughly flawed experience. Do not be fooled by the slick marketing for this game.

    Im so sorry, but where is the ASSASSINS in this game... oh its incredeble, i must searching a details like hiden blade and hood in game to understand that it is a assassins creed game... but you know, fcking forests and glades it is not assassins game place, WHERE IS BIG AND HARD CITIES UBISOFT? ohh... anouther great series what dying under stupid developers and theirs bosses

    I get bored with the repetition of similar quests that are work-intensive.
    The action is slow and unexhilarating.
    The map is large, and moving around by boat is tedious.

    I loved the older AC games because of their STEALTH and BEAUTIFUL DESIGN (See Unity or AC2), but this game is just a soulless, repetitive game. It tries so hard to be like other open world RPGS with meaningful choices (See Witcher 3) and tries to copy the combat of (God of War) and loses it's own identity in the process. All stealth    Copy and Paste open world: Broken, Boring and Empty.

    There are two competing experiences here: that as as Assassin, and that as a Viking, that either on its own feels like it might have been a triumph and better than this good but not great Assass-king hybrid we have.

    Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla effortlessly plants its banner as the best open world RPG available for the new consoles. This Viking epic flexes its gore-soaked, tattooed muscles when it comes to world-building, and medieval England wows with its enchanting untamed vistas. It’s also portioned out at a steady pace and, if not for the repetitive, limited combat, Valhalla could have ranked even higher among our favourite games in the series.

    Is Assassin’s Creed Valhalla the best entry in the series yet? Some would be tempted to say so. While the map size might overwhelm some players, it remains an easy game to mainline with the right navigation mode turned on. In fact, the quick load times help to make this an even easier task than in previous generations. This is an iteration of Assassin’s Creed that has a bit of everything from the previous games, as refined as we have seen to date.
