    Juego en PC y la experiencia es PÉSIMA el juego se cierra inesperadamente de forma recurrente y eso que tengo un hardware aceptable (RTX 3070). Lo peor de todo es que incluso en los diálogos de misión se cierre siempre en el mismo punto. UBISOFT NO LO ENTIENDO y eso que ha pasado un tiempo desde el lanzamiento. Me hago a la idea de porque están atravesando malos momentos.     Honestly speaking, if I missed the game I would miss NOTHING. This is one of the most tedious and garbage games I have ever played. There is no good story, and the gameplay is very repetitive. From this game, I enjoyed NOTHING. Total waste of money and valuable time.

    Big empty world with a lot of heights to climb, stuff to collect and grind, and a story that just has no weight. Gameplay is the same as its predecessors , with little innovation. In Chapter 3 they set up a trap unexpectedly where you lose magically all your all the arms (Bug?/ stupid plot)and your are meant to fight or flight. He kills me. Just lost before more than 1 hour of exploring and collecting items in this city. 1 hour as an adult is all I can get average to play during a week. Following this unconsiderate system that does not allow for more freedom, I give the good news 4 out of 5. If there was a better save system it will be 7 out of 10. Enough for me to play. Ed… Expand

    Bleh. Nothing in this game feels good to do, it feels lazy and unfun. I know it's not a very in depth comment, but this game is just a waste of everything that went into it.Leave it to AC to make a viking game boring. Pretty impressive to make something this mediocre at everything. Not to mention this is just too bloated and grindy.

    Boring is the first word that comes to mind, there’s no reason a game should be this long and be this boring! Repetitive as hell, and the characters other than the ACTUAL assassins are forgettable. Overall wouldn’t recommend unless you enjoy doing the same thing over and over again with a boring story thats only good at the end.

    The most boring AC game i have ever played (played every one last of them). Eivor has 0 charm, Basiim is interesting but only appears in literally 5 missions. Combat system is worst than Odyssey, the animations are trash and the "parkour" is like C-3P0 climbing a wall. Worst AC high diff

    I get bored with the repetition of similar quests that are work-intensive.
    The action is slow and unexhilarating.
    The map is large, and moving around by boat is tedious.

    Garbage. I'm convinced half these reviews are bots. They drop you into this game with little backstory or what you're trying to accomplish. The controls are spotty and the combat system is broken. Trying to emulate Dark Souls combat while simultaneously destroying what built your franchise (stealth) is not a good look. Couldn't get more than 10 hours into this travesty.

    The WORST AC of all time and I played everyone since the first one. Shoulda called this the searching for explisive barrels hours on end simulator, because thats what the majority of your time spent with this game will be. I'm 30 hrs in and give up, this is not anything closely resembling fun

    By far the worst of the new 3 Games. The Story is absolutely stretched and doesn bring anything to the Game World. A Bunch of forgettable Characters get introduced. This Game could have been so much more but it seems Ubisoft just didnt want that. Also Stealth in this Game doesnt Work. In Odyssey and Origins it does though? I've played it for a couple of hours for free on PS plus, well no wonder they gave it away for free. As a huge fan of the series I couldn't even play it for free. Ubisoft has not really made a good game since Splinter Cell, but this one takes the cake as the longest, time-wasting, directionless open world they have done. It is also historically inaccurate which is the only thing Assassins Creed 1/2 had going for it, THE HISTORY. Also if you likeThis is one of the worst open world games i have ever played. It’s baffling they made a much better entry with Odyssey on so many levels then made the decision to cut systems that actually worked well like factions and naval combat.

    Ubisoft already did Valhalla but better in Odyssey. If you really want to to play these new iterations of AC games that are now action RPGs, don’t waste your time with Valhalla. Even if you make it through the whole game which you probably won’t due to its bloat and monotonous and tedious game design, you’re rewarded with a one and a half hour cutscene that wraps up the plot (which I have to point out has nothing to do with what you spend most of the game doing).

    I’m normally a very generous gamer, I try to see the game for its intentions first and execution second, in Valhalla I realized at about the halfway point their intention was: let’s make a game that’s bigger than Odyssey but with Vikings. Then they stripped good mechanics away for no reason I can deduce, then they managed to churn out a mind numbingly boring story with what might be one of the laziest and insulting payoffs for the player I’ve ever experienced. Don’t even get me started on the side quests.

    To top all of this off, my biggest critique and ultimately what turned this game from passable to downright failure for me, was the length of the game. The amount of filler and bloat injected into this game is almost insulting. Like yes, we’re in the age of peak capitalism and yes we’re all consumers that want to, well… consume. But Valhalla turns media content consumption into a giant pile of flavorless slop, poured into a trough for us to mind numbingly eat like livestock.

    I felt almost disrespected playing this game. Is this really what you see gamers as Ubisoft? Too stupid to figure out where to go so we’re inundated with a record number of map markers, and too lazy for a challenge so even at harder difficulty and with more challenging level scaling, so everything is way to easy and once again, something becoming a common theme in my play through: boring.

    I don’t know how Ubisoft managed to make the Viking conquest of England set in the AC universe boring, but once again Ubisoft never fails to move the bar in the wrong direction and surprise us in all the wrong ways.    … Expand

    The story is so nothing. I didn't feel invested at all and it isn't engaging. It was very generic and written like a bunch of Americans read a couple of grade school books about vikings and watched too many Marvel movies. The phrases they use and the way they talk sound more like they pray to the Marvel Odin than the Norse Odin. You have all these one off interactions with people like you're supposed to know them and have a rapport but why do I the player care? I just met them and they're supposed to matter? This is just bad storytelling.

    Okay graphics, it's a step back. On PS5 you'd expect more but the snow effects are bad and it looks like I'm a rolling pin through a mountain of cake icing, the rigging and character models look outdated, the Odin object indication lacks definition and there are no settings to fix it. I hear things ping but even gold items barely show up on my OLED screen. The bird mechanic is half useless most of the time until you upgrade their functions.

    Gameplay is pretty awful. Parry just doesn't work right. The button layout is bad but customizing it is like a 20 minute task as you can't just remap a button you have to remap every function and they all seem to collide. I've gotten stuck in a few spots, enemies see me in hiding at times, view distance for enemy archers is insane far and their accuracy is ridiculous. Staggering enemies seems broken and a lot of the battles you just dodge a lot. A lot of missions require you head on fight and with how broken fighting is I feel like I'm playing a bad GoW war clone.

    The sailing is so bad. It's unrealistic but also clunky. I like the auto sail mechanics but sailing seems like an afterthought where they just shoved in black flag mechanics on a tiny boat.

    Navigating and interactions are probably the worst part. Climbing is essential to AC and when it's bad it breaks the game. Want to climb a roof? Well scramble around until you see a prompt come up that says you can climb here then do it because if you guess you're always wrong and you just come out of hiding and get spotted. Go into a window? Better make sure you're at the right angle in the right spot or you just stand there. Climb down a cliff? Crouch then hold crouch otherwise you just stand there. Half the time you're better off just jumping and taking the damage.

    Using a horse is also important. Too bad most of the time when you call it the horse rushes right past you and keeps running. You never even get the chance to get on it like the horse is mocking you. If you're not near enough to a road auto nav doesn't work either you just get a message that says "cannot auto navigate".

    Oh and I saved the worst for last. The sound mixing and music. For the most part either the music in this game doesn't exist or it's mixed terribly. At the very beginning of the game you're at a party with a guy playing music yet you hear no music, just people. Why? The audio either sounds muffled or distorted and I have a nice home theater. The worst is the horrid tin high pitched triangle sound that marks the start of world music and lasts far too long while also being way too high frequency. If you have tinnitus it will trigger it. Then any time you open menus you might get the title song and it goes on for a while. You hear that song when you sync, when you do certain things, at certain mission points, way way too much and what should be a beautiful title theme is an annoying everything theme. In other games it was a minor song that lasted as long as the interaction but this is very loud, very abrupt, the loudest thing in the game by far, and it plays for a few minutes after the event stopped.

    It also sounds like a lot of the audio samples were done in a sound booth or bathroom. Real world sounds you expect in most games just aren't there.

    This game is a chore. For every quest (story was mediocre at best) there is a 40(sic!) collectibles. for the 120h to complete 20 is for a pretty poor storyline, rest is just running around finding keys for chest, or fire barrels for walls. Definitley worst of the last 3 assassins games.
    Dull, boring and repetetive. Dont hurt yourselves and stay away from this bs

This is Viking simulator. And not a good one. Sloppy controls that have you falling everywhere instead of being a stealthy killers. Add to that the lack of a decent story. Forty hours I've wasted on this just toI've tried so hard to like this game but I've come to the conclusion it's just not a good game.     Audio on PS5 version has been recorded with equipment from 80’s. That is so poor quality no matter do you have good hometheather or premium headset. Also, game is half assed on every category. Voice acting is in english, but actors try to fake norwegian accent. Makes me want to puke

    Very disappointed. Graphics are phenomenal, the story is OK too, but the steering is SO BAD - especially when you have just played Ghost of Tsushima - where it feels a lot more dynamic. In AC Valhalla, it is too stiff and feels like a classic game: When you dodge an attack e.g., the character throws himself 4 metres to the side.

    Even Odyssey was miles better to play.

    I played this game during a free weekend and I wanted to like this game, but I had to force myself to play the game for most of the time I played it. I couldn't bring myself to play it long enough to complete the first main settlement takeover, because it was a chore to get through.
    On top of the trash fire that this game has become, it has the gaol to charge full price And has over £200 of microtransactions, it's INSANE that this is the state of triple-A games nowadays.

    Malo, para ser un juego Next-Gen tiene gráficos deficientes, el juego es difícil porque casi no indican los objetivos y uno se queda en el mundo sin saber qué hacer (aunque lo configures para que te de pistas). A diferencia de AC Origins y Odyssey donde los días eran largos y coloridos, en AC Valhalla los días son extremadamente cortos y el juego tiene un color rojizo y oscuro, la historiaMalo, para ser un juego Next-Gen tiene gráficos deficientes, el juego es difícil porque casi no indican los objetivos y uno se queda en el mundo sin saber qué hacer (aunque lo configures para que te de pistas). A diferencia de AC Origins y Odyssey donde los días eran largos y coloridos, en AC Valhalla los días son extremadamente cortos y el juego tiene un color rojizo y oscuro, la historia no engancha, los saqueos fluviales son aburridos.     My first time playing an assassins creed game. I love history and i love viking mythology so i thought i would enjoy this game. It starts good and the game looks great but after getting to the middle of the story viking raids become very repetitive and the story so so boring.     Copy and Paste open world: Broken, Boring and Empty.

    I loved the older AC games because of their STEALTH and BEAUTIFUL DESIGN (See Unity or AC2), but this game is just a soulless, repetitive game. It tries so hard to be like other open world RPGS with meaningful choices (See Witcher 3) and tries to copy the combat of (God of War) and loses it's own identity in the process. All stealth    Copy and Paste open world: Broken, Boring and Empty.

    I loved the older AC games because of their STEALTH and BEAUTIFUL DESIGN (See Unity or AC2), but this game is just a soulless, repetitive game. It tries so hard to be like other open world RPGS with meaningful choices (See Witcher 3) and tries to copy the combat of (God of War) and loses it's own identity in the process. All stealth is out the window, get ready to hack and slash your way through a bland world full of fetch quests in a dark, snowy landscape.

Don't waste your money! The gear that you unlock throughout the game looks okay but wait until you see what they have for sale in their store page, store gear looks miles better when compared to what you unlock by just playing the game. They clearly put more effort into the store gear than they do on unlockables. The level of greediness, to sell a game for $60-$70 and still manipulate people into buying stuff from your store by putting the best looking gear in there. They built up the AC series just to milk the player-base but hey we saw what happened to the recent COD and BF 2042 games. At this rate, Assassins Creeds fall is inevitable and I can't wait to be there when the sales drop and players decide that they had enough of your bs schemes.     But if I'm to judge this on its own it looks fantastic and the story isn't half bad. The combat isn't great and the leveling up systems are terrible. Certain areas require you to be at a power of 90 when you could only be at a power of maybe 25 if you were only doing story missions. The game requires you to go around doing random repetitive tasks to move through the game. That's crap.

    This game requires you to loose your mind doing repetitive crap or for you to be crazy enough to pay for an XP boost on top of your 80 euro game. Seriously!

    I think the AC franchise is done. I'm done with it. I'm giving this a four. Some will love it but I'm bothered by it. Damn micro transactions.    … Expand

    Bland and far too drawn out game. Boring gameplay loop, story was okay but got sidelined by the awful errand-boy main plot and the DLCs are the worst ones in the franchise so far. The only game I ever experienced fatigue in. Would not recommend.

    I failed to see what's new in this game. The story isn't interesting anymore. It just became more massive. And with being massive. I started to get bored after sometime skipping conversations and just want to get through the game.

    Created an account just for this. It's a year later, the game has had massive updates, but still has the exact same game breaking bugs from launch and no workarounds. More armor as microtransactions than actually exist in the game, and the worst support I've ever dealt with. The whole thing should be burned down

Origins and Odyssey had bad parkour, some of the worst in the entire franchise, and Valhalla does not improve on their already low starting point in origins in the parkour standard. Even the combat is lackluster, in origins you had great combat since the environment and presentation was so good, along with the bar system. Odyssey had even better combat as it introduced these crazy abilities which spiced things up. Valhalla adds a stamina bar, and that's it. Every single encounter can be cheesed from a range with the exception of 4 off the top of my head. The game goes on for way too long. I cannot recommend this game to anybody.     The sound, still after months after release's still awful. The combat and stealth are the worse we've had on an AC game. The story is god awful, along with the crappy voice acting. It's unfortunately really bad. I love AC series, loved Odyssey, but this one is just trash.
    Don't buy this game, it's not worth. Ubisoft standards are lowering more and more.

Just the "Hidden Ones" pass by to take some talismans and give you the blade and the quest to kill and gather these talismans (not continue with spoilers). Another thing is that idiotic big maps. Same mistake on Odyssey same on Valhalla. The only good thing here are the graphics. The title is big hit only because of the first 3 ac games and because of that the people love the series even if it fails. After that the series starting to take the downfall. From 1 to 10, i give VO and Graphics a 10, Music/Sound an 8 (encounter a glitch) and Open World/Story a BIG ZER0. Why zero? Because they must stop those big maps and if people read some history vikings they will read that vikings never have/had that rage thing today people always mention. Go read Battle of Stamford Bridge to see how they lose from Anglo-Saxons twice that day. Because one strong man hold them in a tiny bridge they think every viking have that rage. In every country and history in the world there is a man with proud and strong will and body. Maybe they must include a DLC in the future, how vikings raid europe and try to conquer Balkans and LOSE to Balkan countries epicly. They take the england story and turn it into viking immigrant story. There is a Scandinavian strong history and culture, and they could create something beautiful and nice from there. First of all I must say that the game doesn't have the feeling of evolution and upgrade of equipment, secondly the sound is terrible because it generates an absurd echo every time you arrive in an inhabited place or a village, on the other hand the woods in the most of the time they have a sepulchral sound there is no birdsong or even vegetation noises thirdly the saturation of items to explore, Ubisoft has not yet learned to take stock in its games, everything is in excess, the mysteries, the collectibles , there comes a time when you fell into boredom, but in my case I like to leave the map clean due to a kind of OCD, however the saturation discouraged me, fourthly the outcome of the narrative is a total fiasco, the bugs hindered me to acquire the trophies, there is no immersive story, there are undetermined conquests of territories and in many cases the cinematics is the same to start a final attack on the enemy fortress, there aren't even 'killers' in the game, because the q that appear are actually the incarnation of the god Loki (Basim) and an apprentice break foot (Haytham) who at the beginning of the game already takes a knockout and it's up to you viking warrior to save the same. It took me a while to understand that the protagonist is a kind of Odin incarnation and the alleged killer is also Loki's incarnation. As an AC fan I must say that this game is the worst in the saga in my opinion. After 136 hrs of game I couldn't platinum it due to bugs, (the giant fair that has to force me to baptize myself in the mystery near Winchester just didn't fight me, did it find out I'm agnostic?) there is no conclusion of the story, very shallow in my view. In the end I felt Berserker's anger at Ubisoft. I'm also a big fan of Norse mythology and history, but this game didn't live up to my expectations.… Expand

Em primeiro lugar devo dizer que o game não passa a sensação de evolução e upgrade dos equipamentos, em segundo lugar o som é péssimo pois gera um eco absurdo toda vez que vc chega em um local habitado ou um vilarejo, por outro lado os bosques na maioria das vezes possuem um som sepulcral não há canto dos pássaros ou sequer barulhos da vegetação em terceiro lugar a saturação de itens para explorar, a Ubisoft ainda não aprendeu a fazer um balanço em seus jogos, tudo é em excesso, os mistérios, os colecionáveis, chega um momento em que vc cai no tédio, porém no meu caso gosto de deixar o mapa limpo devido a uma espécie de TOC, entretanto a saturação me desanimou, em quarto lugar o desfecho da narrativa é um fiasco total, os bugs me atrapalharam para adquirir os troféus, não há uma história imersiva o que há, são conquistas indeterminadas de territórios e em muitos casos a cinemática é a mesma para iniciar um ataque final a fortaleza inimiga, não há sequer 'assassinos' no game, pois os que aparecem são na verdade encarnação do deus Loki (Basim) e um aprendiz pé de break (Haytham) que logo no inicio do game ja toma um knockout cabendo a vc guerreiro viking salva o mesmo. Demorou para eu entender que o protagonista é uma espécie de encarnação de Odin e o suposto assassino tbm é encarnação de Loki. Como fã de AC devo dizer que este game é o pior da saga em minha opinião. Depois de 136 hrs de game não consegui platina-lo devido a bugs, ( a feira gigante que tem que me obrigar a me batizar no mistério próximo a Winchester simplesmente não lutou comigo, será que ela descobriu que sou agnóstico?) não houver uma conclusão da história, muito rasa ao meu ver. The sound of footfalls through snowThe audio on this game is woeful. It’s so bad that any time I try to play something will sound so crap it’ll ruin the immersive feeling and I’ll end up searching the net for fixes rather than playing the game. I use a usb dac and a good pair of wired headphones, and other recent games have sounded great (Returnal was amazing). For me the audio issues makes the game unplayable and a waste of money. The side content is non-existent, literally all you do in this pathetic excuse of a video game is ride your horse for miles upon miles to press a triangle to pick up a wealth or do some stupid and uninspiring world event like talking to someone for 10 seconds and then leaving, most of these activities are also broken or glitched. The worst thing is that you need to grind these events to level up before you can go to a higher level area unless you want to get one-shot by the enemies. Talking about glitches, this game has a plethora of bugs and issues that really affected my experience, from minor visual issues to more severe and game breaking bugs. I admit some of them were very funny to experience like flying enemies or me randomly leaving the earth’s orbit but mostly they were annoying as hell. I played as a male Eivor but for some unknown to me reason everyone referred to me as a she and wanted to bang me, not sure if that’s a glitch or the developers couldn’t be bothered to record a few more lines depending on your gender. The world is pretty empty though gorgeous at times. Enemy AI is pretty much broken and I might even say non-existent, too many times I was fighting with a group of enemies and most of them just stand around doing nothing especially archers that seem to glitch all the time. Raiding is boring as hell as all you do is just find a bunch of chests and press the damn triangle to open them, that’s it, that’s the raid done. I liked the Vikings and all the stuff about Norse mythology and the modern day story-line but everything in this game is either bad or mediocre at best. I honestly don’t know why people are praising this empty buggy game. I’m not looking forward to future Ubisoft games if they will release them in this state. I’d give it a 4/10 but seeing how many fanboys are giving this game a 10/10, I’m giving it a fat 0. I understand that you might enjoy this game but it’s objectively boring and repetitive, and definitely not deserving a 10/10 but I guess the vikings made everyone wet their pants. Pathetic… Expand

A lot of cool concepts are introduced, however hardly any are followed up on. Along with this the game is a technical mess plagued by bugs and progression blocking glitches. The combat lacks any impact, even when playing on a higher difficulty. Eivor is somewhat compelling as a protagonist but in the end they feel very bland and lacking in personality. This point is particularly notable as you spend an incredibly bloated 100 hours with them. Within 100 hours, eivor has less personality than Bayek did in the first section of his game. The bird is pretty cool though I guess. I’m a pretty big AC fan usually, as I really love the historical setting (despite its inaccuracies), but this was well and truly a let down. I hope Ubisoft learn from their mistakes and improve upon the new AC formula. Also the micro-transactions are outrageous, selling reskins of gear that was in odyssey and origins, the price of these reskins? Around $15. If you have fun with this game, that’s great, but as a huge rpg fan I cannot recommend this bloated mess of a game. 4/10, I regret purchasing the game and wish I didn’t complete it.… Expand

Only to find a weak and rushed version of its previous game. A great story line and setting... but the amount of glitches and flaws in the game... both on the PS4 and then the migrated continuation on the PS5. Combat is the one thing that i hate the most, it takes about 30 hits to kill one enemy, all you do is spam R1 and click square once every 10 hits, it's very unsatisfying and becomes boring after a few raids. The Raids... Raids are a train wreck, you run around spamming R1 next to every enemy around, there's not much threat really, well besides the broken fire effect. All around the enemy villages there are these stupid vases containing, i have no idea, some kind of explosive that can be triggered by hitting it with an axe. Once it explodes it takes half of your HP, and then puts a fire effect on you, the fire effect is just straight up terrible, it kills you in about 2 seconds and there is nothing you can do about it, you have to use your rations to survive it. The problem is, that the whole enemy village is burning, so once you use up your rations, you'll probably die by the next stupid explosive vase, or by burning to death trying to climb a building, you know, like Assassin's should. But of course, these aren't Assassin's Creed games anymore, Ubi just uses the name to get more more sales, the games itself have absolutely no connection to the story of Assassin's, besides Eivor having a 'hidden' blade of course, which i have no idea why would Assassin's give the blade to some random viking.
    That's about it, i'm incredibly disappointed, considering Assassin's Creed was once one of my favorite game series.    … Expand

    Story is boring and lackluster this isn't Assassins Creed they're just using the name for clout, the Graphics and Textures leave much to be desired with grass not loading in and the textures on animals also not appearing and they just look like brown blobs. Also fps is definitely now above 30

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. After completing everything, found a bug with the settlement for a completed progress bar but stuck at 5/6. After doing what Ubisoft recommended and uninstalled and reinstalled. All my data is corrupted and now 128H has to be RESTARTED for one minor issue. That doesn't make sense. Be warned if your progress bar is stuck don't listen to ubisoft and uninstall just keep playing and MAYBE UBISOFT ACTUALLY FIX THINGS INSTEAD OF ADDING MICRO TRANSACTIONS!… Expand

    Once again another low point for the series, I hate the departure from the assassins story and gameplay looked like the witcher rather than assassins creed. I just wish for ubisoft to actually put the effort for once and make a good authentic assassins creed game.

Valhalla's map may be slightly smaller than Odyssey's, but Ubisoft still seem intent on stretching their content as thin as it will go. Valhalla doesn't veer from Ubi's open world formula, which involves littering the mapAfter completing the previous AC entry - Odyssey, I was hoping Ubisoft would trim off a lot of the filler content and focus in on what makes an AC game worth playing. Valhalla's map may be slightly smaller than Odyssey's, but Ubisoft still seem intent on stretching their content as thin as it will go. Valhalla doesn't veer from Ubi's open world formula, which involves littering the map with busywork. At least Odyssey's loot was interesting - in Valhalla it's mostly reduced to a ingots, 'supplies' and 'raw materials' - hardly an exciting reward for completing a raid.

    Valhalla structures its story into chapters set in various English counties. For me this brings with it an issue with the characters - not only is the main character pretty dull, but the supporting characters are never around long enough to be fleshed out to the point of being interesting or likeable. The story is stretched out over so many hours that it lacks any kind of momentum, but it boils down to this - the good guy Vikings want to take over England because we're told the Saxons are bad. This includes any settlement you can raid, which involves slaughtering hapless guards minding their own business. But it's worth it to collect yet another iron ingot...

    The game beings to take an interesting turn by transporting you to the realm of Asgard, although this quickly becomes just another area crammed with icons and pointless collectibles.

    The gameplay follows Odyssey with light and heavy attacks, God of War-style abilities with cool-downs mapped to face buttons, and the use of Witcher senses to investigate crime scenes and follow trails etc. Some set pieces and large scale battles can be enjoyable, but really there's no point in taking on the endlessly spawning enemies, and instead you're better off just running to the next objective.

    I never thought this would be the case, but I think I enjoyed Odyssey more, as at least it had stunning locations, Greek myths and interesting loot. Valhalla is the last AC I'll buy.    … Expand

    Why I cannot use weapons riding horses? Why some enemies refill their life bar without a reason? Why is the storyline so boring? Why should I fall into water if I'm climbing a mountain? Why???
    Because this game is broken and boring.
    I love the saga, and this is an enormous step back!

    There are two competing experiences here: that as as Assassin, and that as a Viking, that either on its own feels like it might have been a triumph and better than this good but not great Assass-king hybrid we have.

    Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla effortlessly plants its banner as the best open world RPG available for the new consoles. This Viking epic flexes its gore-soaked, tattooed muscles when it comes to world-building, and medieval England wows with its enchanting untamed vistas. It’s also portioned out at a steady pace and, if not for the repetitive, limited combat, Valhalla could have ranked even higher among our favourite games in the series.

    Is Assassin’s Creed Valhalla the best entry in the series yet? Some would be tempted to say so. While the map size might overwhelm some players, it remains an easy game to mainline with the right navigation mode turned on. In fact, the quick load times help to make this an even easier task than in previous generations. This is an iteration of Assassin’s Creed that has a bit of everything from the previous games, as refined as we have seen to date.
