Zool Redimensioned takes a classic game and makes it so much better. It’s an easy recommendation for platforming fans, even with so many other great games available in the genre. Sure, it carries some baggage from a bygone era where far too many games were trying to be Sonic, but this new release gives some measure of identity to a cult classic. Whether you’re a fan from the old days or simply after a well-designed platformer, Zool Redimensioned is quite literally the student textbook on genre fundamentals.

Zool Redimensioned is a wonderful remaster of a cult classic, with tight platforming and plenty of colourful doodads to collect.

Zool Redimensioned is a short, but fun and vibrant platformer that has a ton of fun themed levels and enemies. The controls are great and the accessibility options make this title work for any player, no matter your skill level.

It retains the original gameplay, builds on them, and balances it all together in a way that makes for a fun and addictive game. I love the colours, shapes, level design and general feel of it. If you enjoy Sonic style classic scrolling platformers, you'll also love this one. A fine game at a very fair price. Full Review »
