Sep 28, 2017An amazing update with so much content it's unbelievable but totally ruined by bugs and glitches and painfully slow loading screens and some of the worst frame rate drops, but when you see 2K then you know trash isn't far away, shame I couldn't give this a 9/10.

Nov 15, 2017Now this is what i call an expansion. This made me replay the game almost completely. You could say its more like XCOM 2 2.0 actually. I did not experience bugs like other players seem to have so i cant take that in account of my review. The new classes are fun and add depth to the game and it helps with the repetitiveness to. I only wish it wasn't so damn expensive.

Feb 5, 2019While the game doesn’t run optimally (some framerate chugging and stutters are quite prevalent, especially in areas with a lot of special effects) the upgraded, enhanced formula that XCOM 2: War of the Chosen offers is absolutely superb. I was fully engaged in this rebellion against humanity’s extraterrestrial overlords, and I’d have no hesitation recommending it to anyone in search of a top-tier tactics experience. And for those, like me, who bounced off of the original XCOM 2? It’s absolutely worth coming back.

Oct 4, 2017Developers worldwide, pay attention: this is how you do DLC. As innovative as it is addictive, XCOM 2: War of the Chosen not only manages to meet expectations... It thoroughly exceeds them.

Sep 22, 2017War of the Chosen overhauls the already fabulous XCOM 2 and turns it into absolutely essential fare. The introduction of the Chosen, the soldier bonding system, and the photobooth mode, are perfect additions in that they amplify the base game’s best qualities. It’s just a shame the shine is dulled ever so slightly by a bunch of needless technical issues.
