Watch Dogs Legion is the third installment in Ubisoft’s hacker open world trilogy. It isn't the best of the three games. This game had a lot of bugs even after patches. It isn't the best of the three games. This game had a lot of bugs even after patches. I played this game in January of 2021 and still had a lot of issues. My game also crashed several times. Some of the bugs I experienced caused me to close my application and start my mission over again. Another bug I came across was cars just blowing up randomly. This happened several times and it killed me once permanently killing one of my operatives.

This game was very repetitive as well. There wasn't any real immersion. I don't even remember my characters' names. And due to that I couldn't really get into the story. All the missions where just take out a group of enemies in a compound stealthy or guns and blazing just to hit a button or hack a little device which is copied and pasted across all the missions. The recruitment missions had no variety at all. I found myself replaying the same recruitment mission several times over again. And the characters I recruited all had similar character models in fact I had two identical characters with the same voice actors. The gun combat also felt really easy even on hard it wasn't really challenging. One feature they don't have in this game that watch dogs 2 had was being able to buy cars. This was one feature I really enjoyed in watch dogs 2 but im disappointed Watch dogs legion doesn't have. Stealth in watch dogs 2 was a lot more fun because the characters didn't feel as brain dead and clueless. I would take down a guy right next to another and he wouldn't even notice.

With there being a lot of bad in this game there are still good things. The melee combat was very fun and believable. I found myself using hand to hand combat more than using guns. They also expanded on the overall hacking. They shortened hacking cool downs on everything. It takes only 10 seconds to recharge quick hacks. Being able to hack vehicles without a cool down where all good changes. They also improved the driving. In watch dogs 2 the driving was very clunky and poor but they improved it in watch dogs legion. The handle break function was very fun to use drifting around the city. They also brought back the little puzzles where you have to move the tiles around to connect a positive energy source. These puzzles occurred a lot more in Watch Dogs Legion and I was glad for that because that was one of the things I enjoyed about Watch Dogs 2.

Overall Watch Dogs Legion was a pretty average experience due to a lot of bugs, boring story and poor character development and a poor example as play as anyone the game ranks out as a 6/10 which is a step down from Watch Dogs 2. If Ubisoft wants to make another watch dogs game they should work on the storytelling, level design and character development.

WD2 was really good and quite underrated. The characters were fun, the story was good and relatable (distrust of big tech), setting was great, missions were fun (epically stealth) and the AI was HILARIOUS. The characters & story both are bland, uninspiring, unattractive and unrelatable. I simply didn't care about any of these people nor their story. The AI lost what made them hilarious in 2. Their response to havoc around them was as boring and uninspiring as the rest of the game. This game had a great concept, but truly awful writing and casting. A completely forgettable experience from the franchise that created T-Bone, Aiden & Marcus. Sad. Expand

A história inicial é ok e a gameplay é repetitiva.

The character graphics seem very 2016-17 esc, while yes its still good looking compared to games like GTA 5, which came out in 2013 seems very outdated. Great game. Really reminds me of watch dogs, the story is a bit lackluster and there are a couple of bugs that are persistant but it is day two so they can be patched out soon. The characters aren't amazing, but have personalities. The living world and play as anyone aspect gets more fun and fun the more you play. If you are a watch dogs fan or assassins creed fan, pick this game up.

In a world currently filled with growing tension and political anxiety, Watch Dogs: Legion places itself rather cumbersomely as the awkward satirical uncle everyone knows and loves who’s wedged himself on the end of the family’s dinner table.

The games main mechanic is a operative generator; meaning that in this game there is no single protagonist to topple an ever familiar totalitarian technocracy but rather procedurally generated NPC’s that can be recruited to your cause, each with their own quirks and capabilities. A few examples I stumbled across during my first 6 hours were; a construction worker, who had access to a heavy wrench that was better in melee combat as well as a cargo drone that could be summoned and flow at any given time, a doctor with a gambling addiction, meaning that whilst I could gain access to medical areas I also lost currency periodically in the game and also an old lady who was fantastic at hacking. The generation system doesn’t seem repetitive as of yet, there’s a good mix of perks and downfalls that merge well together to make a varied enough experience that makes you want to seek out those top operative.

The story is kind of mediocre and underwhelming. It’s a plot that’s very transparent, there’s no surprises that you wont see coming. The characters that serve to fill in the story in the place of a missing protagonist come off as generic and plain more often than not. The one exception being your A.I assistant Bagley who provides enough quips and gags to keep the game more light hearted and fun compared to his counterparts.

Watch Dogs: Legion is set in a futuristic London and this is where the game truly shines through. Being British it was a delight to finally see a city that I know and love brought to live in the form of a video game. I spent my first through hours driving through the streets of London with drones overhead, visiting all my favourite tourist hotspots and streets that I’ve known growing up. The attention to detail here is pretty impressive, with many buildings and even similar businesses in the correct places geographically.

Unfortunately as many of us know sometimes its not all about the looks. Whilst aesthetically Ubisoft does a great job at recreating London. I can’t help but feel there’s something missing to tie it all together. It feels kind of dated and bland on some occasions, driving from one area to another with little to no random encounters, like we’ve become accustomed to with the likes of Fallout, Witcher or Red Dead Redemption. The repetition of get mission, go to mission area, interact with console is rife in this title. The saving grace comes from the operator generator that lets you tackle the mission areas in different kinds of ways, but even then I found myself reverting back to the hide’n’hack tactics of its predecessors.

Audio on the game is appealing on a whole. The game has a broad selection of modern and classic music to help fill the air in London. The one place where it lets itself down is the generated voice acting that sometimes messes with tone and pitch a bit to much to come across as genuine.

Overall I think its definitely worth a play if your a follower or fan of the series. It has some replay ability in that you can retry areas with different operatives for a different experience; and there’s a catch’em all vibe with regards to finding and recruiting operatives.

As a huge fan of the first two in the series, I was very disappointed in this game. After the appeal of recruiting anyone wears off after a few hours, you realize this game has no variety in missions and side activities.

The story has no cohesion as their all played in different chapters. Once you get a hitman and a albion uniform recruit the game is easy mode. Af

I'm finding it rather fun on Permadeath, hardmode. I'd really not recommend this game if you are looking for anything other than a sandbox to play around with this whole NPC recruitment sim deal cause much of the game, such as the story, city, objectives, most missions (some are really great) are fairly bland to sometimes bad. However, if you are looking for an Xcom lite in an open worldI'm finding it rather fun on Permadeath, hardmode. I'd really not recommend this game if you are looking for anything other than a sandbox to play around with this whole NPC recruitment sim deal cause much of the game, such as the story, city, objectives, most missions (some are really great) are fairly bland to sometimes bad. However, if you are looking for an Xcom lite in an open world third person and you can ignore most else, using the world and story as reasons to play around in a digital sandbox and want the risk of permadeath to mould the way you play and use all systems available then you'll have great fun but there is one more catch, it takes some progression into the story before Permadeath kicks in and you might be put off early on, I'd say stick with it if you've already bought it.

However, if I could, I would have waited for a sale, It's an Ubisoft game and there is a lot of jank with massive shortfalls in TLC and polish as well as bonkers about of tiny busy work that means **** all more than collectables in any other AAA game.

This isn't a handcrafted game, you can feel the lack of passion and the politics seeping though from the developers is questionable, almost like Antifa made this game (and yes, i know that's the theme but it cuts deeper than that, too much of it it is on the nose and agenda pushy.

I'll give it a 7 but it barely scraps by and that is only because I went in with the sole intent of only focusing on the sim aspect and permadeath while consciously making the decision to play the story while podcasting or watching youtube/netflix. If I was playing this game ignoring permadeath and were looking for a good story, good characters and enjoyable interesting missions that didn't rely on me making my own fun then I couldn't see myself giving it more than a 5. I'll give it a 7 though because they have focused on allowing me to make my own fun in the game and it works really well, It would have benefited them if they had made that clear to all players and pulled back from trying to force the player to play a certain way through the tutorials and endless on screen prompts, HUD elements and so on.

This game could have been something really special had they just went full on immersive sim and dialed back everything else but I suppose they'd loose the casuals, it seems like a corporate decision and they messed up.

    Cons:
    - Very outdated shooting and gunplay. Sure, you can play as a professional hitman like John Wick but the whole thing feels very 2010. After playing The Last of Us 2 and experiencing the shooting mechanics on the Wolfenstein series, Max Payne 3, there's too much of bullet sponge enemies, not enough blood and gore, and not enough animations. The AI is just quite dumb. The stealth takedowns are just not satisfying enough. They are too effortless to achieve. The gunplay is definitely an inferior version of The Division, even though The Division was just average at best.

    - The sounds of the guns barely have any weight in them. Sounds just like they got audio from stock and pasted it to the game. Same goes for punching people as well.

    - A very politically woke game?
    - Barely existing story?
    - 30 FPS on the PS4?
    - The lip sync is just...terrible.
    - Some of the voices totally feels very automated and unnatural.
    - A lot of...ugly looking characters? (But then again, Ubisoft have a lot of terribly looking characters in their games)
    - Missions have barely any variety. Go to one place. Hack something. Use spiderbot. Stun someone. Collect something. Hear some dialogue. Move on.
    - The driving in the game still feels bad. Even in comparison to the GTA series, this game falls in behind. All the cars feels like they are rubberband powered, all the handling is extremely tight, no sense of acceleration as every car reaches their top speed in like 2 seconds. It just doesn't put immersion when you are being chased by Albion. Way too easy to escape and you never feel a sense of urgency.

Overall, once you played the first couple of hours, I would say you've pretty much seen everything and played the whole game already.

    Pros:
    - Seeing London imagined into a modernish/futuristic game is awesome, especially living in England it's refreshing to play in London.
    - Combat is alright, it's fairly easy to work out how to take people out without really worrying about dying.
    - Recruiting anyone...Yeah, it's cool, it's interesting to know I can hire some old far who's nipping out for some coffee and in the next hour have him taking out armed guards in high-security facilities...
    - Story...I don't mind it...I don't love it though. I kind of like the idea of bringing down the dystopian style regime of the private force and freeing London.
    Cons:
    - Recruiting anyone...literally...without any real issue? Some people will literally join the most wanted terrorist group simply because you helped delete some of their files...? I really wish some people just straight up declined, or there was risk that someone would report you for trying to recruit you. Would make recruiting someone based on their opinions, a little better.
    - Movement. it's janky as hell, doesn't really feel all that smooth
    - Crashes. Granted, I'm playing on the Xbox one, but I've had around 20 crashes already. Some of which have been 5 seconds into game loading...it's just not okay?
    - Dialogue. It's cheesy, and cringe. Feels like it's trying to be 'down with the kids' and misses the mark. Some of it is funny. Oh, it doesn't match up with the lip movements of the characters either...
    - Missions are fairly samey and easy. most of it can just be done with the spider bot, and most of it feels the sam. Yes, it's a hacking game, but it's literally 'go here and hack this, then go there and hack that' and boom you're done.

Is it worth £52? Not in my opinion. Personally, I'd wait until there is a sale on and cop this at a much lesser cost.

Since I've played Watch Dogs 1 and 2 I noticed a huge upgrade between the two games, but this doesn't happen here.

I think the idea was nice but I always knew it wasn't gonna work, i mean, no protagonist? Okay, maybe in the future, but not in 2020 in a Ubisoft game. Only the final mission presents something that could work with the no protagonist thing and GTA 5 from 2013 did better.
I wish this was the only problem, but no. The main story follows a Watch Dogs 1 way but much worse. The plot Twist, the team dinamic, the gameplay loop, It's everything so boring and bad writted. Watch Dogs 2 had a gameplay loop just like Legion, but the team dinamic and the dialogues helped.
They tried to inovate, they delayed the game and nothing. Ubisoft made it again.
A not finished mediocre game with a bad character sistem and boring bad written story.

I’d love to give the game a more solid go, as I’m usually not the fussy type. However, it’s hard to enjoy a game that doesn’t save properly. It stops saving after the Reporting for Duty mission. Beyond frustrating.

Well... this is the sole definition of mediocrity. Plenty of bugs... but you know, big open-wold game, so I think bugs are somewhat okay. Buuut the story is shallow, the action is boring, the hacking is dumb and forgettable. It's a buy with a super-deep sale. Other than that, avoid it at full price.

London is good but the storyline is the same type of repeated missions with the same hacks and repeat everything in a circle. The script is big BUT gets boring quickly. The game captures only half and before the end I threw it because the repetition of monotony in the plot **** no up such a game.

It's too bad that they played it too safe with the design and politics, because it could have been one of the more interesting Ubi titles in years. The game isn't particularly innovative outside of the team recruitment, and the visuals are somehow worse than its predecessor on consoles. London--much like SF in WD2--is fun to explore at first, but its shallow nature becomes all too apparent after a few hours. Similar to Odyssey, it can be pretty fun in short bursts with a hit-and-run mercenary approach. The anemic online component can be entertaining, but falls well short of offering anything compelling beyond wreaking havoc with friends (a la GTA, but even more bland and pointless.)

Hopefully, the UbiLegion will stop churning out recycled titles after their long string of solid-but-mediocre games, but after sampling Far Cry 6,the future seems bleak, indeed.

To end, I really liked this game until about halfway through the game.. where the flaws and repetition of this game reared it's ugly head the more you play it... as there just wasn't enough depth to all aspects of this game to really enjoy it all the way through. The story and characters were more than a bit cringe, the gameplay felt too repetitive too quick, and after an enjoyable first few hours it just tuned into a "fast travel here, meet your contact, then fast travel there, carry out same one of 6 or 7 tasks, fast travel back to contact to finish" etc etc ad nauseam.

And the load times were so long I ended up just doing stuff on my own phone while waiting.

Looked pretty enough, game crashed probably 8-10 times but that's not horrifically bad over 30-40 hrs on hardest settng while making sure I completed all missions.

Second-hand prices I got this for are pretty cheap, but for $70 or whatever on release day I'd have felt a bit grumpy.

Watch Dogs Legion's music is a little meh in terms of songs and impact. Also, in Watch Dogs 2 the music app was a very cool choice, you could even make your own playlist and as well as discover new songs around the game world. Here there's really nothing like that at all. The upgrade menu for gadgets and other items just seems dull and like it was an afterthought. there are a few cool upgrades but theres not really a lot there.

Now one of the coolest aspect's of the game is the fact that every character is recruit-able, i think that is a very cool thing. But, its not perfect, some of the voice acting can be a bit dodgy and off putting and i found that i could beat every mission with seemingly just one operative so it kind of broke that illusion of the multiple recruits.

In conclusion, this isn't a terrible game ive definitely had my share of fun and memorable moments. I think its step in the right direction but needs some fine tuning before it can really be great.

Ghost Recon Wildlands.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Tl;dr - the game is missing elements from the original and feels a bit disconnected from the previous titles. Yes there is DedSec but its not the same.

You start in a prologue where DedSec is being set-up by a criminal operation hell-bent on committing terrorism aimed at destroying your reputation. The character you're playing then dies after failing to stop the 3 site explosions you and your established DedSec team tried to foil. The introduction is then played and you're put into a character selection screen. You're not able to customize, but you can pick and choose from a wide range of models. The model you select has been picked by DedSec as a supporter of the cause and you're instantly thrown into becoming a member, without a test you're just simply now DedSec. At least in the 2nd game, Marcus had to perform a high-level test to qualify himself, in this one you're simply 'chosen', and it is accepted that you can just do everything expected of you. Characters all have special traits making their abilities a bit more or less desirable for whoever you take but I chose one of the basic 'European' looking models who didn't give a lot of extra traits and perhaps that is good?

The futuristic version of London is filled with automation, AR, and a society that has become victimized by Albion - the 'bad' guys of private security who have taken over the policing of the city. You're just thrown into the mix as a resistance member who is taking on the 'bad' guys looking to restore the name of Dedsec and overthrow the tyranny of the police state. And I hate it.

Gone is the story. Gone is the story of why. Yes London is under siege as CTOS has ravaged yet another city, and freedom has simply gone away in a formerly free society, but the uprising is a bit bland. There is no story like that of Adien Pierce trying to get his nephew, there is no Marcus trying to make San Franciso realize the evils of emerging technology. Nope, you're just an English bloke or lass trying to restore the name and creditability of an uprising counter-culture movement. And to be honest, the story is horrible 2 hours into the game.

There is no linear character development, it is all team-based. No longer do you have a simple character tree that you can modify to play the way you like to, perhaps developers realized the simplicity of using a drone to do everything, especially with just simply calling in enemy factions in, start a gun battle, then call the police, and let the bad guys kill one another off as you easily walk in and around the dead bodies to achieve your mission was too easy. Now there are 4 kinds of drones, all having different singular unique skills that allow you to approach the 'puzzles'. The spider drone is basically your evolved RC car that seemingly has more range than anything. I was easily able to do most of the first missions with it alone while sitting on the street level hidden behind a bin. The English pound is now ETC a form of cryptocurrency that is only there for clothing, no more car purchases, or 3D printer upgrades. Nope, you just buy clothes. Turn your male character into a drag queen, by endless stupid masks and run around with a gas mask... whatever?! The cryptocurrency is boring and to be honest just a side mission. Especially considering you can jump from person to person and STILL use the SAME clothing you paid for and have access to the SAME wallet as before, this is seemingly a bad concept.

Elements from Assisans Creed make their way into how people interact with buildings. Generic doors open up with an all-black mysterious backdrop that people come out of.... seems a bit corny if you ask me. I don't care if it adds realism, when you're walking by a shop and a random 1-way door opens and a model just emerges, it looks corny as hell. As far as the city modeling goes, it is excellent and to be honest one of the more 'lived in' worlds I have ever played in. The cars often have no one in them, so hi-jacking these AR cars are easy and with no risk. I am guessing the automatically driven cars of the future will work similarly; however, the motorcycles/ mopeds operate manually and have poorer handling than previous games, especially in the city. Drones fly throughout the city and can be commandeered for your use, alternatively, they are able to be summoned for different tasks and needs.

Even with 2+ hours of the game played, I am a bit disappointed at the 'evolution' of the title. I am playing on HARD and the game is easy. Very forgiving and to be honest, at times it tests my skill as a gamer, it is not 'hard'. Even with permadeath on I am able to do a lot of missions without much loss or worries. Some are ultra-easy and I am baffled by the ease of completion - I am not some pro gamer, so it is a bit shocking how easy things are.

This is by far one of the more, bleh versions of the game. WatchDogs_2 was better.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view.

So starting with the multiplayer, it came way to late to the party, I was already done with the game and had little desire to go back to it. But when I did reinstall the game, on 2 systems. mind you, in order to try out the multiplayer. It was a complete and utter let down and that not even warrant talking about further.

To the main campaign then. I have never in any game experienced such awfull voice acting. It became a running joke in the end and it completely ruined the campaign. Don't get me wrong, for a good 10 hours or so of the game I was enjoying myself at least, putting up with the bugs and constant crashing. Being a completionist, I did try for platinum, so it wasn't so bad I couldn't get to the end, there was a lot of good foundation there. However the platinum trophy was thwarted very near the last few trophies due to a game breaking bug and what was good, was let down by an uninterresting story and mundane generic missions with characters who drew no empthaty or attachment.

5 / 10 may be somewhat harsh. but when contrasted with the excellent watchdogs 2 , the gap between the 2 is truly that big. This game feels and plays like a generic ubisoft shooter, rather then something new. Thats enough to put me off the franchise.

Luckily, main gameplay, shooting, driving, hacking, close combat, works well. And I have not encountered any major glitches or game breaking bugs. Which means you can play thru the game at its current state if you want. Although it might be smarter to wait for them to properly patch it up.
Best thing about Legion for me at the mo is the wry, smart humor we learned to love in WD2. And all the British accents! And the interesting stories all over the map.
When I started the game, all the gun, security and riot drones whizzing about the place made it rather chaotic and unfriendly experience. So, the game has a rough start that throws you in at the deep end. But, it only took few hours to acquire the skills to deal with them dangerous drones (trying to avoid spoilers here!). And it was at that point the game started rocking.
At the mo, I can only give the game 7/10 due to the roughness of it all. But once Ubi polishes it all up, it will be worth 8/10, easy. A good, solid game, worth playing for sure.
Added later; I had to drop the score to 6, due to two factors: 1. The missions become painfully repetitive further you play thru the story and...
    2. London in Legion is boring. The city lacks anything interesting to see. The historic buildings are there, but apart from them, the city is very drab and dull and devoid of detail, and does not represent or resemble real London in any way. Its like they just copied the historic buildings from Syndicate, then built the rest of the city around them in a week. Far cry from WD2's lively city. And far cry from Syndicate's London too, come to think of it.
And while they've released two more updates, they do not really do anything of note to the game's issues...
Final verdict after competion: The best part of the game has been the recruitment. I managed to find some really interesting and likable characters from the streets of London, and have become very fond of them, as they all have their own personality. (the recruits I gained from missions weren't nearly as interesting, tho)
-sadly, the rest of the game is best forgotten, so, 6/10 it remains. I'll keep the game, tho, just to see if it looks and sound any better on PS5...

The graphics- I don't see much diference from WD2.

The vibe of the game- The series seem to be getting an avengers vibe to it, WD and WD2 tried to get has close to reality but implementing some non-sense that was fun, here you see some twisted distopia that makes you feel like you are on sci-fi game (drones that follow you, militias, eletric guns, bad AI), also i prefered the over all feel of WD2 world, the npcs and lociations where more fun.

The gameplay- Driving was weird to get used to, but after 5 or 10 minutes You get used to drinving on the other side of the road, cars and AI are the same, combat is the same, oponents seem to be bullet sponges even with an head shot.

Punching someone is weird, on the second game we had a cool meele weapon, now we have to figth basicaly mashing the buttons of the controler, i say its boring to say the least.

The main problem that i find in this, is the recruitment mission, at 1st i thougth that it would be bad, oh boy was i wrong, it's awfull at least, the "Play has anyone" seem to be fun, but its not fun when you want to recruit someone and you die because your guns are weak, and 3 cars of enymies spawn, and you die. The missions i foud followed this path Go to XX location, Get XX thing, Go find the recruit, Enymies spawn and you die. Now that recruit hates DeadSEC.

I had high hopes for the game, no i just want to finish it has fast has possible so i can play a new round of WatchDogs 2.

Buy it when people start selling it at a low price

Update: finished the game, there is still a lot of bugs,NPC's that spawn in front of you, or are invisible, missions that don't move foward because dialogue dosen't play.

The story: Characters are not interesting, since the play has anyone makes it dificult, i'd rather have a main character and that's all, the villan (zero-day) is a clichê, you can pin point who is the hacker without much effort.

Has i said, i'd rather play WD2, story is better, map is better, combat is way more funnier

    this game is alright.
honestly this game is entirely unremarkable aside from the recruit anyone thing, however scanning over a lot of people you'll find more than a few lookalikes and lots of people with the same perk sets which is a shame because it defeats the point of the system if you ask me.

the depiction of London is also pretty good with all manner of landmarks as well as interesting visuals

    The graphics are fine.

London is the star of the show, very detailed and beautiful

Playing as NPCs is fun and brings character and life into the world

    The driving mechanics are OK

Better than WD2 on many levels

    The gunplay is pretty satisfying

    Overall

Overall, it's a decent game and an improvement over WD2. The standout qualities are the recruitment mechanic and the city of London. It does have the usual Ubisoft qualities, such as repetition, a feeling of lack of soul, a bad plot with poor writing, dialogue, and characters.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Let’s get the positive out of the way. The game looks absolutely gorgeous. I’ve been working in London for over 6 years and could find my way through it with only minor difficulties due to some small layout changes. It felt amazing to find my workplaces just by roaming the street, as well as the differences. The hacking system is fun, especially zipping about in drones and jumping from camera to camera. I’ve probably spent most of my time on cargo drones, crawling through the sky at leisurely speed.

The use of puzzles is also excellent, even if you start questioning who installs network nodes on the outside of a skyscraper. Unfortunately, the best story of the game Is a side story. Skye Larsen’s arc was extremely creepy and genuinely made me feel for the characters involved.

It’s the only gripping part of the game. Up until then I thought the Clan Kelley quests had a good payoff, but the Skye quest line made them feel far less involved.

The game suffers from tons of repetition. Dialog, recruitment quests, you’re bound to run through everything 5-20 times. For someone living in England, the game presents a very obvious caricature with extreme stereotypes - none of which we needed. Imagine a world in which everyone talks like Dick van Dyke in Marry Poppins, just with a somewhat more authentic (heavy) accent.

Lore items, of which there are quite a few, also missed a trick in world building. In many cases they just exist to drive the point of the main mission home, whereas other games like Horizon expand the game world with them.

None of your decisions have a palpable effect on the world you move in. „Freeing“ a Borough changes next to nothing, major decisions have no effect on world or story whatsoever. Ingame currency and clothing have zero use, but I’m sure they’ll command a premium in the online version.

Getting multiple operatives is, in its essence, awesome. You can recruit every single person in the game, if the repetitive quests don’t bore you to death before that. Unfortunately it’s also next to unnecessary. Some of the abilities, like uniformed access, are only necessary very rarely (usually only once or twice, to warrant their existence). There is a cookie cutter combination - a good hacker with a stealth spider bot on a cargo drone. You can accomplish nearly anything with that combination with very little threat to yourself. Fly over target, drop spiderbot, crawl away and merrily take out whoever comes your way, done. Very few quests bother to push you out of that comfort zone.

For a game that puts so much emphasis on being nonviolent (the main motivation of DedSec is to prove they were not being a terrorist attack with many deaths), being violent (ie outright killing instead of incapacitating) has no downsides.

It’s a shame. In a world that has GTA V, The Witcher 3 and Horizon Zero Dawn, the technically great premise for Watch Dogs Legion results in a game that wallows in its mediocrity. But hey, the graphics are great.

I have spent like 50 hours in this game and have 98% trophy completion and tbh this game is so mundane it makes me want to kill myself once you have finished the main story and the side missions there really isn’t anything to do other then some mini games and drinking.

It's not a good game but it's not horrible. The story didn't feel like anything special mostly due to you playing as random people off the streets. I liked the idea of making your own Dedsec team but I rather they had a group of specific people you could recruit. People with unique abilities, equipment, and personality.
The combat was fine. I enjoyed using CT drones whenever I could.

The combat was fine. I enjoyed using CT drones whenever I could. Besides that I just shoot no stealth. Also I dislike the fact that operatives you weren't playing as were cowards. I got into a fight and all the other guy did was run away. Like. What the hell? You got guns you're a hitman help me! So because of that it feels like you're on your own. No one to help except hacked drones. Now this working alone feeling would be gone if I was playing multiplayer. Which I never tried so I might be wrong.
Speaking of. I never played most of the side quests, post game, legion of the dead, bloodline, or any dlc besides Darcy.
In the end I enjoyed messing with CT drones. But the characters and story weren't special. I mostly beat the game just to have it under my belt.

At first the game caught my attention, the concept of Watchdogs attracts me, but the lack of innovation, the lack of a main character is very lacking, it is interesting to recruit people, but in the end we will only use one character that favors us to enter everywhere and the rest will be forgotten, unfortunately a weak game, far below the previous

Watch Dogs: Legion is far from perfect. It tries to tell a story about resisting oppression via the power of the people, but the concept of making any character in the world a viable choice means that the experience ends up being too broad and vague. I was able to spice things up by bringing my own roleplay to characters and used items that weren’t necessary, but this was my way of compensating for the ways in which Watch Dogs: Legion falls short of what I want from a triple-A adventure.

What you’re left with is a game that delivers a greatlooking futuristic London, and not much of anything else. It suffered a hefty delay, and the series transitioned from Ubisoft Montreal to Ubisoft Toronto. Something has been lost here, and we can’t help but feel that the commitment to making any character playable is the core issue. That’s been made possible, but just because Ubisoft could, that didn’t mean the developer should have. [Issue#182, p.147]

Watch Dogs: Legion is undoubtedly the best of the series, the one that is closest to bringing the experience promised by that trailer of the first game. Hacks are useful and the lack of a fixed character ends up making DedSec the true protagonist and, since we recruit, control and manage the operators, in the end we end up feeling part of the resistance.
