    Okay this is next level comedy. Account that is part of last of us 2 downvoting (botting) accuses Ubisoft that they bot positive reviews? Like are you actually serious and think nobody understands that you are THE actual fake account? Just reading most of these zero reviews all there is just bunch of lies from people who haven't even tried this game and just wanna downvote every new gameOkay this is next level comedy. Because apparently in 2020 you can't like anything. Just lol. No about the game, i absolutely love it. It's nothing incredible, gta v is miles better, but i wasn't expecting that either. I was expecting hacking game and i got it. London was already nice location in Assassin's Creed Syndicate and it works here as well.… Expand

    Beautiful open world game to have fun with. Haven't had any major bugs or problems personally (7 hours in). Not every game needs to be earth-shattering to be good.

    It's fine enough watch_dogs game. I would only recommend it, if you actually really liked first game, because in dlc first game's main character come back as playable character. Until that happens, there's enough fun to be had with npc recruitment.

    More of this and less of whatever watch dogs 2 was supposed to be. This one is already huge improvement, can't wait what they do with watch dogs 4. Please another European city. Anything but USA at this point. Usa has been done so many time in different games, there's other places too. Even Australia would be better choice than USA.

Haters logic seems to be: when any new game has bunch of zeros then it's legit score, if it has positive reviews then it must be fake. How sad someone needs to be to even claim something like that, i don't even wanna know.     Only real thing this game misses is one central main character. NPC recruitment is cool idea, but there should still be one main character, npc recruitment should be bonus things you could do.
    Even tho this issue might be fixed with upcoming dlc character, specially Aiden from first game.

    So glad to see Ubisoft finally back on track. This game feels like actual game unlike ghost recon breakpoint. Assassin's Creed Valhalla seems already amazing.

    Fact that it has so much lower user score literally blows my mind. It must have been hardcore review bombing by people who never even cared if this game comes out. Been playing for two days now and it's pure joy to finally play something i actually care about. I barely finished second game, it was just so boring.     Combat feels good, London feels alive and immersive, gameplay is fun and I love the idea of the people being the loot themselves. Of course the game has some flaws like many other Ubi games but I was surprised by how good the quality of the game really is.     Pros : London looks beautiful, flying on drones is fun (different from usual planes in open world games), NPC recruitment, hacking mechanics are fun, You can explore all kinds of underground places with your spiderbot.
    Cons: Story is hit or miss, You can't enter many buildings, could use some serious performance patches.

    It's basically exactly what was in trailer and gameplay demos. People don't know how to use youtube or something? It's not must buy, it's not top 3 game of 2020. What it is tho, generally fun, modern open world to mess around with.

    The game is great fun, that's what what most games lack these days. I love how every npc is someone, not just a wast of space. The game is very addictive and i think its a brilliant idea to be anyone. The Team you choose really becomes your baby, you take care of them make them stronger.     I have never visited London, so i have so idea how accurate it is, but youtubers who live in London have said that it is pretty accurate, so that's absolutely very cool that they got this aspect right. RTX in AAA open world game is also huge thing, generally game looks beautiful.

    Beautiful open world that actually feels alive. RDR2 did unexpectedly well with npc's and so does this game, but it's little bit different this time. Now you can play as any npc you see in the world.That's epic.

    Just made this account to say that after 15 hours i haven't had any major problems. I have heard about save issues, personally haven't had any save issues. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. I think Ubisoft tweeted that they patch it on November 9th. I also made this account to fight back against bots who are trying to lower user score. Whoever gives zeros without even owning the game, justJust made this account to say that after 15 hours i haven't had any major problems. The futuristic setting is believable and the cars and city are sweet. Graphics aren't too tier, but they are at least middle of the road.     I’m having an absolute blast with this game! Funnily enough, I actually agree with what most of the more critical reviews have said – the gameplay does get a bit repetitive, the facial animations aren’t perfect, and for fans of Watch Dogs 2 there were small changes (like getting rid of the phone/create a playlist) that may disappoint. But these issues just haven’t bothered me at all.I’m having an absolute blast with this game! But these issues just haven’t bothered me at all. Mostly, I’ve been very impressed with the systems at play here and have just generally been having a great time in this world.

    First off, I think they did such a great job with the world. This near-future London is gorgeous, and perhaps more importantly it is absolutely packed with detail. As much as I loved the sunny aesthetic of the Bay Area in WD2, walking around the cities sometimes felt quite empty. Here, the streets are covered with graffiti and litter and people milling about. I’ve already spent a lot of time just walking around London scanning people.

    Which brings me to my next point – how well they pulled off play as anyone. They’ve done a bang-up job of making every person feel just a little bit unique. Sometimes it’s the quirky backstory they are procedurally generated, but oftentimes it’s also the way that animations for running, voice, and clothing are stacked together to create an individualized character. Obviously, there are archetypes, but I haven’t found any two people who share the same voice, face, and job. I also haven’t experienced any of the issues I’ve heard from other people about strangely mis-matched voices to bodies.

    This has all made me really enjoy just strolling around scanning everyone. But, when you do add players to your team of operatives, there is also enough variety in gameplay to keep it fresh. The missions themselves are mostly rinse and repeats where you are infiltrating a building to rescue someone or steal something. But the ability to go in as a totally different operative – one who may be a stealth expert with a silenced pistol, or one who belches randomly and can pound a beer in a pinch – makes your approach to each mission interesting enough (in my opinion).

    Simply trying to figure out how the game’s “census system” works has kept me interested in tracking people’s movements. While parts of this game feel outdated, this system truly feels next-gen. I’ll be walking down the street and rescue someone being harassed by military personnel, only to find out that they were the personal trainer to someone I had previously scanned for recruitment who now likes me more and may be willing to join our cause. Alternatively, I accidentally ran over someone while fleeing the authorities and later I scanned someone on the street who happened to be their husband and was on his way to mourn at her gravesite. These kind of flourishes that dynamically change how the world responds to the way I move through it feel so refreshing.

    Other small improvements have been made from WD2, like the driving is a little tighter, but for the most part the gameplay feels very similar to its predecessor. They did add a lot of variety in clothing which I really appreciate – and the way they bundled shops together to copy real-world shopping centers like Kensington Road or Camden High Street is excellent.

    The story is broadly quite generic, with an authoritarian military force having taken over the streets of London. Some of the individual villains are more interesting than those in past outings (the main antagonist was definitely a weak point of WD2 for me), and I was impressed with some of the non-story world building. Not being able to listen to audio logs outside of menus is annoying as hell. But, the in-car podcasts and other environmental cues do a surprisingly decent job of being unabashedly anti-fascist (for a company that has had its fair share of problems). Without saying much more, there are also some missions where the story starts to go places, I was really excited about their ambition, but unfortunately these seem (so far) to be a minority of the main story missions.

    Overall, while I understand much of the criticism, I am still having a blast with Watch Dogs: Legion. I love open world third-person action games, and with all of the Witcher wannabes recently it’s been a little while since I messed about in a city-sandbox like this. It isn’t perfect, but it has enough that feels interesting and ambitious for me to recommend this game!    … Expand

    What a cool game. This one at least tries to be something, unlike Marvel's Avengers.
    Could use tons of improvements, but it already feels way more interesting than WD2.
    There's many secret areas (underground usually) that you can explore and you can just fly on drones, hack everything, scan npc's, recruit them etc.

    It's actually way better than what i expected. Specially after absolute letdown that WD2 was.
    Positives would be: combat, npc recruitment system, graphics, drone hacking, hacking in general, spiderbot, underground locations, design of London.
    Negatives: story is "eh", performance could be better.
    Overall would recommend if you liked watch dogs 1 and are general watch dogs fan.

    I find it really impressive. The visuals (PS4 Pro) are great, can't imagine how it will look on PS5. The story also (if you listen alone to the audio logs littered in the world) is very engaging, as long as you love science fiction.

    The interactivity of the city is something Rockstar Games probably can not shy away from any longer, especially after the upcoming Cyberpunk.

    PC version needs some serious patches that makes fps better. Consoles versions will obviously run better on Xbox Series X or PS5, but PS4 Pro runs it fine as well. Overall very unique concept, recruit any npc, make army of them, free London. London looks beautiful btw.

    It's really classy that anyone can become your character. Yes, grandma and grandpa too! But mostly I traveled through London with my good friend    Lockdown or not. Fortunately, the streets of virtual futuristic London in Watch Dogs Legion are still open! Have been looking forward to this game for a long time and after a weekend exploring the streets I can say that it is really worth it!

    It's really classy that anyone can become your character. Yes, grandma and grandpa too! But mostly I traveled through London with my good friend Ji-hoon Jang! Maybe because he is also in IT, who knows?

    By the way, virtual London looks very nice, so it will look even better on next-gen console. Futuristic London is a perfect setting and is still very recognizable. But that futuristic setting ensures that you can fly with a drone throughout London, for example!

    Yet there is one downside to the game: no dogs! Missed opportunity, though!    … Expand

Specially for Assassin's Creed series, but watch dogs is fun too.     So far everything is nice, graphics are from decent to good, npc recruitment is fun (because tons of characters to choose from). Undressing female characters is always fun. Story is meh, but open world London makes up for it. Would recommend.

Es gibt relativ lange ladezeiten in dem game. das beste beispiel dafür ist, wenn man das versteck von dedsec verlässt. Im vorgänger gab es keine ladezeiten, wenn man das versteck verlassen oder betreten hat.
    In diesem ableger gibt es diese aus irgendeinem grund, was meiner meinung nach ein rückschritt ist.
    Nun kommen wir aber zu den positiven aspekten, die meiner meinung nach überwiegen. Das spiel macht verdammt viel spaß . Auch wenn die spielwelt , story und aufgaben relativ einseitig sind, macht das spiel sehr viel spaß. Dies liegt an dem neuen feature, dass man jeden npc spielen kann. Ubisoft hat es wirklich geschafft es so zu machen, dass es gut funktioniert. Es macht einfach spaß auf die strasse zu gehen und sich einen neuen rekruten zu suchen. Ich empfehle das spiel mit dem death mode zu spielen. Dieser sorgt dafür, dass gefallene agenten nicht eingesperrt, sondern tot sind. So baut man eine bindung zu seinen agenten auf und versucht ernsthaft, dass sie nicht sterben. Das fahren und schiessen fühlt sich deutlich besser an als im vorgänger. Die story lässt zwar zu wünschen übrig, jedoch
    gibt es wirklich eine interressante figur: die KI Bagley ist ein sehr interressanter charakter und führt durch seine ironischen bemerkungen zu dem ein oder anderen lacher.

    Alles in allem denke ich, dass das spiel eher für die ps5 oder xbox series x optimiert ist.
    Ich hoffe , dass Ubisoft die technik in den griff bekommt, da es aktuell in einem katastrophalen zustand ist. Ich habe sehr großen spass mit dem spiel und ich glaube all, die den vorgänger gefeiert haben, die fühlen mit mir.    … Expand

    It's not MUST BUY right now, but it has very strong potential to become even better. There's some serious performance patch needed, but it's all there. Everything that was in trailers, gameplay demos etc. And it's (so far) pretty enjoyable game.

    So far haven't had any performance issues with PS4 Pro. Surprisingly haven't encountered almost any bugs, no save game problems ( i guess i'm lucky) and overall it just runs well enough idk what to say lol.
    After 7 hours, no crashes, but i'm waiting for them because apparently they happen "all the time" ...
    Did i mention this game is fun by the way.

    Paused the game for a second to come here and check user score and it's basically exactly what i expected. Bunch of angry losers giving zero's. So typical, so pathetic lol.
    Game is fun by the way. I would very much recommend it. It's nothing special, but it has some really unique mechanics.

    look, Ubisoft is like Taco Bell, they come out with new products all the time and those products are basically the same ingredients in a new package with a minor twist, some times it works sometimes not so much. This remix of the old formula works and is fun to play. I happen to enjoy the casual nature of Ubisoft's games and this one is providing a great distraction. The graphics are brilliant no frame rate drop for me and I have the slim PS4 with a full HD tv. But it’s quite simple. Getting around is pretty easy but one thing needed and a lot of is tech points and some of them aren’t accessible cos of game progress or I haven’t opened that part up, some are high up and so you need a parcel drone, not easy to come by but once you’ve hacked one, getting around the capital of London becomes a breeze, no where becomes inaccessible. The driving mechanics is very easy, each is a little different, definitely not GTA 5 but close. It’s almost GTA 5 the tech version. And London, oh London, looks stunning. Obviously being from the Midlands I don’t know every nut and cranny of London but Ubisoft have created a very dark London, most of which seems real and to scale. You can even go on the London eye and take pictures. I’m gonna say it, this game is surprisingly brilliant and fun. Not played it for many hours but I’m sure there’s more to come and I look forward to many more fun hours. Oh and by the way, don’t run anyone over and kill them cos after all, you can play as anyone including that old man you just run over. Not a classic but also not bad. And I’ve had one crash so far but I’m sure Ubisoft will continue to update and improve the gameplay and iron out those pesky bugs. Thanks Ubisoft.… Expand

    Pretty solid game for what it tries to do. Nothing outstanding, but giving npc's deeper personality is future of open world games for sure. Also ability to recruit any npc is very cool.
    Graphics are from fine to actually stunning, depending on time of day. Would very much recommend.

    I didn't like the series going into that future. I would still prefer it to be set on current days. But the game has not become a futuristic sci-fi, it leads well despite the new technologies present.

    About the gameplay, some commands have been changed compared to WD2. But it is very similar and fun as always, especially hacking. London's graphics are beautiful but the NPCs (which are controllable) are well below quality.

    The story is cliché in the extreme. Since there is no protagonist, we have little empathy with the controllable characters. They are more fun to play than they are deep in history.

    The problems aren't as big as the game's (and Ubisoft's) haters make it look on social media, but they do exist. However, this does not detract from the fun of the game at all. Like the other two titles in the series, it is a very good game but does not take advantage of all the opportunities it has to establish itself as a major franchise.

    In my preference, it is behind the first 2, but maintained a good level to wait for a really great sequence of the series. Hopefully it has a lot of DLC.

    Como já virou tradição, Watch Dogs é atacado nas redes sociais em seu lançamento. Mas o jogo é muito bom e injustiçado, apesar dos problemas.

    Diferentemente dos jogos da série, esse se passa num futuro próximo. Isso cria algumas novas perspectivas na gameplay. Tecnologias que hoje ainda parecem distante da nossa realidade, já são bem comuns no mundo aberto do jogo.

    Particularmente, não gostei da série ter ido para esse futuro. Ainda preferiria que fosse nos dias atuais. Mas o jogo não se tornou um sci-fi futurista, está bem pé no chão apesar das novas tecnologias presentes.

    Em questão de jogabilidade, alguns comandos foram trocados em relação ao WD2. Mas está muito parecido e divertido como sempre, especialmente hackear. Os gráficos de Londres estão lindos mas os NPC (que são controláveis) estão bem abaixo na qualidade.

    A história é clichê ao extremo. Como não há protagonista, temos pouca empatia com os personagens controláveis. Eles são mais divertidos de se jogar do que profundos na história.

    Play as everyone works a lot better than I expected but I found certain characters to ruin great story scenes which work great with other characters such as the professional hitman. Ubisoft remade London with great care and it paid off (besides those over the top voices.)     There's two things that makes this open world stand out from others, ability to recruit and play as ANY npc in the game and RTX reflection in true open world game. There's some other unique stuff too like flying on drones, instead of usual planes or helicopters. Performance could be better, otherwise it's nice.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I am having so much fun in this game! I am about 6h into the game so far. Please get the deep profiler in the Tech tree . It makes it so much fun to mess with people. That one time I tried to rescue a potential recruit's lover from the Kelly gang, the bad guys almost smoked that broad before I could get her out of there :). I am playing with Permadeath on, so losing operators , but that makes the game so edgy .... all those complaining about the game being dull ... come on , play with permanent death on from the start . It changes the game so much. Spider bot is great too, that in your face "Alien facehugger style" takedown... LOVE IT! Graphics wise I did not see this as spectacular, seems maybe a bit better that WatchDogs 2, but definitely not 2020 . But then I did not really notice the graphics after a bit. That said , i think there are things the Ubisoft could have fixed. I crashed a couple of times going back to the Main menu part. It did not seem to adversely affect my progress in the game. I think this kind of thing needs to be picked up in testing. I also think they should have launched with multiplayer ON :/ ... I mean in Dec I will be playing CyberPunk. All in all , great game , -3 points for bugs , +2 points for doing all this work during quarantine.… Expand

    Excelente juego con buenas graficos y muy buenas mecanicas de disparo y personajes coloridos,con gran personalidad y un buen sistema de juego.Lo recomiendo para cualquier jugador nuevo y viejo con la franquicia watchdogs.

    I really like the concept of Watch Dogs: Legion as it has the system where you can play as any characters which have different abilities, which I think its interesting! But the one thing I do not like about Watch Dogs: Legion is that the controls are weird on PS4,and the game crashes frequently. I hope Ubisoft resolves this but other than that, its a great game!

The game world is so amazingly crafted as every UBISOFT game. There is so much to do and secrets to uncover and they rebuild London perfectly. Even tho the game tack place in the future London still feels like London. Play as anyone is a good idea and it just works but it's laking a lot of uniqueness sometimes. Most of the agents fell the same with few changes here and there. Sometimes it's the same character with a different code of paint but there are so enough you rarely find someone that looks and sounds exactly the same but that doesn't mean you'll find some agents the same looking agents because it's random. Missions are repetitive and lack variety It's always going there, kill some people or robots, hack that and this. But there are some missions that have some memorable settings. I enjoyed the game for what it is I understand this isn't for everyone. As a final note "Don't expect Witcher 3 kinda a game from every developer". Stay safe games!… Expand

    Obviously its not perfect but I think it is really good, not just for an ubisoft game but a game in general.

    The gameplay is really smooth depending on what operative your are using, if you have a professional hitman, you can go up to people and execute them jhon wick style, and if you have a beekeeper you can send a swarm their way and it just feels so cool.(there are many more operatives with great abilities) while if you didnt like the gameplay of WD or wd2, you may not have as much fun as me ut I still think it could offer enough to let you have fun.(NOTICE!If you are someone who likes going up against very smart AI, the ai in this game, though quite unforgiving if caught, can be very dumb)

    i'm not sure about PC or Xbox but the game seems very well optimized on my ps4 pro, the graphics are great, the loading times arent obnoxious like some other games that came out this year and the input is perfectly fine. Another complaint I have heard is that the story is boring and while Its no the last of us or the witcher 3, it is really solid and entertaining. (without any spoilers) the plot is basically something happens to london and dedsec that requires you to recruit the people of london and un cover the person disturbing the have to find the perpetrators and restore peace in london.

    People have also been saying that it is a very repetitive game and I just have to disagree , there are so many things to do around london and so many Ways to infiltrate each hideout whether you go in guns a blazing, stealthily, with a drone, disguised, etc. It always has new things to offer. Also, cto clear each borough of London, they have similar missions that have been re touched to feel unique each time and the final mission of each borough is unique and rewards you with an elite operator (spy, drone expert, anarchist, etc.) That has special abilities that is hard to find just on the streets. (The only thing that feels repetitiveto me is the pipe puzzles but they dont seem to be as frequent as they were in WD1 or 2)

    I HAVE BOUGHT THE GAME ON THE STANDARD EDITION ($60) and it doesnt feel like I'm missing out on anything so dont feel inclined to but the gold or ultimate edition unless you want to expand on your experience of the game.    … Expand

    The new mechanics and recruitement system are working really well and make the gameplay different from every other player.
    All the positiv from the previous opus were kept but some of the cons too.
    Driving still feel awful if you don't use the autodrive and I was hoping they would balance that. But the amount of stuff they got right was incredible, they made you feel like every character is different and unique. Gameplay opportunities here are crazy. Hats off to ubisoft for making such an interesting step forward which will now probably be credited to the next open world game which uses this idea and makes it work. But for me this is a big step forward and i hope they will keep at it with this game and its online modes. Looking forward for the future of Watch Dogs!… Expand

    If you can see yourself obsessing over building the perfect team and trying out different tactics in the combat arenas you'll have a lot of fun. It's not perfect, it's kind of shallow, but I am giving it a pass because I've never been able to do what this game offers in any other game before.

The standard hacks like cellphone distractions and currency stealing are completely downgraded and limited by a cool-down that takes way too long to recharge. Character models have stiff, copy/paste animations from previous WD games, awful lip syncing and no real variation in voices other than a slight modulation that makes the dialogue even more cringe-worthy than it already is at times. There's no in-game phone with built-in apps to try out or even a media player so you can listen to songs when you're on foot so at times, the game feels empty in terms of soundtracks other than what's available on the car radio. The game just isn't really innovative in any way other than being able to recruit anyone walking around London. But there's really no incentive in having multiple recruits other than using certain perks to complete missions quicker. All in all, it's a half decent game but it needs a LOT of work. The only thing I'm looking forward to when it comes to the game now is the DLC with Aiden, Wrench and the other new characters. Unless you have absolutely nothing else in your games library to play DON'T FALL FOR THE HYPE TRAIN UBISOFT THROWS US IN FRONT OF EVERY FEW YEARS! WAIT FOR THE GAME TO GO ON SALE!… Expand

    Watch Dogs: Legion is far from perfect. It tries to tell a story about resisting oppression via the power of the people, but the concept of making any character in the world a viable choice means that the experience ends up being too broad and vague. I was able to spice things up by bringing my own roleplay to characters and used items that weren’t necessary, but this was my way of compensating for the ways in which Watch Dogs: Legion falls short of what I want from a triple-A adventure.

    What you’re left with is a game that delivers a greatlooking futuristic London, and not much of anything else. It suffered a hefty delay, and the series transitioned from Ubisoft Montreal to Ubisoft Toronto. Something has been lost here, and we can’t help but feel that the commitment to making any character playable is the core issue. That’s been made possible, but just because Ubisoft could, that didn’t mean the developer should have. [Issue#182, p.147]

    Watch Dogs: Legion is undoubtedly the best of the series, the one that is closest to bringing the experience promised by that trailer of the first game. Hacks are useful and the lack of a fixed character ends up making DedSec the true protagonist and, since we recruit, control and manage the operators, in the end we end up feeling part of the resistance.
