    A big improvement over the first title however it doesnt take much to do that. I did have fun playing this game and it held my interest all the way through.

    Es el mejor en ambientación de los 3, la ciudad se siente viva! Con npcs haciendo cada uno una cosa diferente, gráficos que a día de hoy 2023, han envejecido bastante bien, su historia es algo floja y las físicas de conducción son horrendas pero todo lo demás, es fenomenal!

    Leaving aside the comparisons with other games, WD2 is innovative, it has a lot to offer, a realistic world where nothing is private, improvable but charismatic characters (wrench) The best game in the saga, it has many details, entertaining gameplay and varied missions, an IP that can give much more and Ubisoft must know how to take care of it

    this game is bad. This is proof that as much pretty graphics you can throw at the developer (to make a gta clone) it fails to be special and express itself as an individual game. Your game should not focus on the small details of trying to do some nonsensical hacking nonsense, it is basically all the left over annoying missions from assassins creed's modern day plot rolled into one gamethis game is bad.     The game's story lacks consistency in seriousness, with some parts feeling less serious. The friendly AI is unintelligent and unhelpful, detracting from the gameplay experience. The graphics suffer in certain weather conditions, appearing unimpressive. The car physics are annoying and unrealistic. Overall, the game's flaws in story, AI, graphics, and car physics hinder enjoyment.

    There is another problem in games physics which no studio can make good physics in Their game Unless the game is based off physics
    The Combat ui is cursed a little because you can lose your pursures when you enter a small closerd area b when the cops see you go there they are just nah we ain't checking there
    Its like that in every game almost
    But overall the game is great
    I suggest y'all trying it
    The ai is exteremly good and developed and the graphics and story and the characters are also great
    The sad part is this games is dead now in 2023 i hope it comes back

    One thing ruins the game completely. It's the police. If you like the GTA police chasing, this game is not like that. They are much more ridiculous. They just randomly generate police cars out of nowhere. If you think you are smart to drive off-road onto a hill, there will be a police car waiting for you there as well. The story is exciting and keeps you wanting to play but it could definitely be improved as it isn't the most interesting narrative I've ever played through and the characters are not that likeable. That being said, it is a decent story and the locations explored are also fun to visit.

That being said, it is a decent story and the locations explored are also fun to visit.

    Gameplay is mainly stealth focused and whilst you can use stealth takedowns and non lethal weapons to get through the game without killing many people at all, guns are powerful enough that you can usually just go into an area all guns blazing and still complete the mission. I found overall that the funnest way to complete these stealth missions was to not enter the area at all and instead use the drone and jumper to do everything remotely and deal with the mission smoothly. You get a sense of achievement from breaching an area without being spotted as it feels like the correct way to play the game.

    In terms of the open world, you get to explore San Francisco and Silicon Valley. The weapons and hacks at your disposal make for some very funny situations as you can take control of NPCs' cars and mess about with people's phones and the traffic. The police are not very harsh and usually it is easy to escape them with a decent car but if you want a challenging police chase, you can just shoot the police and ram them with your vehicle to get them more angry and send stronger force after you. The NPCs are extremely stupid and you can barely interact with them but this just makes the game more fun in some situations.

    Overall, I would say this game is extremely enjoyable (especially the open world) but not a game that deserves to win any awards - a conclusion which really sums up a lot of Ubisoft games.    … Expand

It doesn't provide anything groundbreaking in terms of story and characters however It successfully builds upon the first instalment and is sure to offer you hours of fun. The characters as well don't really have any evolution and sometimes the writing doesn't match what the characters are made out to be (you'll see for yourself). If the characters weren't as interesting as they are initially, this game would be in some trouble for repeating its past mistakes but fear not because these characters are better than the 1st game's. So despite my complaints, I do find this to be a good game, one worthy of your time, just not your thought. Considering it is on Game-pass currently don't miss your chance to play this game.… Expand

    Ottimo gioco con una trama simpatica ma profonda che esplora temi profondi, i personaggi sono memorabili e tutto ciò unito ad un ottimo game play e mai noioso mi ha portato a dare un 8, e a completarlo al 100% MA il gioco non è esente da difetti infatti l’IA dei nemici non è così brillante e i bug sono molti anche se parecchi non sono invalidanti nella partita.

Сюжет здесь хуже, чем в первой части, но неплох, всё-таки некоторые герои хоть какие-то эмоции и чувства заинтересованности вызывают, слабенько конечно, но да ладно, пойдёт. А вотСовершенно обычная игра от Ubisoft, ничем особым она не зацепила. Большой красивый открытый мир, по этому миру разбросаны всякие разные коллекционные штуки и ресурсы, необходимые для прокачки главного героя. Сюжет здесь хуже, чем в первой части, но неплох, всё-таки некоторые герои хоть какие-то эмоции и чувства заинтересованности вызывают, слабенько конечно, но да ладно, пойдёт. А вот интерес к геймплею здесь разбавили джампер и квадрокоптер – с ними довольно-таки интересно играть. Сама игра такая вся яркая, красочная, Сан-Франциско воссоздан очень хорошо, но всё-таки мне больше понравился мрачный Чикаго из первой части.     I absolutely loved this game, The experience is still great even the main missions are finished unlike other games where it gets boring after finishing the Main missions. The story is good, The game soundtrack is good, The graphics surprisingly still holds up to this day, The exploration is great yet the combat mechanics were a little bit downgraded from the first game.

    One of my most favorite games of all time. I liked the cheesy dialogue. I liked the cheesy cutscenes and storyline. I loved the open world. I loved hacking things and coming up with different ways to do a mission. Unlike TLOU2 that makes you do each mission and each room they way they want.

Auch viele Spielmechaniken wurden verändert und die typische Ubisoft Formel so weitgehend abgeschüttelt. So verzichtet Watchdogs 2 beispielsweise auf das Freischalten von Funktürmen. Auch viele Nebenaufgaben gestalten sich nun deutlich weniger repetitiv und wurden organischer in das generelle Setting eingebunden.

    Viel kritisiert wurde am ersten Teil auch die laue Geschichte um den depressiven Racheengel Aiden. Insbesondere hier wollte man nun alles anders machen, schafft es nun aber gekonnt krachend auf der anderen Seite vom Pferd zu fallen. Denn die Hipster Hacker Gruppe um Marcus ist so übertrieben und stereotyp dargestellt, dass es stellenweise wirklich schon peinlich wird. Um Watchdogs 2, angelehnt an ein GTA 5, vorwiegend als Satire zu spielen, dafür nimmt sich der Titel am Ende dann leider zu ernst.

    Leider wurde auch das Gameplay eher etwas "verschlimmbessert". Vielleicht hat Ubisoft die Kritik am ersten Teil doch etwas zu ernst genommen und deshalb letztlich zu viele Spielmechaniken nochmal in die Hand genommen, eben auch solche, die eigentlich bereits sehr rund und motivierend funktionierten. So wirkt Watchdogs 2 im Vergleich zum ersten Teil durchaus etwas überfrachtet und vom Pacing nicht gut ausbalanciert. Die neuen Gimmicks, wie etwa die Drohnen, mit denen sich nun nochmals mehr Möglichkeiten eröffnen in Missionen auch völlig unentdeckt ans Ziel zu kommen, sind schon eine coole Idee, sie machen aber die Kamerahacks, die das Gameplay des ersten Teils noch so innovativ gemacht hatten, eigentlich völlig überflüssig. Durch die vielen verschiedene Möglichkeiten, die Watchdogs 2 uns bietet, spielt es sich sehr abwechslungsreich, aber auch deutlich weniger übersichtlich und wirkt irgendwie überfrachtet, was ein gezieltes, taktisches Vorgehen, also ein Abwägen der effektivsten Vorgehensweise, oftmals konterkariert.

    Auch die Fahrphysik der Autos wurde komplett überarbeitet und wird nun deutlich effektvoller umgesetzt, nur in Folge dessen eben leider auch unberechenbarer. So sind, bei all der Action, vor allem die Hacking Tricks um Polizeiwagen abzuhängen oder Helikopter auszuschalten nun kaum mehr gezielt einsetzbar und das Ganze artet meist im reinen Chaos aus. Ob ein Entkommen mit dem Auto gelingt oder nicht, entscheidet so oft mehr der Zufall als das fahrerische sowie hackerische Geschick. Da kann manchmal schon regelrecht Frust aufkommen. Defacto flieht man in Watchdogs 2 meist effektiver zu Fuß, was meines Erachtens aber weniger zum Spielgefühl passt.

    Alles in allem macht auch Watch Dogs 2 dennoch eine Menge Spaß. Nicht zuletzt aufgrund der tollen Inszenierung und der wirklich fantastischen Open World, die einem GTA 5 kaum nachsteht und das Chicago des Erstlingswerks der Entwickler sicherlich bei weitem überflügelt. Hoffen wir, dass sich Ubisoft für einen dritten Teil mehr Zeit nimmt, um das Gameplay weiter zu perfektionieren und vielleicht auch wieder ein wenig zu entfrachten.    … Expand

    "Does Screen Tearing happen while walking?" The answer is yes, for example at Nudies place, when you want to see the view, turn your camera and Boom Screen Tearing occurs. It's a shame considering the world is so beautiful.

    Save your money but if you are curious and still want to buy, I suggest waiting for a discount like I did for 7$ in my country (Indonesia). For the best choice, buy XB Series S or Series X because there you will get a Booster until the game runs smoothly at 60fps. It's a shame that PS5 can't play this game at 60fps instead of 30 fps (Series S can be 60fps with specifications below PS5).

This is a game about hackers, I have to do everything quietly, and not take a pissed machine gun with a grenade launcher and fall into the base, this is stinking nonsense! I officially wish Ubisoft game designers to crap! If the developers stupidly copied half of the game, including animations, sounds, a **** car, broken PvP mechanics, weapons, what was the problem with transferring the only game mechanic that worked well - stealth?     The AI is not that good, the cops and the vehicles AI is poor. The story is mediocre, I don't recall any character's name.

It's set in San Fransisco and boy does the world feel alive and like everyone around you is really living. It's drowning in so much humdrum that everywhere is a joy to explore and have fun in.

    Best of all are the characters. Dedsec is just a joy. They're all so different and work incredibly well together. Their gang feels like it really means something to them all, and you really root for them and want them to succeed. Marcus is a fantastic protagonist; he's funny and you really feel a connection to him. Even more so, Wrench is just a ball of sunshine as a character. He's weird, explosive, crude, and just an absolute blast. Despite knowing so little about him in this game, he's my absolute favourite, and makes me laugh with his antics and his unpredictable fun-loving way of life.    … Expand

    The gameplay is the best part of the game. 8/10. I had fun. The open world is a lot improved, it doesn't feel so dead as WD1 because now there are people doing activities like Yoga, dancing, etc, you can hack and see their messages and interact with them but    In a nutshell, this game is a Watch Dogs 1 with some new gameplay mechanics (hacking skills, vehicles, etc) and a far worse story.

    The gameplay is the best part of the game. 8/10. I had fun. The open world is a lot improved, it doesn't feel so dead as WD1 because now there are people doing activities like Yoga, dancing, etc, you can hack and see their messages and interact with them but it also doesn't have too many activities to do, so it isn't a perfect open world it is. The game still has the same bad physics at driving but that isn't an issue for me, I even had fun laughing at how bad it is. The missions have the same approach as WD1, you can do the mission in 3 different ways: Rambo Style, stealth mode or just hacking with your drone. Aside from hacking the 2 first options are fun and I had fun.

    But what really disappointed me is the story. For me, it is 2/10. It is completely forgettable and it is really bad.     I really like this game. It's just a ton of fun to me personally. The gameplay loop is good, the online mode is especially fun, the online hacking mode is super cool and feels super intense to play, trying to find the other player before you lose. Super engaging.     Totally boring and monotonous gameplay. 90% of all quests you'll do one and same things over and over again! Story is good but not more. Characters are interesting but they should be more complicated.
    Geek references is the best part of this game.
    Don't play it or any game of this franchise.

    The gameplay is improved but it's lost all the edge of the original, pandering more to kids, and covering themselves by ticking every diversity box in the process. Compared to its predecessor, the plot of WD2 is uninspiring and dull and makes progressing through the game pointless.

    А причина в сюжете! Если в Watch Dogs я играл за Эйдена, человека потерявшего ребенка из за бандюков, мстящего за свою семью, борющегося с системой уничтожившей его жизнь! То в Watch Dogs 2 я играю за молодого распиздяя, который занимается хакерством для того, что бы заработать бабла. И друганы его занимаются тем же. Вот есть город, в котором живут люди, работают и зарабатывают деньги, пользуются всеми благами 21 века в лице ctOS 2 и всем глубоко плевать на то кто всем этим руководит и сколько он за это гребёт. Главное всем хорошо. Но нет. Появляются эти придурки и начинают "бороться с системой". Взламывать сети, разорять заводы, заставляя жителей города сидеть без работы, короче делают жизнь простых людей невыносимой. А потом когда они буквально подставляют своего дружка Горация, то обвиняют во всем.......ну конечно систему. Я не хочу ассоциировать себя с этими придурками, а значит, и играть за них.
    Вот в чем причина!
    Ещё одна странность. Зачем то взяли и уничтожили нормальное оружие, теперь оно напечатано на 3d принтере, а поэтому и выглядит, и звучит, и стреляет соответственно.
    В общем, такое ощущение, что делали игру для людей 10 - 15 лет. А я, к сожалению, вырос из этого возраста.
    Но есть и хорошие отличия от первой части, например убрали наконец эти грёбаные обязательные автопокатушки.
    И ещё появился коптер!

The game is 20 hours long. The whole 20 hours you're doing the same main mission. And the level design sucks. It's really boring

    La historia puede llegar a ser repetitiva pero te puedo asegurar que te vas a divertir mucho...

    El juego tiene bastantes bugs, a mi me sucedieron los siguientes: Ultima misión error: "bucle de Wrench" (solucionado) y no recibí uno trofeo obligatorios tras completar la primera misión por un bug del juego (solo me falta el trofeo bug) (sin solucionar).

    A pesar de los bugs y otros inconvenientes recomiendo este juego al 100%, si buscabas un Watch Dogs este es el mejor de todos, el Watch Dogs 1 no tiene casi posibilidades de hackear y le faltan cosas y el Watch Dogs Legion no tiene protagonista.

    Watch Dogs 2 actualmente esta a muy buen precio y creo que todo usuario debería comprárselo.

It often seemed to me during the game that the creators put too much humor on the dialogues. As a result, some dialogues are simply embarrassing. But everyone has a different kind of taste in humor, so if someone laughed, I don't mind.

    So, in addition to the already mentioned driving model, the game took all the good from the first part and further improved it (for example, the possibility of piloting a drone or a jumper). In the end, I rate a decent score of 8/10, because I really enjoyed the game and in the future I will definitely return to it, at least for a while.    … Expand

    Watch Dogs 2 is a sequel that is better is some respects and not so much in others. While the hacking has not only been improved, but expanded upon, it's narrative and main characters are the main detracting points from it being better than the original Watch Dogs.

After couple of hours, It is not a GTA5 experience, its an RPG with an attempt to be an open world game. If you are looking for an RPG with a little twist of GTA5, then this is your game. But if you are expecting new GTA5 experience, this is not it. Going to the most i hate, The radio track is so bad and dumb. very lazy attempt. What i do like about the game is RPG side, The hacker feel is very immersive and surprisingly its not at all repetitive.

I ca remember when I started playing it in 2018, and where flashed, because it was one of the first games which made me so much fun, that I played the whole game 100% thru. I just downloaded it again, and it is still the same good feeling of beeing fast and sneaky at the same time. Aah man, beautiful game

The characters were move alive than Aiden Pierce from the first game but I just found them annoying, except Ray he was pretty decent. Driving was fun but very sluggish, GTA 5 feels more refined in that aspect. Sneaking and gunfights is where I hated this game, it seems like with or without Autoaim i could not get this down, it really failed, again GTA 5 was much more refined in the way it performed combat. Soundtrack was killer and was the different types of hacks you could do. I loved controlling cars to create chaos. All in all it was worth a play and an easy platinum.… Expand

    I'm a big fan of the original Watch Dogs. The game is infamous due to having one of the most impressive and misleading pre-release trailers in history. Smooth pretty visuals and impressive weather and physics effects, but when the game released it was fps locked on pc, and had much more reduced weather and physics effects.
    A lot of people were disappointed with the final product, however I played it despite this and ended up really liking the story and finding the game very fun.

    So along comes a sequel, and I the protagonist form the original is gone. The story of the original is gone. In fact the only thing that carries over is "technology used by authoritarianism is bad", everything else is very watered down and poorly conveyed.

    The plot of WD2 is one of the most boring and uninteresting plots of any game I've ever played. There's no cohesive narrative, just a series of half missions that somewhat link together.
    Instead of a proper plot you just have an "app" on a "phone" where you have to find missions. This is the least engaging way of doing a story I've seen. the main goal of the game is to get 'followers' (urgh).

    But the overall story being dull and fragmented isn't even the main issue with the game, the main characters are incredibly boring and unlikable. It's just a bunch of forgettable and uninteresting geeks that have absolutely no personalities or relationship with each other.
    I couldn't get myself to care about any of the characters, there's no depth to any of them (unlike Aiden Pearce from the original) and any attempts of humor is extremely cringeworthy.

    Additionally the main mission design is just tedious. 95% of the game is just the same thing over and over again: "Hack a device" and to do so, unlock doors, sneak to the device, hold triangle, then sneak out. That's pretty much it, there's barely any level variation in Watch Dogs 2. Which is a real shame as Watch Dogs 1 was much more varied, fun and interesting.

    The only variation you might get on that is the 2 gadgets Marcus gets: a jumper (remote control car that jumps) and a quadcopter (drone). You have to save up to buy them, but once you buy them you realise most missions are actually designed to be completed using them. Every level has little ramps or doors for them to sneak though, and if they get detected and destroyed, they just respawn.
    Without them Marcus has to try to sneak himself and if he gets seen he gets killed, enemies are countless and heavily armoured.

    The only issue with these gadgets are: there's no variation, every level is the same, and all you do is the same repeated actions of sneaking around trying to reach the objective items to hack. And that many missions force Marcus to hack one item on the level so you end up having to sneak marcus in anyway negating anything you've done with the jumper or drone.

    Occasionally you'll get a power puzzle, which is kind of like a pipe-mania minigame of linking fuses with electricity. After about 50 of these they start to get a little boring.

    And that's pretty much it. The only variation I found was some remote control vans side missions and a couple of pretty unique final missions involving robots and satellites which were the only parts of the game I actually enjoyed.

    WD2 focuses on stealth much more than WD1, which is fine, but then all the abilities are locked away and need a lot of grinding to unlock, so without those hack upgrades and gadget purchases you will find you struggle a fair bit to start with.

    In the end I found myself trying to power through the story to get it over with just so that i could enjoy the sandbox of the world of San Francisco. And San Fran is great, exploring the world and finding side missions and unlockables is far more fun than the story. Once you find enough research points and schematics it means you can do almost everything via hacking and remote control. The game becomes far more interesting without being Marcus and just living in hackerspace. You can start arranging gang assassinations and forging evidence on people and arranging arrests on targets. Solving the puzzles, and hacking intel via camera, jumper and drone without needing to actually risk yourself by doing anything via the protagonist.

    Although as mentioned above, sadly this still gets very repetitive, I wish there was SOME variation in this game.

    The controls aren't the most intuitive in this game, and aren't really explained to you well. The main button to do everything is L1, but if you hold L1 you get to do different actions, but these actions are represented by the least clear icons I've seen, so you really have to memorize what everything is. I don't recall being so confused starting the original Watch Dogs.    … Expand

    The final mission was disappointing for me. It wasn't hard at all, and it was done very quickly. The history ending was bitter to me too. I felt that was ok, but I kept thinking "ok... i did all of this and the antagonist only says a few words and thats it, bye?"

    Post-game you can play the sidequests if you want, but besides that, you aint have much more to do. I wouldn't keep playing for the side quests.

    The bright side of the game, joining the improved gameplay, its the city of San Francisco. I think its quite beautiful and the landscape varies a lot, I really liked that.

I like how this game is more based on hacking than shooting, which points out the title of the game. They also managed to deal with the driving issues Watch Dogs has, but still it is not perfect. Some enemies are a little bit like bulletproof, but it is not really an issue. Online features are not really so good as the game, they could have improved it, but still you can spend some few extra hours on online mode as well.… Expand

    Surprisingly for an Ubisoft game, it is not chock full of    Watchdogs 2 hits a better tone than the first game, making you part of a hacking crew rather than being a random angry loner. This gives the whole game a much more fun and lighthearted vibe that I really loved. The cast of characters is diverse and interesting, and the story is pretty decent, and I had a lot of fun with it.

    Man, the security guards, are nuts! There are no warnings stand in the wrong place, even if you're not doing anything wrong and they will blast you in the face with a shotgun. You also feel a little underpowered compared to the first game. Getting away from the police is much harder and if you get a chopper on your tail good luck!

    *Note I turned off the multiplayer because being invaded when you're just trying to get from one end of the city to the other and being forced to play a game of hide and seek is never, ever fun.    … Expand

    Hacker world! Not good as the first game but with some new idea and new characters it was a OKAY game for me but in the otherways the gameplay had problems a lot.

    It is a fun game, the driving is bad tho, and some of the controls are weird but I like the hacking, and the characters even tho they are sometimes cringy, but I am young so I am also kind of cring so it okay.

    I didn't know what to expect about this game so here goes my impressions. The plot takes place in San Francisco and you can move through the whole city. The characters are like modern or hipsters. As, some people has said it looks a bit to GTA because of the driving and the city but nothing else. Missions are different but over time, you'll see that some of them are a bit repetitive. I think this game would improve with a good tutorial because some missions are very difficult from the begining and enemies keep coming no matter what you do. I didn't like that. Many times I had to low the volume because the music was horrible (too modern). About graphics, these are quiet good. I like to play the games in English but because the subtitles were tiny (and I have a huge tv) I decided to play it in Spanish (which by the were, the voices were good). Also, if you don't know how to find the main missions, go to the map and filter it to find the main missions. If you don't find any, go to Head Quarters (HQ). To sum up, this could have been a better game with less enemies, a good tutorial and more variety of missions. About the plot let's say it's ok. Not my kind of game. Oh, and don't ask me why (or maybe I know, because of the enemies never ending coming and was very repetitive and difficult) it reminds me Just Cause 2; a game I bought for my ps3 years ago and that I hated so much that I end up quitting after some hours.… Expand

    It was a great adventure that gave so many emotions, this beautiful world amazed me, but I had put 9/10 because it consists of some bugs, which once broke mine game.

    If only the first Watch Dogs was like this it could be my favourite series of games by Ubisoft (except first parts of assassin's creed).

    Despite a few flaws, Watch Dogs 2 delivers where the original game failed. The game has improved on every aspect and provides a vibrant city with lots of hacking fun. The story is dull without any special moments but the immersive open world with lots of quests will keep you entertained.

    Watch Dogs 2 brilliantly solves the main issue the first game had while providing a world full of enjoyable missions. We faced some problems with the camera, especially during the car race. We also faced some issues with connectivity and online play. In the end, Watch Dogs 2 is a game that delivers in most aspects and provides hours of enjoyable content.
