Aug 28, 2020Wasteland 3 proves that inXile can make great games regardless of time. Only by playing it, you can tell that this new game of the franchise is far better and still enjoyable. Wasteland 3 is refreshing for old players, and fantastic to new players.

Aug 26, 2020Wasteland 3 is the perfect evolution of its predecessor, with just minor issues that don't ruin the overall experience: welcome back, Rangers.
-
Oct 20, 2020Wasteland 3 is an excellent RPG by keeping the spirit of the original, while also borrowing from Xcom. While the load times get in the way sometimes, there is no denying that you need to play this game if you love a great story with an edge.
-
Oct 8, 2020Wasteland 3 is a technically and visually flawed work of art. It is a true successor to the cult cRPG franchise, both masterfully written and designed, where the player is presented with a true impactfulness and meaning to their choices and decisions.
-
Aug 28, 2020Wasteland 3 is a stunner of a game. All the strategic combat and twisted story choices the series is known for are present here -and done better than they ever have been before. Some technical issues hold the game back, but with time to patch things up, Wasteland 3 will be a stone cold classic.

Sep 15, 2020In summary, Wasteland 3 is an excellent experience, but it’s marred by some pretty cantankerous bugs, and I don’t mean the Scorpitrons. That’s a least the state of things at the time of this writing on my PS4 Pro. I’m hopeful and expecting that continued patching will smooth out these rough edges in the weeks to come. There is an absolute gem of a game to be had outside of the bugs. I heartily recommend Wasteland 3 if you’re as optimistic — or at least as forgiving and patient — as I have been thus far about the playability of the game.
-
Nov 10, 2020A classic role-playing experience that leaves great feelings and unforgettable memories in its wake.

Playstation Official Magazine UKSep 18, 2020A game even irritating glitches can’t keep you from loving, Wasteland 3 is unique, inventive, and always fun. Make the right choice and put this one on your must-play list. [Issue#180, p.73]

Sep 17, 2020And Wasteland 3 certainly is enjoyable. It's true to the series' roots and the proto-Fallout, and understands what it is that makes XCOM-style tactical RPGs so captivating. But most of all, it uses its sense of humour and sharp writing to keep its post-apocalypse interesting, despite how well-worn that path has become in the decades since Wasteland first hit.
-
Sep 7, 2020Wasteland 3 is quite buggy in its current state but the gameplay and systems still manage to shine through. With a little more polish this'll be regarded as a classic in the future. Even as it is now it's an incredibly enjoyable experience.
-
Sep 4, 2020Wasteland 3 is a fantastic post-apocalyptic RPG. Great writing, satisfying, tactical combat, and a world full of memorable characters and meaningful player choice make this a no-brainer for fans of the genre. If you can look past the bugs, there's so much to love about this deliciously dark humoured excursion.
-
Sep 1, 2020A terrifying vision of future America, that already seems worryingly accurate, and also one of the most open-ended role-playing games of recent years, with a smart line in dark comedy.
-
Aug 30, 2020A massive and detailed tactical RPG, Wasteland 3 offers so much to do. A few technical and visual issues occur, but nothing that will ruin the experience.
-
Aug 27, 2020Wasteland 3, in the field of tactical in general and tactical RPG in particular, will inevitably suffer the comparison with some titles released since Wasteland 2, which proved that one could remain faithful to the spirit of the C-PRG without necessarily lacking a modern and deep approach. However, the old-school character of Wasteland 3 is sure to delight fans of the genre as the baby of InXile knows its lesson and recites it with some enthusiasm.
-
Aug 30, 2020The single-player in Wasteland 3 runs fine, but the co-op is currently a hot mess. If you plan to play co-op, wait for a few more patches before picking it up.
-
Oct 1, 2020There's an enjoyable and often downright hilarious story here, that's strengthened by deep gameplay. However, most of the time you'll find yourself staring at loading times, becoming frustrated with the game's unstable framerate, or feeling baffled because of the amount of input lag on display.
-
Sep 3, 2020Wasteland 3 is treading creatively irradiated ground. The nuclear post-apocalypse has been explored to exhaustion, in video games and elsewhere, and no amount of weird factions or sex jokes can prevent it from feeling like an aged rock band on a comeback tour: the tunes are still decent, but there’s no youthful vigour.
