Vader Immortal, $40.95aud from PSN (for 3 episodes). I've completed Ep 1 and 2. Episode 1 was, maybe a bit over an hour, episode 2 was shorter. You have "Vader Dojo" (where the trophies are, there is no Platinum) but the dojo is pretty cheap and nasty.
Story is fine, voice acting is fine.

Light sabers glow, but do not cast convincing light or shadows.
The game has frame hiccups and audio bugs. It's so short it doesn't hurt your eyes, but it's so short that's inexcusable. Tracking could be better, although I might have a dud move controller. It has been ported from Oculus which has very different tracking. It's had some of the worst issues of losing me in tracking. I play in a dark room, I have the ceiling cable hooks, camera is mounted to a highly adjustable camera tripod.
Does not ask for a Facebook account, despite being Oculus branded throughout.
Simply not worth the buy price. If nothing else, PSnow needs to come to Australia and every VR title needs to be on it.

Has merit for any Star Wars Super Fan that will buy any Star Wars stuff at any price.

Cheap rushed port, no respect to PS4 players. Teleporting and clickturning, 180 instead of 360, you cant even die! Its not even a game, its an 'experience'

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game consists of 3 20 minute episodes and many broken promises. It starts off relatively strong (aside from the whole "you've been a jedi for an hour and you'll soon duel darth vader" trope); learning the mechanics as fun (though it implies that you'd use them in a meaningful way, which is a lie), there are a couple of easy but fun puzzles in the beginning, the saber training in episode one is actually good (the rest of the strictly saber fights are not). At one point, you're using a lightsaber in either hand while hurling boulders and enemies with the other hand. But, the last and defining episode (which is where the mechanics are supposed to come together) is a huge disappointment. It essentially consists of several sequences of battling storm troopers from a distance (why can't, I just turn them into hamburger with my laser sword?!) with poor tracking. This makes deflecting blaster blasts difficult, but, fear not, they don't actually hurt you. Eventually, after accidentally deflecting enough of them, you "duel" darth vader; again, he can't hurt you. There are no stakes, the gameplay is poorly fleshed out. There is an implication of dual wielding (you have a saber holster on each side, after all) but it does not happen. There is a segment where you learn to command a robot army, only to hand over command to a different character after learning the "signs" used; you never regain control. The episode 3 combat feels like the rebel alliance games from the 90s but much much worse. No cover, no movement, and, again, poor tracking.

If you would like to regret buying a PSVR, this is your game. I got this game for 20 bucks and I still feel ripped off.

First time i've actually felt genuinely ripped off. Episodes are VERY short, Graphics and textures are awful, Most of the game takes place in near complete darkness, There is very little actual gameplay or interactivity. As another reviewer pointed out, this is more like an "experience" than a game. even a die hard Star Wars fan would be massively disappointed. The story holds everything together. The post-Episode-III setup ensures this Vader is menacing yet tragic, and the journey into Mustafar’s lost temples delivers a fantastical spectacle. [Issue#4, p.88]

While it is a short experience, Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series offers up the most immersive virtual Jedi experience you can find. Authentic in every way, meeting Darth Vader face to face, and squaring off in the Lightsaber Dojo makes it worth every penny.

Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series succeeds in its goal of making you feel like a Jedi. With a high production value, intriguing plot, and excellent cinematics, the game will leave fans of the franchise in awe. However, with little gameplay and a short runtime, this is more of a VR experience than a game.
