    it’s much more open than it’s predecessor with places you can actually find and explore which actually makes it feel like an adventure game instead of a call of duty

    The real treasure is family, really loved this game’s story it’s better than the past games, the writing is better, the gameplay is better, and the graphics are way better it can easily pass as a ps5 game

    The gameplay is 4/10, it is basically rock climbing, with some puzzles and getting lost a lot without knowing where to go. I don't know why this game can't have a decent system to warn the player where he should go, also isn't funny 5 hours of repetitive rock climbing. On top of that, there are some quick time events.

From the beginning to the almost ending it feels the same **** just killing a horde of mercenaries over and over with pretty much the same weapons, just in the end of the game there are new relevant weapons like an RPG, but that only happens in chapter 20-21

    Story 6/10 (Spoilers alert) - The story is about a seek for a pirate treasure (Avery treasury). Sam (Nathan's brother whom he thought had died) has returned saying that he was released from prison by Alcazar (a drug cartel leader) in exchange for him to find and give him half of Avery's treasure. Nathan lies to his wife and tries to help his brother.

    In the seeking, we meet the villain Rafe that a playboy with an inferiority complex because he inherited the fortune from his father and never conquered anything. He hates especially Drake because he envies his talent as a treasury seeker, so he wants badly to discover Avery's treasury. Needless to say, that villain isn't anything special her partner, Nadine is more interesting but she doesn't show much of her personality.

    IMO the beginning and the ending are ok but the middle is damn too long and bad, it is basically Nate and Sam seeking the treasury going from many places with lots of boring puzzles and rock climbing, and nothing really interesting happening it is the same **** "oh the treasury isn't here we need to go to another place". That happens in chapters 6-14.

    Also, I must say the story is too danm unrealistic, Nathan appears to be a Super-Hero because the scenes of action are too ridiculous, Nathan and his friends make things impossible like jumping from car to car in a chase with dozens of mercenaries shooting him with guns.

    In chapter 15 the story has the biggest twist. There isn't Alcazar, Sam lied to Nathan, actually Rafe released him from prison but he betrayed him. From that moment at least the story becomes way less repetitive. Nathan's wife saves him and helps them with Sully too.

    Alas, it is just the generic ending, they find the treasury, defeat the villain and they lived happily ever after. IMO, the story is just 6/10.

    Graphics is 8/10. It is the best part of the game, especially the character models, they are so real.

    Final word - I've played on PC and it was my first Uncharted game, I was so hyped to play this game that everyone said was a masterpiece. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. I don't see anything special in this game.    … Expand

    The story has a ton of plot holes, for example, the characters just found out where they need to go through a scroll we spent the first few hours searching for and immediately the bad guy, who was also looking for the scroll, has telepathic abilities and also knows where to go.     As to the positives, the overall story is not bad, just the execution of it. The music is decent albeit nothing exceptional and the visuals are actually good. This game is more of a movie than a game so I'll judge as that and it's not great but not bad. A slightly above average game. I should finally note that this is a children's game, there's no blood and the dialogue is written usually for teenagers    … Expand

    Probably one of my favorite video game of all time. The story is incredible, the graphics are beautiful. Definitely one of the best video games I've ever played to. I don't understand why this game has only 7.9/10 from users, I guess XBOX One and PC fans are mad cause Uncharted is only available on good game console. Anyway, great job Naughtydog for this game.

    Peerless. The next generation of video games starts here. PS4's first flagship game. From the first chapter to the last, Uncharted 4 revels in its own brilliance. The humour is as alive as it's ever been, the graphics set a new bar, the mechanics are second to none. I've been playing video games for over 20 years and this is one of the best I've ever played.

    The best game ever seen on PS4. Gorgeous graphic, characters, dialogs...
    I really enjoyed playing Uncharted 1,2,3 but Uncharted 4 is the most beautiful game of series.

It feels like a fantastic dream come true as cheesy as this sounds. The visuals are absolutely stunning, the gargantuan level designs are top notch, the acting is incredible and most important of all, the gameplay is a fun adventureThis game is phenomenal. I, like others have been eagerly waiting and anticipating this game for so long and it's finally here! The wait was worth it! It feels like a fantastic dream come true as cheesy as this sounds. The visuals are absolutely stunning, the gargantuan level designs are top notch, the acting is incredible and most important of all, the gameplay is a fun adventure which makes me jubilant. I'm happy that this is the final chapter for Nathan Drake and his companions. I was cautiously hyped and was afraid that it wouldn't deliver but it absolutely did in my personal opinion. Uncharted 4 is definitely somewhere in my top 5 and I don't know where to place it.

    Cons: there were some really slow parts near the beginning but I started to appreciate the build up. I can appreciate what naughty dog was displaying in a story point of view.

    The repeated use of crates got kind of stale as well.

    Even though I had minor nitpicks, overall....what a game! An unfaltering 10/10. Game of the summer 2016 and a contender for game of the year. We shall find out when the time is here!!    … Expand

    This game just oozes class and quality and its just fun to play and experience... the only downside to this game is you will feel like other games are bit "meh" when you go back to playing them as this just stands out.. but the multiplayer in this is really fun so you never have to put it down after you have played through the single player (many times)... definitely a 10/10 kinda game.

    Just having beat the single player, game is a 9.5/10 for me (can't give half values here). Beat it in 16 hours. A lot of that was due to me roaming around, could have been 13-14 for my initial play through.

    - The production design and technicality of the game is beyond phenomenal. Once the initial load screen is over, the game runs like nothing else.     - The production design and technicality of the game is beyond phenomenal. Once the initial load screen is over, the game runs like nothing else. I had no frame drops/dips, the transition between cut scene and game play is so seamless. Chapters literally blend together.

    - Story and its progression were sublime, doesn't have that huge "explosive" moment like in Uncharted 2. Like the game just doesn't go into full climactic mode, it just naturally gets very intense in multiple, smaller moments which I enjoyed much more. Great goodbye to Drake's adventures.

    - Now the game play is very fluid and variable between stealth and going guns blazing. Shooting still feels odd (the crosshairs are a bit wider than previous games, and the bullet can sway in its little range, throwing me off a lot). There are still the same old finicky cover moments, but usually that is from you panicking and not planning what to do. Platforming is the best its ever been in the series (the rope is tons of fun). The game is also fairly easy compared to past games.

    It's going to be sad saying good bye to Drake and the Gang, but this was the most fitting send off the game could have got, the story wasn't polluted to make for an over the top climax. The visuals and ability for the game to run this well on a PS4 is mind blowing.

    Must play game, but play the other 3 first, or else you will not appreciate the characters at all.    … Expand

    Uncharted 4 is like uncharted 2, but improved in every single aspect. It improves in shooting, puzzles, climbing, storytelling, multiplayer, and also adds more game mechanics. Ignore the Xbox and PC fanboys this game deserves all the ten out of ten's it's getting.

    Quick Summary. The graphics are beautiful. Gameplay is fun, Characters are great. Another masterpiece from naughty dog. my only cons are technical issues like a little framerate drops and some problem I had with the rope mechanics. Other than that, great game.

    This Uncharted 4: A Thieves End, along with Uncharted 2 Among Thieves, is the best title in the series. I have nothing except great things to say about this game including: the obvious narrative from beginning to end, the new game mechanics and how good the multiplayer is. I would recommend anyone with a ps4 to get this game.

    This is the epitome of what a game should be and U4/Naughty Dog have once again set the standard for gaming. There are    Uncharted 4 is the greatest game of all time. As for the foreseeable future, there will not be better game than this. U4 has the best graphics ever put to a console to date, a compelling narrative that is beautifully structured, fluid game play, and fantastic dialogue.

    This is the epitome of what a game should be and U4/Naughty Dog have once again set the standard for gaming. There are not enough positive adjectives to describe how amazing this game is.     Everything you want from an Uncharted game plus plenty of new things to keep it fresh.
    Easily the best looking game on PS4, possibly ever, or at least in the attention to detail that Naughty Dog applies to environments and facial and body animations.
    However it's not the graphics that is the main reason to play this game. In my opinion, this one has the best story, it is deep, personal, and has a real sense of threat and urgency at times.
    Where others say one of the game's low points is that the new characters such as Sam are forced in, I feel that it is handled fine, and he is a welcome addition to the series, along with some memorable villains.
    Whilst some might find the pacing at the beginning of the game a little slow, I don't think it is a bad thing as Drake is now retired from all his adventures and is living a calm life. These first chapters are never boring though, it provides plenty of things to do.
    The gameplay is refined, and shooting feels better than ever. The addition of the rope swing and stealth mechanics give you more ways to approach a group of enemies. If I had one problem however, is that I preferred how the combat was in Uncharted 3, but I don't think many people actually share that thought with me, and the combat is still fun in U4.
    In conclusion, buy the game! If you've played the other uncharted games, this is a must, and for those who haven't, what are you waiting for? Definitely my favorite uncharted game.    … Expand

UC4 brings the series forward in the same direction as UC3, completely obliterating the standards set by that game. Simply put, UC4 is the very best UC has to offer and it shouldn't be missed.     Naughty Dog have put 110% into this game as you can tell from the moment you start playing. The story is incredible and so is the smooth gameplay. The graphics are also possibly the nicest looking graphics I have ever seen in a game before and the multiplayer is fast paced and fun. It lives upto the hype in every way shape and form. People on here have been scoring the game 0 just for theNaughty Dog have put 110% into this game as you can tell from the moment you start playing.     Finished the game and i have to say that it is the best in the uncharted series and for the console generation(so far at least...) for multiple reasons.First of all, the game has one of the best console graphics as well as a very memorable story followed by a very addictive and balanced multiplayer.Absolute masterpiece

Stealth mechanics are solid and made the gameplay more diverse. To sum up, despite it's the last game of the series, Naughty Dog brought a lot of changes to the gameplay and passed with flying colors.

    Graphics: There are not enough words to praise the visuals of this game. To say the least, it is the best looking video game of this generation in any platform.
    Final Verdict: Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is the perfect farewell that our favorite hero Nathan Drake deserves. A true masterpiece, most probably the best Uncharted game ever. 10/10    … Expand

    This is truly a masterpiece the PS4 has been waiting for. The gameplay, mechanics, facial animations, visuals and story are unparalleled. It's sad to see Xbox deterrents get on metacritic and give it a 0 score just to troll. This game should be celebrated and in my opinion is the game of the generation.

    En el momento que empiezan los créditos después del prólogo mi piel era completamente de gallina.

    Técnicamente no hay nada mejor en consolas ahora mismo, así de simple. ND hace magia con todo lo que toca y no me puedo imaginar que haría esta gente con un pc en condiciones. Y esto demuestra que no todo es el hardware en esta industria. Que si le pones ganas y talento, con una máquina justita puedes hacer obras maestras. Por favor, estos son los que hicieron entrar The Last of Us en Ps3!!!! Este Uncharted 4 es simplemente un escalón mas en esa progresión triunfal.

    En fin, recomendadissimo e imprescindible si eres fan de la saga. Y si no lo eres, juegalo, no creo que valores el rato pasado como malo.

    Y por último, nunca entenderé los TROLLS y la gente que debe tener poca vida o ser un desgraciado directamente y que vienen a sitio como este a trollear sobre el juego. Quizás es producto de su propia frustración por no poder jugarlo, y no incapaces de canalizarla. O sencillamente porque son así y no hay mas neuronas en el cerebro.

    Great game, doesn't deserve the low rating from users. The parkour elements are superb as always, dialogue is excellent and hilarious at times and I'm really liking the story so far. The multiplayer is fun and plays a bit like The Last Of Us factions, only a lot more fast paced and less stealthy. I only wish you could create your own character in MP.

The story was fantastic but i wont talk about it in this review so you could experience it yourself. Go buy this game now it is the best game i have ever played and left me sad that i could never experience it again for the first time. It is definitely worth the price with Naughty dog adding free content to the multiplayer part of the game. (Haven't played the multiplayer yet but when i do i will add my thoughts of it to the review.)… Expand

    Ive never played a game that has rivaled movies in terms of acting and relationships as this game has. Don't miss out on best game out for Ps4 so far this generation.

    I recommend to all fans of the Uncharted franchise! In this game the ND managed to improve the combat system, the intelligence of the enemies, the graphics and also managed to close the franchise with a golden key. For those who doubt, I recommend without doubt. After the campaign mode closing, I recommend spending a few hours in multiplay mode - it's fun!

It is clear that Naughty Dog has taken all of the lessons they learned from the first 3 Uncharted's and The Last Of Us and once again created a masterpiece for the PS4.After Naughty Dog proved what they could do with The Last Of Us, they had a lot to prove with Uncharted 4. Well, I can proudly say that Uncharted 4 completely delivers and I've only played Uncharted 2 and a little bit of 3. It is clear that Naughty Dog has taken all of the lessons they learned from the first 3 Uncharted's and The Last Of Us and once again created a masterpiece for the PS4. Nathan Drake's final adventure is perhaps the most engaging and thought-provoking yet, thanks to excellent writing and performances. However, the real strength of Uncharted 4 is the way it is able to combine story and gameplay with such grace. The game can be a little too difficult at times and the climbing controls could be improved, but those concern easily faded away when I was given the choice to engage a situation with stealth or brute force in the game's much larger sandboxes, or when the banter between Nathan, Elena, Sully, or Nathan's brother, Sam put a smile on my face or brought me to edge of tears. While playing Uncharted 4's 12-14 hour story, I never wanted to put the controller down. It's a story about family, self-examination, and even storytelling itself. And to top it all off, there is an engaging and provocative multiplayer in the package as well, with intense gameplay and tons of unlocks. Uncharted 4 is a game that AAA developers can only dream of creating. If this really is the end, Nathan Drake couldn't have asked for a better sendoff.… Expand

    "The trouble with trilogies is that they almost never end at three. The same kind of thinking that assumes three parts will be necessary to tell a single story will inevitably need a fourth and fifth shot at getting things right. In that way, “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End” feels as inevitable as it does unnecessary. Each new entry has strained to add something new to its post-Imperialist pulp fantasies of treasure hunting in far-away lands. It’s a game in which a character reaching for a door knob might trigger the whole building to collapse, leaving them left dangling by three fingers over a subterranean chasm.

    The first three games followed Nathan Drake in search of treasures lost to the modern world — El Dorado, Shangri-La, and Iram of the Pillars. They were weightless fables in which a hero did the work of nations — sneaking across borders, driving into areas still untouched by government census or GPS satellites, and hopefully walking away with a few crates of gold for his trouble.

    As a video game, this sense of adventuring was reduced to three essential pieces — long shootouts against mercenaries; interludes of cliff-climbing and ruins-clambering; and lavish movie sequences in which characters try to establish some emotional bond between an unlikely crew of helpers stuck working with Nathan. The games never made the case for why Nathan thought this was a better way to find a fortune than day trading, but the thrill of dangling from a newly disgorged tree root while being fired upon by RPGs was enough to make the series a success.

    “A Thief’s End” attempts to add something new to this formula by digging deeper into the psychology of its hero. The title and gloomy cover art suggest that someone’s going to have to die in order to gift players with enlightening insight into the business of treasure hunting. Will the man who defined himself through action be undone by the horrors of self-reflection?

    In an interview with Eurogamer, the game’s co-creative director Neil Druckmann promised to, more or less, burn the house down on his way out: “with the end of this story it will be really hard to do a sequel with Nathan Drake. Maybe there’ll be a prequel, maybe it will be a different character — I don’t know. But this is the end for Nathan Drake.” It sounds almost too good to be true.

    “A Thief’s End” begins with Nathan having already quit. He’s retired from treasure hunting and happily married to Elena, the photojournalist who tagged along on his first adventure. The couple is leading a comfortable middle class life in New Orleans when Nathan’s brother Sam randomly appears. Nathan thought Sam had died during a caper in Panama 15 years earlier, but instead he was just stuck in a local prison, from which he escaped by promising a local drug lord money from a mythical treasure he and Nathan had been tracking when they were separated all those years back — the forgotten booty of the 17th Century pirate Henry Avery.

    Nathan is guilted out of retirement and plunged back into the familiar whorl of guns and survivalist parkour to save his brother’s skin, a man who’s incrementally more reckless and selfish than Nathan. This is telegraphed by the vague cosmetic sleights of a dubious neck tattoo and receding hairline.

    The first few hours of the game jumps backward and forward through time, making it seem like there might be more behind each unanswered question than there is. The second half becomes a laborious trudge across a small but inexhaustible part of the Malagasy coast searching for the lost pirate colony of Libertalia. The brothers argue about their dead mother and Nathan begins to wonder whether his commitment to his last remaining blood relation is ruining his marriage. They process their feelings by shouting lines at each other like: “This has nothing to do with that!” And “This has everything to do with that!”

    The “Uncharted” games have never excelled at storytelling. Instead, they’ve used it an accompaniment to overwhelming visual technology. The games have always struck me as garish more than gorgeous, more interested in overwhelming the senses than communicating with them. “A Thief’s End” is overflowing with useless detail. It overwhelms the eye with so many different points of focus that one almost clings to the over-the-shoulder focal point at the center of the screen, where the gun reticle can at least hint at a potential ways of engaging with all of the simulated objects and effects that are otherwise impossible to identify, let alone differentiate.    … Expand

    Okay so as of now I have finished the game and I have to say this game is magnificent. I personally feel as if this game has topped the series and nearly any game that has been or to come in the future, When I first played Uncharted 1 it was because a friend recommended the series as I really enjoyed Tomb Raider and various games of this genre. I completed the first game and feel in love soon after playing the Uncharted 2 and then proceeded by Uncharted 3. I felt at the time I loved Uncharted 2 and 3's stories equally but loved Uncharted 3's mechanics and game play even more... well this game tops both of those with the mechanics of the game to even the story with even some nostalgia to The Last of Us giraffe scene with the pirate island with lemurs in this game    … Expand

    This is the game that the PS4 was waiting for. Graphics, gameplay, story, easter eggs ( The best ever) multiplayer... Those fake reviews made me laugh

    This game is wonderful in every aspect I can think of. The story, voice acting, character animations, graphics, gameplay, physics, and multiplayer are all great examples of how a game should be made. I'm very willing to wager the largest portion of negative reviews come from immature trolls trying to make the game look bad because it's not on their preferred platform.     A minha avaliação está votada apenas para o modo campanha. O jogo está fantástico. Em termos de gráficos, jogabilidade e história está muito bom. Este é aquele tipo jogo que você começa, não quer parar e quando termina você fica muito chateado, por você o jogo teria umas 200 horas. Isto é Uncharted!

    UNCHARTED 4 Goty! É um jogo obrigatório para qualquer dono de PS4. Gráficos perfeitos os mais bonitos dessa geração e com um forte enredo fazem UNCHARTED 4 o melhor jogo do ano. Uma pena que sertas pessoas invejosas estão dando nota 0 para está obra-prima. Só mostra o quanto de frustante não ter esse baita jogo em sua plataforma preferida.

    What a time to be alive, PS4 finally has that game that would make you buy a console, it is the perfect ending to the series, filled with spectacular views, exiting combats, stealth and perfect figth mechanics.
    Fun, shot for those lovers of the series like me knowing that this is the end of almost 10 years of awesome games, it is imposible not compare with the others uncharted games, but    What a time to be alive, PS4 finally has that game that would make you buy a console, it is the perfect ending to the series, filled with spectacular views, exiting combats, stealth and perfect figth mechanics.

    It's a masterpiece. Amazing story, good writing. Currently the best looking game on PS4. Nice dialogues the characters almost feel like they are real actors. The shooting and the game mechanics are great.
    GOTY 2016.

    Uncharted 4 is a landmark title that anyone remotely interested in interactive storytelling should invest in. Naughty Dog has once again raised the bar across the industry. Thrilling shootouts, a staggering level of detail, breathtaking visuals and emotional depth come together to make Uncharted 4: A Thief's End a must-play masterpiece.

    Stating that the forthcoming game will be the last rendezvous with a popular, charismatic hero is a rare phenomenon. I congratulate Naughty Dog on their courage and in spite of myself keep my fingers crossed for them to stick to their decision. The farewell party they threw for Nate is simply spectacular. This is how I want to remember him, not as an old man who rubbed his joints with pain cream and then found a UFO. Uncharted 4 is a brilliant game and a breathtaking demonstration of what PS4 is capable of. [07/2016, p.56]
