    First off, in regards to all the negative reviews on here from users.....5 minutes of looking at the users giving the game 0 will show that they have given all PS4 games a 0 while giving Xbox One games and even Wii U (Including..Star Fox Zero) Perfect 10s...this should give you an idea of how great this series is just because of the hate it is getting form those unable to play.

    Honestly the best PS4 game and possibly best game of its genre for 2016. While the game does trudge along near the final section of the game it still ends with the beauty and flair that the first 80% of the game gave you.

    Beautiful set pieces.
    Great Animations.
    Epic action sequences.
    Intriguing Story.
    Phenomenal Cast.

    Also the multiplayer is a huge improvement over previous installments. And the 60fps is an added bonus. While their are micro-transactions these are mostly limited to cosmetics that you can still earn in-game.    … Expand

    This is hands down the best game I have ever played, nothing I can think of even comes close. ND truly outdid themselves with this masterpiece. I'm sad that the series is over, but I'm so happy I got to play this truly amazing adventure. 10/10 no doubt!

    Game is really awesome kudos to Naughty dog team.Really way far better than rival Quantum Break.Quantum break lost the race by miles.FREE DLC.Uncharted series is going great by each release,should have been UC5 as well.Miss UC series

    I wanted to post this review not only to counteract the trolling on here (more on that in a bit), but to say how much I'm enjoying this game! I'm nine chapters in and i can't help but be in awe of the experience of playing this game. The graphics are amazing, the voice acting is spot on--complete with all the charm and humor we've come to know and love from this series, and the gameplay isI wanted to post this review not only to counteract the trolling on here (more on that in a bit), but to say how much I'm enjoying this game! I'm nine chapters in and i can't help but be in awe of the experience of playing this game. The graphics are amazing, the voice acting is spot on--complete with all the charm and humor we've come to know and love from this series, and the gameplay is near perfect. There are a few minor gripes that I have: 1) the game, at times, tries to be like the Metal Gear games, whereas it almost seems like the game forces you to play stealthily in some sections. There are a given number of enemies in an area, and taking them out with stealth IS fun, but if they spot you all of a sudden dozens of them come out of the woodwork. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with white-knuckle shootouts, but it can be a bit frustrating at times, 2) there are certain times where the graphics CAN be a bit blurry. It's nothing major, and maybe it's intentional, but it was a little immersion breaking for me. However, these are VERY minor gripes when weighed against the whole experience of the game, which is epic to say the least!

    Now, as far as these XBox/PC fan boys getting on here and giving the game 0s I have just one thing to say: grow the f*ck up! I mean if you prefer Microsoft products over Sony that's fine, more power to you, but bashing a game that's doing well with critics just because it's not on YOUR platform is childish and petty. I'm a Sony guy myself to be honest, but I don't go onto the user reviews of XBox games and hate on THOSE titles for no reason. Get a life, really! Just like what you like and keep your narrow-minded opinions to yourself.

    This is the only Uncharted game I've played, and it feels like the only one I'll ever need to play. It's got a compelling story, emotional characters, and interesting gameplay. What more could you want? 10/10 it's a PS4 essential.

    Uncharted is my favorite video game franchise of all time, so it's safe to say I was extremely excited for Uncharted 4, the final installment in this legendary series of games. I wanted U4 to deliver in emotion, story, graphics, next-generation gamplay and set pieces, and just overall set an example of how to close out a franchise like this. I am undeniably ecstatic to say U4    Introduction
    Uncharted is my favorite video game franchise of all time, so it's safe to say I was extremely excited for Uncharted 4, the final installment in this legendary series of games. I wanted U4 to deliver in emotion, story, graphics, next-generation gamplay and set pieces, and just overall set an example of how to close out a franchise like this. I am undeniably ecstatic to say U4 delivers on all those fronts in Naughty Dog's dependable and amazing fashion. Let's get into why that is.

    Story
    I love Uncharted so much for many different reasons but possibly the biggest is all of the games' fantastic story (minus U3 - it was meh compared to the others, but that's a different topic for another time). U4 has the best story out of all four games. The basic plot of this game is that it's been awhile since Nathan Drake has gone on his dangerous, yet exciting adventures. He's living a normal life now. However, Nathan's brother, Sam, returns after a long absence. Nathan is eventually dragged back into the world of treasure-hunting by his brother, but the stakes this time are more personal and "final-installment"-like. I really wanted this game to fully capsize on big, emotional punches, and for the most part, I can say it did that throughout its 15 hour length. I loved Sam's addition to the series. I became attached to their brotherly bond throughout this grand adventure. Nathan is as lovable as ever (obviously). So is Sully and Elena. Speaking of Nate and Elena, they have more time to shine here as a couple more than ever, and the scenes with just them together are some of the best in the entire game. Forgive the cheesiness, please, but it was adorable. Also, I have to bring up the increasingly intriguing treasure storyline here. That too was super great. The characters, their relationships, and the treasure storyline here make this game's story absolutely amazing.

    Graphics
    I was on a binge-playing session with this game. When I went outside to do some jobs, I literally couldn't see the difference between this game's graphics and the real-world. No joke. U4 is the best looking game I've ever laid eyes on, and I'm sure it'll keep that title for a long time. Everything is layered with such precious detail. The character's expressions in cutscenes, the way Nate leaves behind footprints, the way the red mud sprays up when driving through it, just...oh my God. This game may be worth it alone for just the graphics.

    Gameplay
    Gameplay in U4 has been refined in great and interesting ways, and there has also been a little bit more variety added to this one. I have to bring up the shooting first and foremost. Not only does the shooting itself feel very good, but the shootouts are incredibly dynamic. They're quite challenging, too, which I truly appreciated. The areas in which the shootouts happen are level design at its finest. Climbing and traversing the environment hasn't changed much, but there has been a lot more of that added here, along with the exploration elements. You feel like a true explorer, more so than any other Uncharted. However, that means the set pieces here aren't all over the place like in some of the previous games. I will admit that I was a bit wanting of maybe one or two more. That doesn't mean they're not fantastic, though.

    Review Closing
    Uncharted 4 is a masterpiece and is further example that Naughty Dog is the best developer in gaming - stop arguing. You know it's true. I'm sad to see my favorite game series reach its true finale, but all good things must come to an end. Thank you, Naughty Dog, thank you, for creating this incredible franchise.    … Expand

    Looks fantastic environments as you would expect from naughty dog are some of the best if not the best on Playstation some truly amazing attention to detail. plays really well gun controls are responsive without being over responsive.

    uncharted 4 a thief's end is an amazing game for uncharted fans. It is a game that beautifully blends gameplay with its storytelling. It offers a perfectly touching ending for nathan drake, a charming character we've been knowing for years. It is simply the best uncharted game ever made.Well done naughty dog!

    i was really enjoy the game...great graphics...awesome opening...a real dialog between brothers and little cute jokes...i was really connected to the character...well...i didn't finish the game yet...but so far i like the game :)

Sure, you can beat the game in 20 hours, but you can easily spend another 20 hours exploring the world around you. Not just searching for collectibles, but looking at the details, enjoying the views and making screenshots. This game is one the most beautiful games I've played in my life (another being Witcher 3). I'm still half way through the story, so I might update my score later, but so far it's looks interesting, with a lot of great characters. Lots of improvements compared to U3.    … Expand

Considering performance, the game is impeccable. The presentation, acting (again), score, and visuals are all some of the best I've ever witnessed in the medium. The only thing holding me from giving the game a 10 is its pacing. It's paced extremely well for the most part, but there are segments that can tend to drag a bit. This may be intentional, as Naughty Dog is obviously trying to convey a more reserved and reluctant hero. Regardless, this is an exceptional experience, a tour dé force in interactive storytelling, and a fitting end to arguably the most well-known and loved cast of characters in the entire Playstation library.     The uncharted series has been an awesome ride, and now that its over it feels kind of bitter/sweet as im left longing for more. What really stands out for me is the characters, story and beauty of the locations we visit in the games. Uncharted 4 is a great end to the series definitely one of my favorite games of all time.

    Uncharted 4 is very much the epitome of the last decade of Naughty Dog games. Beautiful, gripping, charming, fun, exciting, and memorable. "It's better to burn out than to fade away" Neil Young's lyrics have never fit a game so accurately. Buy it. Play it. Love it.

    Uncharted 4 is, firstly, the most BEAUTIFUL console game I've ever seen. Absolutely stunning. On top of that it's one of the best games I've ever played. The story is better than many movie plots and the actors are believable. Naughty Dog has done a stellar job.

    I don't know what kind of witchcraft the guys at Naughty dog are doing to generate this visuals on a ps4 but this the BEST looking game ever, period. The story telling and gameplay are top notch as well. Uncharted 4 is gem that every gamer should at least play once.

    How good it is! It's so exciting and huge. I'm in like Indiana Jones movie but the maim character is me. I think it's the best Uncharted game with one of the most beautiful game world I've ever seen. Thank you, Naughty Dog. Good ending of the series...

    The story matured briliantly and we see Drake as he is living a normal life without shooting and jumping around in search of treasures and adventure and it's just a joy watching how all unfolds.
    Gameplay is the best combination of ND's previous masterpiece TLOU and all other Uncharted games,and that was a genius move. Graphics    ND did it again,they created a beautiful world full of life.
    The story matured briliantly and we see Drake as he is living a normal life without shooting and jumping around in search of treasures and adventure and it's just a joy watching how all unfolds.
    Gameplay is the best combination of ND's previous masterpiece TLOU and all other Uncharted games,and that was a genius move.
    Graphics are mindblowing and in my honest opinion the best in the industry at the moment.
    Fans will enjoy the game,others put aside "console war" and enjoy this gem of gaming.
    Naughty Dog set the bar to the sky,and they deserve all the praise that are given to them.    … Expand

    It's been a helluva time since i gave a 10/10, but this game deserves it. Nicely done Naughty Dog.

    From the game's graphics to the storyline,
    or the amazing action sequences to the soundtrack,
    I got to one conclusion.

    Uncharted 4 is a must-buy for any gamer. Go buy it if you haven't already, you'll not regret it.

    This game is amazing! The first chapters are very cinematic, in which we can see the magnetic story of the game. Then the action starts, and this new concept of open world is just amazing.

    Really, if you own a PS4, you should buy this game. If not, commit suicide.

    Great story, great characters, great graphics (with NO downgrade), bad ass animations.

    With a story mode lenght of about 12 hours, and an entertaining multiplayer, this game worths every single coin.

    Nate in Uncharted 4 finally looks alive, it’s not that old badass treasure hunter we all knew – now he has what to lose and it’s easy and painful to see how he must choose between saving his brother and the ones he loves.

    What can I say? I've played 1 - 3 and I was impressed with the voice acting, graphics and story. U2 was my favourite at that time as it paved the way of the capabilities of the PS2. After playing and finishing U4, I had that same feeling when U2 came out and more.

    The story was awesome, getting back to past companions like Sully and Elena. Sam was a good addition with the talent    What can I say?     The story was awesome, getting back to past companions like Sully and Elena. Sam was a good addition with the talent voice of Troy Baker (you'd mistake Nolan and Troy to be brothers) very well acted.

    The biggest take away for me was the design and quality of the environment. It is unbelievable! The level of detail and the cinematics look so realistic. The physics is great especially driving through the mud and streams with a jeep in Madagascar to swimming under flooded buildings and running through wind and snow in the Scottish Highlands. As Sully would say it "Goddamn"!

    I can't put anything to a negative except the lack of Co Op. I thought this was a wasted opportunity as Drake is normally accompanied by another NPC like Sam, Elena or Sully. It would be awesome to play Couch Co Op with a mate and laugh at each others mishaps falling off cliffs and ledges to their violent death.

    Multiplayer is really fun but can be a bit better especially the Match finding can take a long time. Lots of content to collect ranging from perks for your guns to visual like Emotes, new skins and costumes. It was great to see the past characters like Flynn, Chloe and Cutter back to play as PvP characters.

    Overall, I give this a 9.5 but I'll round it off to a 10 since it is the last of the series and swansong to Drake's adventures (?) ...plus they put in a small PS1 game in there for the old school players like me. Predicting this to be GOTY edging off Dark Souls 3

And please meta critic remove the bogus 40 score from washington posts, prolonging this is only bringing metacritics professionalism into question. There are many good games which excel at fast gameplay or one liners, but this game portrayed a degree of realism and grit which was not present before in the series. Overall its a great fit for players that enjoy nuance, explorable scenes and a level of detail that creates a feeling of immersion. The soundtrack is also quite good and I recommend playing with a good set of headphones.… Expand

The Uncharted series has done this very well from the first game through the fourth. The fourth and final installment, however, did something a little bit extra. It finished the story and finished it well. Stories that follow a central character have to reach an inevitable conclusion. Unlike stories that follow broader socio-political concepts, which can change and adapt to continue on, stories based on a central character needs an end for audiences to be truly satisfied. Uncharted 4 does this in spectacular fashion. It includes chapters from the past that reveals the depth of the Nathan Drake character, allowing for greater character development than we've seen in previous titles. The game also shows us how Nathan Drake has learned from his previous experiences, and applies that wisdom to finally (spoiler alert) let go of his wild ambitions for treasure and adventure, and to finally settle down with Elena. I love games that make me feel things like aUncharted 4 is absolutely outstanding and I really wish it was on Xbox too that way it wouldn't get bashed by half of the petty retarded console war community. I see people giving it scores of 0 on metacritic and sites like that when they have clearly never played it and it's disappointing because this type of game is hanging on by a thread. I love games that make me feel things like a movie or novel where I can get attached to the characters and the story but all the pleb gamers today just want **** like the division and destiny. Open world run the same trash content 1000 times to get loot and hang out with friends online rather than outside. Don't give a game a 0 because you don't have the console or it isn't your cup of tea, this game is OBJECTIVELY better than a 0.… Expand

    Excelente videojuego, tanto gráficamente como en argumento y sonido. Buen control de brillos y los frames son estables. Vengo de tener un xbox 360 y ahora tengo las 2 consolas next-gen. Gracias Naughty Dog por esta obra tan sólida y por dar el ejemplo a otras compañías a que mejoren su calidad en producción.

    Uncharted 4 is the best game in its genre. It is graphically beautiful, well polished, the voice acting is fantastic and it has a wonderful adrenaline rush when played as intended.     Standing on its on right this is an amazing game but viewing it through the lens of the three that have gone before this is the best way to end a series. Had my heart pumping from beginning to end. Can not wait to see what naughty dog will do next.

    Really good game, one of the best in the PS4! ND are just masters on doing action games... Great story, amazing graphics, smooth gunplay and fun MP. Really sad that XBOX and PC fanboys are giving out 0s to this game...

    Stating that the forthcoming game will be the last rendezvous with a popular, charismatic hero is a rare phenomenon. I congratulate Naughty Dog on their courage and in spite of myself keep my fingers crossed for them to stick to their decision. The farewell party they threw for Nate is simply spectacular. This is how I want to remember him, not as an old man who rubbed his joints with pain cream and then found a UFO. Uncharted 4 is a brilliant game and a breathtaking demonstration of what PS4 is capable of. [07/2016, p.56]
